Our venue is set back among the trees of beautiful and historic Pittsgrove, N.J., a world away from the hectic pace of everyday life. I cannot recommend Running Deer Golf Club enough! Everyone we worked with went above and beyond to make the whole planning process as seamless as possible. We worked mostly with Miranda in the beginning and then Kaitlyn towards the end and both of them are so kind, professional, attentive, and accommodating. Any little question we had they were there to guide us and accommodate all of our needs. The planning process was literally a dream with how helpful Kaitlyn was to us! The day of our wedding, I could cry at how perfect everything was. Jessica went absolutely above and beyond to make our morning perfect and set everything up better than I could have imagined. She truly set the tone for the whole day. Heather was our concierge throughout the whole wedding and I am not kidding when I say I have never felt more cared for in my life than I did with Heather. She took such great care of us as well as everyone else. Our drinks were never empty, she constantly brought us food, literally anything we needed or didn’t even know we needed Heather was there. And not only that, she was so unbelievably kind and accommodating. Running Deer was easily the best choice we could have made. The aesthetic was gorgeous, EVERY worker was incredible, and the food was to die for. I still have people texting me about how amazing everything was and the portions were so big it was amazing. Thank you RD for the best wedding day we could have imagined. It was better than anything I’ve ever dreamed for my wedding day!

My husband and I got married in November at running deer golf club. From the moment we toured the venue we knew this is where we would get married. All of the staff, Jessica, Kaitlyn, and our concierge Donna went above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough for being apart of our day and making it even more special. My husband and I got married in November at running deer golf club. From the moment we toured the venue we knew this is where we would get married. We got married of October 27th 2023 and from the very start of this process, Running Deer was absolutely amazing. The communication flowed flawlessly at all times. Miranda, Kate and later, Jessica are VERY professional. Even more so, they are friendly and were just as excited for our wedding as we were. I cannot express enough how helpful it was to have this team on our side. No question was too small and no matter how many emails we sent, they were always there with a smile in their responses. When it came down to the wire, Jessica was our main point of contact and when I tell you things wouldn’t have gone so perfectly without her guidance, I mean it.Running Deer checked all of our boxes. It is beautiful, affordable, and the food is delicious. Our wedding was over a month ago and people are still telling me how beautiful our venue was and how great the food we picked was. The service was top notch. The attention to detail when setting up the lobby and reception room with our decor blew us away. Everything was exactly as we pictured it would be. It was truly a spectacular day without any hiccups and we owe that to Running Deer’s staff. Thank you SO much for making our wedding day dreams come true. It was a day we will never, ever forget.

Jessica and Miranda were the perfect team that we needed to make sure our wedding was as perfect as we’d imagined. We initially met with Miranda to tour the venue and put a deposit down the same day. The venue had a major upgrade for the bridal suite which is so pretty and a practical space for getting ready. Both were pretty responsive throughout the planning process. They were able to answer any questions I had and accommodated our smaller wedding guest list. We worked on all of the material sent to us and finalized all the details at the details meeting. Now, to talk about the day of! I couldn’t have been more thankful and grateful for the Running Deer Team. From the moment we showed up (very early might I add) I was greeted with such a helpful team and people ready to assist in any way possible. I even got a golf cart escort to the bridal suite since the driver saw me walking with a few bags! Jessica was on top of everything from decorations, to seating, to my needs, and anything else that came up. She was super helpful for all of our vendors as well. If there were any issues, I was not aware of them and felt very relaxed. My whole vision was brought to life by their team.Food: DELICIOUS! We had a Sunday brunch wedding. The brunch buffet had a great variety of food to satisfy all guests. We even had a vegetarian guest who chose from the vegetarian menu and they were extremely satisfied. The cocktail hour food was also perfect. They had vegetables and assorted cheeses available. We chose the shrimp ceviche, cheesesteak spring rolls, steak with chimichurri, Asian broccoli slaw wontons, and chicken and waffles. We loved each of our choices and our guests couldn’t praise the cocktail hour food more. Professionalism: The team at Running Deer was extremely professional and was on top of everything throughout the day. We did not have any issues with staff while we were there. Sometimes it was hard to get a response through email, however, once I expressed my concern, they immediately called me and made sure it didn’t happen again. Pricing: We felt the venue and all the charges were extremely fair. They were very flexible with the open bar (we chose only bar and wine), amount of guests, and any changes we had to make. Photographic: The entire venue has great locations for photographs based on your personal preference! It was a bit hot on our wedding day, so we chose to stay in shady areas, however, there are so many great spots for photographs.

Ever since my husband and I toured this venue back in Jan 2021 we knew we needed to get married here! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the ballroom is gorgeous with high ceilings and large breathtaking windows. We just got married here on 11/11/23 and everything about the day and planning process leading up to it was nice and smooth. Running Deer has the best staff, especially Heather D, Jessica N, Katie, Dominic and Heather at the bar. The food and drinks all looked and tasted great, and the communication was excellent. My wife and I can't say enough about the amazing experience of getting married at Running Deer. First of all the location is beautiful. The club is in a gorgeous rural area at the end of a long road with beautiful homes on either side. It feels so private. We got married in The Timbers outdoor seating area amongst the trees away from the building (highly recommend). There is a large patio area for outdoor cocktail hour, but we were also guests at a wedding that had their cocktail hour inside and that worked fine as well. The ballroom is spacious (we had 15 guest tables fit easily). Running Deer is a popular venue and many local vendors are used to working there, it seems. Our photographer and videographer had been there many times and knew the best shots to get. They worked seamlessly with the wedding coordinators. Speaking of, shout out to Miranda, Jessica, and all of the staff who helped us throughout the process. They were very quick to respond to emails and explained things well. We had a long details meeting about 3 months in advance of the wedding date and then handled smaller things via email from there on. Rehearsal night and morning of, they were accessible and let us work on setting things up in the space. They have comfortable bride and groom suites, many beautiful decorative items available to borrow, a room dedicated to a dessert buffet (at least we made sure to include this in our package), fire pits outside, and they work with a local bakery so the cake is included in the package. I can't imagine having a much easier time planning a wedding. Running Deer made it an incredible night for us.

We got married at Running Deer Golf Club last Saturday and it was the most perfect day. I cannot recommend Running Deer enough. The planning process went so smooth and everything I asked for they said yes to. They were very accommodating. Kaitlyn and Jessica were so helpful and answered all my emails quickly. The day of the wedding was amazing! We originally planned to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside, but it ended up raining. Having everything inside was so nice that I couldn't even be upset about the rain! I gave them all the decor and they set everything up beautifully. All the staff went above and beyond. Heather D was a legit saint! My husband’s button fell off his tux right before our first look and she whipped out a needle and thread and sewed it back on. My dress got wet from the rain, and she took me into a room and blow dried it for me. Our drinks were never empty, and she made sure we had everything we needed all night. Not only us, but our guests as well. The next morning all our guests were talking about how amazing the staff was and how delicious the food was! Everyone said it was the best steak they ever had! I can't thank everyone at Running Deer enough for making our wedding the most amazing day ever!

From the second we entered our tour, we knew Running Deer was where we wanted to get married. Every single thing was perfect, from the communication for our VERY LONG engagement, to the food tasting, our 3 month meeting, to even after our wedding. I am somewhat of a control freak, but i had no issues trusting Kaitlyn, Jessica, and the entire team at running deer to make our day beautiful. During our meal selection, Kaitlyn was honest in her thoughts and helped us create the most delicious cocktail hour- get the bacon wrapped dates- you WON'T regret it. The asian bar, the mac n cheese bar, the walk around apps- people are RAVING about all of the food we had. NOTHING was bad. Our Fairy God Mother, Heather, was the LIGHT OF MY LIFE all day. She was always there with a new drink (and a sippy cup!!!!), running around to ensure my husband and I were having fun, and EVEN PUT MY SOCKS ON FOR ME EVEN WHEN I TOLD HER I WOULD DO IT!! She was nothing short of amazing, and my husband and I can't stop talking about her. The entire day was so smooth, even with a chance of rain. We also had our rehearsal brunch at Running Deer, and that was just as smooth as the day of our wedding. I CANNOT recommend Running Deer enough, and we are so grateful to have had our wedding here.

Running Deer is the most perfect wedding venue. We worked with Jessica, Kaitlyn and Miranda to plan our wedding 2yrs in the making and celebrated on 9/1. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to cater to not only me & the groom, but all of our guests!! They are accommodating, friendly and have incredible employees. The food was delicious; our guests obsessed over cocktail hour. The suites were comfortable, the ballroom, pagoda and timbers are stunning- I can't say enough amazing things about RD. I can't wait for our pictures because every spot is gorgeous. Book your tour and you will understand!!

We had our wedding at Running Deer on June 17th and when I say that everything about the day was perfect I really do mean it. The team at Running Deer did the most incredible job making our wedding day everything that we had dreamed about and more. They really took our vision for the day and completely knocked it out of the park. Not a single thing went wrong from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Everything ran so smoothly and our guests had so much fun that they are still raving about it. From the moment we stepped into Running Deer we knew it was going to be our place and everyone we worked with throughout the entire process was so lovely and professional. We worked closely with Miranda and Kate from the beginning of the process through to the wedding day and they were so communicative and quick to respond and both incredibly kind and absolutely lovely people to work with. Jessica and Heather were with us every step of the way on the day off and they were both amazing. They anticipated every need and helped keep the day flowing smoothly so that we could just enjoy every moment of it. The wait staff and bartenders did an excellent job taking care of our guests and the food was incredible. Appetizer food has always been our favorite foods at every wedding and Running Deer absolutely crushed it. We couldn’t have been happier with how amazing our wedding at Running Deer was and we will be raving about it to anyone who will listen for the foreseeable future.

We got married at Running Deer Golf Club last weekend and they did a phenomenal job. The ballroom is gorgeous, and the prices are reasonable, but what puts this place over the top is the incredible customer service! Miranda was extremely welcoming from the first showing and her hospitality was equally matched by the day of coordinators Jessica, Heather and the rest of the event staff. The only downfall to this location was that the ballroom was very hot with 150 people in July, but that’s pretty much expected and they do everything possible to make you and your guests comfortable. Running Deer is simply the best and we wish we can go back and get married there again! From the moment we took a tour there, we felt at home and knew we had to get married there. The venue itself is just beautiful, from the wooden flooring and high ceilings, to the outside ceremony spaces (Timber space is where we had the ceremony and it was absolutely amazing), the bridal suite and bar area. The staff is TOP NOTCH. Miranda, Kaitlyn, Jessica, and Donna are the best and will make sure every detail is taken care of! I even had an issue with my hotel and the room where we were going to get ready in there, but Miranda and team were my angels and took care of everything for us the night before the wedding to make sure we could use the bridal suite at Running Deer. The waitstaff was amazing. It ended up raining right at the very end of our ceremony and they flipped cocktail hour SO fast to be inside. The food was SO great, our guests complimented it endlessly!! Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect our wedding was at Running Deer Golf Club. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but they also have the most talented and incredible staff that is very present, attentive, and easy to work with from start to finish. Miranda, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Heather, Michael and all of the event staff were absolutely outstanding. Miranda and Kaitlyn have made the planning process so incredibly easy, answered any questions we had, were very responsive and easy to contact. Michael, Jessica, and Heather went absolutely above and beyond on our wedding day. They couldn't have given us a more perfect wedding experience. Michael was so accommodating to us, our families and bridal party needs and answered all of our questions along the way. Jessica brought all of our wedding visions to life and made the wedding morning so calming, and stress-free. Heather was absolutely incredible. She made our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so organized and seamless. She gave us direction and guidance for every step of the day. Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect our wedding was at Running Deer Golf Club. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but they also have the most talented and incredible staff that is very present, attentive, and easy to work with from start to finish. Miranda, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Heather, Michael and all of the event staff were absolutely outstanding. Miranda and Kaitlyn have made the planning process so incredibly easy, answered any questions we had, were very responsive and easy to contact. Michael, Jessica, and Heather went absolutely above and beyond on our wedding day. They couldn't have given us a more perfect wedding experience. Michael was so accommodating to us, our families and bridal party needs and answered all of our questions along the way. Jessica brought all of our wedding visions to life and made the wedding morning so calming, and stress-free. Heather was absolutely incredible. She made our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so organized and seamless. She gave us direction and guidance for every step of the day. Here is another well deserved, raving review of Running Deer! We had visited at least 10 venues before finding Running Deer and immediately loved everything about it. The grounds are beautiful and loved that there are 2 different options for the ceremony to fit your vibe. Even though it is in South Jersey and at least 2 hours away for the majority of our guests, it was SO worth it! The staff is amazing, especially Miranda and Kate with being so kind and helpful with the whole process. Heather was our day of coordinator, the fairy godmother we didn't know we needed! She made sure we were fed, even having our cocktail hour food at our sweetheart table because we were too busy taking pictures with the guests to actually eat what she brought us, and had a drink in our hands at all times, even refilling my champagne glass with cold champagne since I was nursing it for a while (the thoughtfulness!!!). The food is so delicious, definitely best wedding food I've ever had, and I'm not being biased. The mediterranean sea bass was my personal favorite entree and I'm STILL thinking about the fried mushroom ravioli. They even packed up the leftovers for us, including cake for dayss. Everything was set up perfectly, we didn't have to worry about a thing on the wedding day. The one concern I did have was fitting the max of 200 people in the ballroom, but it made the entire wedding feel more intimate and there was still plenty of dance floor. On top of all this, they were the most affordable venue we found. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Running Deer for the best day ever!!

Hello! I want to start off by saying that I never leave reviews! This is to anyone that is curious or wondering about having a wedding at the Running Deer Golf Club. The biggest things we and our guest raved about, in no order, was The Venue, The Food, and The Professionalism. THE VENUE: This venue was nothing short of Amazing! Literally spectacular! My wife and I couldn't be happier to have done it at this venue. Our Wedding was in mid-August so we decided to do an inside wedding. The lighting inside was beautiful! We had the cocktail hour outside near the pergola and our guest loved it!! We also had our private vows at the pergola and we captured some amazing pictures. Our bridal party took their own pictures from inside which was also nice. My wife and I also had a feet washing ceremony and we did this at the Timbers. The Timbers was also an amazing spot to take photos during our ceremony. The Rooms for the party were top notch! The guys lockeroom was very big and comfortable. My Wife said that the bridal suite was very spacious and comfortable. They had everything she needed. THE FOOD:I'll be honest and say that we were super busy through our day and didn't get to enjoy as much food as we wanted. We had some the next day and it was still delicious. During our time there I had some of the steak and it was the best steak I ever had. We had a Buffett style for dinner and our guest loved it! The roasted potatoes were to die for! The champagne chicken was also a hit at our wedding alongside the shrimp cocktails. If you have a wedding here, you HAVE to have the Chocolate Room!! It was one of the best things at our wedding and our guests loved it!! I won't spoil how amazing it is, just trust me!THE PROFESSIONALISM:The Professionalism was 20/10. They outdid themselves!! Big Shoutout to the team that helped us! Heather, Jessica, and Kaitlyn coordinated everything seamlessly. Jessica and Kaitlyn were always in touch with my Wife and I over emails. From the moment I saw Running Deer’s profile on The Knot I knew they would fit my vision for my wedding PERFECTLY. Not only do they aesthetically fit the whimsical, woodland, and rustic vibe I was looking for, but their staff is top-notch. Running Deer is incredibly personable and well organized. They answer all your questions- even when you could’ve just read the FAQ a bit better (ha!). They have tastings for you and two guests, they have plenty of materials/supplies for you to borrow (even an arch!!), and they even include food, an open bar, cake, most gratuities, a day-of-coordinator, and a Maitre D in your contract!! The staff is wonderful and will really become your family. I actually GOT SICK at my wedding from the adrenaline crash (OTL not my finest moment) and my fairy godmother had an ice pack, ginger ale, and a stand-up fan placed right at my table for me. She had the vendors back off as well as redirected guests so I could relax with my husband, all while making it seem like nothing was wrong. Even my PARENTS didn’t know until much later how I was feeling.The venue’s design itself is breathtaking. The reception hall is gorgeous for a ceremony if needed, too. I personally chose my venue based on both their outdoor and indoor ceremony spots because I wanted to plan for all types of weather. Since Running Deer has a separate room for the bar as well as a separate bar for cocktail hour if need be, you can rest assured that there will be plenty of space for your guests. I had 125 people at my wedding and I did not feel cramped. I believe that 150 is the max I would have had if I invited more people, though, as the dancefloor will be eaten away by tables as you add more guests.HONESTLY if you want any sort of woodland, whimsical, rustic, greenery wedding I STRONGLY suggest Running Deer and their suggested vendors list. The work is done for you, just sign the check! Ha!

She was my attendant for the night and she made sure I had everything I needed at all times. They both made this process and day very easy for me and I cannot thank them enough!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! I booked my wedding with Running Deer pre-COVID, and got married in November of 2021. And all I have to say is WOW! I could not have asked for a better venue. From the smallest of details to the biggest, everything about this venue was what I was dreaming of for my wedding. I did most of my planning with Kaitlyn, and she was just absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and responded very fast with any of my concerns or questions. Heather was our concierge on our wedding night, and she was incredible. Any issues that arose, she had it covered. Before I even had the words out of what I needed, she had it covered. She was so compassionate and caring. We LOVED Heather!The food... was so delicious! Everyone is still raving about it! The prime rib was by far one of the best prime rib's I have ever had. Heather even got us some doggie bags to take home. From cocktail hour to the farewell cookies, 5 stars all around!Overall Running Deer Golf Club made our Wedding dreams come true! Thank you Running Deer for the Best Day Ever!

I cannot say enough good things about Running Deer! My fiancé and I found this venue on the knot during the height of covid, scheduled 1 virtual tour via FaceTime, and immediately booked. We didn’t actually see the venue in person until our food tasting! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We ended up moving our ceremony and cocktail hour inside — like 2 hours before guests started to arrive — and the staff did such an amazing job accommodating that for us! Inside or outside, the venue is super romantic. The floor to ceiling windows are just so beautiful and the new bar renovations are just stunning. The food was SO GOOD. My fiancé and I devoured everything during our food tasting and during our private cocktail hour. We had so many compliments from our guests that they literally licked their plates clean. Not one person left that venue hungry!! Let’s start with Miranda. She was an absolute sweetheart! I felt like I had the most ridiculous questions and played “what if” with so many scenarios before we finalized our contract — and Miranda was there every step of the way. She responded to every email, every question, and was so patient with us. She never once made me feel like I was annoying her or waiting her time! She also let me and my now M.I.L. tour the venue again after my fiancé and I had our first virtual tour and our food tasting.Kaitlyn, bless her!! She was on top of every little detail. She made sure we were always on the same page before moving along. She kept us on track and was super organized. Kaitlyn answered every single email quickly and had an answer or solution to every question I had. She was so sweet and easy to work with. Heather — she was our angel sent from above, fairy godmother, and the GREATEST person ever. She took care of my husband and I the day of the wedding and we cannot say enough amazing things about her. She kept me calm all day, helped with any favors I had, bustled my dress, made sure our drinks were NEVER empty, and made sure that we were well fed!! We had such a large bridal party and a large wedding, but she managed us all so well!! My husband and I have been a part of other weddings this year and let’s just say Heather was the absolute best and no one can top her!! We chose this venue for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and our reception venue due to its rustic feel. This venue could not have been more perfect for us. The planning process was incredibly easy to do with Miranda and Kate. They would answer my countess emails in a timely manner and with specifics on what I was looking for. They were so accommodating with any changes we wanted to make to the menu or if we wanted to do anything to decor. While we are on the subject of food, WOW just wow. There was not a menu item I didn’t like. We chose a buffet for both rehearsal and wedding dinner and it was the best option for us because we were able to get the variety we were looking for. Kate jokingly said in our final planning appointment that if our guests leave hungry then that is their fault and that could not be further from the truth. There was SO MUCH FOOD. Our guests raved about our food. Even those who don’t typically like buffets were blown away. Finally, I want to talk about the day-of. At weddings I would attend, I would typically see the bride and groom never eat nor enjoy themselves due to being pulled in multiple directions. That was never the case for us. During cocktail hour our concierge (or our fairy godmother) set out plates of cocktail hour food for us to enjoy privately before we went to mingle. It was so nice to enjoy food together alone before we socialized. For dinner, we were sent into the buffet room to pick out what we wanted to eat and it was served to our table while everyone else went up to eat. While we were dancing or talking to people, our drinks were never, NEVER empty. There is one thing I would change and these things can easily be requested for future brides. Before the ceremony, we were in the ballroom while guests were in the bar next door waiting to be able to go to our ceremony. They could see us through the bar doors and the windows and I wish we were somewhere they couldn’t see us to get the wow factor when we walk down the aisle. Regardless, I have honestly been trying to convince future brides that I know to get married there because I want to go back as a guest!!

The entire team was amazing to work with, well organized, could adjust to any situation and extremely kind. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and well decorated Also, who could forget the food. We did a buffet with two carving stations and everything was absolutely delectable. Many of our guest raved that it was the best meal. Lastly, the team was always able to answer or get an answer for any question. We never waited a long period of time to hear back from them and we were beyond impressed with how they turned our dreams into a reality from how we wanted our decor displayed to the tiny details of taking care of us.

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding this past weekend at this venue. I cannot say enough good things about the coordinator (Heather D) who was assigned to help the couple the day of their wedding. She was absolutely amazing. Every request, little or big, that the couple and their wedding party had was filled as quickly and completely as humanly possible. She was attentive, compassionate, and never once made any of us feel like we were inconveniencing her with our questions and requests. She was on point through set up, the whole wedding, and even cleanup. Food and drinks were brought to the couple's table throughout the whole day so that they didn't miss any chance to eat, when the ceremony almost got rained out Heather D was there with multiple solutions for how to handle it, when cleanup started she was right there with us helping out, plus she was pleasant the whole time. She really was a fairy godmother.

From the GORGEOUS grounds, to the friendly, accommodating and helpful staff, to the UNBELIEVABLY KILLER food, our wedding day was a dream! Kate and Heather went above and beyond to make the day effortless for us both leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. They were so helpful and genuinely wanted us to have a carefree and amazing wedding day! Miranda and Kate answered every question we had promptly along the way. On the day of our wedding, Kate and Heather ensured that every single detail was taken care of so that we could just enjoy our day. Heather was there every time we needed her with food, drinks, a tide stick pen when I got cake on my dress, she had everything! As for the venue itself, we held our ceremony at the pergola and it was more beautiful than we could have imagined. The food was AMAZING! We chose buffet and everyone raved about the food. The chocolate room was also a huge hit! They helped us box up all of our decorations at the end of the night and overall we’re just so helpful. They also helped save us some money by having things like votives for candles, easels, a card box, table numbers, etc already at the venue. Definitely check this venue out because you we could not have had a more perfect day thanks to them!!

We chose Running Deer because of the ceremony space in The Timbers and how comfortable Miranda made us feel. Kaitlyn did a great job helping us get ready for the day, and we felt comfortable and confident with her guiding us. Both Miranda and Kaitlyn answered all questions we had leading up to the event very promptly. Heather was assigned to take care of us on the day of. We cannot tell you how amazing she was. We were never without food, drink, or any assistance we needed throughout the night. The food was amazing and the venue was beautiful. Many of our guests commented it was the best wedding they've been to and the staff had a big part in that. We would get married here again and again! Thank you all.

If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with incredible staff, this is your place. Everyone should get married at Running Deer! I can’t imagine choosing anywhere else. My husband and I booked in late 2018 and ended up having to push our wedding from June 2020 to June 2021. The time and effort put into making our day special was evident from beginning to end. Miranda was a godsend in the early days of the pandemic and was there for us every step of the way in going over numbers, restrictions, and safety protocols. Kaitlyn was always there to answer my billions of emails, was more than accommodating with added personal touches and helpful with our indecisiveness. Sydnie (Fairy God Mother) and the rest of the staff for both rehearsal dinner and the wedding itself were incredible! Special shout out to Sydnie - she asked at the end of the night if I wanted to keep my bouquet or not. I knew i was leaving on my honeymoon the next day and wasn’t sure about travel/how it would keep. I ultimately said no I don’t need it, but she saw me hemming and hawing over it and kept it anyway. Thank God she did, because my “something borrowed” was still wrapped around it. After the wedding I was freaking out, but the next morning the bouquet and chain were still there waiting for us. This is just one example of the thoughtfulness and professionalism of the staff at Running Deer. They knew exactly what to do, what we needed, and we never waited for anything. We are so thankful to have had the wedding of our dreams. This time last year we thought we would all be in masks, cut down guest list, and fully outside. We were able to have our wedding exactly as we originally planned pre-Covid. The outdoor tent was even taken down the day before we got there, so our outdoor ceremony at the pergola was all out in the open as well. I could go on and on about how incredible our experience was. Now we just need a friend to get married there so we can go back and enjoy it as a guest! 😂

I was looking for a wedding venue with unique character and gorgeous, rustic ceremony space. From the moment I saw The Timbers ceremony space at Running Deer Golf Club, I knew this was our spot! Miranda and Kate were great to work with throughout the entire process, always answering our questions in a timely manner and being very accommodating. COVID restrictions were ever changing leading up to our wedding date and they helped put me at ease. Numerous people told me the staff at Running Deer were true professionals leading up to the wedding and that is certainly the case. We moved forward with having our wedding outside on their newly finished paved and tented area and I was so thrilled! The day was perfect and everyone was so communicative. There was some off-and-on rain during the afternoon and I was kept up to date on the storm's every move! Everything was so beautiful, the food was delicious and everything went off without a problem! From the moment I walked into running Deer Golf Club I knew that I couldn’t consider anywhere else to have my wedding. The entire process... during a pandemic.... having to reschedule my wedding was the least stressful experience of my life. Miranda was the most phenomenal person ever she bent over backwards 24/7 to make sure that I had everything I needed to feel at peace with my wedding day.On my wedding day, Heather was the most amazing soul in the world to be around. She made me feel like an absolute princess. Me and my husband were amazed at how fantastic everything went, she kept everything running so smoothly… I was not in need the entire day. Of course my wedding day was 10° below the seasonal temperature and it was pouring rain. The vendor companies had dropped all of the equipment off in the wrong places. She refused to let me handle any of the situations. She called up all the vendors and moved everything inside and into the tent re-decorated everything and pulled decorations from the middle of nowhere to make the ballroom absolutely gorgeous for my ceremony. I couldn’t have asked for more amazing day for my wedding. I wish that I could relive our wedding day over and over and over again! If you’re even considering going with anyone else besides Running Deer, you’ll regret it. I will never feel more like a princess than I did on October 25, 2020.

We found running deer through the knot website and we instantly fell in love with the venue. From the first tour, they were super informative and took their time to explain everything they offer. Kaitlyn was our point of contact along with Miranda and both were always easy to communicate with. They always answered all my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. They were the best and I cannot compliment them both as individuals enough. With COVID, we had to switch things up and host outside. With that, the ceremony was beautiful and the grounds were well maintained. They kept us informed of any and all changes with the state regulations as they knew of them. Heather D. Was our maitre d for the night of the wedding and she was super helpful and very sweet. She kept me calm as possible going into the ceremony and I appreciate that! My only negatives for the venue were that we were missing two appetizers during cocktail hour that were in our contract and talked about during the final meeting, golf carts ran during the back ground of our ceremony after they stated it wouldn’t happen, and they misplaced one of our decorative signs. All in all it was a wonderful time but some parts should have been handled better. I would recommend this venue!

Everything was so organized from start to finish, I honestly don't think I had to worry about a thing. They took care of all of the fine details and answered every single little question I had in such a timely manner. Kaitlyn was so professional and so sweet, they really make you feel so welcome there. Any last minute changes were handled with such grace, they were the most accommodating group of people I could've ever asked for. Heather is an actual angel on this earth and I feel so lucky to have had her help on my wedding day. One of my bridesmaid's dresses was kind of falling apart even before the ceremony started, and Heather literally pulled out a thread and needle and fixed it for her on the spot. Absolute anything I needed, Heather was there. There wasn't a moment throughout the day/night that I didn't have a Jameson & ginger in my hand. And to top it off, the venue is absolutely stunning. The grounds are well kept, and ballroom is beautiful with new floors, the bride & grooms suites are so spacious, and the food was off the charts. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you staff of Running Deer for making my wedding day absolutely perfect.

We got married at Running Deer on February 15, 2020. We knew from the very beginning that we wanted to have our wedding reception at Running Deer. It was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. They also updated their ballroom with brand new hardwood floors, which made the room look even more stunning! Miranda and Kaitlyn were so accommodating. They answered all of our questions and helped make our wedding planning so easy. I am usually nervous letting other people take control but they did everything exactly how I wanted it. The day of the wedding, Heather was there to greet us and was with us the rest of the night. Heather was beyond amazing! She took care of everything and allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Our wedding was everything we dreamed it could be! Thank you Running Deer for making our wedding day truly the best day of our lives!

We got married at Running Deer December 7th 2019. Running Deer made our day perfect! From the moment I walked in (before we were even engaged), I knew I had to have my wedding there. The entire staff Kaitlyn, Miranda and everyone else were SAINTS and answered all my questions and requests for the wedding. Running Deer exceeded all expectations and our guests still tell us how great the food/ venue was. This place is a hidden gem and will make your wedding dreams come true!

After much searching for our venue, we made the easy choice of going with Running Deer for our wedding ceremony and reception. Miranda and Kaitlyn were nothing short of AMAZING. It was so easy planning the day throughout the entire process. We never felt nervous or worried about any detail of the day; we knew it was taken care of and would be great. Everything the day of our wedding was exactly how they described it would be. We were often asked “How are you doing”, “Can I get you anything?”, etc in the hours leading up to the ceremony to make sure the day was perfect for us. We knew our day was in great hands. Their staff was just as great as they were. Our maitre d’, Heather, was so helpful and accomodating before the ceremony, during the ceremony, and during our reception. She made sure to ask if we needed any food or drink and was there to ensure we were having the best time; we were! Running Deer was the PERFECT venue for our 140 guest wedding! The event space was beautiful and elegant. The entire staff was amazing and attentive. Our personal concierge, Heather D., made our day run smoothly. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the event. She was so helpful. All of our guests had such a great time, and the food was delicious! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was, especially the chocolate room! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day.

Well look no further and listen to my advice when I tell you that Ron Jaworski Running Deer Golf Club is it!!! The wedding crew was absolutely, hands down A-MA-ZING, from answering all my annoying and frantic emails (and my dad’s), to tastings, to expos, all right up and through our big day. The food was delicious, not 1 complaint, and if it wasn’t for Heather being by our sides and knowing what we needed before we even knew, I wouldn’t have tasted any of it. Heather made sure we sampled it all and didn’t get too busy that we get to eat. There are no words to express my gratitude and just how great they all were with relieving the stress and pressure on our wedding day. Running Deer won us over from day one, and we are so happy that we decided to have our wedding reception there!! First, Kaitlyn is the sweetest person to work with. When choosing a venue for our wedding ceremony and reception, my now-husband and I were all set on moving forward with another venue. My mom actually suggested going to see the Running Deer before finalizing with the other venue, just to make sure we were 100% certain about our decision. She had gone to a family-friend's wedding at RD and she thought we would be really impressed. Turns out, she was right! When we toured with Miranda, we were completely blown away. It was her sweet, caring demeanor, attention to detail and calming presence that had us convinced we had to have our wedding at the Running Deer. We never questioned our decision in choosing RD throughout the entire planning process (which is ironic, since we are both attorneys and it is our job to question everything!) Miranda and Kaitlyn made the planning process smooth and seamless. They were an absolute joy to work with. All of the details for the ceremony and reception came to life in a beautiful way. The day of the wedding, Heather could not have been more of an angel (and I think I called her an angel at least 5 times that night). She made sure we always had a drink in our hand, food to eat, and that things were going smoothly. When a button on my bustle flew off, I didn't even have to tell Heather. She saw the whole thing, pulled me aside, and fixed it with a bobby pin. On top of all of this, the venue accommodated my gluten and dairy free food allergies with the most delicious meals--from appetizers to entrees. Our wedding day was the most special day of our lives, and we have the entire team at Running Deer to thank. We love you all, thank you so much for everything. xo The Morgans

We had a HUGE bridal party and she made it fun and organized so I felt like I had nothing to worry about. Heather is AN ACTUAL ANGEL. She made sure I had anything I needed the day of and I can hands down say she made my day as amazing as it was because she was with me every step of the way. Even when I was doing my first look and was super nervous, the girls working at the halfway house chatted with me to ease my nerves. I wish I could re-do the day a million times and its all because of the amazing people at Running Deer!

Even when I was doing my first look and was super nervous, the girls working at the halfway house chatted with me to ease my nerves. Kaitlyn was so helpful with planning every thing up to the wedding day. She was always quick to respond and I never felt in the dark about anything going on at the venue. On the day of the wedding, Heather was always there by my husband's and I's side if we need anything at all, like a drink on an 80 degree day. I had a brunch buffet wedding and all of the food was fantastic. They had a nice selection for all different type of food for my guest to pick from. This venue is insanely beautiful. I have guest still talking about our big day because of how nice running deer is and because of their staff. We would recommend running deer to everyone we possible could because that is how great they are.

Everything about it was exactly what we wanted, but to make things even better, the people couldn't have been nicer. Miranda is everything you need and more. She's the nicest person ever and she genuinely cares about you and your wedding day. She got to know my whole family and really spent time making sure we had exactly what we needed. On our wedding day, she came and sat with me for a little just to chat and was my look out in the hallway so I didn't see my husband, and I have moments with her that I will cherish forever. Kaitlyn is equally sweet. She is always willing to help you out and do so with a smile on her face. She was the first person I saw on my wedding day, and just her telling me \"hey, everything that's set up now is for your day\" was the first moment I realized it was MY day. And Heather was the greatest gift Running Deer gave me. She kept me fed, kept handing me drinks, wiped cake off me, did my bustle, yelled at people when I asked her to, and is a huge part of the reason my wedding day was perfect. They made all my stress go away and our wedding day was just a dream. Every detail we ever spoke about was done and our wedding was perfect. From the ceremony, to the ballroom,the drinks, the food, and all staff, everything was perfect. We have recieved so many compliments on everything that Running Deer offered. I will reccomend Running Deer to everyone I know.

My husband and I can't say enough about Running Deer. They go above and beyond from the moment you walk in for your tour. The day of my wedding ran so smooth. Kaitlyn and Heather are AMAZING. They made all my stress go away and our wedding day was just a dream. Every detail we ever spoke about was done and our wedding was perfect. From the ceremony, to the ballroom,the drinks, the food, and all staff, everything was perfect. We have recieved so many compliments on everything that Running Deer offered. I will reccomend Running Deer to everyone I know.

The food, the ballroom, and the staff are wonderful. Running Deer is a fabulous venue. It was the first we looked at and nothing after compared! From the first time we walked through the doors we were greeted with smiles (and champagne), and they worked with our budget without compromising on what we wanted. We had our ceremony onsite at the pergola and it was picture perfection. Their ballroom is open and feels huge and fit our 140 guests more than comfortably! The large windows and neutral tones of the ballroom didn't clash with any of our decor. The bar and food (we did a buffet)for our event were in seperate rooms from the ballroom, which we loved because instead of lines, there were just people dancing and having a great time! As for the staff, they all were so sweet! I probably sent hundreds of emails to Kaitlyn, but she always returned them promptly and always had answers. Our day of coordinator Heather D was a pleasure. We were taken care of from the minute we arrived on property until well after the reception ended. She made sure my husband, myself and both of our parents had anything we needed as well as made sure we were where we needed to be on time. She was never far and truly wanted us to have the happiest night of our lives, and it was. The venue is a superb place and our guests have said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, the location is a bit in the middle nowhere but don't let that deter you. My fiance and I are so happy with our choice to go with Running Deer and hope that some of our friends choose to get married there so we get to go back!

Running deer was seriously such a blessing to my entire wedding planning process. Kaitlyn was one of the best parts of wedding planning and along the way she just became apart of it. I really don’t know if wedding planning would have been half as enjoyable if it weren’t for her.And heather, who was with me and my husband all night and she was seriously OUT OF THIS WORLD! She was always a step ahead of the game, and blew the whole bridal party away. She is seriously such a gem and wish I could get married again just to be with the girls a little longer!!! If your reading this and considering running deer, do it. You will NOT regret it!!

From booking our event to the day of the wedding, the staff at Running Deer made each part of the wedding planning process so smooth and effortless. They catered to every request and were available to answer any question with ease. When it came to our wedding day, no detail was left unnoticed and they were right with us every step of the way. The space looked magical and the day was perfection. So many of our guests have told us how much they loved all the food, our signature cocktail, and how organized and professional all the staff were throughout the night. We were fortunate to have Miranda as our day of wedding coordinator and she did not miss a beat! She made sure everything and everyone was right where they needed to be at all times and that we were taken care of all night long. I seriously couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day and thank Running Deer soooo much for making our start as husband and wife so memorable!
