A Historic Lodge, Built Upon A Bedrock Of Love
Couples can celebrate their wedding in the privacy of their own stunning New England estate at the Rockcraft Lodge in Sebago, ME. This historic venue offers a gorgeous setting in which to say ‘I do’. Guests will be struck by the natural beauty of the estate, as well as its lodge which blends modern style and well-established elegance. The Rockcraft Lodge has a long and storied past dating back over a century. Founded in 1921 by Leon and Dorothy Spaulding, this magnificent property was built with love and care by the couple. They oversaw the completion of many of its defining features from the glorious gardens to the distinctive fireplace which Dorothy designed herself. The lodge’s grounds offer couples the chance to exchange vows on a manicured lawn overlooking the serene blue waters of Sebago Lake. After the ceremony, they can wander down to the water’s edge for a romantic photoshoot on the pier. A marquee can be erected to accommodate a lively party of friends and loved ones as dusk falls and waves peacefully break upon the shore. Those staying overnight are in for a treat, as the lodge itself is one of Maine’s most stunning properties. The house is filled with natural light and decorated in a style that puts a contemporary, colorful spin on the classic New England aesthetic. Each of its rooms is full of character, from the playful patterned wallpaper of the dining room to the warm, wood-paneled living room. Adventurous guests will have plenty to do. Sebago Lake offers watersports and swimming, there are multiple nearby hiking trails, and there are even many ski resorts in the area. The Rockcraft Lodge’s staff offers couples a warm welcome and are here to help them celebrate the wedding of their dreams. They present the venue as a blank slate upon which couples can create a big day all their own. The management has also compiled a database of Maine’s best wedding professionals and will help couples to find outside vendors.

Rockcraft Lodge will forever be one of the most special places for us! It is an incredible estate that is meticulously maintained with the most beautiful grounds. It felt homey while also classy and sophisticated. The number of rooms allowed us to have our entire wedding party stay at the house the night of the wedding and it made our weekend that much more special. So many guests were blown away by the \"venue\". It was private and so beautiful. Even though we had to bring in everything to make the wedding day happen, it was entirely worth it!! The property manager was incredibly helpful and all went smoothly. This is an absolute Sebago Lake gem!!

Due to the COVID pandemic, my now husband and I had to completely replan our wedding to abide by state guidelines. We changed our wedding venue to Rockcraft Lodge a month and a half before our wedding and I am SO happy we did. They were so easy to work with even just a month before the big day! Rockcraft is the most beautiful place for a wedding. The grounds were perfectly manicured with beautiful landscaping and the house made for a perfect \"mini moon\". All of our wedding party even got to stay at the house for the weekend. All our guests were blown away with how beautiful the property was. We hope to rent Rockcraft again in the future with our close friends and family. We didn't want to ever leave!

Simply stated, Rockcraft Lodge was everything that my wife and I had dreamed of for our wedding day and we wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple!We spent months trying to find the right venue for us… we needed a venue with a combination of elegance and relaxation that would accommodate TWO brides, both of our wedding parties, and allow us to feel comfortable being ourselves on our special day! Karen immediately put our minds at ease with her excitement and willingness to host our wedding at Rockcraft! She was clear and prompt in all of our email corespondents, allowed us to visit the site multiple times to ‘get our vision’ for the space, and left a very thoughtful note for us in our ‘bridal suite’. Rockcraft lodge is an exceptionally beautiful home that offers everything a couple could need! We were able to host our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception, and day after brunch without a hiccup or though of needing anything more! We enjoyed working with the owner, Karen, and LOVE Rockcraft so much that we went back for our 1st anniversary! Two times in a row it was everything we wanted and more!

The Rockcraft Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding. It allowed us to create a weekend that was filled with fun and excitement in a location that is absolutely beautiful and classy. It was home to both our families and wedding party for the weekend, the venue for our rehearsal dinner, and it allowed us to relax the day after our wedding. We were able to take a beautiful venue and create the exact wedding we wanted without being tied to a menu, certain vendors or a wedding planner. The house was exceptional and offered everything we could have needed for the weekend. Karen made the whole process easy for us from the beginning. She was timely in her responses and very helpful throughout. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple. Worth every penny!
