Carrie and Chris Gibilisco(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-10-2021 How can you ever top a wedding at the most iconic location in the city? From the moment we met Mike Detling, we knew we were in good hands. From day one through the actual day, he was helpful and very responsive to all of our questions. He even helped us select our DJ, because it was someone he'd worked closely with for other events. The day couldn't have gone better and we are ecstatic our new life started with the best day ever. Kristen Hoover(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-10-2021 The Rock Hall was a fantastic venue. From the beginning they were incredibly easy to work with and very responsive when we had questions. With catering built into the venue it saved us a step in planning and the food was delicious. They also helped us find our band. The team was great during the weekend of making sure things ran smoothly. Our guests had such a wonderful time and keep telling us our wedding was awesome, part wedding, part private access to the Rock Hall, and part concert! We would highly recommend the Rock Hall!! Alyssa Amyot(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-09-2021 Wow! If you are looking for a unique event space that will keep your guests entertained all night, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is it. We enjoyed a beautiful private outdoor cocktail hour on the plaza before heading inside to have a delicious dinner. Our guests were even able to tour the museum after eating. The lighting, sound, and stage made our wedding feel like we were at a rock concert, and the party kept going to the last minute. Mike and Amanda made the whole event planning process so easy, I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything at all. And the staff members working the event were all so pleasant and helpful! We had so much fun, my parents even want my younger sister to have her wedding at the Rock Hall, too. This was the party of a lifetime! Reviewed on 12-09-2021
Laura Cafasso(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-10-2018 Having our wedding at RRHOF was wonderful. My husband and I live in NJ where most of my family is from, and his family was closer to Chicago. So it was important we found a really impressive mid-way point. We are both fans of music from so many genres and are big appreciators of fine architecture. So RRHOF fits the bill. We had been to the museum previously, before being engaged, and thought it would be an amazing place for an event. It really is a beautiful and unique venue. Completely being on brand for the type of individuals my husband and myself are.The venue was recently renovated right before the wedding so everything really popped. The bridge in front of the Rock Experience during cocktail hour was really impressive. All our guests who made it to the wedding were immensely impressed with the space and were surprised and pleased that they could explore the museum openly, throughout the evening. That was a great perk to give guests an activity other than drinking, eating or dancing, if they wanted to.The only drawbacks were that unfortunately, we did have a sales rep that worked directly with couples for weddings and events when we booked the venue, but that person had quit after booking and the venue was not able to replace the role by our wedding. So a few people had to take up the role to fill the gap. It would have been nice to have that one point of contact throughout and day of. They did coordinate directly with our outside vendors well, however, once connections were made. The catering was good. We really had to collaborate with the rep on the menu since the pre-set menu packages were not what we were looking for. The hor d'oeuvres and cocktail hour is where the food really shined. As the bride, its difficult to comment too much on the food as I had very little time to eat but ate as much as we could! We were a bit disappointed with the entree station for roast pig. We weren't able to have that in our tasting since we were told they have to roast a whole pig but found out closer to the wedding they do cook supplemental pork so there is enough for the head count. In theory we should have been able to try it.Overall, we still get compliments on what an immensely cool wedding we had at RRHOF and was still a wonderful day! Reviewed on 08-03-2019
Steve Gagliardi(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2013 What can I say but Wow!! First off... Anne, the coordinator from the Rock Hall, was absolutely perfect to work with!! The venue was gorgeous and adds an aura of style, class, and fun at the same time. The building was totally ours for the event and guests had the ability to tour the building throughout the night! Every aspect of planning and execution was top notch and smooth! We are still getting compliments about the wedding at the Rock Hall and in a sense become Rock Stars ourselves. We couldn't have done it with out Anne and the entire Rock Hall staff that had a hand in our wedding. Perfection in its truest sense!! Reviewed on 31-10-2013
