Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Northwestern NJ, Rock Island Lake Island is a rare find for your wedding. Surrounded by organic beauty set on a private lake, this hidden gem creates the perfect setting for those fun, romantic, and outdoor vibes you're looking for on your special day. Enjoy a laidback luxury wedding experience with only one wedding per day, onsite coordinating, and a passionate team that is here to make your day effortless and memorable. We offer two beautiful ceremony locations if you choose to get married onsite. Our outdoor location provides a gorgeous backdrop with foliage wrapped around the lake for warmer weather ceremonies. We also provide a sheltered option in our ballroom, with stunning views of the lake through our floor-to-ceiling windows. The ingredients to a perfect cocktail hour include a good setting, good food and of course a bar. Our wedding package is inclusive of an extended 1 1/2 hour cocktail hour with trendy, international and classic food options for you to create a menu unique to you. Picture your guests mingling along the lake with food and a refreshing cocktail in hand (open bar always included)! After cocktail hour, the party continues upstairs in our ballroom where you'll enjoy dinner, dancing and more fun. Our wedding package is inclusive of 3 1/2 hours of reception time after cocktail hour, with a 5-entree sit-down dinner. We offer two private suites for your wedding party to come get ready onsite before your wedding, and enhanced package options for you to spend the day.

My husband and I got married at Rock Island Lake Club on April 9th, 2021 and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made! The venue itself is beyond beautiful, and the renovations made during COVID only enhanced the already beautiful cocktail hour and reception spaces. The planning process was so easy with Becca running the show. Becca has the most kind and upbeat attitude of anyone in the wedding business! She was more on top of my planning than I was and was never more than a quick email away from answering our questions. The night of our wedding was one of the best nights of our lives! Our Maitre D' (Jillian) made sure we were never without food or drinks the whole night, and the RILC staff worked effortlessly with all of our other vendors that day. The food was BEYOND what I've ever seen at any other wedding I've attended and our family and friends cannot stop talking about all the options at cocktail hour! We cannot thank the Rock Island Lake Club staff enough for helping put together a wedding better than we could've ever hoped for. It truly was the best night of our lives and Rock Island deserves the majority of the credit for it! I would recommend this venue and their incredible staff to absolutely everyone!

Rock Island was the absolute best decision my husband and I made!!! The venue is GORGEOUS and the staff is so incredibly kind! The communication leading up to the wedding was so helpful and detail-oriented, which allowed everything to happen exactly as planned, and allowed for stress-free wedding planning (a huge plus!!!)! During our details meeting a few days prior to the wedding, we were able to drop off all decor and the staff went through each box with us so they knew EXACTLY where we wanted everything to go. Their attention to detail to make every wedding unique and perfect is obvious and very much appreciated. On the day of, the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. I was taking photos outside in the snow for an hour, and upon coming inside, they had blankets, hand/feet warmers, and hot chocolate ready for me! They took care of my husband and I all night - making sure that we were having a great time and had everything that we needed. The food was fantastic, and our guests still can't stop talking about how delicious it all was, especially the cocktail hour. And, everyone LOVED the separate dessert room, which was FILLED with sweets galore!! I cannot thank each and every one of them enough for helping to make our wedding an absolute DREAM!!!

Our experience getting married at Rock Island was nothing short of perfect. From the first time we toured, through all of our meetings, and the day itself, we always felt taken care of. The staff at RILC are truly one of a kind. They go above and beyond in making sure your questions are answered and your needs are met. Stephanie in the bridal suite and Matthew in the groom's lounge are exactly who you want helping you on your wedding day. They were friendly, information, kind, funny, and always made sure we had what we needed! We did go through multiple coordinators, but each one picked up where the last left off. I never felt like anything slipped through the cracks. We have a lot of allergies ourself, and not only were they able to accommodate, but they answered each and every one of my (endless) questions in detail. The venue itself is pristine, the cocktail hour is truly the best around (both in taste and getting your money's worth), and the vibes are exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. If you have any questions about whether it is worth it to get married at Rock Island, we'd say don't hesitate! They truly know what they are doing, they truly care about their coupes, and there's a reason why their calendar is often booked up. Rock Island Lake Club was absolutely the most perfect wedding venue I could have ever imagined. The Rock Island Team knocked every item out of the park. Guests raved about the food, the service, the drinks, the venue, everything. We were blown away with their service.They treated myself, my wedding party, my husband, his wedding party, and all of our family and friends who were there all day long like royalty all day. From steaming our dresses to serving us food, they all just took care of us and calmed every nerve that couldâve existed throughout the day. Special shoutout to Stephanie, because she really made the whole day in the bridal suite feel like a dream.Lastly, Jill absolutely took our breath away with perfection during the reception. My dress strap broke and Jill and Carmen did not skip a BEAT to sew me in and fix it up. From packing up our desserts to McDonalds and making sure we left with our card box and keeping our glasses/tables full with beverages and food. This venue took the day over the finish line with grace, fun, and organization. If you are thinking about Rock Island at ALL, do yourself a favor and book there. The fact that this venue has so many add-ons, allows you to get ready in the venue all day, it's truly a one-stop spot for the perfect lakeside, luxurious wedding of your dreams.

Rock Island provided an amazing backdrop and experience for our wedding. I couldn't recommend the venue more highly. In addition to the beautiful location and venue (which was just beautiful, modern, spotless and airy and bright), this is largely because of their amazing staff--despite turnover and what seemed to be a bit of turmoil behind the scenes, we always received careful attention and impeccable communication. They are extremely thorough, asking questions I would have never even thought of, but also never making you feel like your questions weren't valid. We felt like we were in great hands the whole planning process. Where they really shone was the day of; it couldn't have gone more smoothly. They are a well-oiled machine, and a wonderful team; it is clear they enjoy working together, and that goes a long way in setting the tone. I can't speak more highly of Stephanie as our bridal attendant--her warmth, attention to detail, and sense of humor made the day even better. There are no words for Elaine, our coordinator, who at the time of the wedding seemed to be the *only* wedding coordinator on staff. You would never know it from her attention to detail, care, professionalism, warmth and reassurance. Same went for Jillian, our Maitre D, who seemed to be a million places at once and never broke a sweat. The wait/bar/bus staff were also amazing. They were all also supremely kind, which again, is exactly what you would want on such a potentially stressful/happy/emotional day. I highly recommend getting ready at Rock Island, the upstairs suite was the highlight of the day for my bridesmaids, it is a lovely and bright space with plenty of room to spread out and the perfect backdrop for hair/makeup. They also accommodated several dietary restrictions, in the most delicious way. In general, the food was amazing/gourmet across the whole day. They make sure the bride/groom have a chance to eat amidst all the activity, and make sure you have a fridge wherever you're going after, because the doggie bags are extensive. Because they don't give you a tasting, I'll offer some feedback here. Some standouts for entrees were the pork chop and portobello wellington. The filet was overall good but seemed to be a bit hit or miss among the guests. The cocktail hour was uniformly praised, not sure you can go wrong there. If I had to share any things to be aware of, it would be to make sure you download a copy of your contract/invoice when you sign it. I didn't realize that it was a kind of \"living\" document, and things got updated that weren't quite right. This seemed to be only because of the confusion with some staff turnover, and it was dealt with quickly and with great tact, but it created some stress that we could have done without. In general, while the turnover did create some anxiety, it ended up having absolutely no bearing whatsoever on our experience day of. It was a perfect place to get married, you feel like you're in the hands of the most capable best friend ever, and you are free to enjoy the day. We couldn't ask for anything more.

I wish I could give 100 stars. My husband and I got married at Rock Island Lake Club 10/1/2023. After we and I got engaged (and to be honest, even way before that :)), I researched hundreds of venues and Rock Island ticked EVERY SINGLE one of my boxes: surrounded by nature, touch of rustic but also modern and elegant, intimate (no banquet hall), no carpeting, AMAZING food, long rectangular farm tables, fairly priced, and exceptional service. I booked Rock Island 2 years in advance (we had a 25-month engagement). The year leading up to the wedding, my coordinator Elaine was always there to respond to my many questions, and the entire planning process was made easy by this amazing team. It was truly the wedding of my dreams thanks to all the staff who run a tight ship, ensuring everything ran smoothly. My bridal attendant was with me the entire wedding day, holding my dress and bouquet, and ensuring Iâm always with a drink in my hand. They exceeded my expectations from all the other amazing reviews Iâve read. I cannot tell you how many friends and family members have told me that this was the best wedding they have ever been to and wondered how I found this venue. If everything I wrote above is what you may be looking for, I highly suggest booking Rock Island Lake Club!!!

I wish I could give 100 stars. My husband and I got married at Rock Island Lake Club 10/1/2023. We had our wedding at Rock Island Lake Club in March 2023. It was the absolute best decision! From the moment we went to tour the venue, we knew it was the place for us. Amanda and everyone at the Rock Island was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The day of the wedding was seamless and I didn't have to worry about anything. They had all the details covered. All of guests raved about the venue and food (especially the cocktail hour). If I had to do it all over again, I would still pick Rock Island. BOOK with RILC!! It's been a week and a half since my wedding and I still have guests calling me to say how beautiful the venue was and how great the food was (always a hot take at weddings). I'm a tad biased as the bride, but I've never been to a more beautiful wedding. Truly, everything went so smoothly and I felt like a princess. Having rooms onsite to get ready in was a huge plus for us as it made the whole day more relaxing - and the staff was delightful. We can't say more good things about everyone there. The planning process was smooth - with everything clearly outlined and an easy to use planning portal for selecting food, decor and more. If you are looking for a beautiful, lakeside wedding (no mater the weather), look no further and book with Rock Island Lake Club.

BOOK with RILC!! It's been a week and a half since my wedding and I still have guests calling me to say how beautiful the venue was and how great the food was (always a hot take at weddings). I'm a tad biased as the bride, but I've never been to a more beautiful wedding. Truly, everything went so smoothly and I felt like a princess. Having rooms onsite to get ready in was a huge plus for us as it made the whole day more relaxing - and the staff was delightful. We can't say more good things about everyone there. The planning process was smooth - with everything clearly outlined and an easy to use planning portal for selecting food, decor and more. My husband and I got married at Rock Island this past Saturday and we had the most amazing experience! The venue is stunning and the food was beyond amazing. We have received so many compliments from our guests being impressed with the venue. But by far the most amazing thing is the caring and attentive staff. All the planning staff were so responsive and helpful. The two bridal attendants that were with us for the day were calm, quick, and perceptive. Everyone we encountered throughout the day was positive and wonderful and really helped keep me calm when there was so much going on. We recommend Rock Island so highly to anyone looking for a venue that is has natural beauty, amazing food and drinks, and great service. Thanks to everyone there for making our wedding amazing!

My husband and I got married at Rock Island this past Saturday and we had the most amazing experience! The venue is stunning and the food was beyond amazing. We have received so many compliments from our guests being impressed with the venue. But by far the most amazing thing is the caring and attentive staff. All the planning staff were so responsive and helpful. The two bridal attendants that were with us for the day were calm, quick, and perceptive. Everyone we encountered throughout the day was positive and wonderful and really helped keep me calm when there was so much going on. We recommend Rock Island so highly to anyone looking for a venue that is has natural beauty, amazing food and drinks, and great service. Thanks to everyone there for making our wedding amazing!

Rock Island Lake Club is the perfect modern rustic venue! It's a gorgeous location to get married from the elegant ballroom to the picturesque lakeside ceremony space and the added bonus of an onsite bridal and groomsmen suite.The food selection is incredible, everything was delicious and there was such a wide variety of menu options to choose from. Our guest left with clean plates and are still raving about our margaritas & quesadillas live stations and personal pizzas we had for our late night snack. The staff was so polite, professional, and attentive throughout the entire event! Amanda our coordinator walked us through the entire planning process and Stephanie my bridal attendant went above an beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day of. She even walked around with us as we took photos in the cold and gave me blankets and hot chocolate in between pictures. Everyone was so helpful, down to earth, and friendly. We loved every aspect of our wedding and are so happy we chose Rock Island!!! Thank you guys for everything!!!!!

This venue is seriously amazing. I mean first and foremost, it is stunning. We lucked out with great weather and we were able to take pictures and have our ceremony out on the lake. The food was shockingly good. Iâd heard good reviews but we werenât that impressed at the tasting so we were a bit nervous. Every bite of food I managed to eat that night was delicious. And everything that was left on my plate got wrapped up and sent home with us. Which turned out to be a lot of food, because they ended up giving me a âsamplerâ for my entrĂ©e which really meant that they gave me all 5 entrĂ©e choices. But it was the staff that made our day so amazing. Our coordinator Amanda communicated with me and guided me from the moment we signed our contract. She worked with my bridal attendant that day to make sure that every detail and everything we discussed went perfectly. My bridal attendant was around all day making sure we were fed and comfortable and that our dresses and my veil were all properly steamed. Any tiny thing we needed, someone took care of it. My mom wanted to change out of her heels before the reception but her flip flops were in the bridal suite so someone went running to get them. My husband left his sunglasses on so my attendant is on the headset getting someone to grab those for pictures. We needed water while we were taking pictures and they radioed in and sent out two water bottles, one with a straw in it so I wouldnât ruin my makeup. My maĂźtre d finds my MOH struggling with my bustle and she swoops in and gets the whole thing up and good to go in a snap. I dropped a fork with some cake on it and a little chocolate got on my dress and the server standing next to me put down the plate she was carrying and got down there with a napkin and a glass of water to make sure it wouldnât stain. I went into the dessert lounge to grab some dessert and my maĂźtre d comes up to me and says donât worry, weâre making you a plate. Next thing I see thereâs a giant platter with 2 of every dessert from the Viennese style dessert lounge and 2 giant pieces of cake heading its way to our table. Someone even remembered to make us a sâmore from the bonfire outside. There was always a fresh drink available for me.

We got married on May 21st 2022 and everything felt like a dream. We cannot recommend this venue enough!! They are fast and responsive along the way with any questions that you may have. They are so easy to work with and with such friendly staff. Also the FOOD was FANTASTIC! I cannot express how delicious every single thing was! They were super accommodating for anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions. Everyone kept raving about how wonderful the venue was, how friendly the staff was and how much variety there was with the food. Not one single complaint! Don't hesitate to book!!!

BOOK THEM. We have not heard one bad thing. My husband and I wanted to go someplace that wasnât your traditional NJ ballroom â that just isnât us. We also wanted someplace that had really great food. So many times you go to a wedding and your disappointed by the food and thatâs a major thing people ask you after youâve been to a wedding. The cocktail hour alone, WOW. People cannot stop raving about the cocktail hour. And they have so many choices, it was a hard decision on what stations to pick. Not only was the food fantastic, the service that my husband and I received the day of was above and beyond. There was always someone checking on us, getting us new drinks, even changing my shoes for me! I needed to change my shoes before we continued taking pictures because my heels were going into the ground and the bridal attendant got my change of shoes and changed them for me. My girls were all going to go in and get flipflops, but she ran in and got them everything they needed. Even throughout the night, our bridal party was checked on and they even asked them if they needed anything. The service is above and beyond. There really isnât much more to say other than what a mistake you are making by not booking them.

Adam and I were so blessed to have celebrated our wedding here on 5/6/2022, just over 3 weeks ago! Our family and friends have not stopped raving about the food, the venue, and the staff! I can not overstate just how amazing Rock Island Lake club was from start to finish. My husband and I had booked Rock Island allll the way in 2019 and had help from the coordinators at RILC to plan our dream day. The constant, consistent communication and kind demeanor of the staff at Rock Island really made the planning process stress free. Two weeks before our date, our original coordinator left and we were assigned Amanda who really knocked it out of the park! She made the transition seamless and eliminated any worries we had about the sudden change. The day of the wedding I was so calm and collected, mostly in part to the amazing staff at RILC. They handled everything from set-up, vendor coordination, bridal party wrangling, and guest arrivals. They truly made the day so magical and my guests are still raving about the food and drinks! I spent most of my night dancing/mingling but the RILC staff managed to pack up my food and dessert for me so I could still have some after the reception. Overall Rock Island was the BEST choice we made for our wedding day and I'm so thankful for all the staff there!!

My husband and I didnât have to look at many venues before deciding that Rock Island Lake Club was the right venue for us. The most important things to us were a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space, an elegant yet modern ballroom, and an all inclusive wedding package. We found all those things at RILC. We both chose to upgrade to the suites to get ready in, and the service they give you really helped to take a lot of the stress away the day of the wedding! Many of our guests were stuck in traffic and we had to push back the ceremony until at least the shuttle arrived. When it did the RILC staff ushered everyone into the ceremony space quickly and the ceremony went seamlessly. Cocktail hour was what sold us on the venue in the first place, and the food and service was great! Our only regret was not being able to spend more time at cocktail hour. Dinner was great and they give you the option to have all of the entrees you chose, and leftovers for later! The staff was so attentive the entire night, and we never went without a drink when we needed it. They also packed up our personal decorations to take home, and we were able to pick it up the next day. The overall experience made it possible for my husband and I to enjoy the most time celebrating our gorgeous wedding day with family and friends!

From our first interactions with the staff at Rock Island all the way through until the end of the wedding day (and even afterwards!), we felt that each person we met was genuinely hoping to help make our wedding day the best day ever. They did not disappoint. Becca (event coordinator) is the most incredible human and communicated so kindly, professionally, and promptly throughout the entire process. We also want to make mention of Billie (bridal attendant), Amanda (event coordinator), and Jillian (maitre dâ). Each and every one of them was lovely and played an important part in making our wedding day such a success. Our guests have not stopped raving over the cocktail hour, the beautiful venue, and the attentiveness and kindness of the staff at Rock Island. So many of our guests have told us that itâs the best wedding theyâve ever attended, and (obviously!) weâd have to agree. The day ran seamlessly, and I honestly didn't feel an ounce of stress because I knew I was in the best of hands. The bridal attendant went straight to steaming our dresses and providing us with food and drinks upon arrival, and I truly felt like royalty all day long. Our wedding coordinator, Amanda, was so on top of things, always available to answer questions. She went above and beyond with her communication and planning. The food was incredible and our guests continue to rave about it. While we were fortunate enough to have the weather cooperate to have a gorgeous lakeside ceremony, the inside of the venue is equally as beautiful. While there are other venues that are as aesthetically stunning, Rock Island sets itself apart with the level of service that is provided, especially with how they graciously accommodated our COVID-postponed wedding (twice!). We are forever grateful to Rock Island Lake Club for making our wedding dreams come true!!!

I wish there were more positive adjectives in the English language to describe this venue. This venue, the staff - they exceed all professional, emotional, spiritual bounds when it comes to your wedding day. The team has been nothing short of amazing and responsive during our entire 2-year engagement! Becca is an actual earth angel and her fellow team of men and women are phenomenal humans. Shout out to Amanda who literally carried my long veil to ensure it was safe down the isle! In addition to the insane food, space, set-up, decor and more - this team literally pivoted our entire wedding from an indoor ceremony (all set up) to and outdoor ceremony in 10 minutes!!! I was about to walk down the isle indoors when the skies miraculously cleared and Becca asked if Iâd like to move the ceremony outdoors- and the team did this seamlessly. I truly have no words. It was incredible. These individuals created a euphoric feeling for both my husband and I. We cannot thank them enough. Book this venue - this is one item on your checklist that you can feel 100% secure in and trust whole heartedly. I wish there were more positive adjectives in the English language to describe this venue. This venue, the staff - they exceed all professional, emotional, spiritual bounds when it comes to your wedding day. The team has been nothing short of amazing and responsive during our entire 2-year engagement! Becca is an actual earth angel and her fellow team of men and women are phenomenal humans. Shout out to Amanda who literally carried my long veil to ensure it was safe down the isle! In addition to the insane food, space, set-up, decor and more - this team literally pivoted our entire wedding from an indoor ceremony (all set up) to and outdoor ceremony in 10 minutes!!! Rebecca Nelson handled everything with ease and poise which was exactly what is needed with wedding planning. That is going above and beyond and we greatly appreciated it!! Thank you so much for making our day everything and more! We couldn't be happier that we chose Rock Island as our venue. Becca was so responsive throughout the entire process, including the postponement, and never once made us feel like we were a bother with questions. She was an essential part of our planning process and I trusted her FULLY! Her bubbly personality never once made me feel an ounce of stress, and I am so thankful for that! She is so efficient and organized. She was with us for most of our wedding day and made sure every vision I had in mind came to life. My bridal attendant Kylie was also so sweet and so attentive and made it known she was there to make my life easier anyway she could. Holding my veil, my bouquet, getting us drinks and answering questions in the bridal suite while we all got ready...she was awesome! Jillian was with us all day at our wedding and she was constantly checking up on us to make sure everything was going great and if we needed anything, we always had a drink, we were always eating, and to make sure we were getting the most out of our experience. The food was INCREDIBLE! All of our guests were talking about how delicious everything was. I hope I can come back as a guest one day so I can eat everything, and even so, we were able to eat because they made sure we had food from cocktail hour waiting for us in the Grooms suite after the ceremony so we can eat before going to greet our guests. They also refilled those plates throughout cocktail hour. It was such a thoughtful touch. Becca and Jillian greeted us after walking down the aisle after our ceremony with drinks. Just all the little things made this alresdy amazing experience so much better. We had a sâmores cart and Jillian made sure to go get us some and brought it to us so we could continue dancing and spending time with guests. I canât say enough amazing things about Rock Island and everyone involved. The wait staff was so attentive and the bartenders were so fun!! So many times throughout the night guests would come up and ask me âhow did you find this place?â They were all so impressed with how breathtaking the venue was and how amazing the food was. Our wedding day was a little slice of heaven and we canât thank everyone enough at Rock Island. Thank you for making our wedding dream come true!

I would not spend the money on this venue because the overall guest experience was completely lacking. I feel like we were forgotten guests downstairs and the wait staff were unfriendly and rude from start to finish. My husband and I were excited to come to a wedding here since it was on our list of potential wedding venues. We are very happy we went with a different venue in the end after this wedding. We were supposed to sit in the deck under a tent but due to the cold weather we were 1 of 2 tables that had to sit downstairs in the cocktail room which was fine. But it was as if we were forgotten. While we were downstairs, staff were setting up for the next days wedding and only refilled our water glasses once. We felt as if we were encroaching on their space and not at the wedding. We were yelled at multiple times to be quiet while they were making speaches up stairs but there was no where for us to stand up stairs expect for standing in an awkward corner so we elected to sit at our table downstairs. The table next to us was louder then we were and they were not told to be quiet. The sound acoustics were not great. The music was extreamly loud but it sounded as if people who were making speeches weren't given a microphone. The cocktail hour was alright but nothing to pay extra for. There weren't enough seats for tables considering we were a small party. The dessert was a joke. We were never told they cut the cake and the dessert tables were open. We were never offered coffee of tea. By the time we got up stairs, there was only 1 scope of chocolate ice cream left for the ice cream sundae bar the bride paid extra for. How do you run out of 1 of the 2 flavors served. I know the bride wasnt able to meet her minimum so there should have been plenty of food. Dont get me started with COVID protocol. This venue does not allow for social distancing. Masks were not mandated. The person checking guests in and taking temperatures only appeared to be at the door half the time as she was running around so I doubt there was proper screening. The cocktail hour was part served by staff part self serve so we were all touching the same utensils. Guest experience is a 0 as everything about our experience made us wanting to go home after the opening speaches and no one would have been the wiser. If you only care about appearances and not about your guests, book here. Otherwise stay away. Spend your money at one of the other venues in the area like Skyview.

We got married at Rock Island a few weeks ago. It was truly such a beautiful day overall. We knew we wanted to book Rock Island right after we toured it in late 2019. The location, menu options, upgrades, amenities and aesthetic was everything we wanted. We guaranteed 140 guests but due to COVID we were unable to reach that number. We wished that the venue would work with us considering that people still didn't feel comfortable in attending, but unfortunately we still went ahead and paid for the difference of 70 extra people. It would have been nice to allow for upgrades instead of guest minimums, especially considering that we added several upgrades. However, the smaller guest count allowed for an intimate setting to celebrate our special day. In my bridal suite, Angelica and Jen were absolute ANGELS! They were so amazing and truly made sure that I had everything I needed and that everything was going smoothly. I didn't have any bridesmaids due to COVID, but they were there for me every step of the way. Angelica, Jen and Becca cleaned my dress for me with shout wipes after it was a little muddy from taking photos. Angelica and Jen even helped me go to the bathroom! Can't thank them enough! Cocktail hour was amazing and the food was 10/10. They even brought us a variety of cocktail hour food right after the ceremony. It was such a surprise to have all entrees for us instead of picking just one. We loved that! We just regret not eating more, and I regret not tasting one of the signature drinks (Limoncello Spritz)! Unfortunately, during dinner our drinks didn't get refilled. we didn't get any refills during the reception the whole night and no one seemed to be coming to refill it for us. The maitre'd was also giving my mom and I a difficult time regarding the sparklers. A week before the wedding we had paid extra to have every single guest have a sparkler instead of just the bridal party. On our wedding night, the maitre'd advised us that it would only be for the bridal party because they needed it for the next day's wedding. We were talking on the side about said sparklers for about 10 minutes and I missed out on dancing and enjoying our wedding during that time. The day flew by and I wanted to enjoy every moment of it. Everyone keeps talking about how amazing the food and venue was. We also got the pretzel bar and s'mores as upgrades but the pretzel bar wasn't set up simultaneously to the dessert bar. A lot of guests who got up for dessert missed out on the pretzel bar. Only about 10 guests got s'mores. During the reception, the guests advised me that the champagne was taken away before the toast, so unfortunately they couldn't toast with it. The uplighting truly added a beautiful ambiance to the night - highly recommend! The grounds are so beautiful that any season would be wonderful to have a wedding at this venue. Overall, based on the food, ambiance and location, it was truly a beautiful day.

Rock Island was one of the first venues that we visited while we started the planning process of our wedding. We fell in love with it immediately. Between the gorgeous reception and cocktail space and the outside area where the ceremony would take place we were amazed. We signed our contract and was ready to start planning. Unfortunately COVID did force us to change our date and Rock Island was accommodating. When our date finally arrived, the staff truly made the day so special even midst a pandemic. I didn't have a care in the world that day because I trusted the staff and they knew how to handle everything. All of our guests felt safe with the precautions in place. The food was exceptional also. Overall I am so happy we kept with having our \"big\" wedding and thank you to the Rock Island staff for making our day so special!

My husband Simon and I still remember the first day we stepped into the venue - not only were we taken away by the beautiful views of the lake, archway, and of course the modern rustic interiors of the reception hall, we were so delighted to have met a team who were so genuinely warm and passionate about their work that we almost immediately knew we had found our wedding venue. Both Simon and I understood that wedding planning was no easy feat, but we also wanted to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime process and we are SO glad to have shared this experience with Rock Island. The moment we #bookedRockIsland, the team kick-started a well-structured, well-thought out planning process that was led by our coordinator Heather who really put us at ease. Not only were we so impressed by Heather's professionalism and experience, she immediately created an environment where no question was too outrageous and no request was out of the question! Ten months of planning flew by and our wedding day was perfectly executed by our MaĂźtre d, Mike, day-of coordinator, Jessica, and the entire on-site staff who made sure that our guests, family members and even our dogs were enjoying themselves! The day was simply a blur but we vividly remember Mike reminding us to eat and escorted us to the groomsmen lounge in the middle of cocktail hour where he prepared an impressive spread for us to re-fuel and re-energize. But itâs really the people you work with that make your day. I was incredibly lucky to work with Heather & Mike who made our day most memorable. We fell in love with Rock Island the second we visited. We booked immediately and were so excited! Our wedding was a dream. The negative was the change in staff. They had staff changes that occurred the week of our wedding that we were not aware of. Because of that we had many schedule issues the day of that were clearly communicated during our many appointments and visits. (Timing, photos missed, upcharges that werenât executed how we discussed) Other than that everything was wonderful. The bartenders were amazing and the cocktail hour food is still being raved about!! I can't say enough good things about this venue. From taking our first tour with Jessica, to planning the wedding with Heather, all the way through to the day of coordination by Mike... everything and everyone was perfect. We loved Rock Island from the moment we saw it but what sold us on it was the food and drinks. I mean, how many other places can you get 30+ beers on tap?!? The morning of, my bridal party got ready in the bridal suite, which I highly recommend. It was an easy and relaxing morning where we had food and drinks prepared for us by the Rock Island team. The morning flew by and before I knew it, it was time for the ceremony. The outside ceremony location is beautiful and picturesque on the side of the lake. Directly after the ceremony, all the guest went the cocktail hour which was absolutely ridiculous - we had a bacon station, a taco bar, a suckling pig, perogies, chicken and waffles, tuna tacos, the list goes on and on! Everyone was super impressed with the variety and amount of food offered (which is standard from Rock Island). We added a few extras onto our wedding package - the uplighting (which I also highly recommend), the whiskey bar outside, the s'mores bonfire, and the menus. If I had to find one thing that I think Rock Island could improve on, it would be to work with the DJ to coordinate announcements. The majority of our guests had no idea that there was a s'mores bonfire outside or that there was a Venetian table with desserts in the back room. All in all though, the day was truly perfect. If I had to do it all again there's no doubt in my mind that I would chose RILC.

We met with Heather and she made us feel comfortable with the whole thing even though the venue was under construction for the winter when we visited. More importantly she put my parents minds at ease. Every question we fired at Heather (including the weird ones) were answered so helpfully and she made planning my wedding so uncomplicated and incredible. The actual day of our wedding Kelsey and Jessica and Mike made sure there was not one single thing I needed to worry about. Everything I needed, asked about, or stressed over was immediately handled or I was given an answer quickly. Now for Mike- when I say I never needed to look for a drink or even thought about needing something there he was with a new drink for me, or a napkin or water. He got my husband extra steak (which made his night- he still raves about it) he made our wedding memorable, helped keep me sane and kept a drink in both of our hands once the party started. From start to finish all 19 months of it I never once questioned my decision to have our wedding here. True professionals each and every one of them it was a joy to work with them while planning and it was the most perfect wedding anyone in my family or friend group has ever been to. Over a month later and we are still getting compliments on everything from the food and drinks to the service. Everything about this venue is a 10/10.

I initially fell in love with Rock Island Lake Club from their website alone â the beautiful pictures and insane menu options vaulted it high to the top of our venue list, and once we started visiting venues in person, it was clear nothing was going to top it. The aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for; not a âbig Jersey ballroomâ, but a gorgeously understated glam-rustic vibe that didnât need to be hidden behind excessive dĂ©cor and florals. The new birch arch by the water and the beautiful farmhouse tables in the ballroom are just a few highlights.The staff was beyond amazing from beginning to end. I told my husband the day before the wedding that thereâs no way I wouldâve stayed (mostly) sane if weâd booked anywhere else. We visited the venue twice before officially booking, and both times we walked in the place were greeted warmly and offered beverages before the tour began. Once we were under contract, Heather was our main point-of-contact and was an absolute dream to work with. Sheâll outline everything the venue needs from you, and as long as you provide it, everything will run smoothly. Our actual wedding day ran like clockwork. Iâd purchased the bridal suite upgrade for my bridesmaids, and we spent the morning upstairs with Karly as our wonderful bridal attendant while we had our hair and makeup done (highly recommend the bridal suite package â it made the day stress-free knowing we were there early, with breakfast and lunch taken care of). Jessica and Mike ran the show when it came to the ceremony and reception, and every part of the evening progressed timely and smoothly.Lastly â the food! The menu options are overwhelming in the best way. The included tasting several months before our wedding was helpful for us to narrow down the options, and was a nice way to get a preview of how the venue manages an event. I appreciated being able to select four or five entrĂ©e choices, and the breadth of cocktail hour choices allowed us to easily make sure guests with various dietary restrictions had no issues getting enough food. We capped off the night with the brick oven pizza upgrade, serving as our favor for our guests as they departed, and heard rave reviews the next morning.Rock Island was an amazing place to get married, and Iâd recommend the venue with zero hesitation!

Every single time my husband and I visited Rock Island, we left impressed and so beyond excited for our big day. Our guests cannot stop raving about our wedding being the best and most fun wedding they have ever been to. The cocktail hour was raved about probably the most from our guests because of how good the food was, how there were enough seats and areas to hang out in that you didn't want it to end, and how best of all, the food was fantastic and there were no lines! Seriously! The views and location/building/grounds are just breathtaking and the staff left such a lasting impression on everyone that our guests knew them by name by the end of the night. Heather, our wedding planner, was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She is so warm and welcoming and made everything a breeze. Mike and Jessica made our wedding day run absolutely seamlessly. Karly, my bridal attendant, was extremely attentive to me and she was right there with me through our first look and all of my pictures to help with my veil and dress. From the day we stepped foot in Rock Island, we knew we wanted to become a part of the RILC family. The grounds are gorgeous, well maintained, and are simply stunning and unique. This was just the beginning. As soon as we booked, we began working with Heather who was absolutely unreal - Heather is responsive, full of ideas and knowledge, and above all else, truly felt like our friend who genuinely cared about our wedding, despite the fact that she helps so many other couples - this is evidenced by our 100+ email chain. It is so important when planning a wedding to fully trust your vendors, and Rock Island made this easy. The day before our wedding, we met with Mike A, the RILC MaĂźtre d', and Jessica, the RILC day-of coordinator. Jessica took the time to go over every piece of decor we were dropping off to ensure that everything we wanted to be used was used, and similarly that everything we brought was packed up for us after the wedding was over. Mike and Jessica then went over every detail for our wedding, making sure that everything would be smooth the day of - and it was. Mike was AMAZING and everyone complimented us about how smoothly everything was and how promptly dinner was served. We are from Long Island and during cocktail hour, everyone came up to us to ask how we found Rock Island because they were in awe of the venue - the grounds, the lake, the ceremony space, the food, the service, and everything in between. I cannot stress this enough - my bridal attendant Amelia was EVERYTHING. She took care of absolutely all of my needs, made sure I stayed hydrated, whipped out pliers to help affix charms to my wedding shoes, and made sure we got platters of food from the cocktail our in the bridal suite after our ceremony. I cannot thank these people enough and truly did not want to leave at the end of the night. Everyone is raving about the food, saying that people were fighting over the lamb at dinner, cleaned their plates even after being stuffed after an amazing cocktail hour (especially getting rave reviews about the mini lobster tacos, coconut shrimp, chicken and waffles, grilled cheese shooters, and the slider station). Our guests told us how nice the bartenders were, how attentive the wait staff was, and how delicious the boardwalk station was that we added as a dessert. I could honestly go on and on and on about how amazing our day was because of Rock Island, but honestly, the most important thing to know is that Rock Island knows what they are doing and there are simply no other venues that you should be considering. From the day we stepped foot in Rock Island, we knew we wanted to become a part of the RILC family. The grounds are gorgeous, well maintained, and are simply stunning and unique. This was just the beginning. As soon as we booked, we began working with Heather who was absolutely unreal - Heather is responsive, full of ideas and knowledge, and above all else, truly felt like our friend who genuinely cared about our wedding, despite the fact that she helps so many other couples - this is evidenced by our 100+ email chain. It is so important when planning a wedding to fully trust your vendors, and Rock Island made this easy. The day before our wedding, we met with Mike A, the RILC MaĂźtre d', and Jessica, the RILC day-of coordinator. Jessica took the time to go over every piece of decor we were dropping off to ensure that everything we wanted to be used was used, and similarly that everything we brought was packed up for us after the wedding was over. Mike and Jessica then went over every detail for our wedding, making sure that everything would be smooth the day of - and it was. Mike was AMAZING and everyone complimented us about how smoothly everything was and how promptly dinner was served. We are from Long Island and during cocktail hour, everyone came up to us to ask how we found Rock Island because they were in awe of the venue - the grounds, the lake, the ceremony space, the food, the service, and everything in between. I cannot stress this enough - my bridal attendant Amelia was EVERYTHING. She took care of absolutely all of my needs, made sure I stayed hydrated, whipped out pliers to help affix charms to my wedding shoes, and made sure we got platters of food from the cocktail our in the bridal suite after our ceremony. I cannot thank these people enough and truly did not want to leave at the end of the night. Everyone is raving about the food, saying that people were fighting over the lamb at dinner, cleaned their plates even after being stuffed after an amazing cocktail hour (especially getting rave reviews about the mini lobster tacos, coconut shrimp, chicken and waffles, grilled cheese shooters, and the slider station). Our guests told us how nice the bartenders were, how attentive the wait staff was, and how delicious the boardwalk station was that we added as a dessert. I could honestly go on and on and on about how amazing our day was because of Rock Island, but honestly, the most important thing to know is that Rock Island knows what they are doing and there are simply no other venues that you should be considering. No one wants to be \"lucky\" and have it rain on their wedding day, and they certainly don't want it to start raining when they are about to start the procession. This is what happened to us though. As we waited and thought about how our decorations would be abandoned next to the gorgeous lake, the staff worked like fairy godparents to make sure our guests had fresh drinks and our decor was saved and transferred to the indoor space we also loved. If you're reading this review, you're probably considering Rock Island. My advice - DO IT! Rock Island was the PERFECT choice for our wedding day. Heather, the wedding coordinator on site, is incredibly helpful and keeps you on track. She is always there for help and advice along the way. We called and emailed her many times and she was always incredibly friendly and helpful. Once you get to the final week, you meet with Mike and Jessica who are also beyond helpful. They take care of you the day of the event and make sure all of the details are ironed out before hand. Not only is the entire staff at Rock Island is great, but the food options CANNOT be beat. As a guest at weddings, two of the top things I care about (other than the couple, of course) are food and drinks. Rock Island has you covered. People still rave about our cocktail hour and guests literally had dreams about our desserts!! Also, who else gives you 5 options for dinner? It's unheard of. The premium open bar is a huge hit as well (for obvious reasons). Not all venues include this free of charge!! You may also be thinking, as the guests of honor, you won't get to enjoy any of the great food and drinks. But Rock Island does not let you miss out on this! We had our wedding at a church nearby and then came to Rock Island for pictures, before the cocktail hour. The bar was open and they had food waiting for us. Which was great because I was too nervous to eat before the ceremony and thought I would pass out if they didn't have food waiting for us!! We also stepped away for a few minutes during cocktail hour to freshen up and breathe and found trays of cocktail hour food along with our signature drinks waiting for us in the bridal suite. Our bridal attendant Amelia was awesome. She kept coming up to check on us to see if we wanted more to eat or drink. (She's also there for you throughout the night to make sure you're doing ok and to see if you need anything at all.) And the food didn't stop there. Every time I turned around, someone was asking if I needed anything. My drinks were never empty and if I left to dance, a new one was magically refilled by the time I got back. I tell everyone, I felt like royalty on my wedding day!! And the venue... just look at it. It is breathtaking. Months later, at other weddings, people talk to us about how wonderful it was to have the lake and our outdoor area to hang out at during cocktail hour. We also lucked out with a beautiful sunset on our wedding night, so the balcony was packed with people snapping pictures. We had so many guests tell us we did our wedding \"the right way\" and that it was the best wedding they had been to. People still are talking about it months later. I cannot thank the Rock Island family enough for making our day so special. I would not change a thing about our day.

We had a good feeling after hearing and reading great reviews, but when we went for our initial consultation, we were blown away, not only by the space and scenery, but by the plethora of options available to us as part of the basic wedding package and the abundance of upgrades. The kindness and patience of the staff to answer our questions was also evident in Jessica's warm smile and demeanor at our meeting! As we planned, Heather (the wedding coordinator on staff) was always available to guide us in decisions when we were stuck or to answer questions about everything from wine options to car services. I truly felt that she was always happy to hear from us and help us as best as she could. By the time we got to the final meeting the day before our wedding, we felt that everything was in fantastic hands, no matter how many times the seating chart shifted in the final week! Mike, the maĂźtre d', made us confident that the reception would be awesome and Jessica, our day of coordinator, made us confident that our ceremony would run like clockwork. Carly, my bridal attendant, was extremely helpful on the day of the wedding, always willing to hold my bouquet or fix my unruly veil. One thing that really blew me away on our wedding day (and that I told a few of them) was that the whole staff really seemed genuinely thrilled for us as if it was the first wedding they had ever worked on. I really think that their excitement and enthusiasm for us made the day even more perfect. I would wholeheartedly recommend RILC to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

I cannot say enough good things about Rock Island. We absolutely loved everything about it! From the beginning, they made us feel like part of the family. Heather (wedding coordinator) was there for us every step of the way and always helpful in answering all of my questions. The new addition and updated cocktail room were amazing and we loved all the wood and \"rustic elegant\" feel. We got ready in the bridal suite which was beautiful and Carly and the bridal staff made sure we had everything we needed. They steamed all our robes, provided coffee, breakfast and sandwiches. For the price, the cocktail hour spread was amazing! Our guests were raving about all the stations and how great the food was. I barely got to eat but everyone LOVED the mac & cheese bar, slider bar and whole pig. Mike (maitre d) was also fabulous. He had everything organized and made sure everything was on schedule. He always asked if we needed any drinks or food and was very attentive. We left the car overnight and he had all our decor packed up so we just had to show up and leave the next day. I cannot wait to get our pictures back to see how beautiful everything was. My sister just got engaged and I am hoping she has her wedding here so we have an excuse to go back.

You're not going to find a better level of service, not only for the bride & groom but for all the guests of your wedding. HEATHER was amazing in all the wedding planning process- super responsive, professional but still managed to feel like she was our friend. MIKE & JESSICA were SO good at what they do, we don't even remember how we got to one point to the other during the entire wedding because of the seamless flow they managed to get going. And all the other coordinators, attendants, staff- thank you so much for contributing to the best night of our lives.2. Food & Drink - Our guests still rave about how good the food was, especially during cocktail hour. Also, top-shelf open bar. Enough said!3. Venue/Location - If you want an intimate, rustic yet hip, beautiful location that's tucked away in nature, this is it. My wife and I just got married here on May 26, and we were beyond happy with our whole experience! The planning was made so easy by Heather who was available whenever we needed anything, and sent us reminders and check-ins. The day of was awesome, and went even better than we expected! Mike A. was so amazing, making sure everything went smoothly so that we didn't even have to think about logistics and could enjoy every minute. Mike D. and the cooking staff put on a show with all of the amazing food, which was highly complimented by all of our guests! From top to bottom, it was the best possible day, and it was made that way by the wonderful staff who work there. A random rainstorm came through right in time for our ceremony and everyone was scurrying around switching over the reception room from being fully set up with tables and place settings to being ready to hold a beautiful ceremony. It was crazy how quickly and efficiently everyone moved and how sensitive they were to what we wanted. I think we changed our minds 3 or 4 times on having the ceremony inside/outside within a 15 minute span and they were so gracious about changing on the fly and making it perfect. We ended up having our ceremony inside, but we were still completely satisfied and thrilled by it. The rain stopped and we were still able to enjoy the outdoors, so ended up getting the best of both worlds!We cannot express our thanks enough for the wonderful job that everyone at Rock Island did! We wish we could do it all over again! We will highly recommend this venue to everyone, and I'm sure our guests will, as well.

On our wedding day, the staff took amazing care of bridal party, my family members, and myself, as we got ready at the venue. We never had to ask for anything because our bridal attendant, Carly, was on top of getting us food and drinks in addition to steaming our dresses. Mike, our maĂźtre dâ for the evening, took amazing care of my husband and the groomsmen, even wrangling them up when needed. Despite the rainy weather, the staff was prepared and smoothly transitioned our reception to an indoor ceremony space. Jessica, our ceremony coordinator, did a fantastic job ensuring that the ceremony was smooth and looked as beautiful as we could have imagined. During the cocktail hour (and a half), our guests raved about the fantastic food selections and abundance of food throughout the evening. Even with little hiccups along the way, as a result of some of our guests, Mike and the staff at the Rock Island Lake Club handled everything flawlessly. Mike made sure that my husband and I always had something to drink or eat before we even realized that either was needed. The staff did a tremendous job of setting up the room after the indoor ceremony and was attentive to all of our guests. The photo booth was a huge hit with our guests in addition to the pizzas at the end of the night! Our guests have been talking about how our wedding was the best one that they have ever been to! We wish that we could go back and relive that day or, at the very least, attend many, many weddings there in the future. Thank you for everything, Rock Island family!

What can I say about Rock Island Lake Club? It is absolutely amazing, and you should definitely have your wedding here! Throughout the entire wedding process, Heather and the Rock Island family made us feel so welcome and organized. Heather, our wedding coordinator, would send us reminder emails about the entire process and was cheerful and our ray of sunshine each time we spoke. On our wedding day, the staff took amazing care of bridal party, my family members, and myself, as we got ready at the venue. Heather, our wedding coordinator, was sooo attentive and responsive to all of our needs since day one, she was simply amazing!!! Our maitre d' Mike was incredibly AMAZING and is such a great asset to this venue. He made sure EVERYTHING went smoothly the day of the wedding, especially when we decided to pull the ceremony inside and when we extended the wedding for another half hour. My bridal attendant Karly was super sweet and so attentive to me and our bridesmaids and made sure that anything that I or them needed was taken care of. Jessica was also sooo pleasant to work with on our wedding day and during our final appointment she took her time in going through the final details and helping out with anything we needed. We are SOOO HAPPY that we picked Rock Island Lake Club, because I don't think we could have made a better decision. My husband and I went on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue- we were both trying to avoid the ballroom with the swirly rugs, I did most of my research online and I found Rock Island- From the second we walked in we were sold. Mike walked us around and he was honest and cool and made us feel so incredibly comfortable. There were certain aspects of a wedding that we wanted to avoid like the announcements and the cake cutting, and they were down for whatever we wanted (we actually went to a venue that told us we NEEDED to cut the cake- there was no away around it, clearly we didn't get married there) Long story short- if you are looking for a venue that is different, and want to wow the crowd- Rock Island is it- dont look any further! The food was INCREDIBLE, the staff felt like our family, the view is on the lake and there are so many photo opportunities inside and out. One big thing that stuck out to me during one of our tours, Heather told me to treat Rock Island like your home- put up pictures and signs and candles, anything to make it feel like home- and it really truly did. and another HUGE perk- you are the only wedding of the day, you have the entire place to yourself, every room and every level, it was fantastic! I already have friends on Facebook messaging me for more information, and guest telling their family and friends about it. They have mastered the art of a perfect wedding

She was incredibly organized and responsive to any questions that we had about vendors, the menu, decor, etc., including alleviating my concern that the dance floor would be too small with a band. Let me assure you that we had plenty of room on the dance floor with an 8-piece band and 160 guests!As for the day of, everything was perfect and stress-free. Jessica, Mike, Mike and the rest of the Rock Island team have this down to a science. Everything was set up by the time we got there. They made sure that everything we asked for on the day of was provided. They made sure that my 95-year old grandmother was able to get around the property without missing anything. They made sure that we ate before the cocktail hour and before the party (very important!) and even brought my husband a plate of the lamb chops that he was most excited about at the cocktail hour. The food was delicious, plentiful and I was told, regularly refilled at the cocktail hour. Rock Island and its team really just went above and beyond to make us have such a special day from our first visit to the day after our wedding when they had all of our decor organized in boxes ready to be taken home.We cannot recommend Rock Island enough if you are looking to have a stress-free wedding in a gorgeous location with great food and drinks. We would not change a thing about our wedding and that is the highest complement that we can give!For those looking to book Rock Island, we had fantastic vendors as well: Hank Lane - Clara Jordan Band (band), A Touch of Elegance (flowers), Anthony Ziccardi Studios (photography and videography), My Limo (guest transportation) and Hilton Garden Inn - Rockaway (hotel).

They payed meticulous attention to every detail along the way and executed the day seamlessly. Heather was an absolute pleasure to plan with for the 18 months leading up to our wedding. She was always just a phone call or email away to answer any questions or concerns we had throughout the process. She also provided great suggestions and advice when needed. She truly has a knack for organization and was able to alleviate some of the burden of planning and the fine tuning of details. Her and Mike, our maitre d', worked as the perfect pair to orchestrate the most special day! Mike was there for anything and EVERYTHING we needed the day of our wedding. He coordinated our vendors, wedding party and guests to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. He provided us with our own escort service via golf cart and an endless supply of ice cold water to help us manage the 100+ degree temperatures. Most importantly his confidence and cool demeanor left us with not a care in the world the day of our wedding, knowing we were in good hands! The venue itself looked incredible! Our vision and decor were executed perfectly by the entire staff. Our guests still canât stop raving about the food and top rate service. The experience we had working with Rock Island was unbeatable and the best decision we made! My husband and I found Rock Island through online searches when looking for a wedding venue. After our initial visit we were IN LOVE with the venue, the location, and the staff. We continued to keep an open mind as we were nervous about spending so much money on one day however that was time wasted. Rock Island is THE PLACE to have your wedding. We visited Rock Island three times before committing to 10/21/18 and we could not be happier with our decision. Rock Island Lake Club takes care of almost everything, Heather our wedding coordinator was extremely responsive to our e-mails and super helpful with planning the wedding and sorting out little details in the weeks and days leading up to it. People say planning a wedding is difficult, Heather and the staff at Rock Island made it seamless. Mike, our maĂźtreâd for the day was like having a super fun and chill friend hang out with us with his top priority being if we were fed, happy, and having a good time. It was a brisk fall day and Mike even gave me his jacket while we were outside for pictures so I wouldnât freeze before the ceremony, he had drinks ready for us after the ceremony, and a plate of food from cocktail hour waiting for us. My girls and I got ready at Rock Island and the groom and his friends had the lounge package, we were all fed and taken care of all day. My bridal suite attendant was a dream, she steamed dresses and the guyâs shirts, took care of me all day, carried my change of shoes, bustled my dress, slipped my veil in and out; there were times when I didnât notice she was even there, but sure enough she was, seeing if I needed anything. The food for cocktail hour and the reception was amazing, people were talking about how much of it and how good the food was the night of and well after. The package Rock Island offers to couples is unbeatable and the attention they give each wedding makes it feel like you truly are the only people in the world who are getting married and youâre all that matter. If anything went wrong the day of the wedding I have no idea; from the ceremony coordinator to the waiter who took care of us at the sweetheart table everyone knew how to pull off a dream wedding. We have had multiple people tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to and I truly hope that I one day get to be a guest at a Rock Island Wedding.

From the moment we took our first tour with Perry at Rock Island, my husband and I felt a sense of comfort. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, we truly felt the passion and love everyone on staff feels for their job. They know your wedding details inside and out, make your day feel completely special and unique and go above and beyond on the day of to make sure everything is seamless and perfect. The venue itself is gorgeous. It has an understated elegance with a rustic, but not barn, feel. We loved the Tuscan farm tables and wood floor ballroom. It doesn't look like your typical wedding venue. Heather, our wedding coordinator, is so sweet and easy to talk to, on top of being incredibly organized and communicative. Any couple would be lucky to work with her. Mike, our maitre d', was an invaluable right-hand man the day of our wedding. I needed a safety pin and mentioned it in passing and not even a minute later he had one. He checked up on us to make sure we ate, had time to ourselves and were able to absorb everything around us. I can't imagine the day without him. And don't even get me started on the food! It is DELICIOUS, and the cocktail hour is massive and gives you so many selections to really shape the wedding how YOU envision it.Between the gorgeous venue, impeccable staff and delicious food, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to get married. We would recommend this place a thousand times over.

Rock Island is a FANTASTIC wedding venue!! First off, the staff is fabulous. They are organized, helpful, responsive, and so attentive on the wedding day. I was never without a drink in my hand, and they set up a private tasting room for us, so we could try everything and have a moment together before going to cocktail hour! They are also so fun and make the whole experience more enjoyable! Second, the food is phenomenal!! My now husband is Greek, so he was looking for some Greek food, and they created an entire station for us with all of his familyâs favorite food! And it was so fantastic!! In addition to that, everything that we chose from the menu was delicious and had our guests raving. Just a few highlights: guacamole bar with margarita shots, Mac and cheese bar, duck carving station, and so much more! Lastly, the venue is beautiful. Itâs big enough to feel spacious, but small enough to feel intimate. The floors are hardwood and everything is updated. The outside is beautiful for pictures on the lake or in the woods. This place is PHENOMENAL, and Iâd highly recommend for any future brides and grooms!! We are so happy we chose Rock Island for our big day!!

They are also so fun and make the whole experience more enjoyable! Second, the food is phenomenal!! My now husband is Greek, so he was looking for some Greek food, and they created an entire station for us with all of his familyâs favorite food! And it was so fantastic!! In addition to that, everything that we chose from the menu was delicious and had our guests raving. Just a few highlights: guacamole bar with margarita shots, Mac and cheese bar, duck carving station, and so much more! Lastly, the venue is beautiful. Itâs big enough to feel spacious, but small enough to feel intimate. The floors are hardwood and everything is updated. The outside is beautiful for pictures on the lake or in the woods. This place is PHENOMENAL, and Iâd highly recommend for any future brides and grooms!! We are so happy we chose Rock Island for our big day!!

Rock Island is an outstanding wedding venue! Delicious food, amazing service, beautiful location â you canât go wrong. My husband and I chose it for a few reasons: First, we liked the intimate feel of the ballroom. It kept all of our guests in close proximity, which meant many of them stayed on the dancefloor most of the night. For the guests who needed a break from the music, they were able to step outside to the beautiful porch overlooking the lake. They were still close enough to mingle, but could also come back inside quickly if they heard a song they liked. This really kept the party going throughout the night. (Also, the speakers over the dinner tables are set lower than those over the dancefloor, which is a huge perk for those guests who want to sit and chat during the reception. Everything about the venue is so well thought-out!)The second reason we chose Rock Island was due to their dedication to upkeep. We saw a lot of venues that felt run-down. Rock Island specifically closes for 1-2 months each year to repaint and complete an improvement project. We loved this! It showed in the venueâs cleanliness and thoughtful approach to hosting a large-scale event. Their commitment to always wanting to improve their space is commendable and makes for a beautiful space. Everyone we worked with there was professional and went out of their way to be helpful. Jason is a phenomenal maitre d' and really helped to make the reception run smoothly. Everything about our wedding planning that had to do with Rock Island was easy and stress-free. We couldnât have asked for a better place to host our ~200 guests and have an amazing night to celebrate!

Getting married at Rock Island Lake Club was the best decision of our lives!! We worked with Heather leading up to the big day and communication was always seamless. I was even questioning my seating chart and timeline the week prior to the wedding and Heather answered my call with a lot of helpful answers. On the wedding day, we worked with Laura and Narissa, the ceremony coordinators, Carly, the bridal suite attendant, and of course, Mike, the world's best maitre'd. The team could not be more fantastic!! They were constantly checking in on us throughout the day as we got ready in the bridal suite, they made us feel right at home and so at ease. Right after our ceremony, Carly brought us a plate full of our cocktail hour food and our specialty cocktails to ensure we got to try everything we picked. Mike was truly by our side for anything we needed from staging us for the best first look photo ops to serving us and our guests shots so the bar wouldn't slow down to fixing the bustle of my dress. Plus, it wasn't just us who thought Mike was the best--we even had guests commenting how great their interactions with him had been! Another huge highlight is the amazing food!! We had a guest text us this week (after our wedding was two months ago) to comment that the salmon was the best meal he'd ever had at a wedding. Every guest we interacted with at the cocktail hour had so many great things to say regarding the food and service--they kept telling us something new we should try! Although we couldn't try it all, we did LOVE every bite and sip we had throughout the whole night. The day and night could not have run any more smoothly or been any more beautiful and special and we have Rock Island to thank for so much of that.

There are no words that can ever do Rock Island Lake Club justice. First, it is absolutely gorgeous. The location feels so remote and the views are amazing. They are constantly updating and renovating in order to keep current and new, but you donât need me to tell you that. There are tons of pictures online that can show you better than I can ever verbalize. What puts RILC in a completely different universe when it comes to your wedding is their service. From the day I stepped inside for a tour to the day after our wedding when I packed our trunk up with leftover flip-flops, I have felt like part of a family with endless support. Heather is the best thing to ever happen to wedding planning. She is a coordinating extraordinaire. We would not have been able to do anything without her. She understood us as a couple and helped us pick out basically every vendor and even my dress. I would send her countless emails with dozens of questions and she always came back with a cohesive and ridiculously helpful response. My day off coordinator was amazing and super helpful. Mike, the maitre d', is absolutely phenomenal. There is literally nothing he wonât do to make sure you are happy and your day goes as smooth as possible. He was always right there when we needed him and when I recapped the night with my bridal party, they all said the same. I honestly donât know how the man is in so many places at once. The food was amazing. People are still raving about our cocktail hour and signature drinks. Absolutely no one can compare to the packages they offer. You will not find another venue with this attention to detail and, most importantly, staff. As we were planning our wedding I realized most of the stress comes from not knowing (and over-Pinterest-ing). With the knowledgeable team at RILC you will be in the best hands the industry has to offer and they will help make your entire experience the best ever.

The moment that we stepped foot to visit the venue we knew that would be the place we would get married and have our reception. Throughout the planning process Heather (our wedding coordinator) was so incredibly helpful and informative. Anytime I would send her an email she would get right back to me. The tasting experience was great, we were able to bring our family with us to try the food, which helped us make some decisions. The food is OUTSTANDING! The cocktail hour (and a half) is more than enough food - everyone loved the bacon station! Dinner and dessert were great too. We spent the whole day at RILC getting ready in the bridal suite, they had mimosas, tea and coffee, breakfast and lunch for us. The bridal attendant Rachel was perfect! She made the whole day so comfortable. Anytime I turned around Rachel was there with whatever I needed and I didn't even have to tell her, it's like she read my mind. Our MaĂźtre D - Michael was spectacular! He made sure the whole day was exactly what we wanted. No matter what we needed or wanted Michael made sure it happened. The service was amazing..from Heather (wedding coordinator) who was so helpful and prompt to my many inquiries to the overall staff and Mike our Matrâd who was so nice & kept our drink glasses full! Literally the night of and the next morning and still 2 weeks later, all of our guests are raving about the food, drinks, and atmosphere !! My husband and i are hoping one of our friends gets married here so we can enjoy as a guest. Seriously tho, i am so impressed with the level of service. I was a bit stressed as Iâm sure most brides to be are during wedding planning but every time we came to Rock Island for an appointment or tasting i felt so at ease because they really take care of everything !! They were actually SO reasonably priced and really should be charging way more for the amazing service.From day 1 Heather has been an absolute angel helping to guide us on our way to planning our event. She was so easy to keep in touch with and made us feel comfortable going to her for anything we needed. The day of our event we had both Mike and Sophie who were literally by our side for anything we needed at all. At one point I went to look for my mother and mike stopped me and said no, you drink your drink I'll find your mom! Haha! Sophie was taking care of my wedding party from 9:00am until the party was over at 10:30pm and we all loved her so much. They treat you like family at this venue. You can tell that these people love doing what they do and that it's not just a transaction to them. I couldn't say enough good words about these guys. Thank you so much for making our night perfect.

Heather, the wedding coordinator, thinks of every detail and is in constant communication at all times. On the day of, my wife and I did not have to lift a finger or make one decision. They thought of and took care of EVERYTHING. Michael, our Maitreâ D, is a gem. I fell in love with Rock Island Lake Club from the moment that I walked through the door. I had a vision of an outdoor ceremony at a rustic and romantic venue, and RILC was all that and more! After falling in love with the site itself, we were blown away at how much they had to offer. The food options seemed endless and all of it was delicious. I chose to add on the bridal suite and I am so thrilled that I did. We had so much fun getting ready together and the room was gorgeous! The entire day was beyond perfect and the staff was incredible. Three people stand out the most during the planning process and our wedding day â Heather, Tina, and Mike. Mike, our maitreâd, was fantastic. He made sure that everybody was taken care of both before and during the wedding. The entire day ran seamlessly and he even made us a plate during cocktail hour to make sure we were able to eat! After the wedding, all of our decorations were organized and put aside so it was very easy to gather the next day. He was so kind and truly put us at ease throughout the whole day. Heather is everything that a bride could hope for in a wedding coordinator. Not only was she extremely thorough and fantastic at organizing and executing the perfect wedding day, she is also such a sweet and kind person. I was completely stress-free during the entire day â I didnât know that was possible! She was unbelievably quick to answer any questions. Tina was also an absolute saint on our wedding day. We booked the bridal package and I cannot put into words how attentive she was throughout the entire morning and evening. She worked tirelessly all morning making sure everyone had enough to eat and drink and making sure all of the dresses were perfectly steamed and then continued to work the entire night throughout the reception. I cannot put into words how much I appreciate the efforts of these three hardworking individuals. Our wedding was perfect and I cannot wait to be a guest at RILC in September!

We booked the bridal package and I cannot put into words how attentive she was throughout the entire morning and evening. She worked tirelessly all morning making sure everyone had enough to eat and drink and making sure all of the dresses were perfectly steamed and then continued to work the entire night throughout the reception. I cannot put into words how much I appreciate the efforts of these three hardworking individuals. Our wedding was perfect and I cannot wait to be a guest at RILC in September!

Quit reading reviews and get yourself to Rock Island Lake Club for an appointment, stat. You'll fall in love, just like we did the very first time we saw the venue. After our tour and lovely conversation with Ajay and Mike, we left to go home and discuss, information in hand. Not 15 minutes into the drive we called the venue and reserved our date. The vibe is just... special. Yes, it's classy. Yes, it's absolutely beautiful. Yes, it's rustic-chic (exactly what we were looking for). But what we really noticed and appreciated immediately was the level of comfort, the feel of 'home', the spirit of the staff who we now feel are lifelong friends. From day 1, we experienced the passion of people who truly love what they are doing. It's very rare nowadays to see that shine through so clearly. Weddings can be very stressful: it's the most momentous day of your life and you want it to be 100% perfect. So, the people you surround yourself on that day are vital, and we couldn't be happier with the level of customer service we received throughout the whole process. Heather, our coordinator, is not only the sweetest woman I've ever met, but was also extremely organized, kept us on track, and answered our many, many questions throughout planning. She was even willing to meet me after work near my office to go over our wedding details and additionally made special arrangements to design a custom floor plan for a very large guest count, DJ AND Band. Whew! Mike, our maitre'd, was an absolute godsend and the night ran seamlessly under his supervision. The flow was perfect and we were always guided to where we needed to be so we truly weren't worrying about anything. Speaking of worry: The morning of the wedding, my USB drive holding hundreds of photos to display on the screens corrupted. You can imagine my stress. :) Mike came up to the bridal suite and assured me that all would work out, truly calming any nerves I had. He worked with our DJ and saved the day mere hours before the ceremony, recovering the photos and creating a custom slideshow that looked awesome. This is just one example of the crew going \"above and beyond\". Martina, Rebecca, and Shelby, our day-of coordinators and attendants, were absolute pleasures to work with and were always in the right place at the right time, making sure we were on schedule, happy, well fed, and stress free. All of the bartenders and servers were top-notch, too. Like I mentioned, we had a very large guest count (182!) and not one of our guests was ever left needing or wanting a thing. That brings me to the food. Oh my gosh, the food. It was fresh, impeccably presented, and absolutely delicious. Our guests were extremely impressed with the creative stations and the sheer amount available for devouring. I really could go on and on here, but I hope this review paints the picture that Rock Island is wedding heaven. I'll end it with this: they think of everything. Truly. We had the wedding of our dreams at RILC. We wanted a rustic yet modern feel, and the facilities from the decor and detail to the lake were just so warm and inviting we had no doubt this was the venue of our dreams. Coupled with the fact that the staff reassured us from the first time we met them that theyâd do everything to make sure we were happy and that our friends & family had the most epic time at our wedding.. and they succeeded. From the amazing cocktail hour, the Moscow mule bar!!, the dancing, the dinners, the service in the bridal suite and groom suite beforehand.. it was top to bottom a flawless day with no errors or issues. From the start Heather worked with my husband (and our family) and I to ensure we were up to speed with planning and booking vendors, gave us suggestions, and answered all of our questions along the way.. and this was over the course of a year! As far as the day of, the staff was nothing short of amazing. I am a very organized and time oriented person and the staff made sure everything was arranged and set up how I wanted it to be, so I had no stresses or worries the morning of. They helped us stay on our timeline so that we could enjoy our morning getting ready in the bridal suite and still be on time for pictures, ceremony, etc. Tina was a godsend in the bridal suite.. steaming dresses, getting us drinks, helping corset my gown, and even doing last minute seamstress jobs on one of my bridesmaids dresses!!! Mike was also amazing that night, he catered to the guys the morning of, and coordinated an amazing time on the dance floor making sure everyone had a good time. He was fun and approachable and ensured my husband and I were happy and taken care of the whole night. The service was 110% amazing for us and we heard the same from all of our guests. Combine that with the amazing food and drink and atmosphere it was just an absolutely perfect day, one we will never forget. We know you will have absolutely no regrets or second thoughts booking here, it was a dream come true!! Now weâre just waiting to get invited to a RILC wedding so we can go back!!!

We got married on October 27th at RILC and it was the absolute perfect Autumn venue. My husband and I were looking for a venue that matched our style. We wanted something elegant yet unpretentious, and thatâs exactly what we got at RILC. What makes Rock Island so special is the fact that not only is it a gorgeous venue, but the service we received leading up to the day (as well as on the day itself) was excellent. Heather was such a joy to work with â I often joked and called her my Wedding Therapist â not only was she on top of every last detail, but she was also kind, patient and funny. On the day, Mike and had me at ease from the moment I stepped foot in the venue. He was always there when I needed him and there to make sure everything went according to plan. We also had bridal attendants who did a great job of looking after us; Martina was amazing and even helped sew my bustle to my dress at 10pm after it had been stepped on one too many times! Both my husband and I work in the restaurant industry and so for us, choosing a venue with amazing food was the highest priority. When we looked at their menu, we knew we had found âthe one.â Although as bride and groom we didnât get to eat as much as we would have liked on the day, all of our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour almost 3 months later. It was *that* good. Do yourself a favor and get the Bacon Station during cocktail hour - you wonât regret it. Our wedding day was absolutely magical and we are so thankful we found RILC! Now we are just hoping that a friend gets married there so we can go as guests! đ

I just got married at Rock Island this past September and I could not have had a better experience. From the first time I spoke with Heather on the phone to my parents showing up the day after with everything already packed up and ready for them to take home, everything was so smooth. Heather was extremely helpful in all the planning from day one, Mike was super accommodating when we would just stop in to take an extra peek whenever we were in the area (we live and hour and a half away so it was a hike). The venue itself was beautiful yet simple which allows you to make it turkey your own. We had a huge bridal party and they still managed to keep us on track and happy the whole night. I honestly have no complaints and wish I could do it all over again! The food was also amazing especially the cocktail hour with unique details and fun stations to chose from. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone!

This venue has been absolutely amazing to work with. When I first met with them to decide which venue I wanted to have my wedding at I was instantly blown away with how accommodating they seemed to be. And from that point on they have not disappointed me. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond for everything I wanted. On the day of my wedding they anticipated every single possible complication. They maitre dâs were wonderful. Margarita was with me from the beginning steaming my dress, helping me bustle it up, helping my girls in their dresses. She had to work extra hard with me but she was so great about the whole thing. Michael was over the top. He had such a great personality and was there for me and my husband for anything we could possibly need throughout the entire night. I truly felt like a princess. The only other thing I could ask for is that one of my friends has a wedding here so I can enjoy all the great food and enjoy the night as a guest. Iâm jealous that they got to enjoy themselves while I had so many responsibilities to take care of. The only thing I would change is that I wish someone would have been in charge of making sure my husband and I got the top tier of the cake back so we could freeze it and eat it on our one year anniversary. But literally every person I talked to said that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. And I would have to agree!

If I could offer you piece of wedding planning advice it would be to stop reading reviews right now and call Rock Island to book your wedding date. They deserve more than five stars for making our wedding day the perfect day we imagined. From our first meeting until the last minutes of our wedding day the staff at Rock Island made the process seamless. Heather is amazing at helping you figure out all the details leading up to your big day. She is happy to answer any questions and offer advice to help make your dreams a reality. Day of the staff is phenomenal! I highly recommend booking the groomâs lounge and bridal suite packages. Not only is it a gorgeous place to prepare for the big day, the service you will receive is wonderful. The food and drinks are great, the views are beautiful and the space is perfect (we had 10 of us getting ready in the bridal suite and it never once felt cramped). My husband and his groomsmen had a great time fishing, playing games and relaxing in the groomâs lounge. Tina and Mike and of course the amazing Jason (maĂźtre-de) are so kind and will go above and beyond to make sure you donât think about anything other than having the perfect day. Cocktail hour is flawless at Rock Island. We had numerous guests (young and old) share that it was the best cocktail hour they had even been to. Once we headed to the reception, everyone was up on the dance floor with only a stop to eat dinner (which again guests raved about). All of our vendors were recommended by Rock Island and they were perfect as well. We honestly had the best day/night of our lives and it is truly due to the effectiveness of the Rock Island staff and a maĂźtre-de who goes above and beyond to ensure you donât have to think of anything but having the time of your life. Every wedding invitation we receive will be opened with the hope that it is being held at Rock Island because we truly can't wait to go back!

I wish I could give this place 5000 stars. Before, during, and after our wedding, every single person at this venue did literally everything they could to make our day perfect. Their level of service is unparalleled, and their attention to detail is unlike anything Iâve ever seen.While the venue itself beautiful, with picturesque grounds and tasteful, rustic elegant dĂ©cor, itâs really the people there that make this place so amazing. The owner, Perry, is always making upgrades to the property. The coordinators, Heather and Jamie, were quick to respond and did so with an enthusiasm that made planning stress-free. The maĂźtre d', Jason, is a wedding ninja. Our day was executed perfectly under his leadership. The chefs, bartenders, and bridal attendant were all professional and lovely. Even the waitstaff is personable and well trained. Everyone who works there made us feel special.The planning process was a joy. They incorporated our family traditions and little details that made the space feel like it was âoursâ. They arranged every detail ahead of time and thought of everything, right down to the drinks weâd like delivered to us immediately following the ceremony. The wedding itself was executed seamlessly. Even last minute changes due to weather were handled calmly and confidently. It was obvious that the leadership at this venue clearly communicate to their extremely well trained staff, as nothing was overlooked. Rock Island handled all the timing of the day and made sure everyone and everything was in the right spot at the right time. My husband and I got married at Rock Island on 10/7/17 and I cannot say enough good things about this venue and their amazing staff. Heather was there every step of the way during the planning process and she was so helpful and really made us feel secure in knowing we chose the right venue. The day of our wedding Jessica, Martina, Heather and Mike went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect and that everything went smoothly. They felt more like friends and made a Rock Island feel like home for the day. So many of our guests are continuing to reach out to us to let us know how much they loved our venue and how amazing the food is! I couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else, they truly made our day perfect!

My husband and I got married at Rock Island on 10/7/17 and I cannot say enough good things about this venue and their amazing staff. Heather was there every step of the way during the planning process and she was so helpful and really made us feel secure in knowing we chose the right venue. The day of our wedding Jessica, Martina, Heather and Mike went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect and that everything went smoothly. They felt more like friends and made a Rock Island feel like home for the day. So many of our guests are continuing to reach out to us to let us know how much they loved our venue and how amazing the food is! I couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else, they truly made our day perfect!

My husband and I got married at Rock Island on 8/13. Our experience with this venue was amazing and our day was literally like a dream. Heather was incredible throughout the wedding planning and was always available to answer any questions that we had. She literally helped me stay sane. On our big day, Mike, Tina, and Jason were exceptional. My husband and I both got ready at the venue along with our immediate families and bridal party. Mike, Tina, and Jason made sure that everyone's needs were met and did not hesitate to make sure that everything would be perfect for our big day. We cannot thank the staff at Rock Island enough for all of their hard work. Jason is a gem and worked his butt off to ensure that nothing went wrong. After this experience, I truly think that he is a magician because every time I looked up, Jason was there and even had time for a few outfit changes. I cannot recommend this venue enough to anyone who considers booking it. Almost two months after our wedding, our friends and family are still raving about the food, which is a HUGE compliment coming from my Italian family members. Additionally, everyone in attendance has said that it was the best wedding that they've ever been to because Rock Island truly knows how to take care of their guests. Seriously, book this venue. We're already trying to convince our friends to get married there and are considering doing vow renewals in the future so that we can return. I feel like the luckiest bride in the world for the experience that Rock Island gave us. Jason, if you're reading this, you're the best and Rob and I feel like we owe you our first born for bringing our vision to life and helping us have the perfect day!

Thanks so much to everyone at Rock Island who made our wedding so amazing. The venue was originally more expensive than what we wanted to pay, but I am so glad we cut corners on other things to make the venue fit our budget! Between Heather's help along the way, and Jason thinking of literally EVERYTHING the day of, we knew our wedding was in good hands. I didn't stress at all during the planning or the day of- even when the weather took a turn for the worse- because Jason was there to make sure everything was taken care of seamlessly. He quickly set up for an indoor ceremony, but when the rain held off at the last minute, he and his team worked like magic to make sure the outdoor setup was ready to go. As promised, he kept a drink in my hand all night, and he was there to pull us aside when we needed to do things like cut the cake for our photos (things I easily would have forgotten about). The venue is picturesque in itself so it doesn't require many decorations, but the staff at Rock Island was so helpful in setting up anything we wanted to make the space our own. It's unique and perfect for anyone who loves a lake side wedding with the elements of the outdoors (fire pit, dock, water, greenery, beautiful rustic deck and decor) but also needs the nice amenities for their guests! I'm so glad I didn't go with my original plan of putting together a rustic outdoor wedding myself from start to finish- there's no way it would have been the success that Rock Island created for us. Our guests told us that the food and the venue were the best of any wedding they ever attended, and they said they had the most fun as well (which we already knew because they were dancing the whole time!). Itâs been a week since our wedding day and my husband and I are still riding high from the amazing time we had. That is all thanks to Rock Island and their impeccable team.Rock Island was the first venue we looked into a few weeks after we were engaged. We knew the moment we walked in through the front doors and met with Jason that this was the place we were going to be married. The venue is light, airy, and absolutely stunning. The food is phenomenal and plentiful (our guests are still talking about it).Throughout the planning process we worked with Heather; not only was she poised and professional, but we felt like she became a member of our family. She was communicative and proactive every step of the way. We felt taken care of and important. Rock Island was accommodating and wonderful to work with. They literally brought my wedding day vision to life in a way I never dreamed possible.I know that every bride thinks their day is perfect, but mine truly was. My dreams literally came true on August 11th. Not only were we so impressed with the professionalism and level of amazing service, but our guests were also. Rock Island has a way of making everyone who is part of your day feel important. We didnât have to worry about anything during the day of our wedding, which allowed me to be calm and cool the entire day. During our day there were so many staff members who took care of anything and everything we needed. We added the bridal suite package to our wedding which was one of the best decisions we made. My bridesmaids and I got to relax and enjoy each otherâs company while also getting our hair and makeup done at the venue. We had an amazing bridal attendant, Tina, who anticipated all of our needs. She made sure that we were fed, had music to listen to, our dresses were steamed and hung up properly, and got us any beverage - alcohol or not - that we wanted. She was a doll and we all absolutely loved her. During our ceremony Jessica was amazing with coordinating all of our details as well as making sure our officiant and ceremony musician had everything they needed. Throughout the day Jason and Mike checked in on us, made sure we had food and beverages and kept us apprised of what would be happening next. And Michael attended to my husband and me during our reception, constantly making sure we both had everything we needed.While everyone we worked with was absolutely wonderful, I cannot say enough about Jason, our Maitre dâ. We had the utmost confidence in him throughout our day. His professionalism and wonderful personality eased my nerves and stress and allowed me to be fully present. I was able to take in our whole day and remember each moment, because I knew he had everything under control.At the end of the night (after the wedding), they boxed up the top of our cake and all of our ceremony and reception items, washed our toasting flutes, took care of the bouquets that were left behind, and had everything ready for us the day after our wedding to pick up. We didnât need to worry about anything at all and I believe that allowed us to be present in our day with each other and our guests. To say thank you is just not enough. Words cannot fully express how grateful we are for our wedding at Rock Island. We would not hesitate to recommend this venue and its team to anyone looking to celebrate the biggest day of their lives.

I have never met a group of people more happy, more generous, more hospitable, more willing to serve, and more loving than the crew at Rock Island. I can honestly say my wedding day was the best day of my life, and I owe so much of that to Rock Island. From the second my fiance and I stepped in the door to the moment my husband and I ran out through a tunnel of sparklers, Rock Island treated us as family. I gladly handed over all of my bridal responsibilities to them with no doubt in my mind that they would bring my dream wedding to life. I will never forget how I felt that day - so loved, blessed, and carefree - and I owe so much of that to these guys. The beautiful ballroom overlooking the lake, the overwhelmingly delicious assortment of foods at cocktail hour, and the whimsical ceremony location with the dainty birch arbor speak for themselves - but a wedding venue is nothing if you aren't treated well, respected, and valued by its staff.
