Rustic Countryside Estate Reviews
Veronica Campbell(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-12-2022 The venue is on a beautiful piece of land. I wanted a place that had an option for outdoor or indoor where my guests weren't sitting at the reception tables during my ceremony, and this venue has that. The owner was super friendly and answered all our questions. I chose to use the venue and their decorating team for my decor, all I had to do was give them my colors and some inspiration pictures, they did an amazing job and it turned out beautifully. I am very glad that I chose this place to have my wedding. Reviewed on 13-01-2023
Nickie Stevens(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2019 I have not had my wedding yet but RCE has been amazing to me during every interaction. I have been searching for a venue for 3 years and finally found a reasonable beautiful place to have my big day! RCE made it easy by having a venue that does DJ, decorating, and clean up all for a reasonable price that other venues do not offer. Heather has been available to talk to me about the entire process from catering to decor at any time and replies quickly and professionally. She has single handily made me feel secure about my choice and I still have 4 months to my wedding day. Reviewed on 16-05-2019

Gidget CentenoCampeau(wedding party)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-07-2018 There were many things that caused this negative review so I have numbered them. 1. The weather was horrible the night before so we were unable to hold the wedding outside as planned; not their fault. However, the very uneven ground was not addressed; no gravel put down, no pavers set out to get from cars to barn. 2. There is no paved parking. No gravel. No wood chips...only mud. There were four plywood planks getting from house where Bridal suite was located to the grass just before barn...nothing else. In fact, there was so much mud and puddles that the plywood merely sank into the ground, not helping much at all. Cars were getting stuck left and right and the owners just laughed and the neighbor from across the street offered to hook up cars to pull them out of the muck. 3. The owners, a husband and wife team, stayed on site in reception barn the ENTIRE time, watching every incident. Mind you, they were both wearing jeans and not in wedding attire, drank alcohol and food that was provided for the guests, and took pictures with their own camera throughout the day. 4. Due to the weather the night before, the wedding was unable to be held outdoors as planned. However, the bride and groom were not credited the decor that was rented for outside and the groom and his groomsmen were the ones that had to move the arch from outside, inside, to use as a wedding prop. It took five of them to move it. Not only were decor rental fees not credited, they were charged additional monies for table linens the day of event and the owner came into Bridal suite on several occasions (without knocking) to pester the bride for the money, instead of taking it off of the decor price paid but not used. 5. There is absolutely no access for wheelchairs or people with walkers, of which we had one in attendance at this wedding in May 20th; the groom's grandmother...the Matriarch of the family. Which leads to number ....6. There were no proper bathrooms on site for handicapped guests to use; just two porta potties around the outside of the barn; which again...did not have access to for mobile guests due to rain and mud and muck with no pavers or gravel. 7. There is no lighting or power. The DJ set up was in a corner, connected to s series of extension cords. The only lighting that exists in this barn was Christmas lights strung to the ceiling of the barn; also connected to same set of extension cords. 8. And...to top it off...I've just learned, in making a series of phone calls today, that they are not a registered business in Wagoner, members of the Cjanber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau, or even registered as a business in Oklahoma through the Secretary of State, which means they aren't paying taxes and that is why they have been able to host weddings without any concern for their guests' safety...handicapped or otherwise. Lastly, the owners had the audacity to tell the bride and groom when they cleaned up the next day, that they also had to walk out ruts that were in the grass of their front yard...where THEY instructed people to park. Save your money. Save the headaches. Save your guests from dealing with all that we dealt with. Reviewed on 23-05-2017
