This venue was the perfect space for our June 2022 wedding! The outside meadow was kept SO green and it is so spacious - as well as the indoor seating. We loved working with Teresa and she made sure everything went smooth before and during our wedding. The staff was amazing, at assisting us whenever we had questions. My bridesmaids absolutely loved the bridal sweet and the groomsmen had a blast in the grooms tent. I am always getting complements on how perfect and wonderful everything was, especially the service and the food. Rockin’ Tj ranch had recommendations of businesses to use for cake, hair and make up, dj . limo services and photographers which were all great! I will highly recommend this venue to friends I know getting married.

My husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Bozeman, MT and chose Rockin’ TJ Ranch as our venue. The venue itself is very nice and we loved that a creek went through the property. Throughout the year of planning we had a difficult time getting ahold of the venue. We found that emailing is the best way to communicate with them and they would respond within a week for the most part. Teresa, the owner, had set up our one month final consultation to go over the final head count and all of the other little details. The day of our appointment she never called us. We tried calling her but she did not answer. The next day she rescheduled the meeting and called us 45 minutes after our scheduled time. When we received our final invoice there was a charge for 85 guests for food when we were only having 60 guests. I had told Teresa multiple times we were only having 60 guests but she kept insisting anything we over paid she would pay us back. I did not see the need to over pay so I talked to the bookkeeper and she had the invoice changed to 60 guests. Two days before our wedding, I reconfirmed with Teresa that she would still be able to pick up our cutting cake and cupcakes from the bakery the next day and she responded she would. The night before our wedding, I received a call from the owner of the bakery and said our cutting cake and cupcakes were never picked up. He was closing in twenty minutes and was closed on our wedding day. He stated he could not get a hold of our venue. Thankfully the owner of the bakery was able to drive our cutting cake and cupcakes to the venue and a groundskeeper let him in. On our wedding day, the day of concierge told me the shuttle arrived but we did not order a shuttle. Teresa charged us a day of cancelation fee for the shuttle even though I stated from the beginning that we did not want a shuttle. I have attached screenshots with dates stating we did not want a shuttle. In one email from Teresa, dated 7/17, she even put “Cancel Classic shuttle” because she ordered it even when we told her not to. In the letter I received in the mail it stated “did not cancel until 4 days prior to event”, our wedding was 8/14. I have been trying to get a hold of Teresa but she has yet to respond. I have only been able to get ahold of the bookkeeper who said she told Teresa about it and she would be in contact with me. It has been 3 months of waiting for a response to figure out the shuttle issue. On our wedding day, Teresa was also very set on us having a head table even though we expressed that we wanted a sweetheart table. After asking multiple times she finally took the head table down. We would never recommend this venue to another couple.

We had the best wedding imaginable at Rockin TJ! The setting is beautiful and the outdoor dance floor and reception area is amazing. The staff was wonderful help for setup and cleanup. The newly renovated bridal suite is beautiful and had everything we needed!Our guests are STILL talking about how good the food was. We had their steak, salmon, strawberry spinach salad, asparagus, and pasta primavera. I wish they had offered a way to bring leftovers home. My only other qualm was the microphones not working during the ceremony but honestly not a big deal at all. All in all, I’ll never get married again but if I did, I would use this venue for sure. No wedding is perfect but this place made it pretty damn close.c.gilligan87 at gmail is where you could reach my if you had questions or wanted more details! I remember wishing I could ask a fellow bride questions about venues when I was looking.

I’d like to preface this review, that the wedding turned out perfect and the final result was incredible. When we visited Rockin TJ, we fell in love with the place. The grounds are beautiful and very well taken care of. The views of the Bridgers are exquisite and we knew that this would be the best place for our wedding. During the planning process, it was all pretty straight forward, however, at times it was difficult to get responses from them. I’m under the impression that they do this all the time and have it down to a science, but as two people trying to plan the wedding the lack of communication was at times a bit disconcerting. Another piece that was appealing for us was leveraging all their existing relationships with vendors to help streamline the process. We were introduced to the DJ (Kyle @ Mach1 - who was awesome and helped execute a great evening) and a florist we opted not to use. All of the other vendors we were supposed to hear from were silent. Alas, we had to reach out and find our own photographer, make-up artist and hairdresser, because the people they mentioned would reach out to us, never did. This was a blessing in disguise because we ended up with a great photographer (Merissa Lambert), make-up artist (Jesi from Just for You) and hair dresser (Sarah from Hush Salon). Again, these are little hiccups, but I think is worth noting so proper expectations are set. The day of the wedding was perfect, and Payton their wedding coordinator was great! They made sure that the day was exactly what we wanted. The food served at the reception tasted great and all guests were giving compliments. The bartender was awesome and made sure everyone had full drinks. One thing I noticed, was it appeared that Teresa was giving a tour during our reception as there was a couple walking around with her in casual clothes, but I could be mistaken.We were super lucky to have great weather, so dancing outside was so much fun, the location and backdrop are gorgeous. Overall, the end result was perfect and I would recommend Rockin TJ to any of my friends and family. Minus the small things that took place during the planning part, it was a perfect experience.

We just had our wedding at Rockin' TJ in December of 2018. It was beautiful. The day was everything we could have hoped for and more. This was absolutely our dream venue! Stunning views and beautiful patio, we could not have asked for more. The Best Montana Wedding Venue! Along with the Rockin’ TJ being an absolutely stunning venue for a Montana Wedding, the owner (Teresa) and her staff go above and beyond to make your big day absolutely perfect. All of our guests were WOWed at the beautiful views, the food, the grounds, everything! We had a perfect day that went off without a hitch thanks to the staff at Rockin TJ. I was planning our wedding from another city and having the great staff available to help plan as well as the more inclusive packages was incredibly helpful. There were a few issues where we made plans for conference calls and then no one was available for those calls however over all I was happy with the experience.

I was a nervous bride and Theresa made the entire wedding day flawless! She exceeded all of my expectations. The wait staff were so friendly and helpful. We served two meat entrees at our wedding and Theresa had the kitchen make custom salads and entrees for my bridesmaid and I because we don't eat meat. Kyle the MC was AMAZING! We had a live band and were not sure if we needed him, but I'm so glad my new husband knew how essential Kyle would be. Kyle knew how to make the evening flow from the ceremony to cocktail and hors d'oeuvres to dinner and on to the live band. He had great music during the bands periodic breaks. Kyle was absolutely necessary for making everyone aware of what was next on the evenings schedule. The limo service for our guests was one of my favorite add on's. We had three limos giving our guests rides both to the event and from. Everyone felt so special, and those who wanted to drink had a safe ride home. Theresa and her staff were so professional and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make everything amazing for everyone there. Thank you for making my wedding day so special and easy.

I wish I didn't have to leave a negative review, but brides and grooms need to be aware of the experience I had. My husband and I viewed the venue 9 months before the wedding date. The owner was so sweet and kind, at first, then it was hard to get ahold of her and when I did her responses were short, sometimes rude. We paid over 20k for my wedding and they failed to put up a s'more station that was paid for! The owner and staff started cleaning up around 9:00 I had the venue until 12:00. I had 5 drinks thrown away that were on the table, not dance floor, many of my guests had the same happen to them. My mom had a custom dress made for the wedding and one of the cleaners literally hit my moms dress with the mop. I felt VERY rushed!! Long story short, keep track of EVERYTHING!! Oh and the bartenders attitudes are AWFUL!

Beautiful place, I will give it that! Rude, Rude, Rude!!! I would highly recommend getting a lawyer to read the fine print in her contract. If there are any changes to the contract prior to event, she will try to add more and more to the bill. Watch your cc statement through out the process. Who seriously pays for catering and does not get to take the remaining food home? After guests ate dinner, they started cleaning up the facility like they were shutting down. How disconcerting to the guests who travel near and far for the \"special event.\" Cleanup should not be done during special events (i.e., wedding reception), it should be done the following day. I have never been to a reception where drinks were taken from the hands of those on the dance floor, yes I am being serious! Who does that? When you book the venue, you will have to put this venue on your homeowner’s insurance policy (no lie). So if someone was to fall and get hurt on the premises, it would go against your homeowner policy, not there's! Also you will pay for a babysitting fee, don't do it...Babysitter made comment that they were trying to \"corral the kids\" so the parents could have fun. Great that they wanted to let the parents have fun. Who throws crayons in closet to try to corral kids? Today's day and age, that is called abuse!!! Finally, read the fine print!

Great that they wanted to let the parents have fun. Who throws crayons in closet to try to corral kids? Today's day and age, that is called abuse!!! Finally, read the fine print!

So, first off I need to say that my wedding was beautiful. Decorations were perfect, food was amazing, and music was on point all night. With that being said, there were a few things that came up the day of, that I wish would have been translated better. We supplied our own bar, out of our pockets. I specifically asked for NO hard alcohol, for personal reasons. I shouldn't need to explain my request, since we stocked it all. Someone initially tried to stock a full bar. After a gentleman was VERY rude to my sister in law, it was taken down. Come to find out at the end of the night, the bartender was not included in our contract (news to me since it says \"staff \" on our agreement), he had a personal tip jar because his vehicle broke down, and he was secretly serving patron behind the counter to people who tipped him enough. Not to mention the multiple people who approached me saying they saw him taking money from the till and adding to his own pocket. Anyways, point of my review is to help someone in the future and make sure EVERYTHING is covered in your contract, and do not have a cash bar. It ended up costing us more than half of our honeymoon donations to pay for the bartender and the alcohol he served after I asked them not to.

Teresa and her team truly worked hard to make our wedding day special. The venue is beautiful and the food was great. Teresa was very hands-on and we truly appreciated all the work she put into making our wedding reception exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend this venue to couples whom are looking for a beautiful venue surrounded by a team of hardworking people. We are so thankful!

We had a fabulous time at the Ranch! If you just want to show up and not lift a finger, this is your place to get married. Teresa and her staff did everything which was such a relief as we were planning the wedding from afar for a few months. From cake, to DJ to limos, hair and make up, food, flower, linens and gorgeous scenery, she has everything you need. Her and her staff are efficient and they know what they are doing. We explained to the owner first meeting our budget and that it was tight and we had to keep it very close. She was amazing at keeping it at budget and awesome about responding to questions and revising contract until it fit our needs. Rockin TJ Ranch is such a truly GORGEOUS place and a place that is very difficult to put into words…it’s a place you MUST experience in person and see how magical it is for yourself. My husband and I got married there July 2015. It has beautiful scenery of the mountains and WONDERFUL landscaping. Everything was so rustic chic. There were many places a couple could have a backdrop for the ceremony in the meadow. We danced on the patio with the new bar area and it was more than I could have ever imagined. The girls got ready in the bridal suite and it had all of the amenities. Salon chairs, microwave, a small refrigerator, two rooms to get ready in and a bathroom. AND it has a backyard. The guys got ready in the newly updated groomsmen room. There are very large areas for parking. Volleyball nets, baseball bats, fire pit, horseshoe pits, anything your guests could ever want! And believe me, kids and adults enjoyed them, alike! We used most of our own decorations and services. Although the Ranch suggested specific vendors that they would contact to provide services (they would forward them my contact information) very few actually got a hold of me. We did use the house DJ and Kyle from Mach 1 was fantastic and very easy to work with. My grandparent-in-laws rented the house on site for a week and they enjoyed themselves very much. I would recommend calling the Ranch, as getting a hold of them via e-mail seemed to be difficult at times. I initially wanted to do most of my communication through e-mail (was planning out of state) just so I could have all discussions in writing. I could only get most communication through phone calls, though. These issues aside, I’ll have nothing but fond memories of Rockin’ TJ Ranch for the rest of my life!

In our case, it rained right up until about 20 minutes before the outdoor ceremony was to begin, but, no worries, Teresa and her very friendly and professional staff took care of everything. It was amazing, and the day was perfect!! We also chose to use their catering service and the food was beyond delicious. The green bean and bacon shooters served as an appetizer and the late night snacks were a particularly delightful touch!! Throughout the night family and guests continued to congratulate and compliment on how wonderfully everything turned out. We would highly recommend this venue for whatever your event may be. For example: are the water bottles are set out for the ceremony or will the cake will arrive on time? Both of these aforementioned events happened without incident, but my point is this is not what I wanted to think about during our big day. The event was glorious and the scenery was better than I had imagined. Teresa did a wonderful job creating a day that my HUSBAND (this never gets old) and I will remember fondly. Thank you Teresa and staff for all the hard work on one of the most special days of our lives. Having grown up in Bozeman and being familiar with the variety of venues in the area I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting the quintessential Montana wedding.

The Rockin' TJ Ranch is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are very well kept with trees and flowers all over and a creek that flows through the property. The owner and staff were very friendly and so good at their jobs that planning was easy and on my wedding day I didn't have to worry about anything, they had everything under control. I used their catering service and the food was delicious. I cannot thank the owner and staff enough for the amazing experience, their kindness and for making my wedding better than I could ever have imagined. No matter what event you're planning I would recommend you choose this amazing venue.

I want to make sure that no other couple has to suffer through the shady and disgusting back handed business practices and the poor service my husband and I had to endure. Recently got married here this summer and I just wanted to share my problems with everyone else. The venue is pretty, but the lady that owns and operates it is very hard to work with and very very disorganized. I'm a pretty laid back person and the things that happened to us, I should say still happening because it's not over yet are horrible and you shouldn't have to go through this for your wedding. We wanted to back out one month after we had signed once things got a little sketchy but we couldn't Because we were told we Would be out our whole package price which was around 12 grand. So we had to stick it out and make the best of it. Like the previous reviewer had stated she wants money in full for EVERYTHING. Also she charges for every little thing. This lady half the time I would call and she would be sleeping and I would talk to her regarding plans for our wedding and then a couple weeks later she had no clue what I had said and colors were wrong and it was a disaster. Our package price has been wrong for quite saome time, we over paid her and still we haven't seen our refund back or heard from her so pretty flaky if you ask me. I don't want it coming down to seeking legal action but we might if we don't see it soon.
