What was once a fully functional dairy farm located just outside of Johnstown, Colorado has been given new life as a stunning wedding venue. Situated in a rural setting, The Rockin S Ranch is surrounded by views of the Rocky Mountains and an adjoining lake. The original 1950's dairy barn with beautifully landscaped courtyard, makes for the perfect setting for couples searching for a venue that combines the rusticity of the past with modern elegance. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. From the very first interaction with Chris and Rockin S, I was sold. She is so welcoming and energetic. Everything we asked for we got, she makes the whole experience so special and easy. We used the upstairs getting ready room and it was so spacious and cozy. The entire day was just perfect thanks to Chris and her day of coordinator (which is included in the price and so so handy to have)! I highly recommend Rockin S Ranch for your big day!

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. From the very first interaction with Chris and Rockin S, I was sold. She is so welcoming and energetic. This venue was an absolute dream for our special day. Chris and her staff are amazing and really went above and beyond in making sure we had the best possible time. There was a time when the wind came and blew off all our napkins on the tables we had just set and instead of getting overwhelmed, Chris guided me back to the bridal suite and told me to relax while her and everyone else made sure everything was fixed. I came out and everything was set just as it was prior to getting blown off! It was so amazing knowing I didn't have to stress about the little things because Rockin S Ranch made sure it was handled. My dress buttons snapped and thankfully Chris had a sewing kit that she allowed us to use to fix my dress right before going out! I loved feeling cared about and like Rockin S Ranch was just as invested in my wedding as I was.. it didn't feel transactional at all which is something that attracted me to the venue from the very beginning. Chris allowing us to use something as simple as a sewing kit shows how good her heart is and how she truly wants every bride to enjoy their day at her beautiful venue. Overall, it was an amazing experience and planning a wedding is so difficult and stressful but it was so easy to get information from the Rockin S Ranch that it made it just that much better and enjoyable! Communication was the best part of the planning experience. My husband and I truly felt cared about by Rockin S Ranch staff. Everyone on our wedding day complimented how beautiful, homey, and wonderful the wedding and atmosphere was of the venue. It was a beautiful day and I am so thankful we were able to celebrate at Rockin S Ranch!

This venue was absolutely a dream come true! The site is very well maintained and was beautiful for our early September rustic wedding. This was the first venue we toured when we started the search, and we fell in love with it immediately. Chris is so sweet and really cares about the couples she works with. They all really went above and beyond to make sure our day was as perfect as it could be. Highly recommend!

This venue was absolutely a dream come true! The site is very well maintained and was beautiful for our early September rustic wedding. I had my wedding here in September and it was absolutely perfect! The rockin s ranch staff made my wedding stress free and were so amazing. We loved Chris the owner, she was always available to answer my questions and was willing to meet or let me come look at the venue whenever I needed. We had our wedding at the Rockin’ S Ranch on September 23, 2023 and it was everything we could have wanted and more. Chris was so easy to work with from the day we signed our contract to the end of the wedding and Kelsey made our day so smooth! The preferred vendors list from Chris was also so incredibly helpful and we had the best vendors from her recommendations! The venue itself was stunning, with a view of the mountains, overlooking a pond, and beautiful areas for the ceremony and reception. We had a lot of family coming from out of town and Rockin’ S Ranch was the perfect combination of all of our favorite Colorado scenery. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue and more perfect day!

And don’t get me started on the new bridal suite Chris built… so beautiful and was so much fun to get ready in! This place is absolutely incredible! We are so blessed to have found this venue! Our wedding dreams came true! We fell in love with the rustic charm from the moment we pulled onto the dirt road. Almost like our relationship, we just \"knew\" it was our place! This venue is so beautiful, the view of the mountains just adds to the charm and beauty of the building. The new bridesmaid/groom suite is the perfect addition to the ranch! Chris is the best owner - she is so kind and amazing at what she does! SO many of our guests have complimented us on the venue and view! If we did it again, we'd pick Rockin' S over and over - it was the most PERFECT day of our lives!

Rockin S Ranch is such a beautiful place to have a wedding. We visited over ten venues and once we came here, the search was over. The property is amazing, the sunsets are beautiful, and the setup is unique. What sold us was how incredible Chris is though. She is awesome to work with, she put us first, she was very easy to communicate with, and she had a ton of valuable consultative recommendations. We planned our wedding through the pandemic and had to postpone for a year. If it weren’t for Chris, our wedding would not have come together as amazingly as it did. The Day of Coordinator, Kelsie, was also great. She helped bring everything together and her attention to detail is unmatched. If you want an outdoor Colorado wedding with a view of the mountains and breath taking sunsets, then this is the place to go. Rockin S Ranch has connections with a variety of vendors, all of which were great to work with. The Comfort Suites nearby even offers a shuttle to and from the property!

The Rockin' S Ranch is a dream. From the moment we laid eyes on it we knew it was our venue. It had the rustic, Colorado feel we loved, but it was clean, well kept, and the perfect amount of \"glam\" with its crystal chandeliers and beautiful bridal suite. My Husband and I got married there June 27th of 2020 and although it was in the middle of the pandemic, Chris, the owner, worked with us tirelessly to make it work so we could still have the wedding of our dreams. We looked at a lot of venues and no other place compared to this one with how things were run. Being a smaller, privately owned venue, you don't feel like you are constrained by the strict rules that most corporately owned venues put on you when they are shuffling you in and out to get the next Bride and Groom in. Chris gives you the freedom to make your day exactly how you want it and we could not be more happy with how it all turned out. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough for any Colorado brides or even destination brides. If you are looking for mountain views, big open space, the \"ranch\" feel, and the \"family\" experience while planning your wedding, this is the place for you!

The venue was great, and while we were looking to do a 200 person wedding here, due to the current environment we scaled it back to 30 and were still able to have an amazing wedding. So whether its a large or small wedding this venue can accommodate all. Chris and Team were great to work with and one of the reasons we signed up to use the Ranch in the first place. I would highly recommend the Ranch to anyone looking for a rustic, mountain wedding feel close to the city.

Choosing the Rockin' S' Ranch was by far the best choice we made for our wedding on August 8, 2020. The venue is by far the most beautiful in Northern Colorado. There are so many unique aspects that really highlight the beauty of being in Northern Colorado. There is a beautiful small lake that gives a dynamic view of the Mountains in the back ground. There is a small pond that allows for seating or a place for a fire pit. The repurposed dairy aspects are so nicely incorporated into the venue, it really is vintage chic. The attention to detail Chris has made to highlight the history of the venue not only add to the aesthetic but give you fabulous places for pictures. The bridal sweet with the dairy equipment mixed with chandeliers and the glass windows, was my favorite part as a bride. The service Chris and Kelsey provide is second to none. The love and care Chris has shown her venue, translate beautifully into how she takes care of her brides. From our first tour of the venue, to our midway check in, to dealing with all the back forth of COVID restrictions, Chris puts so much love, empathy and care into me as one of her brides. I felt so supported during these crazy moments that it made the day seamless once we were finally there. The preferred vendor list that Chris has curated, is so carefully chosen. She only chooses people that she knows will take care of her brides as they go through the booking experience. Every single one we used was phenomenal. Kelsey, her day of coordinator, made everything run so smoothly. She even took care to bring us our appetizers while we were doing pictures after the ceremony. I could go on and on about how incredible this venue is from look and feel but to the love and respect you get from Chris, the owner. We will always look back on our wedding as such a treasured day. Thank you Chris & Kelsey!

The bridal sweet with the dairy equipment mixed with chandeliers and the glass windows, was my favorite part as a bride. The service Chris and Kelsey provide is second to none. The love and care Chris has shown her venue, translate beautifully into how she takes care of her brides. From our first tour of the venue, to our midway check in, to dealing with all the back forth of COVID restrictions, Chris puts so much love, empathy and care into me as one of her brides. I felt so supported during these crazy moments that it made the day seamless once we were finally there. The preferred vendor list that Chris has curated, is so carefully chosen. She only chooses people that she knows will take care of her brides as they go through the booking experience. Every single one we used was phenomenal. Kelsey, her day of coordinator, made everything run so smoothly. She even took care to bring us our appetizers while we were doing pictures after the ceremony. I could go on and on about how incredible this venue is from look and feel but to the love and respect you get from Chris, the owner. We will always look back on our wedding as such a treasured day. The PERFECT wedding venue for my wife and I. A beautifully done, refurbished dairy farm, with a view of the Rocky Mountains and well kept area. We had our wedding this past June, and everything went off without a hitch. Was allowed to have food trucks, great vendor recommendations from Chris and the Rockin' S for bar service and flowers, and plenty of accommodations for our guests around the area. We toured a ton of venues around the state before making our decision. The Rockin' S was the first one we visited. After our numerous tours of all other venues that fit the mold for what we envisioned, none of them came close to the Rockin' S, and I'm SO glad we were able to get married there. Highly recommend this venue if you're looking for an updated country vibe for your wedding!

Love this venue!!! We got married here in August and everything was perfect. There was so much space for a welcome area with food and for a casual entrance for our guests, space for a food truck, and a ton of space for dancing. The view of the mountains is unbeatable, especially at sunset, and the setting of an old dairy barn looks phenomenal in our wedding photos. Everything was perfection.

If I could give the Rockin S Ranch 10 stars I would!!! Chris is absolutely amazing to work with, she is probably one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with! She even brought me and my girls mimosas, cheese and crackers to snack on while we were getting ready! Her venue is absolutely beautiful and doesn’t hardly need any decorations added. I only wish the party could have lasted longer because everyone was having such a wonderful time at our wedding! I’ve already recommended this place to a few other people! My daughter's original wedding venue was closed due to a permitting problem 9 days before our event. We found the Rockin'S Ranch was incredibly open for our date. Chris, the owner, was so gracious and genuine. We felt so fortunate to have ended up at her venue and in hindsight, I'm so glad that our venue cancelled us because our guests would not have had the experience they did, nor would we have been so happy as to how the wedding turned out. Most of our guests were from out of state and were in awe of the incredible view of the Front Range from anywhere on the property. We had ample time in between ceremony and reception for the guests to enjoy games in the lawn area, take incredible pictures of the view and family, and explore the creek and pond. We received so many compliments about how beautiful everything was and that was due to the beautiful simplicity that Chris has created in the old dairy barn and surroundings. Our wedding day was truly amazing and an experience there was something I would not trade with anywhere else. The venue has such a clean white vibe that seems to look great with modern touches, but also looks great with rustic decorations. We had a food truck that was super easy, fun, and accessible, a jazz trio, and even alpacas! The 50's dairy farm overlooking the front range is just a unique experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to combine beauty and outdoors.
