Just across the bridge from Hood River, OR situated on 13 acres of private property in White Salmon, WA, Rocky Hill Weddings & Events caters to all their client's needs in their rustic barnyard venue with modern elegance. Hold your ceremony on their tree deck that dives into the forest, host your dinner in their barn that balances rustic charm and modern elegance, and then dance the night away on their courtyard under the stars and string lights in the center of it all. The Rocky Hill property is designed to seamlessly move guests from one area to the next without going far, yet in each area of the property, you will notice the beauty of the forest, the stars, and the venue from all angles. For the couple, you will find two private bridal suites to get ready away from prying eyes. Guests can drive up to the property and park in one of their two parking lots where you take a short pathway through maple trees, ferns, and wild lilacs to the property. Vendors can pull up to the reception hall (barn) and directly to the courtyard for easy access to load in and load out. There is also ADA parking right outside the reception hall. Rocky Hill is also on private land surrounded by trees - no neighbors, highways, or public access. Rocky Hill was brought to life by the vision and love of one local family. Inspired by their children, and their weddings - they set out on the journey to build a remarkable & sustainable space for couples to celebrate their love amidst the beauty and nature. Laura & Alfredo, owners of Rocky Hill, maintain a commitment to preserving the integrity of the land. They understand the value of the trees in the area and see their potential to become an integral part of the vision for Rocky Hill. When building the reception hall they transformed trees that would have otherwise been tossed into the material that would become the main reception space. Every aspect of Rocky Hill from the reception space to the water fountains, landscaping, tree deck, and courtyard was hand-built by the owners. The reception hall is a marvelous standalone building with the comfort of a barn and the flare of a modern perspective inside, that attracts the eye to its mesmerizing structure. Open-air ceremonies on the tree deck, utilize the reception hall, the lawn, and the courtyard as a scenic backdrop when tying the knot. Afterward, couples can retreat indoors, where tables and decor line the modern barn's interior, inviting guests to engage in festive merriment, carefully crafted cuisine, cake cutting, wine, and dancing the night away. This modern barn can accommodate over 100 guests for indoor and outdoor-style celebrations.
