The staff and event space at Rockledge Gardens was outstanding! I highly recommend them for any event you are planning. Their staff was super friendly, quick to answer questions, and had amazing communication leading up to our wedding! The venue itself is beautiful with natural beauty with all the plants. The event space also has festoon lights and a fire pit which add an additional magical feeling to any evening event. Our day was perfect and I can't thank Rockledge's Staff and our vendors enough for making it so special and seamless!

The staff and event space at Rockledge Gardens was outstanding! I highly recommend them for any event you are planning. Their staff was super friendly, quick to answer questions, and had amazing communication leading up to our wedding! The venue itself is beautiful with natural beauty with all the plants. When I first spotted this place online, I had a feeling this venue was the one. When I took the hubby, he immediately agreed. The gardens were absolutely gorgeous and well tended and gave our wedding the casual feeling we were looking for. Not being locked into their vendors made our wedding so much more affordable and really allowed us to customize.Our day was exactly as we pictured, not a hair out of place, and the Rockledge team made that a reality. The two vendor coordinators we had were very attentive and together with our day-of coordinator, fixed a whole host of things that went wrong. They say something will always go wrong on your wedding day, but from our perspective, everything was absolutely perfect, because they took care of it.If I planned a wedding again, there would be many things I did differently, but I would have picked this venue every time. Thank for Rockledge Gardens for the beautiful day.

The venue was gorgeous and the pictures we've gotten so far are beautiful, but that's where it ends. The customer service was abysmal and despite actively trying to be a carefree go-with-the-flow bride, I felt incredibly stressed and unwelcome by the coordinator. On our rehearsal day we were running late, having met with our officiant beforehand to go over vows. We made up for lost time and finished up by closing at 4, but as my cousin was leaving the bathroom she heard the coordinator, Yasmeen, talking crap about us. Two minutes after closing, we were standing outside the bridal suite trying to discuss our dinner plans and were approached by multiple people (at least 3 that I know of) with extremely rude and uncalled for threats to lock us in the gates. I paid several thousand dollars to have my wedding here, rehearsal included, and no one was willing to give us even 2 minutes of grace. The day of the wedding, I arrived to find that the chiavari chairs I paid $500 to upgrade to were not there. As nicely as possible, I asked the coordinator what happened and her response was extremely rude and accusatory, arguing that I had never agreed to or paid for the chairs and that there was no way they could get them there on time. Trying to go with the flow, I said that's fine, I'd just like a refund, which she continued to argue I would not have. Finally, I convinced her to go look at her paperwork and magically she found where I'd both paid and confirmed colors and suddenly they were able to get the right chairs in on time. This was completely unneeded stress that a competent and respectful coordinator wouldn't have put on us. We were also told multiple times throughout the planning process, and confirmed less than a month out, that the vendor would be removing the ceremony chairs so people could play lawn games. When they were not removed, we asked about it and they acted like we were stupid because \"that was never part of it.\" I've talked to multiple unrelated guests since then and all have said that the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful to them. We used to love shopping at Rockledge Gardens but now we can't face going back as the thought of dealing with anyone from there after the way we and our family and friends were treated leaves a pit in our stomachs.

Absolutely in love with this venue! We were head over heels once we toured the grounds and saw they were everything we didn't know we wanted. We had the perfect weather in January for an outdoor wedding and it such a beautiful night, especially once the sun went down and the lights came on! We didn't have to decorate much since the site is so pretty already and there were plenty of blooms for us even in the middle of winter. Both Jessica and Yasmeen were professional, even with a scheduling error, they managed to work with us to set it right. If we could do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing.

Just had our evening wedding reception on Saturday, February 19th at Rockledge Gardens. We loved this venue so much and so did all our guests. It was a chilly night so the fire pit filled up with people and was a great addition. The lighting all around the gardens just makes the place come to life at night, not to mention all the gorgeous plants and flowers and trees. Staff were helpful and easy to communicate with and able to promptly answer any questions or concerns all along the way during the planning process. Would highly recommend having your event here!

We absolutely loved everything about this venue. The event staff couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful in the months and weeks leading up to it to make our day run perfectly. I loved that we could customize our floor plan, decor, and rental options to make it feel so “us.” The set-up was absolutely beautiful, and they worked with our other vendors to ensure everything went on without a hitch. Rockledge Gardens is incredible! Their facility is simply magical and you have access to the entire grounds for all the beautiful photo ops - secret and known - throughout. The staff is absolutely amazing. They were so attentive in the planning process and so flexible with our schedules and desires. They have a private wedding room available for your wedding party to enjoy throughout your event time and it is delightful. They even met with me about any possible concerns or questions I may have had before I booked with them and that was the main deciding factor for me - willing to meet even without a business contract but also that they were so helpful throughout the entire process. Seriously - best place for a wedding or reception.

My sister & brother in law got married there a year ago and as soon as we got engaged we knew we had already found the perfect place. Our wedding day had a 75% chance of rain and Jessica told us not to worry, they had a \"plan b\" and it would be perfect. Luckily the rain stopped just in time for the ceremony and picked back up at dinner time. Despite the rain it was absolutely perfect. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Can't wait to attend more weddings there!

Rockledge Gardens is such a beautiful, enchanting venue! They have an amazing team! Liz, Tricia, and Jessica were all fantastic! Very detail oriented and professional! We had the best experience working with Amanda and Jessica from Rockledge Gardens! Both of them were extremely responsive and helped guide us every step of the way. As soon as we saw the venue, we knew it was exactly where we wanted to get married. It’s so magical and had the perfect vibe for what we were looking for. We decided to go with a band instead of a DJ and were worried the band wouldn’t fit, however there was plenty of space for a 5 piece band as well as our tables and 100 guests. The night couldn’t have been more perfect, and the staff is amazing!!!

We had the best experience working with Amanda and Jessica from Rockledge Gardens! Both of them were extremely responsive and helped guide us every step of the way. As soon as we saw the venue, we knew it was exactly where we wanted to get married. It’s so magical and had the perfect vibe for what we were looking for. We decided to go with a band instead of a DJ and were worried the band wouldn’t fit, however there was plenty of space for a 5 piece band as well as our tables and 100 guests. The night couldn’t have been more perfect, and the staff is amazing!!!

Rockledge Gardens is an absolutely beautiful venue with all of the amenities that we could ask for on our special day. The venue was only half of what made Rockledge Gardens so special. The staff/ wedding team was incredible start to finish in every way. They made the planning process as stress free and flexible as possible, and on wedding day they had staff present to make sure everything went smoothly to ensure we could really enjoy our wedding. Rockledge Gardens was the perfect venue for our wedding! For how affordable it was, they were incredibly professional, communicative and helped everything run smoothly. We had a destination wedding and they made it so easy to accomplish this from across the country. Amanda, Tricia, Jessica, Liz and Todd are all such lovely people who truly care about helping you make your wedding perfect and as stress-free as possible.

The natural greenery/beauty of the venue really stood out and we didn't need a lot of decorations (a plus since, again, we were planning from out of state and limited on how much we could do ourselves). Amanda, Tricia, Jessica, Liz and Todd are all such lovely people who truly care about helping you make your wedding perfect and as stress-free as possible.

Rockledge Gardens made our wedding unique and special. Liz and Jessica were very kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process. They always answered our questions promptly. We were in between two venues and ended up choosing Rockledge Gardens because of their down to earth attitude and customer service. It was also a meaningful venue for us as it is an educational and nature-focused space. We heard many compliments from guests about our unique wedding and venue. Rockledge Gardens allows you to customize your wedding in many ways. We did not want a DJ but they have a great sound system that you can plug and AUX cord into and be your own DJ. They are flexible with catering and other vendors, allowing us to bring in a Syrian food caterer from Jacksonville who grilled kebabs for us on the property. We also had 6 rescue dogs walk down the aisle with our wedding party and attend the wedding. Our theme was very colorful and international and they allowed us to hang garlands over the cocktail space. I also wanted a non-traditional floor plan and Jessica helped me map it out and make it happen. We had a huge wedding party and Jessica and other staff helped keep everyone on track. Sustainability is important to us and they helped us with compostable and recyclable containers for waste. Guests enjoyed playing the yard games they have including giant jenga and cornhole. They also have great options like live plant centerpieces and favors. Liz and Jessica can also offer vendor recommendations if you need a starting point! We ended up using several of their recommendations including The Lemons Photography and Kimberley Tucker wedding coordinator. Evenings are beautiful at the gardens, and you really don't need much decor as the plants and flowers speak for themselves. Highly recommend Rockledge Gardens for your wedding or event! With that being said it was so intensely difficult to not only find a venue but that venue to be available in a months time. When I first heard about the possibility of having a small reception at this dream location I started crossing my fingers and praying. When I found that they were available for my wedding date, all the bridezilla stress and anxiety went away. Not only because this location is something out of a fairy talk but because the staff of the gardens were; in every sense of the word; amazing. Not to mention military family friendly! They tended to every request and gave several solutions to each problem that accrued. I’m still amazed at how each of the staff members genuinely wanted to make our wedding day the greatest day of our life! I will always be so incredibly thankful for Liz and the rest of the event team. For always being two steps ahead 24/7. Also for Shells Event Planning and Mimosas & Moonshine for all they’re hard work and small detailed touches. I’m still in awe of how spectacular the day and planning process was. I will always recommend this venue for any event.

Rockledge Gardens was the perfect venue for me and my husband to get married! Our wedding was in early March and all the flowers were blooming, it was gorgeous. There are a hundred beautiful backdrops for photos. When the sun went down, the string lights came on and the fire started and it just turns the whole venue into a magical place. All of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. Liz was great to work with and Jessica helped me so much on the day-of with last minute decisions and helping me with my dress. Thank you to all the staff, we had a wonderful day we'll never forget.

Just look at pictures and you’ll know—Rockledge Gardens is the perfect place to celebrate a wedding. On top of the beautiful space, RG’s Liz tied with my sister and mother for being the most responsive and helpful person in helping us plan our event. She was so thorough and answered questions we didn’t know we had. Six months later, we still sigh and smile at how beautiful the day was. Big takeaways:-Our wedding of 50 felt totally comfortable even though the space can host considerably more. -Our wedding was in the late afternoon, about an hour or two from closing. There’s customer activity in the garden center but nothing disruptive. In fact, I liked that the place felt alive. -Check with Liz and co. to see if plant design is still an option for your event. If it is, it is worth the very affordable price! The pros at RG will learn about your vision for the ceremony/reception, and if you have very specific ideas, they are happy to execute. In our case, RG learned that we a) loved color, b) trusted their decades of expertise, and c) didn’t want to make any decisions, so they took the reins on decorating. We are so happy they did.-The venue is so beautiful on its own that we barely needed flowers or other decor (save money!). This is particularly true if you let RG set up plants and flowers around the reception area. We just put a few simple flowers on the tables for color. -Although ours was a different-sex wedding, we chose RG because it was important to us to have a venue that welcomed all of our friends and family. -Pictures were important to us, and the venue is a stunning setting for portraits. -We had a small hiccup at the start of the ceremony (lack of clarity about who was cueing the start, music started early, party wasn’t lined up yet...). Since RG had a coordinator with me in a separate area and our family/wedding party had a coordinator down at the ceremony location, we thought RG would make sure everyone was lined up. Wasn’t a big deal, but we could have communicated better to make sure the start went off a bit more smoothly. Would recommend to everyone. Truly. Go get married here ASAP.

We couldn't have found a better spot for our December wedding! With a location close to the cruise port (where some of our guests joined us for a weekend extended reception), gorgeous venue, and a fantastic staff, we really couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day! (We even had the Space X launch go off right after we finished the ceremony!)Liz, in particular, was such a joy to work with. She's extremely responsive and goes above and beyond for her couples. We are so, so happy we chose Rockledge Gardens as our wedding venue!

We had our intimate wedding here. It’s the perfect place for a ceremony. The garden creates a wonderful place for such a special day. The reception is right next to the ceremony so it’s very beneficial. I love the lights and the little tiles area; made night time so beautiful.

I can’t say enough good things about this venue. Liz was amazing and very helpful during the planning process. If you’re looking for an outdoor venue that isn’t the beach in the Brevard County area this is the place for you. It combines the beautiful tropical florida foliage with a fun and relaxed atmosphere which we felt was just what we were looking for.

I love how everything is already so beautiful. I saved a fortune on decorating because I just love the natural beauty of the plants everywhere! The staff was lovely and my pictures are stunning thanks to lovely backdrops everywhere.

Our wedding here couldn't have been more perfect. The venue was beautiful. There was so much natural beauty in the plants all around to make everything really unique. The pavilion was awesome. The speaker system made it easy to play music and I loved the outside bar. But, what really made it perfect was the staff. They were there every step of the way making sure everything looked perfect and went smoothly. I couldn't imagine everything coming together so beautifully without their help. Everything looked great and went perfectly.

Ours was an LGBTQ wedding. You could not ask for a more open hearted and inviting staff than those at Rockledge Gardens. On top of the 100% support they have for all couples, that immediately set our minds at ease, \"The Harry and Mary Witte Learning Center\" pavilion where they host events is one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding that you can find in Brevard County. It was such a magical night that we are thinking of booking our One Year Anniversary party at the same location.

Saying our vows in front of our loved ones couldn't have been in a better setting. It was so beautiful and all our guests commented on how nice it was. This venue was a hidden gem. Everyone that works here went out of their way to make sure my day was special. There is so much beauty in nature and it was my \"secret garden\" that couldn't have been more perfect.

Meet the Rockledge Gardens Team
Jessica Castillo (Events Director) Rockledge Gardens was founded as a nursery and landscape business in 1960 by Harry and Mary Witte. They had six children and while all of them took turns working in the gardens, it was their youngest daughter, Theresa, along with her husband Kevin Riley, who made Rockledge Gardens their life’s work. Because it’s five acres of beautiful gardens, family friends would occasionally ask if they could have a small wedding at the nursery. Kevin and Theresa always said yes, and from time to time couples began their lives together among the trees and flowers.
