Roche Harbor Resort is a scenic waterfront wedding venue located in Friday Harbor, WA. This historic Pacific Northwest venue is nestled along the sparkling blue marina of San Juan Island and is just a few hours from downtown Seattle. The quaint yet elegant resort offers first-class amenities and full-service packages that allow you to celebrate your momentous day in style. You are invited to visit and fall in love with the San Juans, from which the dazzling Cascade and Olympic Mountains are visible year-round. Roche Harbor Resort hosts one wedding a day, and you have your choice of the Sunken Garden or indoor historic Chapel. The Sunken Garden is a quaint flowering garden with neutral blooms and green foliage, nestled between the historic Hotel de Haro Hotel and bustling Marina. The historic Our Lady of Good Voyage Chapel is non-denominational and more than a century old and provides a covered option in case of inclement weather. This chapel is still used for services and can host 80 guests. The beautiful outdoor Courtyard is the perfect backdrop to greet your guests with a glass of champagne and colorful tray-passed appetizers for your cocktail hour. Enjoy the space throughout your event by the historic wood-burning outdoor fireplace. For your reception, up to 250 people can gather in the Pavilion for dinner and dancing. This pavilion features a cozy, wood-burning indoor fireplace, retractable glass doors, wood floors, and a custom-made bar. You can also throw a large outdoor party on the Seaside Lawn, where the island’s spectacular sunsets will paint the backdrop to the festivities. Available in July or August only, for 250+ guests. Comprehensive packages from Roche Harbor Resort are designed to ensure a seamless and stress-free wedding experience. These come with timeline & layout planning assistance, menu selection, set up and breakdown of venue spaces, and all staffing (wait staff, bartenders, chefs, and managers). A provided courtesy 2-night room block will give your guests the option to stay at the resort, and you won't be charged attrition for unused accommodations. Extensive, updated yearly menus that reflect the best flavors of the Salish Sea and the Pacific Northwest. These can include San Juan Island shellfish, locally-raised lamb, and local farm delicacies - your guests will be raving about the food!

Roche Harbor and their team were so amazing to work with, they made us feel like family and we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. They were always responsive, they helped us with anything we needed and worked well on the fly when we had to change plans due to weather. We would recommend Roche Harbor to anyone!

Roche is probably the best place in the WORLD to get married. There is room for so many people to stay on the property, it's stunning, so many activities to do, and the best planning team at Roche. We had a 170 person wedding, and they hosted us for a welcome dinner at Lime Kiln, a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Shipwreck Beach, the most stunning wedding at the Sunken Garden, Cocktail hour at the Courtyard, Reception in the Pavilion, and Farewell Brunch at McMillians. It was the best weekend of our lives, all our guests raved about how much they loved it (guests from 20+ states and countries traveled in), and said it felt like a vacation for them- which was our goal. I've been to 30+ weddings in my life, and I am so proud and honored to have had it at Roche. It is a special place, but the staff there makes it even better. BIG hugs to you all!

Thank you Roche Harbor for our AMAZING wedding weekend! It was truly so magical and prefect! Every staff member that was involved...from accommodations to transportation to cuisine, provided not only Don and I incredible service but our guests as well! Roche Harbor is truly the best venue to say \"I do\"! We chose to do our rehearsal /welcome dinner at Shipwreck Beach. It was a wonderful setting for our BBQ dinner and drinks. A beautiful view of the harbor as the sun set! This venue is perfect for an outdoor wedding. We had the ceremony in the sunken garden and from there it is a very short walk to the courtyard where cocktail hour took place. Our guests were served appetizers and beverages as they mingled with one another. The reception followed a few steps up into the pavilion. Upon entering, there was not a detail missed! This space was truly over the top with elegance and class!Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was, how incredible the staff was and what a sensational venue it was! We truly wish we could do it all over again just to experience the amazing event that the Roche Harbor wedding team produces!

I have wanted to get married at Roche Harbor since I was a little girl, and I am so glad I did.The location in and of itself is absolutely magical. We had the best time.From our first viewing appointment, Laura was wonderful. She gave us tons of ideas and useful information and we felt absolutely zero pressure from her to book a date.After booking, the entire events team was very helpful and on the ball, which I appreciated. They took the time to answer every little annoying bride question thoroughly and happily. They also always responded in a timely manner, which is so helpful for an overwhelmed bride. They also offered recommendations for other vendors which was super helpful. The entire planning process with them from the event spaces, to the room block, to the food and beverage service was very smooth and simple.Because they handle so much, I opted not to hire a wedding planner. At times it was a challenge for me, but it is totally doable if you are a hands on bride or have family and friends that are helpful. By the time my wedding came around, the events staff member I had been working with went on maternity leave, I do feel that a few small details were missed due to this, but nothing catastrophic. I have been through the maternity leave process myself, so I know how challenging it can be to get everything ready before you leave, and it’s really nothing that made for a bad experience.The team was super helpful the day before the wedding with our rehearsal and final planning meeting and left me feeling completely at ease going into the following day - which is saying a lot because I am a stress ball.The ceremony and cocktail hour ran perfectly smooth (again with no planner or day of coordinator). The servers made a point to bring my husband and I drinks and plates of appetizers, obviously knowing that it can be difficult for the bride and groom to find a second to eat and drink - this was a really nice touch.We opted for a plated salad and buffet style dinner. The food was amazing and all of the feedback we have received from our guests was great. As we know, our guests’ opinions of the food can make or break how we feel about our wedding.The bar manager was also great and super accommodating. We had a few odd requests and he rolled with them, with a smile on his face, when others in his position would have been annoyed.I also have to give a shout-out to the culinary team members who helped us store our cake. We had some random questions that were totally not even in their realm of expertise and they were happy to answer them and help us figure things out. A few small details to consider - Washington State is pretty strict with their food and liquor laws for event venues and Roche Harbor operates very much “by the book” (as they should). Due to this, you can be a little limited in some things (for example, no beer boys in lieu of flower girls, and no leftovers, which is a bummer because the food is delicious). There is also a mandatory 25% gratuity, which is a little high, and maybe it’s just the part of me that doesn’t like being told how to feel about something that reacted to this lol, but at the end of the day, the service was amazing, the events team was amazing, and I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else. Just like every other bride, it was my best day ever and totally worth every penny.

We are just over the moon with how amazing the wedding, rehearsal dinner, and overall experience with Roche was. We could not be happier and are so grateful to Stina and her whole team. Nothing went wrong, everyone was so incredible to work with, and very communicative. Roche is incredibly special and we knew this would be a dream wedding, but it was much much more. Words can't describe how magical it was. All our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding and most delicious wedding food they have ever had. We agree! The dungeness crab mac is fantastic- my uncle started clapping when the buffet curtains opened he was so excited! And our guests were all so happy that a conga line started at 7pm in broad daylight! Having our guests all staying in the same location was incredible. It is so special to go grab a cup of coffee on the docs in the morning and run into all your loved ones and catch up/laugh about the shenanigans the night before. We could not recommend Roche Harbor more and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

The venue for the wedding was absolutely stunning. The food was fabulous, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We opted for the Beach BBQ Rehearsal dinner and the Garden wedding with indoor dinner reception. I could not have hoped for more perfect events!

What an amazing venue and great staff! I couldn't recommend Roche Harbor more. We have been going to the resort for years and it is a very special place for our family. The wedding and reception were fantastic! Lots of great compliments on the food and service. I highly recommend a late May wedding. The entire garden is in full bloom and it isn't too hot! Thank you for everything!

What an amazing venue and great staff! I couldn't recommend Roche Harbor more. We have been going to the resort for years and it is a very special place for our family. Amazing. I could not have asked for a better wedding. They are team are veterans and know exactly what you need and how to make your wishes happen. The venue is amazing, the food is spectacular, and the planning team helps you remain as stress free as a bride can be. They help you with venders and make sure every detail is looked after.My only small negative is they turn up the lights and clear the tables during the last song of the night, at 11 on the dot. So be aware you are not getting any late party at the venue going. :) Though if you have people rent HighTide/LowTide there is a great roof top there to keep the (more quite) party going. Also tell your guest to book their rooms early because trust me, they sell out.I cannot recommend it enough, Roche Harbor is the spot to get married. It is beyond special and the team make it that way. We had our wedding at Roche Harbor at the end of September 2022, and it was absolutely amazing. We first discovered Roche Harbor when we ourselves were guests at a wedding, and a few years later, we decided to come back and get married there. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The team over there at Roche, from their events planning team, hotel staff, marina staff, people behind the scenes, and everyone in between were absolutely wonderful. They made sure we had the perfect day, were helpful, cheerful, on point, and always available. We'd highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting married there to give them a call and get it in the books.! I honestly don't think there's anything we'd change, and we're very thankful for everything they did for us! They have our highest recommendation, and we hope to celebrate many anniversaries for years to come up there at the resort! Roche Harbor is an idyllic setting for a wedding. We got married there on 10/1/2022 and it was truly PERFECT!! The weather was beautiful, 75 and sunny. The entire resort is so stunning and it provides a ton of locations for amazing wedding photos. Our vision was for an elegant wedding in a gorgeous setting that eventually turns into a dance party with all our favorite people. Roche Harbor delivered on that vision! The staff was incredible! We did not have a wedding planner. We put everything together on our own and with the help of Stina and all of the Roche Harbor event staff. They answered all of our questions leading up to our wedding day and were very responsive. The day of coordination with the on site event staff was incredible!! Our day of coordinator made sure we were taken care of all day long. I honestly can't say enough how remarkable Roche Harbor is!! It was a special place to us before our wedding and now it forever will be. We will absolutely be returning for future anniversaries. I highly recommend choosing Roche Harbor for your wedding!!!!

Getting married at Roche Harbor was a dream come true! We already loved Roche and getting married there was beyond special. The venue, grounds and overall atmosphere are stunning... especially at sunset! The planning staff: Stina, Laura and Ashley were great to work with. They were super responsive, organized and kind in fielding our million-and-one questions during the planning process. The food and service are beyond five-star!! Our guests are still talking about how delicious the appetizers and dinner were (we did the four course plated dinner with a duet of prime rib and salmon- highly recommend). We also did a rehearsal dinner at Shipwreck Beach and the BBQ buffet was a hit! The bar and serving staff were super friendly both nights. They took care to check in with myself and the groom to make sure we had what we needed, which was unexpected and delightful. Another huge bonus to our weekend was Roche's golf cart fleet and staff. We had some elderly guests and a bridesmaid with a broken leg. Being able to count on the transport was a game-changer for those guests who needed help navigating the grounds and also really fun for me and my bridesmaids on the day of the ceremony! Roche is an all around top-notch venue. We had a blast and would recommend getting married there to anyone who wants to get married in the beautiful San Juan Islands.

The team at Roche Harbor is unmatched - Stina, Laura and Ashley made our wedding a breeze to plan, a truly incredible feat for the logistics and details that it entails. Everything was thought of and planned to a T, so my husband and I were able to feel like guests at our own wedding. They communicated quickly and met every single question with patience and kindness, and partnered seamlessly with all of our vendors for a smooth experience overall. Roche is a stunning, classically Pacific Northwest venue that we were proud to host our wedding guests at, and the team took it above and beyond with professionalism. They're the best in the biz :) *A helpful tip we learned: Roche is a small resort and a wedding room block will fill up quickly, so be aware of that and have backup options to provide your guests with so everyone can be accommodated for.

The team at Roche Harbor is unmatched - Stina, Laura and Ashley made our wedding a breeze to plan, a truly incredible feat for the logistics and details that it entails. Everything was thought of and planned to a T, so my husband and I were able to feel like guests at our own wedding. They communicated quickly and met every single question with patience and kindness, and partnered seamlessly with all of our vendors for a smooth experience overall. Roche is a stunning, classically Pacific Northwest venue that we were proud to host our wedding guests at, and the team took it above and beyond with professionalism. They're the best in the biz :) *A helpful tip we learned: Roche is a small resort and a wedding room block will fill up quickly, so be aware of that and have backup options to provide your guests with so everyone can be accommodated for.

Roche Harbor is the most incredible place to have a wedding! We got married on July 17, 2022. The venue itself is undeniably gorgeous, but the team of people working to make your whole weekend special is what really made our experience wonderful. Stina, Ashley, Laura, and all the other wonderful people worked so hard with us all year to answer questions, make arrangements for things, and ensure that our day was the most relaxed and beautiful it could be. The rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner were absolutely gorgeous and the ceremony and reception were out of a movie. I, my groom, and our families and wedding party barely had to lift a finger all weekend, the RH team handles everything for you! This venue is so special and if you are able to get married here, DO IT! We wish we could relive this whole weekend over and over again!!!

The entire Wedding & Events team were extremely responsive, flexible and kind people to partner with over the last year! Whenever we had a question or idea to run by them, the Roche team was just a phone call or email away. They manage multiple weddings per week during the summer, but you would never notice because they made each couple feel special and were genuinely excited for our big day.

The only word to describe our July 29, 2021 wedding at Roche is PERFECT. Truly. Our small gathering of 35 friends and family members was absolutely the best. The Roche planning team was professional and organized- I didn’t ever worry about a single thing. The food was magnificent and the support in selecting excellent vendors for our photos, floral, minister, hair and makeup was spot on. We truly had the most magical stay and can’t wait to come visit next July. ❤️

In summary - I would rate Roche Harbor 5+ stars due to the breathtaking location, unbelievably accommodating and responsive wedding planning team, and their response to COVID-19 leading to the postponement of our wedding.In detail - we were supposed to be married at Roche Harbor in June 2019. As soon as the pandemic hit, the wedding planning team at Roche started reaching out. They kept us informed of state guidelines and they answered our (many) questions throughout the spring. Eventually - the team at Roche told us it would be in our best interest to postpone, and confirmed that we would not need to worry about deposits, and that they would handle moving previously-booked accommodations within the resort to a new wedding date. They gave us the available dates, allowed us to choose what worked best for our Summer 2021 schedules, and we were set. That easy!I have to think to myself - how many venues would do this?! They were advising us to postpone because they genuinely wanted us to have the best wedding and celebration possible, and knew that social distancing guidelines may have gotten in the way. They didn't know that events were going to be shut down entirely. They put the client ahead of the business and they made my fiancé and I feel valued.Throughout the wedding planning process, previous to the pandemic, the team was also incredible. If we had an idea for the wedding - they were there to support it and let us know how they could assist in making it a reality. Their job is essentially to make wedding dreams come true - and they do a very good job at that.The experience you will get at Roche Harbor is like none other, whether you are planning or attending a wedding, or just visiting for a weekend getaway. It is a charming, happy place. The people are genuine and kind, the food is world class (McMillans is our very favorite restaurant), the service is like none other, and the people - both the folks who work there and those visiting, are just plain happy to be there.We will now be married in June 2021. The team has stayed in contact with us and we always stop by to say hi when we visit San Juan Island. They connected us with all of our other vendors (photographer, officiant, rentals, cake, hair & makeup, etc.), who are also incredible and were unbelievably accommodating through the pandemic.We feel deeply grateful to Roche for their understanding and grace through the year 2020. We cannot wait to be married there in 2021 and will continue to visit for the rest of our lives.

We were frequent visitors of Roche Harbor and always thought of it as a great getaway destination. During one such visit, accompanied by our daughter and her boyfriend / future husband, we overheard them remark, “If we ever get married, we should do it here. This is such an awesome place!”We never dreamed it would be possible. But, the day came when we started looking at wedding venues. Everything else paled. Roche Harbor Resort was permanently etched in our minds. On a whim, we contacted Roach Harbor Weddings and they immediately sent a link to their wedding presentation site. There was even an open date on the calendar.Accommodating is an understatement. We set up an appointment to tour the facility with Jessica and invited our daughter and now fiancé to visit with us. Clearly Jessica loves her job and she gave us a great overview of the facility and how weddings worked at Roche Harbor. Over the course of the next couple months, we worked with Ashley and several other team members finalizing the wedding plans. In addition to the dreams of our daughter and her fiancé, and the fabulous customer service, a primary decision making consideration for us was the turnkey nature of Roche Harbor Weddings. It was one stop shopping for the venue, the accommodations and a venue coordinator. Beyond that, we only had to arrange for our own photographer, cake maker and floral arranger and officiant. It was easier having a destination wedding than it would have been having it in a more local venue where we would have had to arrange for nearly everything. Plus the team was fun to work with.

A winter wedding in Washington is possible!! Additional perk for most (if not all) of your guest accommodations is getting free upgrades to due the “slower season”. Sweet and intimate little white chapel is the perfect ceremony set up and very close to the reception area. Beautiful and useable outdoor courtyard with huge fireplace to keep toasty warm. Rainy weather? No problem! There’s a covered patio and another huge and toasty stone fireplace inside. Not to mention the most delicious food that will have your guests raving and wanting more. As with any wedding we had a few snags but nothing Stina and Laura couldn’t handle or smooth over, including hoping in as bar tender and waitstaff themselves. Throughout the planning process they were able to guide us to wonderful vendors and make sure all our needs were met and questions answered. Dream team!

Try a winter wedding! We just had our wedding yesterday and couldn’t be more happy with our decision. It was incredibly intimate, the staff wasn’t overwhelmed with guests so we felt like we were a priority, and the weather was nearly perfect! Laura and Stina were absolutely fantastic coordinators and helped guide us through every stage of the wedding. The resort was very specific before we hired them that they would work with third party coordinators if chosen, but we felt as though we didn’t need one (it wouldn’t have been worth the cost considering what Laura and Stina provided). The food... oh the food. It was some of the best food we’ve ever had. Every single guest was (is) raving about how good the menu was. We are so grateful for the chefs and their staff. The fireplaces were lit and kept everyone nice and warm. They also made for some beautiful photos (go check out Stefan & Audrey.. they were amazing). The venue also had lit propane heaters outside for those who wanted to sit outside. The price for a winter wedding could NOT be beat. The venue fees are incredibly low and the off season pricing around the Island made this wedding perfect. We could not be more happy.

We had our wedding in March of 2019 and I only WISH we could live that weekend forever!! Roche Harbor is the MOST magical place!! From the minute we stepped foot into the resort we were greeted with kindness and genuine excitement from all of the staff. I don't even know where to begin, it was all so amazing - our rooms came not only with a beautiful view, but were gorgeous, clean and had a thoughtful little note it's the little touches that make the biggest differences!The entire crew pitched in to make our ceremony extra special and our guests are STILL raving about the food - the kitchen staff KILLED IT!! For dinner we chose to do heavy appetizers and delicious food stations - I'll never stop drooling over that seafood!! Oh and those corndogs?!? Delightful!Chris and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding weekend, with a better crew of people and recommend them to EVERYONE!! We can't wait to go back for every anniversary!

Our experience here was lovely! They were very accommodating to meet our needs. The menu was tailored to meet gluten free, soy free, dairy free, and aspartame free dietary requirements. And with these changes the food was still AMAZING! They lowered their minimum guest count for us because it was the off season. They accommodated an outdoor movie for us at Shipwreck beach and had staff on hand to help out the entire wedding day. Everything you could possibly need for your wedding day is provided here (with the exception of florals/an arbor). They certainly strived to make our wedding day how we wanted it and they succeeded! Would highly recommend for a wedding or other event venue! Our families loved it and we had a wonderful time staying at the resort with our family for three additional days as well! Certainly wonderful memories. Thank you Roche Harbor Resort staff!!

They also have a great list of vendors they regularly work with who know the space, but are able to make the wedding unique to us. Choose Roche Harbor!!! Just not on our anniversary weekend, as we want to have the best choice of rooms to choose from.

Roche Harbor knows how to throw one heck of a wedding! As the Mother-of-the-Bride, THANK YOU Roche Harbor for catering our extraordinary wedding reception. The night was seamless. To us it was nothing short of perfection and we enjoyed every moment of it. The FOOD was beautiful, so wonderfully prepared and presented. Everyone commented on how much they loved all of it. The stations made it so guests could serve themselves when and how much they wanted and that was the perfect approach for the casual style of dining we wanted. Roche Harbor staff was professional and courteous, and carried out the event in style.Chef Bill put together the most creative and fabulous tasting menu. The food stations were well organized and beautifully set up. Everyone raved about the food. The planners Laura and Alyssa were extremely organized and attentive to detail from day one until the end of the reception. They made it so we did not have to worry about a thing at the reception.My only regret is that I was so busy with Mother of the Bride and hosting that I did not get to return to the food stations enough!

Roche is such a beautiful place, you could do nothing and your wedding would still be incredibly beautiful. My only suggestion is to think about hiring a day of coordinator as we struggled a little bit with communication with the resort event coordinators on the wedding day.

We chose Roche Harbor because we loved the idea of having all of our family and friends in the San Juan Islands for a weekend. We were won over by Allie and Jereny during our site visit who were both very friendly and professional. They have a program designed from experience to guide couples through the planning process that we were really impressed with. The venue photographed beautifully; there are so many options (beach, dock, monuments, fields etc) and all are stunning. We chose the buffet dinner package and the food was both beautifully displayed and delicious, our friends still rave about the salmon and the gnocchi; we wish we went through the line more than once! There are a variety of accommodations and all of our guests really enjoyed their stay. I can’t say enough good things about the local vendors I hired; both Leah from Bloom San Juan and DJ Doug went above and beyond to make our day the best it could be. We're really grateful to Jessica from planning for all her help pre-wedding as well as Alyssa from the events team who helped us with a post wedding issue. My only regret about the experience was not hiring a separate day of coordinator. I had initially hired one but was told I really didn't need one unless I had DIY decorations (I didn't). Shortly after booking, the planning team changed. Over the next few months I had the pleasure of meeting several times with Jessica who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I vaguely knew there was another individual on the team, but my only interactions with her were a few awkward phone calls and emails where communication seemed difficult. Arranging the seating chart over email with this individual was particularly frustrating and was the most unpleasant part of the planning process. A few weeks before my wedding, I saw on a document that this person was the \"planner\" assigned to my wedding. I called to express my concern that it wasn't a good fit but was reassured that there would be others involved to make sure everything went okay. The day before the wedding, our \"planner\" was not present at the final details meeting. We didn't actually meet her in person until the rehearsal; where she failed to bring any of the materials they had me fill out regarding procession order etc. The day of the wedding was chaotic. The planner was not present for the entire day. The crew of guys setting up were running late and had no idea I had ordered linens and chargers from BBJ. My florist went above and beyond and saved our day by organizing the crew, laying out linens, placing table numbers and finishing the table layouts because it was too late for myself or the bridal party to help. There was paraphernalia from the previous wedding that was left in the garden and entryway (that made it in our photos), there was no microphone set up as planned and my fiancé had to personally set one up minutes before the ceremony. At the reception; the layout was not correct and our chargers were never placed. Although these are all small things, it really showed a lack of interest and attention to detail from our venue planner that was disappointing and hurtful. Maybe I misunderstood her role, but it would have saved us a lot of day-of stress if she had supervised the venue setup or even checked in with us once during the day to see how things were going. This was a stark contrast to the otherwise exceptional service we got from Roche Harbor, unfortunately it was when we really needed it.

We are so happy we chose Roche Harbor for our special day! We looked at a few different venues on the San Juan Islands and ultimately nothing even came close to Roche Harbor. This was the most beautiful place I’ve been. Everyone I came in contact with was super kind and went above and beyond. The hotel was adorable. The food was amazing wherever I went. The views were spectacular and breathtaking. One day When I was out walking the island we came upon this distillery tucked back off the road. We stopped and enjoyed some samples. This place was by far the best place ever from the hotel to the views the wonderful food kind people just everything. I will hopefully get to go back one day!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! This place is our home away from home! From the beginning on the tour with event planners , right down to the end of my reception was PERFECT! The ladies were on top of everything every step of the way! We were in constant contact throughout the whole process! My wedding day was super fabulous! The ladies even ran for super glue and brought food to my suite. They also ran for tide pens, and got mud out of my dress after my pics so I didn’t walk down the aisle a muddy mess! The ceremony went perfect. The reception was fabulous! Every one of my guests raved about how great the food was! They definitely were on top of every last little detail! The lodging staff was also phenomenal I had to change several reservations and they accommodated every single one with a smile! It’s hard to plan a wedding from a far to begin with, but they made it stress free and fun! I’m so glad we chose Roche Harbor for our special day! They will be with you from the very beginning to the very end with impeccable service! Thank you so much to Tyla for dealing with all my questions and stressful moments. Without her I would have lost my mind! She’s the best! Also Laura, Jessica, Jerry, and Michael!! Thank you !

She helped a panicking bride come up with the perfect backup plan and really calmed my nerves. It all came together so beautifully. The food was delicious and unforgettable! As a long time employee of Roche Harbor myself, I had the luxury of knowing there was no one better or well-suited to take care of my special day. The people that I have witnessed regularly take care of brides, grooms and their families go above and beyond any normal expectations for a wedding. They are hard working individuals that will make sure your day is the best it can be. Along with this, Roche Harbor is a beautiful setting and back drop with literally everything you'd need conveniently within walking distance. There are smiling and helpful faces every step of the way. I wouldn't trust any other venue to take care of me and my family as well as Roche Harbor is capable of doing.

As a long time employee of Roche Harbor myself, I had the luxury of knowing there was no one better or well-suited to take care of my special day. The people that I have witnessed regularly take care of brides, grooms and their families go above and beyond any normal expectations for a wedding. They are hard working individuals that will make sure your day is the best it can be. Along with this, Roche Harbor is a beautiful setting and back drop with literally everything you'd need conveniently within walking distance. There are smiling and helpful faces every step of the way. I wouldn't trust any other venue to take care of me and my family as well as Roche Harbor is capable of doing.

The island has a tight knit community, so in our case most of our vendors knew each other well and had worked together frequently, which was comforting as I planned our day from Seattle. And the food, you just can't beat it! After all the hard work that you will put into planning your day, you really want a team that will help bring it all together for you on the day of so you can really just enjoy it, and Roche Harbor without a doubt is that team!

Wow! I cannot say enough amazing things about having our wedding here. The events team truly makes having a \"destination wedding\" as smooth as possible. If I had any planning questions, the team would email me back within 24 hours. The venue is gorgeous--you just can't beat sunset in the San Juans. The food is also catered completely in-house and is amazing. We had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they had been to, and we can honestly say that this is in large part due to the Roche Harbor Events team. The day was executed perfectly and they were SO accommodating when I went back and forth five times on our seating chart. I would highly recommend--you will not be disappointed! Special shoutout to Tyla, our amazing coordinator who helped the day go off without a hitch. :)

We could not have found a more magical venue for our summer wedding! Allie, Jereny, and the rest of the team were truly top notch. They made sure that not only my husband and I were taken care of, but all of our family and friends as well. We had our rehearsal dinner at Shipwreck Beach and invited all of our guests to join us for drinks and s’mores on the beach. It was such a fun experience! On the day of our wedding, Laura made sure that every little detail was not overlooked- she even made sure that we ate (the food was seriously AMAZING) and she never let my wine glass get empty! I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and our experience at RH Resort. Thank you for making our wedding the best day ever!

The entire planning process was incredibly smooth and organized. Throughout our year of planning we received updates and e-mails that helped us to stay on track with everything that needed to be done. We made a couple trips up to Roche Harbor to meet with Allie and each time was so fun (plus you get half price stays if you are planning your wedding there). The day before the wedding the whole team met with us before the rehearsal dinner and walked us through how everything would work the next day and made sure they had every detail correct for the day. The day of our wedding I had nothing to worry about! When I walked into the space I was amazed at how great it looked and ALL of our guests raved about the food. One thing I was worried about was that we didn't get to taste the menu before making our selections but every single item that was served was delicious! My family is still talking about the food. Allie and her team were truly amazing every step of the way! Allie even saved the day at the end of the night when I didn't have my id to get into the bar after the wedding and the doorman wouldn't let me in. She just appeared out of nowhere, got me in, and gave us a couple free drinks :). It was truly the perfect day thanks to the Roche Harbor team. We can't wait to be back in May to celebrate our anniversary!

Roche Harbor Resort has it all!! Our wedding was so enchanting from beginning to end. It is truly a piece of heaven on earth! There is something to be said about destination weddings and the beauty of the location along with the availability of a ceremony and reception in the same magical place. That was Roche Harbor!Shipwreck Beach was the perfect spot for our Rehearsal Dinner from cocktails on the shore to the bonfire under the stars. The BBQ was delicious.Our Lady of Good Voyage Chapel provided a very special and most intimate setting for a beautiful ceremony. After the ceremony it was an easy, short walk to the courtyard and pavilion which were magnificent with the large fireplaces and stunning crystal chandeliers. The food was absolutely outstanding from Prime Rib to the biggest shrimp I have ever seen! The service was exceptional as well! Working with the Events Team was a joy. The wedding was truly a dream come true.

There are not enough words to express how spectacular our wedding was! We got married on October 2nd and had the most perfect fall weather. Roche Harbor is quite beautiful rain or shine but we really lucked out with the absolute perfect fall day. We originally decided to check out the venue because we wanted to take advantage of a short weekend getaway. From the moment we got on the ferry in Anacorets I instantly became relaxed as we sailed through the beautiful scenery. Roche harbor has such a unique vibe that fit perfectly with the personality of myself and my husband. Once we found the price was in our budget it was a very easy choice. Everyone we worked with was professional and friendly. Allie helped answer all my questions throughout the entire planning process. I haven't been to many weddings before and wasn't sure how a lot of things were supposed to work. I asked Allie all kinds of questions, some of which had nothing to do with Roche Harbor. She responded quickly and never made me feel like I had any stupid questions. The day of the wedding everything went flawlessly. If there were any hiccups in the day we would have never known. Our guests all had a great time and loved the venue. The food was amazing! We had so many comments about how our food was the best wedding meal anyone has ever had! It was Delicious. We had a smaller wedding of 50 guests. It was the perfect amount for us. We had our ceremony in the garden. It was spectacular. There are many very beautiful places around the hotel and they provide golf carts to drive you around the property. This was especially awesome for our pictures. We were able to get pictures in a lot of different places because of our golf cart chauffeurs, who were also very nice. I highly recommend using the spa for your bridal make up! It was so easy and stress free. They really know what they are doing. I also had the best massage of my entire life in the afterglow spa. All in all I would chose Roche Harbor again and again. We cannot wait to go back for our one year anniversary and re-live our memories. It was an unforgettable day.

Roche Harbor is a dream venue! We could not be happier with our experience at Roche, and you cannot beat the beautiful harbor views, manicured gardens and comfortable accommodations. Allie was very easy to work with and coordinated very well with our vendor team. We were also very happy and surprised to find that the estimated budgets that Allie prepared for us were extremely close to our final amount we actually spent! Such a relief! After our wedding we had nothing but positive feedback from our guests - the food was fantastic, the staff went above and beyond, the venue was gorgeous, and the condos/houses/hotel were all very comfortable. Overall, we highly recommend Roche Harbor and can't wait to visit again in the future!

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Roche Harbor, Allie McMillan, Jereny Nash, and the entire Roche Harbor team. The first time my husband and I visited RH was the weekend we booked it for our wedding venue - we immediately fell in love with the charm of the resort, the ability to come back year after year for anniversaries, and the beauty of San Juan Island. However, it was the friendliness of the staff that kept us coming back for more \"planning visits\" than we expected. The resort is beautiful, there is no denying that, but the people are truly what make that place spectacular. Allie was our coordinator - her and her team were constantly on top of everything, all details, timelines, planning, etc. I never felt like there was something missing, and honestly didn't experience much of the stress most brides talk about. She was extremely flexible and willing to work with us if we wanted to change something last minute, or were indecisive about small details. She is every bride's dream. Jereny was our travel coordinator. Both families and most friends were traveling from all over the country to attend our wedding - a travel coordinator was incredibly helpful. Most of our family members had never taken a ferry before, so the idea of flying into Seattle, getting to Anacortes, and taking a ferry to the islands was very intimidating. Jereny helped ease all of their stress, present them with the best travel options to get here, and then give them suggestions on what to do once they were here. If Allie is a bride's dream, Jereny is every bride's family's dream. The day-of team also deserves a big recognition. Tyla, Laura, and Landon worked their magic to make sure everything we put together with Allie ran seamlessly on the day of. They had everything set perfectly so my husband and I didn't even have to give it a second thought. They made sure our ceremony was on time, everyone was where they needed to be, and people outside of the wedding looking in were quiet and respectful. Through the night, everything ran like clockwork - dinner, dancing, the Colors ceremony - we were in such good hands from beginning to end. My overall experience here was just incredible. I couldn't have dreamed of a better, easier, more beautiful, stress free wedding, and it was all possible because of this venue. The vendors we chose had all worked with each other and RH before, so it felt so turnkey for us. They have such a high level of professionalism that showed in everything they did. From the weekend we booked, to the week of our wedding, they always made us feel like family there. When we checked in for wedding week, everyone at the resort made it a point to stop by and say hi and congratulations to us. They made our wedding completely unforgettable, and I whole-heartedly believe this is an experience you couldn't get anywhere else.

I can't speak more highly about Allie and the team at Roche Harbor. Not only is it a beautiful place for a Pacific Northwest wedding, but every single person on the staff went out of their way to make our wedding planning process easy, and take care of all of the little details that made our day perfect. So many of the decisions (hotel rooms, day-of schedule, activities for guests to do during the day, food, beverages, decorations - you name it) are a piece of cake - many of the staff have seen 100s of weddings at Roche Harbor and they make it so easy to plan. Having said that, on the weekend of our wedding, we were priority number 1 to the staff. The venue was lovely and elegant, the food was delicious and all of the little details (including a golf cart to drive me - the Bride - to the ceremony so I could stay hidden) were taken care of. If I could throw myself another wedding I would do it all over again at Roche.

There aren't enough words to describe the experience of a Roche Harbor Resort wedding! We had an incredible experience planning our special day with the knowledgeable and experienced staff. From the site tour to the actual day, we were in awe of the level of detail and care. As the bride, it was such a relief to have a wonderful team to help plan a weekend full of festivities. Alyssa, Allie, Jereny, Jennifer, and all of the RH team made every effort to make our experience special. But what makes us truly thrilled we had a Roche Harbor wedding is that even six months later our guests continue to rave about the beauty of the resort and event locations, the cleanliness and comfort of the various accommodations (we've been asked where they can buy the mattresses), the abundance of amenities and activities on-site, the kind and helpful staff, the FOOD (phenomenal), the talented vendors that work with RH (some even give discounts to RH couples!) and the overall experience from the Welcome BBQ at Shipwreck beach to the last minute change from a Garden wedding to a Chapel wedding...which was better than we ever could've imagined! Our guests fell in love with Roche Harbor just like we did and just like we had hoped they would! It was a weekend many people will remember forever, it was an experience.

Roche Harbor was always my 'dream wedding location' ever since I was little. I knew it was a special and beautiful place, but it was the people and the service that really blew me away. From a planning perspective, it could not have been easier. The coordinators (one for the wedding day and one for accommodations) were wonderful to work with - very professional, timely, and hands on. The event coordinator was extremely knowledgeable in the venue, the planning process, and the random questions I would come up with. Roche also provided a list of preferred vendors, which we didn't have to use, but we did, as they were local and came with great recommendations from Roche. Each vendor was very familiar with Roche, which made the whole day flow seamlessly. Roche is one of the best places on Earth and we couldn't wait to share that with all of our friends and family. I was so happy to hear that they all had wonderful experiences as well. The staff was so helpful and friendly to EVERYONE - not just the wedding party. It made the whole experience even better to know that our guests were having such a great time as well.It was stress-free, problem-free and the best weekend of our lives. If I could give them 5 more stars, I would!

Roche Harbor is an incredible wedding venue. If you're looking for a Northwest waterfront destination wedding, this is your spot. My husband is a Seattle native and I hail from Rhode Island so it was important to us when selecting a venue that guests could end their travels in one place and walk everywhere for the remainder of the weekend. (Be prepared for lots of family travel questions but everyone agreed the haul was well worth it!) Our wedding was the first time the two families met so it was also important that we have activities to do together and several places to gather as a group. We held a Welcome BBQ at one the cottages on our first night, enjoyed a whale watch tour the following morning and hosted everyone for a Shipwreck Beach dinner after our rehearsal. And then there's the wedding day! I gotta say, our floral bill was pretty minimal because the natural beauty of the Roche Harbor grounds speaks for itself. There's no shortage of amazing photo opportunities around the resort. (Not to mention the rest of the island!)The Roche Harbor team was attentive, flexible and a pleasure to work with. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. And when you're through, you have a fantastic built-in anniversary getaway to look forward to for years to come!

Naturally when my husband asked me to marry him, we both thought about Roche Harbor s the place to say I do. It's impossible to turn that offer down.\r\rWhen we booked our wedding, we were immediately put at ease that Allie would be handling our ceremony and reception reservation. The communication was fantastic. The whole team goes above and beyond to make sure that everything you envision for your big day happens. We had the whole team working overtime to shuttle around our kids, and our guests and they did so with a smile and a great attitude. With some last minute changes to the rehearsal and the final meeting there as a bit of stress, but the team handled it and made me feel like I was respected and appreciated.\r\rCheryl is amazing. She handled all the day of things. She walked us through the rehearsal, she helped us set up the ceremony and where everyone would be standing and she took everything that we threw at her with stride. I was immediately at ease knowing that the most important day of our life was in her hands. There is not a thing I would change involving the reception and the ceremony. Even the smallest detail was taken care of flawlessly. This was an affordable and breathtaking venue, you will not regret your choice to let Roche Harbor host your big day.\r

We snagged one of the last available Saturdays for 2015, and had a gorgeous and very memorable, mini-destination wedding out at Roche Harbor! \r\rFrom day one when I reached out about the availability with the venue, I had every question answered. We were even invited out for a complimentary stay to further explore hosting our big day there -- And that pretty much sealed the deal! Once we booked, we were walked through every step of the planning process with Allie, the Events Manager. I emailed her so much, and always received prompt replies and wedding planning advice that I was definitely looking for. Alyssa and Jereny were there for us and our guests when it came to getting all the lodging squared away. They even delivered personalized welcome bags to each room just before our guests checked in. The day before the wedding, we had Jessica, the Event Coordinator run through everything with us in a meeting, our schedule of events was finalized and the staff made it all happen from there. I am making my review mostly about just that-- the staff!! They were absolutely wonderful to work with. Any little thing we needed or asked for, done! Slava, the gentleman setting up our reception space had tables and linens in place before we expected, so we were setting up early. So helpful! And whatever we needed in that process, he had it for us, whether it was an extra table for the florist to work at, Windex and a towel to polish our vases, or access to the sound system so that we had music while settling up. The front desk arranged vans and golf carts to get our wedding party and family to our pictures location. Once my groom and I arrived at the reception, Jenn, the Banquet Manager quickly introduced herself, and let us know she was there to make sure the entire dinner hour and celebration went smoothly. She was there if we needed anything, but we didn't need anything, because everything was taken care of. We snagged one of the last available Saturdays for 2015, and had a gorgeous and very memorable, mini-destination wedding out at Roche Harbor! \r\rFrom day one when I reached out about the availability with the venue, I had every question answered. We were even invited out for a complimentary stay to further explore hosting our big day there -- And that pretty much sealed the deal! Once we booked, we were walked through every step of the planning process with Allie, the Events Manager. I emailed her so much, and always received prompt replies and wedding planning advice that I was definitely looking for. Alyssa and Jereny were there for us and our guests when it came to getting all the lodging squared away. They even delivered personalized welcome bags to each room just before our guests checked in. The day before the wedding, we had Jessica, the Event Coordinator run through everything with us in a meeting, our schedule of events was finalized and the staff made it all happen from there. I am making my review mostly about just that-- the staff!! They were absolutely wonderful to work with. Any little thing we needed or asked for, done! Slava, the gentleman setting up our reception space had tables and linens in place before we expected, so we were setting up early. So helpful! And whatever we needed in that process, he had it for us, whether it was an extra table for the florist to work at, Windex and a towel to polish our vases, or access to the sound system so that we had music while settling up. The front desk arranged vans and golf carts to get our wedding party and family to our pictures location. Once my groom and I arrived at the reception, Jenn, the Banquet Manager quickly introduced herself, and let us know she was there to make sure the entire dinner hour and celebration went smoothly. She was there if we needed anything, but we didn't need anything, because everything was taken care of. Meghan and I loved our wedding at Roche Harbor and would absolutely get married there again in a heartbeat. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, and felt like the perfect getaway location (only 2 hours north of Seattle) for our wedding weekend! The food at the wedding was absolutely phenomenal as well! Roche Harbor resort is a magical location for a destination wedding. There is something there for everyone and still small enough to feel like a private event. \r Our wedding was 75 people in July. We were married in the garden and it couldn't be more beautiful. I used all local vendors where I could to support local business and make it easier since its a ferry ride away. \rAll staff members were very helpful in making the whole weekend enjoyable. I rented linens and table center piece decorations. The only thing I wish was that they provided the clean up of these items for us. No one wants to have to stay at the end of a very long day to clean up our stuff- everyone was exhausted. They could have very easily put these things in a corner of the room for us to get the next morning.\rWhen you spend close to $60,000 for a wedding you would like them to do that for you.\r\rWe created a custom menu from the buffet menu. It was amazing!!!! Everyone commented on the food and how good it was. Highly recommend the Risotto- it was the hit of the night.\r\rWe also did a welcome dinner the night before down at Shipwreck beach. Again- great food and fun environment. Unfortunately for us it was raining really hard and cold but because there was a burn ban in effect we couldn't use the fire pits. They did everything they could by bringing in Heat lamps. People left earlier than they would have had the weather been better.\r\rMost of our guests stayed in the resort but they limit the number of rooms you can book based on the size of your guest list so we had guests who had to stay off site which was very disappointing. \r\rThe hardest part of having a wedding here is the Ferry System- you have to be very diligent with your guests to get their reservations. There are several opportunities for them to do so but I can't stress enough to make them aware of the release dates. I made several extra reservations and I am so glad I did as it helped with those less responsible. It was really the only stressful part of the whole wedding.\r\rIf your budget allows this is one of the most beautiful places you could ever have your wedding. Everyone had a great time and loved the resort. It was the wedding of my dreams. \r\r

Our wedding at Roche Harbor was truly out of a movie. Many of our guest commented that the venue was straight out of a movie set because of how beautiful it is there. Our families have even told us they want to go back and just eat wedding food they enjoyed the food so much. We look forward to going back to Roche for many important events in our life.

My husband and I got married at Roche Harbor labor day weekend, 2015 and could not have been happier with our decision. My husband originally found this place in fall of 2014, which I immediately dismissed because I thought it looked too expensive and far away. We had just moved to Seattle from Chicago, and wanted the experience to be easy and fun for our Midwestern guests. After booking it, the staff was very buttoned up throughout the entire planning process... even my extremely organized, party-planning mother was impressed. They sent us check lists and reminded of us things we needed to do to ensure our day ran smoothly. It was great that they take care of all of the catering (so yummy!) and have wonderful partner recommendations that complimented our own research. We ended up using Integral DJs for music, Harold Belskus for spanish guitar cocktail hour, Kaleb Norman James for event coordination + decor/floral, and Mitch Mattraw for videography. Roche Harbor's staff is responsive, helpful and so professional and worked with our vendors and all of our wishes beautifully. Our family and friends felt right at home and are still talking about this quintessential Pacific Northwest experience. We can't wait to celebrate our anniversary there and reminisce over the great times for years to come! Thank you, Roche Harbor!

We had a small wedding (60 guests) at Roche Harbor Resort in August 2015 and everything about our experience exceeded my expectations. I had dreamed of an outdoor garden wedding and that is exactly what we had. We got married in the sunken garden and had the cocktail hour and dinner in the Pavilion. You can't find a better setting in the Puget Sound or San Juans. We got married in the sunken garden, surrounded by flowers and greenery and a view of the marina and water as the backdrop.The Pavilion includes an outdoor area with stone fireplace, lounge chairs and cocktail tables and the indoor dining room has large open windows that look out onto the marina. The venue and gardens are beautiful in the summer. There is an onsite Spa, restaurants, outdoor activities and lodging for all your guests. The food during the happy hour and reception was excellent (most wedding food is mediocre) and the service was outstanding. The staff goes out of their way to anticipate your needs, make your day extra special and stress free. They're very professional, organized, genuine, and friendly. We were trying to have a budget wedding so our costs were for the venue and food, we didn't include any other expenses (wedding planner, decor, florist, photograher, DJ), and I don't regret this decision. All of these extra expenses seem superfluous when you're in a beautiful location with all your friends and family. I felt like the customer service and quality that Roche provided was a great value for our money and can't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. We look forward to visiting Roche Harbor every year to celebrate our anniversaries to come!

I got married at Roche Harbor in August 2014. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited! My husband and I needed a venue that offered accommodations as most of our guest list was traveling all the way from England. Not only does RH offer places to stay, they have an array of options so friends/family could share a condo, cottage, townhouse, etc. according to their budget. And there is so much to do on the resort, we didn't worry about having to entertain our guests every second of our wedding weekend. We got married in the Sunken Garden but there are several other options for the ceremony: the beach, the chapel, etc. Having all these options in one location is what really drew us to RH in the first place! The food was amazing - we held our rehearsal dinner at Shipwreck Beach and still to this day have people tell us the food was some of the best they've ever had (especially the ribs!!!) Another thing that made our wedding so stress free was the amazing staff at RH. We had one person totally in charge of accommodations for our guests and another person totally in charge of the wedding/reception. We felt like we had to do very little planning ourselves! We visited RH quite a few times before our actual wedding date. Each time we did, we were welcomed by all the staff who knew us by name as upcoming newlyweds - we felt like VIPs! All in all I would highly recommend Roche Harbor to anyone wanting a beautiful PNW location for their wedding. If I could go back and do it all again I wouldn't change a thing!

I got married at Roche Harbor in August 2014. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited! My husband and I needed a venue that offered accommodations as most of our guest list was traveling all the way from England. Not only does RH offer places to stay, they have an array of options so friends/family could share a condo, cottage, townhouse, etc. according to their budget. And there is so much to do on the resort, we didn't worry about having to entertain our guests every second of our wedding weekend. We got married in the Sunken Garden but there are several other options for the ceremony: the beach, the chapel, etc. Having all these options in one location is what really drew us to RH in the first place! The food was amazing - we held our rehearsal dinner at Shipwreck Beach and still to this day have people tell us the food was some of the best they've ever had (especially the ribs!!!) Another thing that made our wedding so stress free was the amazing staff at RH. We had one person totally in charge of accommodations for our guests and another person totally in charge of the wedding/reception. We felt like we had to do very little planning ourselves! I can't possibly say enough amazing things about the venue, staff and experience we had at Roche Harbor. Living in Las Vegas, we relied heavily on the staff at Roche Harbor to communicate timelines, options and everything else that comes along with planning a wedding. From my first inquiry email to the day after the wedding, I felt like I was speaking with friends. They were informative, personable yet professional and very responsive. \r\rThe venue itself is amazing - picturesque, intimate and very unique. To this day (more than 2 years later) I still get comments from friends and family that the location, venue and overall experience was so memorable and special. \r\rWe were given the tools to personalize our cocktail hour and reception so it reflected who we are as a couple. We were never pressured into making \"cookie cutter\" decisions, and never felt like we were 'just another couple'. \r\rAllison and Alyssa are phenomenal, and I am so fortunate to have been in their very capable hands throughout the wedding process. \r

The food was AMAZING! I loved that when we visited Roche before we decided on a venue that we were treated to a dinner that had a tasting of the food and drink options. We felt everything was reasonably priced and was just so PNW! So our family and friends from out of town got a taste of the amazing food we have at our fingertips. All our guests asked us to have our wedding again in a year with the same food and drinks!

The food was AMAZING! I loved that when we visited Roche before we decided on a venue that we were treated to a dinner that had a tasting of the food and drink options. We felt everything was reasonably priced and was just so PNW! So our family and friends from out of town got a taste of the amazing food we have at our fingertips. All our guests asked us to have our wedding again in a year with the same food and drinks!

The Roche Harbor Resort was amazing from planning to the actual wedding day. Because the venue is across the water, the resort has a list of vendors near the resort that are amazing as well. The wedding has it's own spa and make-up area for the bride and guests. My make-up for wedding day was included in my venue fee. I loved the chapel with the water view and had my dream wedding. The resort worked with us and we never felt ignored. It was an amazing, magical day. The entire resort seems unreal!!

The Roche Harbor Resort was amazing from planning to the actual wedding day. Because the venue is across the water, the resort has a list of vendors near the resort that are amazing as well. My husband and I were set on a smaller wedding (just over 30 guests) and we really wanted our east coast friends to be able to experience some of the best nature, views and food from my home state. We were on a budget that was significantly smaller than the average for Roche Harbor and we had a mid-winter wedding, but all of the staff was amazing about working with our wants and budget. Everyone who attended the wedding stayed on site as well, and the condos and village homes were fantastic. Also, the consensus from all of the guests I talked to afterward was that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. \r\rOne more thing - the resort grounds have so many amazing places to take wedding pictures. One of the nice extras provided by the resort was that a van and driver will take the wedding party around the trails at the resort to get pictures wherever you want. \r\rOverall, I just don't have any complaints. It was a perfect wedding weekend. I think that a few of my friends who were there are even set on getting married at Roche Harbor now too.

Living in London, we weren’t able to visit Roche Harbor before booking our wedding this summer, but it was the best decision we could have made! The team is absolutely professional. They are a wedding factory, which is what you need because every member of staff knows exactly what they are doing!\r\rOur two biggest needs were \r1. Gorgeous space \r2. Fabulous food \rand Roche Harbor absolutely nailed in on both counts. My chef groom, Italian in-laws and foodie father was absolutely impressed. \r\rEvery member of staff put in the extra effort to make our wedding fabulous, from a complimentary pre-event visit for the bride and groom, to the catering manager who brought us a little extra (ever tried a Reese's s'more?). \r\rWe had our rehearsal dinner as a BBQ on Shipwreck Beach with fireside s'mores. I HIGHLY recommend this option! It was a highlight of the weekend!\r\rI was nervous about not having many options for hair/make-up but Afterglow Spa was great and we were all really happy with our looks. \r\rMake sure you budget in bringing in lots of vendors from off the island - you may need to provide them accommodation! We brought in our planner, photographers, florist and cake. It was all absolutely worth it.\r\rRoche Harbor was such an amazing venue. I really can't recommend it enough!
