Barns with Rustic Charm and a Lot of Personality

Located in Raymore, MO, the Rogge Family Vineyard is a beautiful outdoor barn destination in the Kansas City metro area. Ideal for couples wanting a rustic-yet-chic wedding, this venue has plenty of charm to offer. Owners Craig and Nancy Rogge are pleased to host events March through November that become special memories for couples and their loved ones, all starting on Kurzweil Road. The on-site barns were originally built by Walter Kurzweil in 1944. As part of his dairy farm, these barns helped to sustain Walter through many seasons. Before his time, the property cycled through a few prominent owners in the Raymore community. After his time, this property finally fell into the hands of the Rogges. Both Craig and Nancy are pleased to offer their family-owned and -operated grounds for weddings and other social gatherings. For over 30 years, they have made these fields there home, and now they are opening it to couples and their loved ones. The event space has plenty of room for guests to spread out with beautiful outdoor space and two large spacious barns. One barn offers air conditioning or heat when the weather is hot or cold. The use of 13 eight-foot tables, 12 six-foot diameter tables, and 200+ folding chairs, as well as several colors of linens, have also been added to the venue at no additional cost. There are also many decor features available for use including a hexagon wood arbor, square wood arbor, 10 large white wooden lanterns, benches, whiskey barrels, wood spool tables, antique furniture, and a tremendous supply of decorations, and much, much more! The Rogge family encourages their clients to utilize the space available in a way that is meaningful to their wedding. Couples will have the opportunity to craft their layout, set up decorations as they please, and hire their choice of vendors. Whatever they choose, elegant to eclectic, Rogge Family Vineyard can be a sight to behold. Offered as part of the property rental, there are numerous points of interest scattered throughout the premises. Some of these include a brick silo, an old Chevy truck, and a classic wagon. Photography is welcome around any of these areas, enabling clients to have memorable keepsakes they can cherish for years to come. In addition to farmyard elements, there is a half-acre vineyard which holds a wisteria arbor and provides views of pastureland. To find out how this outdoor paradise can be incorporated into wedding plans, couples may reach out for a chat and tour.

Craig and Nancy Rogge Rogge Family Vineyard Owner Craig and Nancy Rogge (Owner)

Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for over 34 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Walter Kurzweil had deep ties to the Raymore community as well as had family connections to the Maxine Dean family (Walter was her Uncle), another prominent Raymore name.
