Rustic Manor 1848 is a newly renovated barn venue halfway between Milwaukee and Madison with all of today's modern amenities. A comfortable setting with heating & AC throughout the entire facility, the barn can accommodate up to 275 guests with ADA restrooms, an expansive loft overlooking the main hall, bridal quarters, stunning views of the countryside and full service bar. In-house wedding planning and photography services are also available making Rustic Manor 1848 your one stop wedding location!

My wedding was September 16th, 2022. I had the most beautiful experience. Clarissa helped me through the whole process and worked with me on all of the details. She kept me involved, but not enough where I was ever stressed. I am so grateful for her, and for Katelyn too for helping make my wedding day the very best I could have imaged. Our guest RAVED about the beautiful space and since the weather was PERFECT so many enjoyed the outside area and games. I couldn't have chosen a better fit for our vision and I will forever be so grateful. Oh and lastly the bed and breakfast was amazing!! And so was breakfast the morning after! What a nice touch to end an absolute treasured experience! Thank you!

This was a beautiful venue with lovely staff. Their grounds are perfect for photos. We absolutely loved our stay in the on-site bed and breakfast, it made our night so stress-free and comfortable after a long day! They did struggle with coordinating a couple of smaller details, but on the whole we loved having our reception here.

Rustic Manor is a great venue! It has a ton of beautiful picture locations, they're very responsive, and have monthly open house nights that make it super convenient to be able to view it ahead of time. I went to multiple open houses to show different people the venue and have various questions answered. I also emailed some questions along the way and always got a response back quickly. They had everything from there end set up and ready before we arrived the day off the wedding and it all went great. The staff the day of was also very friendly and helpful throughout the night!

Rustic Manor was one of the first venues that caught my eye and we just happened to luckily get in for a viewing the day we were touring others and I fell in love! Pictures don’t even do it justice. It’s a beautiful venue with SO much to offer. The entire process was super easy and every single staff was amazing. I could not have asked for a better wedding venue and experience ever! Incredibly high quality place, people, and events! The venue was responsive, patient, and absolutely stunning. Could not recommend Clarissa enough should you also be looking for a wedding planner. She made the process painless and feel like the only thing I needed to do was show up and enjoy our wedding day. Everyone we interacted with from David, our photographer, to Michelle, who helped finish up the event, were so professional and friendly that I’d book my next event there in a heartbeat.

I loved rustic manor 1848!!! We loved how smooth everything was with the help of the month wedding planner, and Whitney, the owner, was our photographer and she made my husband who is in a wheelchair feel like he could be like any other groom. Only thing I would say is if you have older guests warn them or buy the golf cart. Their hill by their outside wedding area is a little steep. Besides that, we loved every part of it. Especially the lawn games!!

We booked Rustic Manor before ever getting to see it in person! We were planning our Wisconsin wedding while living across the country, so we relied solely on photos and the virtual tour on their website. We were so pleased when we finally got to visit as it was even better in person! Our wedding day was perfect, and our guests kept commenting how amazing of a venue Rustic Manor was! If you want the beautiful outdoor space plus modern updates and amenities, this venue will not disappoint! Also location was a major bonus at is is so central to hotels, restaurants, etc! If you’re on the fence, book it!!!

Working with Rustic Manor as our venue for our whole day (ceremony through reception) was an absolute pleasure!! We live out of state so we sent our parents to one of their open houses last year and everyone was immediately impressed by the grounds and the staff. Due to being an out of town bride, I had to do a ton of emailing and questioning asking on details, and they were happy to respond to each thing and we're extremely prompt in doing so. We used day of planning to take stress off of us and our moms and it was so worth it. Alicia was wonderful and made sure all our decorations and ideas were placed perfectly and even more that they day went smoothly. Overall, we can't recommend Rustic Manor more as your wedding venue! We fell in love with the property from first sight but the staff and attention to detail definitely put it over the top!

Then, COVID happened and we had to postpone twice... but each time, RM worked with us and were extremely accommodating, for which we were so grateful. RM provided us everything we needed, and more. They were patient and helpful throughout our wedding planning process, answering every single question we had. We were also so happy with all of the additional services we purchased. The photo booth provided so much fun and great memories for us and our guests. The string lights are beautiful and it was nice to not have to go through the hassle of putting them up ourselves. And the day-of wedding planning and the takedown service were an absolute LIFE SAVER the day of our wedding -- without a doubt, these two services made our day run without a hitch or too much stress on my part as a bride. It was such a pleasure working with Whitney, Alicia, and Hannah, and I can't thank them all enough for helping us have the day we planned and looked forward to for 2 years. Thank you RM team! <3

We just celebrated our wedding at Rustic Manor on 10/2/2020. I booked the venue over two years ago. I hired Whitney, the owner, as my wedding planner. I cannot say enough positive things about her and the venue. Due to covid, we had to postpone from 6/13 to 10/2. Whitney did absolutely everything in order for us to postpone and confirmed everything with our vendors. The “all inclusive” wedding planning package included Whitney doing everything for the wedding. She was the point of contact for all vendors, developed the time line, the room lay out, and did all put up/tear down of decor. My level of stress for the wedding was so minuscule due to her taking on all the big tasks and reaching out to me just to make decisions on options. She was great at finding ways to have all the things we wanted while still staying on budget. Whitney was always available and made my dream wedding come to life. Me and my girls got to the barn around 9am and got ready in the bridal suite all day. We had breakfast and lunch delivered, music playing, and the bar was open the entire time. We got married in the barn’s hayloft, took photos on their beautiful grounds, and danced all night in the reception area. We are still getting compliments on the venue. Whitney was there the entire day keeping us on schedule and moving things along to make sure none of the big moments were missed. After our send off, Whitney and her staff, Alicia, packed everything up and help load my parents car. Whitney reached out the next morning to check in on me and my new husband. For the quality of service and the beauty of the venue, the cost is well worth it. My husband and I got our fairy tale wedding and couldn’t be happier.

Whitney, Greta, and Alicia were all there the day of to ensure that we did not need to stress or worry about all the little details. I highly recommend their wedding planning services, we chose day of which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the entire day! They made everything so simple to plan and accommodated our every need! I highly recommend their wedding planning services, we chose day of which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the entire day! They made everything so simple to plan and accommodated our every need! My Wife and I couldn’t possibly thank them enough for everything they did for us and I would highly recommend choosing them when you look for a cute rustic venue with all the perks!

Rustic Manor was absolutely beautiful and the perfect venue for our wedding. As soon as we walked into the barn, we knew this was where we were going to get married and booked our date right away. The venue is gorgeous (both inside and outside) and very clean. The staff was also very professional and promptly answered all of my emails. They offer a variety of different services (string lighting, hotel shuttle, in-house photographer, etc) and were so helpful during the planning process. We had so many guests come up to us and tell us how beautiful the venue was! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a more \"modern\" barn wedding with stunning views.

My husband and I can not thank Whitney and her team enough for everything they did for our wedding. Our wedding was a month ago, and we still have guests telling us how beautiful this venue is and how it made our wedding so much fun. I worked with Whitney primarily for the planning process, and she made the planning process as easy and stress free as it could be. We had also added on the day of planning package (take advantage of specials they have around the holidays!) so she handled every single detail that day, which meant I could nap for almost an hour! None of my friends have been able to do that at their weddings.While the cost for Rustic Manor seems high, you have to realize that with the cost you have the beautiful barn and surrounding land in addition to the comfort of knowing you are working with a team that truly cares about your wishes and vision. Our vendors also like working events at Rustic Manor, because of how easy it is to work with them. Thank you so much Whitney! You all made our wedding so perfect, and if I had to do this all over again, I would choose this venue every single time!

The venue, both inside and out, is simply gorgeous, romantic, and provided the perfect warm and welcoming feel for our guests! We fell in love with Rustic Manor 1848 after our first initial walk through of the venue and booked them shortly after for our wedding day. We cannot say enough about the Rustic Manor staff and everything they did to help make our day so special! Whitney and Monica were super helpful throughout the planning process and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We hired Rachel as our Wedding Coordinator for the day and she was amazing! She thought of things before we did, took care of all of the little details on the day of, and helped keep the entire day flowing smoothly from start to finish. The bartending staff was super professional and welcoming to us and our guests and the Take Down staff made the end of the night a breeze when it came to organizing decor, packing up our cars with gifts, and getting us checked in to our bed and breakfast room for the evening. We felt so taken care of and we really appreciated how passionate the Rustic Manor staff was about their jobs and making sure we enjoyed our big day. Our guests were overflowing with compliments about the venue and its staff throughout the day and we saw all of our guests truly enjoying the lawn games, outdoor camp fire, and the beauty of the grounds. We looked at other barn venues as well, but the Rustic Manor beat them all. While Rustic Manor has the rustic charm similar to other barns, it also had the modern amenities we wanted to ensure comfort on our big day! The Rustic Manor provides a lot of amenities in the base price, but also provides a lot of services above that. We chose to outsource anything extra (i.e. shuttle service, day of coordinator, etc) because we were able to find those extra services for cheaper, but if you wanted a one stop shop, this could be it! Overall, we are very happy with the venue we picked and the service we received!

What an absolutely beautiful venue and setting for our wedding!! I was out of state and booked everything online without actually touring myself. So when I finally got to see it in person I was blown away. It is even more stunning than the pictures!Throughout the wedding planning I was always emailing back and forth with the owners and staff. They were always so quick to respond and answer all of my questions. When I met with Kendall the month before the wedding she helped me to organize a timeline and layout which was so helpful for an indecisive bride like myself. I was so appreciative of that! Basically throughout this whole process I was THRILLED with nearly everything. My only complaint is that we couldn't have a grill or pig roast on the property so we had to go with a more traditional wedding dinner. On the day of, Whitney the owner was there every step of the way to make sure everything was going the way I wanted. The bartenders were amazing-professional but also so fun; we had so many compliments on how they remembered what everyone was drinking all night! The cleanup and setup staff were so quick and polite. Every single person working was truly outstanding.Whitney and Eric thank you so much for being so wonderful. The work you have put into the property has transformed it into a place that has all of the rustic charm and character we were looking for but with all of the modern amenities that made us feel lavish and pampered. I don't know how to thank you for everything that you have done for our special day. You are absolutely amazing!!

We are so happy we had our wedding at Rustuc Manor. It's hard to decide what the best thing about Rustic Manor is: the venue itself or the people. We got SO many compliments from guests about how stunning the barn and the property are. Our photos are gorgeous. And the staff are so excellent, kind and accommodating. We have absolutely no complaints and only compliments. Thanks guys!

Five stars simply is not enough to give Rustic Manor. I could not have asked for a better venue to host my wedding. Eric and Whitney made our special day perfect in every way. Whitney has the magic touch and made the planning process effortless! Our wedding day started with rain so it was nice to have the option to have the ceremony indoors, yet we were still able to enjoy pictures and cocktails outdoors. It was nice to be able to get ready on-site in the bridal quarters with all my girls and offered a beautiful background for photos. The B&B was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious! My only complaint is the night went too fast! -Jeri & Scott

Everything ran so smoothly and it allowed us to really enjoy our day and celebrate our marriage with all of our loved ones! The venue and property are so beautiful and the bartenders and staff were so helpful and accommodating! All of our friends and family loved the rustic barn and it gave us a romantic atmosphere, but it still felt very laid back and true to who we are as a couple. Whitney, Eric, and Ashley were all wonderful to work with and we highly recommend Rustic Manor! We truly had the best day ever!

Whitney and Eric, the owners and Ashley, the wedding planner did a wonderful job helping us to make sure our weddding day was perfect! In the days leading up to the big day they were there to help us plan out the layout, what we were going to serve for drinks, have a list of our vendors to direct them where to go, as well as having a shuttle available to bring our guests to and from their hotels. They were present throughout the entire event just in case there were any issues and would bring anything questionable (like an out of hand bar tab that the bridal party rang up) to our attention immediately. We got to stay in the B&B the night of our wedding and the room was so beautiful! Eric helped to bring our luggage to our room and let us know what time breakfast would be served before saying goodnight. The room had a giant comfy king bed and full bathroom with huge shower for two. Breakfast was served the next morning and we got to eat the most delicious biscuits and gravy!! I could go on and on about this place!\r\rThe barn, the grounds, the house, everything is so breathtakingly beautiful! There is so much room to spread out and relax and stroll through the walking paths. The colors in the fall make it that much more wonderful!! You will definitely fall in love with this place when you see it!\r\rThe Rustic Manor 1848 staff definitely went above and beyond in everything they do for their clients.

Not just the venue, but everything they provided us with. The service was great, our guests wanted for nothing. Set up and break down was easy with the help and support of the staff. \r\rThe venue was perfect, there were so many spots for photo opportunities and navigating the beautiful grounds was relaxing and inspiring, perfect for what could be a hectic day.\r\rAshley the coordinator we didn't see to often, and that was great. We had met with her a few times previous to our date and even with the numerous changes that we either had to make or chose to make Ashley came through for us working with our wedding party and support team to make sure Sam and I were able to enjoy ourselves as much as we could, which was immeasurable. \r\rWhitney the venue owner was amazing. We fully expected that if she were to be at the wedding to see her dressed the part. However, she worked along side her staff to make sure that our day was just as perfect. \r\rMy wife and I didn't know what to expect from a new venue like Rustic, but they were so committed to our wedding we left wanted to reserve our 10 year, 25 year and beyond. Our wedding day was so perfect and so amazing and Rustic was an integral part of that. \r\rWe can not thank them enough for everything they did for us.

The Rustic Manor is the most beautiful place to get married. It was everything that I imagined for our wedding day. There are many breathtaking photo opportunities. We received many compliments from our guests. They enjoyed the outdoor games and the trails around the property. They also expressed how nice the staff and bartenders were. Whitney, one of the owners, was very good at answering any questions we had leading up to our big day. My only criticism is that we were told that we would have help from the owners and staff with setting up decorations and guiding vendors and guests on where to go but when we met for our 1 month meeting we were told that we were responsible for that. We ended up hiring the wedding coordinator, Ashley for a few hours the day of our wedding. I am so glad we did. She was wonderful and really took some of the stress off myself and our families. She decorated, showed vendors where to set up, helped with cuing the DJ and bridal party for the ceremony, and made sure everything ran smoothly. If I had to go back and do it again I would still choose Rustic Manor. Since this is only their first year I know they will only continue to improve the overall experience.

We admit, there were a few errors in communication and for that we apologize. Unfortunately, our evening end vacate policy and no flame policy are ones we've enforced from the beginning as stated in all contracts but again, we apologize if this information was somehow unclear to you and your family. The issue with your bridal party carrying in alcohol is something we address immediately as we take this violation of the law very seriously, as stated to you numerous times leading up to your big day. I'm sorry if sound to some of your guests was an issue but we will be sure to address your concern with the DJ you contracted as we have no control over their sound equipment. Many issues and/or problems can arise the day of a wedding and we do our very best to ensure all of our guests are safely enjoying themselves from start to finish. It is unfortunate that we seemed to have fallen short of your expectations of us but wish you and your new husband the absolute best in your new lives together.\r\rOur Response to Rustic Manor since it will not let us respond back:\rThank you for admitting to errors in communication. Your evening end vacate policy was not in the contract we signed and we can provide you with that confirmation as we still have it. We never signed a new contract where you had your new policies so it is very unfortunate that they were not communicated with well enough to have a stress free day, happy day for both parties. Also, we understand your policy for carrying in alcohol; however, we cannot be responsible for/control other people; therefore, we were upset with the interruption and aggravated tone when on our way to cut our cake to discuss this matter and be threatened with charges. A suggestion in the future would be to address any matters the day of with either the maid of honor or best man as to let the bride and groom have an entire stress free day. Also, If we would have been communicated with there being a sound issue for guests sitting in the upper loft from previous weddings (which I am sure has been an issue) we would have gladly had our DJ set up equipment up there; however, we were never notified there may be any issue. Thank you for the best wishes. We just want you to know that these issues did not ruin our wedding for us and that we absolutely loved our wedding, everything else that day was amazing. It is just very unfortunate that all our parents remember most is cleaning up at the end of the night and that when people ask us about our day - it was absolutely phenomenal, but then they ask how Rustic Manor 1848's service was on our wedding day and all we remember is you approaching us to address those issues and that we never saw you excited or happy our entire day and the sad part is there was truly nothing we could do about the issues we were addressed about. We really appreciate your response. We wish we both could have been on the same page that day and truly wish you the best in the future. We were recently married here. The inside of the barn is beautiful, and so is the outdoor setting for a ceremony. Owners and staff were great, and bartender service was awesome as well. I would get married here again, but hopefully that doesn't happen! \r\rWould only make a couple suggestions to the owners... 1) Do not charge for use of the golf cart during an outdoor ceremony as it did bother me personally to be billed for making the entire site handicap accessible 2) Do away with the 2 hr minimum for shuttle service, as lodging is only 2 miles away and a shuttle trip only takes 5 minutes 3) Consider a new insurance provider...candles should not be a big deal in a barn that was built to code that includes a sprinkler system.\r\rAs you can see, the 3 biggest drawbacks are most likely due to me being overly critical, and they are insignificant when weighted with our overall experience. But hey, writing an authentic review requires some degree of determining areas for improvement as well. What would be the point in reading this if I just said \"everything was great.\"

This is a beautiful place for any wedding! The photography shows just how many exquisite backdrops there are available. Room for guests to spread out and explore the property, or hang out in the barn.There is room for outdoor games for the kids. This was one of the few weddings where the kids weren't bored because there was so much for them to do. The location is perfect, easy to find, but once you drive in, it's like you are miles away from the rest of the world. After being at a wedding at this site, I can't imagine being confined to the traditional wedding setting at a hotel. Absolutely stunning.

The ceremony in the lower field was very pretty. The barn provides a unique setting for the reception. It is comfortable and great for pictures and has plenty of room for a dance floor. I attended a wedding at this venue. It had a wonderful rural feel, but is only a few miles from Hwy 94. Everything was very professional and classy. There is a large barn which is very beautiful. The property is full of trails and great for photo ops. I would highly recommend this venue.

Eric & Whitney Shneyder (Owner) Eric & Whitney Shneyder have always had big dreams and bringing Rustic Manor 1848 to life all started with a love story of their own. Following Eric's Christmas proposal, their search for the perfect barn wedding venue turned up empty, leading them to create a venue unlike any other in Wisconsin. Not only is their home full of history and humble beauty, but it stands as a testament to the love, dedication, hard work and unending imagination that it's owners share together. They were the first couple married at Rustic Manor 1848 in June 2014.
