Robber’s Cave is a wedding venue located in Lincoln, NE. This landmark has been the subject of legend for decades in the Lincoln area. Ideal for fans of folklore and those with a flair for the creative, you can enjoy an unforgettable day at this banquet location. Robber’s Cave invites you to host both your ceremony and reception at its spacious estate. You can even begin your day on-site, using the Hideaway as your personal preparation suite. This room features plush furnishings and fixtures to easily accommodate your hair and makeup team while allowing you to relax with your wedding entourage. You can also use the Robber’s Roost as a get-ready space. This lofted area is located above one of the banquet halls and provides a cozy, private area for you to ready yourself for the festivities. Your ceremony can take place outdoors at the Dakota Theatre. This truly unique site features an open wooden deck, ideal for use as an altar space. Seating can be set up in the patio it faces, giving each and every one of your guests a clear view of your service. Following this, the lawn can also be used to host your cocktail reception. It even features a walk-up bar, easily accessible by an adjacent set of stairs. Your main meal can take place in the James room. This elegant banquet hall has a seating capacity of up to 220 guests. Robber's Cave Reviews
We used the lower level of RC for our wedding ceremony and reception. It was the perfect amount of space for our event, is lit beautifully, and we highly recommend it for any event. The hour we got the night before was perfect for a rehearsal and dropping off our decor. Dexi’s communication leading up to our event was 10/10 and the staff on-site the day of were all super helpful throughout the evening.The only piece of feedback I have would probably be to include cave tours in the rental package!

This location was absolutely wonderful for my wedding reception!!! It was educational, fun and super unique! I know all of my guests will be talking about it for many years. I highly recommend to take the cave tours.

This place is gorgeous! Justin was so easy to work with and his team as well. The preparation was a breeze and he made sure everything is how we wanted it to be. Our wedding was very intimate and it was very special. This place made it even better. The caves added a unique touch to everything and our guests loved the cave tours! You don't see a lot of wedding pictures in a cave but we sure did!

Robber’s Cave is a unique and fun venue for a wedding! In comparison to other venues you receive so much more for the price. There is an outdoor ceremony setting, cocktail hour area, downstairs reception space and a bridal suite to get ready. Plus there is a cave! Our first look photos are stunning and our guests loved the cave tour! Justin is incredibly responsive and very patient with questions.

We had an intimate ceremony at Robber's Cave followed by a small reception in August. We couldn't recommend using Robber's Cave for your wedding more! Working with Justin was incredibly detail oriented, professional, inclusive, fun, and stress free. He was beyond helpful and made sure that everything ran smoothly leading up to, and day of our big day! Yes Chef is their exclusive caterer, and the food was delicious and the service was great! We had a small wedding, but they offer sizes for larger weddings as well. The space is beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the cave is so freaking cool! 10/10 recommend.

Robber's Cave was the perfect venue for our wedding. Justin, the Venue Manager, was the most professional and helpful person I have ever worked with. He helped us achieve our dream wedding, and went above and beyond to ensure every little details was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful and fun, I really enjoyed the new bridal suit for pre-wedding activities. All of our guests had a wonderful time and commented how much they enjoyed the venue. Thank you Justin!

Our day was beautiful! The venue and catering staff were making a noticeable effort to give us the special celebration we envisioned, despite being handcuffed by COVID restrictions. The space was clean and we were able to decorate and customize it to our event. The food was excellent and they let us mix and match to create the menu we wanted. The staff was responsive and helpful through the whole experience, and earned every dollar spent, with their hustle, on the day of the event.We will be using them again in May!

Austin Moline (Events Director) Hi Everyone, My name is Austin and I am the Events Director at Robbers Cave. I received my degree in Hospitality Management from UNL and have worked with Yes Chef since graduation. Working as a Catering Manager brought me to Robbers Cave providing amazing customer service to the guests that come through this historical place. Moving from Catering Manager to Events Director gives me a great understanding of your event and all the little things that go along with it. I look forward to working with you and creating an amazing event big or small.
