Rose Briar Place is a wedding venue located in Oklahoma City, OK. With over three event spaces to choose from, including indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options, there is something to suit every couple. Set amidst picturesque gardens and home to a banquet hall that exudes rustic refinement, you can curate your dream day with the help of a dedicated event team. At Rose Briar Place, you can enjoy all the goodness of a tranquil setting conveniently located in Oklahoma City. The outdoor chapel provides a fairy tale backdrop of rustic gardens, where guests can soak in the pretty scenery as you say âI doâ. Outdoor receptions are held on the grounds, where your vision is brought to life by an expert team. Everything from Chiavari chairs and monogrammed napkins can be arranged to your liking. Other decor accents provided on-site include candelabras, urns, and wine barrels. This place is wonderful!!! The venue is beautiful. It includes so many things, which saves you a bunch of money in the long run. Our day-of wedding coordinator Jessica was the best! She was so funny, easy to talk to, and really took into account what we wanted. I wouldâve been lost without her. (My family is kind of a mess and she was good at handling them so I wouldnât be stressed out haha!) Our DJ Scott was also great!! He has a wonderful personality, and really made our reception so much fun! The other staff at Rose Briar were also very kind and helpful. We felt well taken care of. I couldnât recommend this place enough, it was just great!!

Wow! Rose Briar Place was everything expected plus some. From the day we toured to the very end. My Husband and I are very go with the flow people. I had planned everything for the whole year prior. I think I actually over planned and over bought. There were some things I purchased & didn't realize the venue provided them. Little things that were not a big deal to return. We brought our own centerpieces, table runners & napkins. My family help set most of it up, but when getting ready came into play we kind of just left some things undone, but Kourtney would come check in with me to make sure it was set up how I envisioned it. We would have been completely lost without my day of coordinator Kourtney there directing us & making sure everyone was where they needed to be. Food was excellent & we received compliments about everything! How beautiful everything was, how organized things were & how everything flowed well. Grooms request is to have more \"to-do\" in the groom's suite & \"snacks\".

I got married here this past July. The venue was beautiful, especially outside at night. The food was great, we went with the comfort food buffet and everyone loved it. The cake was also delicious. We were also able to get a nice discount for booking before a certain date and during non-peak wedding months. As well as a teacher discount on our decor rentals. We were able to come in starting at noon to get everything set up and get ready for the ceremony at 6. The day of coordinator, Kourtney, helped everything run smoothly. Many of my guests were raving about the food and how beautiful the venue is. They offer both indoor and outdoor space for the ceremony and they do both year round. Overall, our wedding went well. However, there are a few things that did not go well and are still bothering me 2 months later.Rose Briarâs tagline, âYou bring the dress, we do the restâ, is misleading at best. When we first toured in January, we were told that the venue covered everything and we would be responsible for the alcohol, photographer, and flowers. But as things moved forward and we got closer to the wedding date we found out that this was not the case. At our 30 day meeting we found out that the venue does not include a bartender, and we would have to hire one off their approved vendors list, an additional $350 (or more depending on the type of bar service you want). This could have been a misunderstanding on our part, but the coordinator told us that we werenât the first ones to think that soâŠThey also do not provide the officiant, but were able to set us up with one, Jeff Cooper. He was very nice and did a great job with our ceremony. He asked to do a âblessingâ over our marriage and we agreed to that, but it ended up being a prayer which caught us by surprise since we asked for a secular ceremony. It wasnât a big deal for us, and did not detract from our day. The venue payment system needs a little work. You can pay online via PayPal or Venmo, but you donât receive a confirmation from the venue and you canât see your remaining balance. The reception felt rushed, like we didnât have enough time to do everything and talk to everyone even with only 50 guests. We were told it would end at 11 but the music stopped around 10:30.The Rose Tree Rentals had the perfect colored table runners for our color scheme. But their options seemed a little limited to us and they didnât have any centerpieces that we loved. But we were able to find centerpieces elsewhere that fit us.The nice thing is they donât force you to use their stuff, you can pick whatever fits you and your partner and bring in what you want. And they set up and tear down all of their decorations which is also nice and less work for you. My biggest complaint is about the DJ, Scott McLaughlin. Before the wedding, he sent us a prelude playlist and a dance playlist and told us we could add or take away songs to fit our music taste. My husband and I spent 2 weekends listening to hours of music to put together these 2 lists based on the two lists Scott sent us. Music is something that is very important to us not only as individuals but as a couple. Scott played the prelude list we sent, no problems. But when it came to the dance list, our choices were completely ignored. He did not play any songs that we added. I specifically asked for no country music but it was played anyway. It felt incredibly disrespectful of our time and effort. We also played the shoe game. I asked my maid of honor to look over the list of shoe game questions from the Scott to make sure there wasnât anything that would make me or my husband uncomfortable, as well as add some personal questions to make it special to us. Scott totally disregarded the questions she cut and asked all of them. Most of them were fine, but one was âWho has the crazier family?â, which is a sensitive topic for my husband, but Scott asked it anyway even though it was cut from the list. One of the added questions was about pokemon and during the game Scott asked, âIs that the game where you run around outside? Sounds like a good way to get shot.â I was shocked and found that a highly inappropriate thing to say at a wedding. The cake was through Katie Cakes and as mentioned above, the cake tasted amazing. I donât think Iâve ever had such good buttercream in my life. Unfortunately it did not look great, especially compared to some of the pictures on her website. I wanted stars on the top tier and flowers on the bottom tier, both turned out pretty meh. The gold stars were difficult to see on the white butter cream. She said she was going to use a stencil for the flowers but they looked like they were free handed. Like I said, the cake was delicious which is really the important part, it just didnât look the way I had hoped/envisioned. Our wedding ended up being fairly small, about 50 guests, and the reception space was the perfect size for that many people. They claim they can accommodate over 100 in their reception space but I think it would get very crowded very quickly.

If your looking for an All-inclusive venue, this is the one! Gorgeous venue, Staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the process. Our guest raved about the food. Kourtney was our coordinator. She made our wedding day go by smoothly and stress free. Highly recommend!

Rose Briar Place is so magical! They take care of the majority of big things for you, such as cake and dj. That helps a lot and makes it a little bit less stressful when wedding planning. Jen is awesome! She gave me the tour of the venue. She was so passionate and knowledgeable and friendly. Her customer service is terrific! Thank you so much for everything. I have been working with Kourtney to plan my upcoming wedding and it has been the best experience! Kourtney and her team at Rosebriar have been so easy to work with and helpful. I live out of state and can text, call, or email them and they always respond so quickly. They have made this planning experience a GREAT one and if youâre looking for somewhere to have your wedding, this place is AMAZING to work with. I had my 30 day planning and Rosebriar was so organized and had all my ideas I had sent them months prior. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I have been working with Kourtney to plan my upcoming wedding and it has been the best experience! Kourtney and her team at Rosebriar have been so easy to work with and helpful. I live out of state and can text, call, or email them and they always respond so quickly. They have made this planning experience a GREAT one and if youâre looking for somewhere to have your wedding, this place is AMAZING to work with. Rose Briar has been flawless from start to finish. I drove by this place before I even met my fiance and fell in love and I feel so honored I get to watch my dream wedding unfold here. The staff has been so kind and made me feel so at ease about this whole process. They make it so easy and take the overwhelmingness away from wedding planning. Our month of coordinator, Jessica, is the sweetest person Iâve ever met & helped with EVERYTHING! We had to move the ceremony indoors last minute and hadnât planned for it at all but she made sure it was perfect! She also helped me find vendors, organize everything, and hyped me up the whole time(: I love her & Rose Briar! Canât recommend them enough!

I am so glad I used Rose Briar Place as my wedding venue! Everyone was so kind and helpful and made our wedding day so effortless. The venue is beautiful and thankfully had a beautiful chapel as a back up option when it started to rain on our wedding day. Jessica was our coordinator and she was absolutely amazing and so helpful! Scott (DJ at Rose Briar Place) was also awesome and kept the party going at the reception! We had such a great time! I donât know where to begin! Rose Briar Place gives you such a great feeling as soon as you walk through the doors. The staff are all so kind and thatâs exactly what you want on your wedding day. My fiancĂ© and I are working with Jennifer and she couldnât be more helpful! These women care about their brides and I have no doubt in my mind that I will have a fabulous wedding day with their help! :)

The most perfect venue!! The staff was so professional and always quick to help. They truly want their couples to have the most perfect wedding day. Our coordinator, Courtney, was so helpful and patient with us throughout the whole process. Scott, our DJ, was a huge hit with music but helped keep the night running smoothly as well! Everything from top to bottom (both inside and outside) is beautiful and full of detail. Pictures don't do it enough justice. The food and cake were both amazing and exceeded my expectations! I can't say enough good things, I wouldn't have gotten married anywhere else!

I had my wedding at Rose Briar Place July 12th and everything was perfect. I am in nursing school and when they say bring the dress and they will do the rest is no joke. They went above and beyond for my wedding and made it absolutely perfect me, my family, and my bridesmaids did not have to worry about anything but getting ready and taking pictures. Rose Briar made my wedding a dream come true and I cannot thank Molly (our wedding coordinator from Rose Briar) enough for seeing the vision I had and making it a reality. One thing I wish Rose Briar did different was allowing couples to rent out the whole day instead or include more hours so the bride and the bridesmaids could do hair and makeup their because the bridal suit is so pretty. Other than that Rose Briar was perfect and I cannot thank them enough for making my wedding so beautiful.

The catering they use for the food and cake is very delicious and the cake was not only delicious but both cakes were gorgeous and I couldnât have been happier. The DJ they use is awesome also. He worked with my husband and me to help create the music playlist we were wanting since we have very different music tastes than what is normally played and it turned out amazing! I planned my wedding from out of state and did not want to DIY or buy a ton of wedding decor that I would have to worry about shipping home. They provide catering, cakes, DJ, a day of coordinator (I had Molly and she was fantastic!), and tons of rentals. I only had to worry about my dress, invitations, flowers and a few specialty decor, but otherwise they had it covered. This took so much stress off of planning. The only thing to consider when booking a venue that does everything for you is that thereâs not much flexibility- so if you want a DIY and to keep the party going all night, you may want to look for a venue only type place. We had a record high 64 degree day in Feb and changed to an outdoor ceremony about an HOUR before and they didn't skip a beat! All my guest complimented on how romantic the entire setting was with candles, twinkle lights and a long isle to walk down and soak in the moments. Between Danielle, who was my venue coordinator, and my bridesmaids, I literally had zero stress because EVERYTHING was taken care of before I had a chance to ask. It was the most stress free wedding I have ever been a part of and I am glad it was my own! I literally got to enjoy every minute of it so it wasn't over in a blur! I also want to give some recognition to Scott the dj that the venue uses. He kept everything moving seamlessly so there were no awkward pauses, weird silent moments or down time during the reception. My guests had so many wonderful things to say about the entire venue and Scott. You know its genuine when you hear the same things repeated over and over and it is statements and observations they didn't have to say just to be nice! I highly recommend Rose Briar Place to any bride who literally wants to show up with her dress and let professionals do the rest!!! (side note, I am very OCD and want things done a certain way and to my expectations, they were willing to work with everything I asked about, but by far exceeded every expectation!!)

From the moment you walk into this beautiful venue you know it is the one. My husband and I were blown away by its charm and options! They are great at working around hectic schedules (especially since we live out of state) and have amazing packages that give you whatever type of style you can think of. I am extremely busy most days and not very creative and they were able to help me plan almost all of the wedding. They are very quick to respond and go above and beyond every chance they get! We picked the inside chapel as we got married in December so outside was to cold, but they allow you to go get those jaw dropping photos in the outside chapel as well! The guest still talk about how amazing the food was and not having to find an outside cake store was just icing on the cake! I highly recommend this venue as it helped make my wedding the best day of my life!

Please don't let this gorgeous venue fool you. My husband and I did, and it was a complete waste of our money, stress, and time. I've waited to post my review in hopes that my anger for what happened would settle down, sadly it has only highlighted the worst points of our experience.When we booked, we were told that even though we were paying $9,000 we couldn't have any access to the venue until 4pm for our wedding at 6pm. We even paid $350 for an extra hour at the venue and it still wasn't enough. I didn't get any photos with anyone before the ceremony because there were TWO rehearsal ceremonies going on while we had paid for access to the entire place. The staff said they didn't want US bothering THEM so I was kept in my dressing room until 1 hour before the ceremony because I would have run into them. When we booked we were told several times that they could SEAT 200, at our 30-day meeting we were told they could SEAT 150 max but could fit STANDING 200. This changed all of our reception plans and we had to improvise. We were assigned a \"Wedding Coordinator\" (which is my actual job) and I saw her perhaps three times. Once when we arrived (because she was with another bride), the second time as I was walking into the ceremony, and the third time as she was grabbing food from our cattering. It just felt like I was left all alone with little guidance.The $9000 we paid did come with an outsourced DJ and cake baker, they were wonderful to work with. Them as well as my photographer (contracted separately from the venue) saved my wedding. It rained 10 minutes after the ceremony and these people helped bring in all the decor and made sure nothing was ruined. The venue only cared about getting their food from our paid cattering (which they never said was a thing we were to expect) and getting us out of their venue by 10pm. If we were there past 10pm by 15 minutes, it was a $400 charge. The rehearsal ceremony was to take place the day before from 4pm - 4:45pm. My wedding was on a Friday so this made it difficult for some people to get off work on Thursday early enough to make it to the rehearsal. I asked about moving the rehearsal time to around 6pm, even 5pm. They immediately objected and said that they close at 5pm, no questions. A wedding venue (or any event venue) is meant to be able to be flexible and work with you. To me this is completely unprofessional for a venue that lives by the phrase \"Bring the dress, we do the rest\". I don't want to call into question all the 5-star reviews posted here, but I do feel I should inform others that Rose Briar insisted several times that \"if you leave a 5-star review, you will get a gift.\" They push this at all open houses and meetings you have with them. It should also be noted, that we purchased the package that gave us everything but cattering. They might give more devoted attention to those that purchase the pricier packages, but that does not make it right. This could also apply to renting decor from them. We opted out on renting from them, as it also was very expensive, and we found nicer decor for much cheaper. My 1-star is not as much but I hope it helps with your decision. There are so many wedding venues out there that will help you out with decor & linens, check on you the entire day you are there and make sure you don't stress about a thing. Your wedding can be beautiful AND in budget, but not with this venue. I wish you luck and Congrats on your engagement!

They decorated everything exactly how we'd chosen, we had nothing but compliments about Ned's Catering and Bella Rosa Cakes. The DJ they work with, Scott, knows exactly how to move the reception along and was very flexible with the music list for someone who was really wanting dancing at the reception. I was so relaxed and not worried on the day of and that's because I knew Danielle (the wedding coordinator) and the staff at Rose Briar Place had it all fixed. We had a night wedding and it was beautiful inside and out. They're also great about answering questions at any time throughout the wedding planning process. Quite a few of our guests took advantage of the newly renovated patio/fireplace seating to chill during the reception while others stayed inside and danced or enjoyed the beautiful decorations and tables. I highly recommend using Rose Briar Place to make your wedding day happy.

More important than the day of was how EASY Rose Briar made the entire planning process. The vendors they partner with are top notch and far surpassed our expectations, all without us having to stress over a thing. Even the decorations were a breeze. We just added very small touches to help personalize, all of which took less than 30 minutes to set out. If you're a busy bride or aren't extremely creative on your own, I highly recommend using Rose Briar for your wedding. The venue was stunning but I didn't have to take a lot of time off work or waste hours making center pieces to make the venue shine. Not that we expect to ever get married again, BUT if we did my husband and I both agree that we'd go with Rose Briar again.

You can tell she genuinely enjoys helping people. The building was absolutely beautiful. Both the indoor and outdoor was stunning and gorgeous. I looked online at several low key venues. Rose Briar Place was the first I scheduled a tour with and Jen and other helpful staff made the choice easy. The venue is beautiful, the pricing fit our needs, and it was easy to envision our wedding day in the gorgeous chapel. Although putting together a wedding (even a small, low key wedding) can be stressful, I feel confident that there isnât a better spot to make it all happen! Iâm truly excited about our upcoming day to celebrate with close friends and family!

If youâre looking for an amazing venue that takes the stress out of planning look no further! Just from our tour we were able to picture the whole wedding and make most of our personal decisions. They have opened the venue to us anytime we need to go there to picture something before making a choice! (Aside form during weddings of course) Jennifer was so sweet and put up with our toddler running crazy while she was trying to give us our tour! Then Danielle sent me pictures I. The middle of the day so I could see the centerpieces in order to choose flowers! This is the venue! Seriously look no further! I canât wait for my wedding here

Our wedding coordinator ( Jennifer) was very organized and communicated very well leading up to and on our wedding day. She really helped releive alot of stress off my bride and I by making everything from pre-wedding to reheasal to wedding ceremony to reception, run so smoothly. This venue is just a complete blessing! If you are having trouble with finding a venue you need to go have a tour here!! It is absolutely stunning every corner in this place is amazing! I had my wedding here a week ago and it was a complete dream of mine! Thereâs packages even include extra things which is awesome! The girls that work with you I canât even express the love I have for them lol. I would text them and get a response in less than 5 minutes!! I highly highly recommend all of you to have your wedding here!!! Thank you Rose Briar Place yâall hold a big part of my heart!

She is always quick to reply and comply if there are any questions or services needed. The venue itself is intimate and classy. I just did not want a wedding that was like everyone else's, when it came to personalizing my wedding day I did not feel like they were listening to me about details. They kept acting like I could have whatever I wanted and then would go back on their word. I am not the type to post on these things but I feel like other brides deserve to know . It is a beautiful venue but if you want something that is your own then I wouldn't go there. Just make sure to read all of their rules and regulations before hand also and not take their word for it. Also if you book way in advance they won't care about you until a couple months before the big day. It wasn't all bad, when it came down to a couple of weeks before the big day we started to get more people saying they were coming to the wedding than was invited and I was super stressed but I talked to them and they helped me out. I just looking back on it probably wouldn't recommend them because of the fact that I just felt like another bride they didn't make me feel very special.

Wonderful venue. All inclusive options!! Catering, cake, dj and some floral included! Indoor or out options for both ceremony and reception. Was so great not to have to track down multiple vendors for everything! The staff is fabulous. I definitely recommend a tour and comparison of costs.

Saving the date with Rose Briar Place was one of the easiest decisions we have ever made! Jennifer and Sharon are so nice and accommodating, it is clear they love what they do! Their \"all-inclusive\" atmosphere takes so much stress out of wedding planning and we could not be more thrilled (especially since we live 7 hours away!). The chapel is absolutely breath-taking and the outdoor and reception areas are just as magnificent. My fiance and I are so excited to get married at Rose Briar in April of 2019!

Found out my grandpa couldn't walk me an hour before, and seeing the bride room put me in instant tears because it was so beautiful. The food was phenomenal even though I couldn't eat until the hotel, I didn't know diddly squat about procedure and Sharon walked us through patiently so I didn't look like a dummy. This was simply a stress free wonderful venue.

Most Amazing Venue Ever. My husband and I got married at Rose Briar Place a few years back. The venue was the most beautiful place I had seen out of ALL the Oklahoma venues I looked at in person and online. It was just break taking and had a calming feel. As soon as I saw it online, I knew it was \"the place.\" It is actually so beautiful, you do not need decorations. Sharon, the owner, was my coordinator. She was so gracious and professional. I would call her over and over again with little questions about details for our upcoming wedding. She always answered my questions or if I had to leave a message, she would call me right back. She made me feel like I was the ONLY bride in the world. I never felt rushed. The packages Rose Briar Place offers are amazing. Their slogan of \"you bring the dress, we do the rest\" is so true. They made all my worries disappear. Their caterer literally created the wedding cake of my dreams. I wasn't very good at explaining it to her but when I saw it, I was blown away! It was EXACTLY what I had pictured. They way the staff/caterer set up the food, coffee, tea and punch was so elegant. I truly felt like a princess. I think about that day often with such joy. I literally close my eyes, smile and sigh. Haha! I am so thankful we picked Rose Briar and that Sharon was our coordinator! XOXOXO <3<3<3

Most Amazing Venue Ever. My husband and I got married at Rose Briar Place a few years back. The venue was the most beautiful place I had seen out of ALL the Oklahoma venues I looked at in person and online. It was just break taking and had a calming feel. As soon as I saw it online, I knew it was \"the place.\" It is actually so beautiful, you do not need decorations. Sharon, the owner, was my coordinator. She was so gracious and professional. I would call her over and over again with little questions about details for our upcoming wedding. She always answered my questions or if I had to leave a message, she would call me right back. She made me feel like I was the ONLY bride in the world. I never felt rushed. The packages Rose Briar Place offers are amazing. Their slogan of \"you bring the dress, we do the rest\" is so true. They made all my worries disappear. Their caterer literally created the wedding cake of my dreams. I wasn't very good at explaining it to her but when I saw it, I was blown away!
