We got married at Saddleback in August 2023 and our day/weekend was beyond perfect. We used the venue for the Welcome Party on Friday, the ceremony and reception on Saturday, and a Farewell Brunch on Sunday. All 3 days went smoothly and allowed us to enjoy a truly wonderful weekend with our guests. Even the DJ commented that he had never seen a wedding run so smoothly. We had our ceremony in a different location than their norm because we wanted our guests to look out at the mountains, rather than up the skill hill, and it was absolutely beautiful and the staff was extra accommodating to make this happen. The cocktail hour was on their huge deck, followed by the reception in the fireside room. If you visit the venue in the winter and worry how you're going to turn a ski lodge into a beautiful wedding venue - do not worry! I was so worried about it leading up to the event, and my jaw actually hit the floor when I saw it all decorated. Everything came together perfectly. All our guests kept asking how we found such a unique and beautiful venue and they loved that there was lodging available right on site, so close to the venue. Saddleback offers a free shuttle service but most of our guests just walked because it was that close. The shuttle service even picked up/returned our guests that were staying in downtown Rangeley just to make sure everyone got to/from safely. The staff was amazing and so friendly, especially Erika who pulled our day together. Erika was quick to respond to my many questions and texts leading up to the event and always made sure to put my worries at ease and very accommodating to my many requests. John was our chef that weekend and the food was amazing and he kept checking in to make sure everything was ok. We couldn't have asked for better bar service from Josh and Liz. Skyla, one of the servers, was always in the right place when I needed help. The maintenance team was extra helpful in preparing our ceremony location and getting some of us to mid mountain for first look. We can't thank the staff enough for how helpful and friendly they all were. Again, all our guests kept commenting on that too. When looking for the right venue, we compared prices and what's included between a lot of places and Saddleback by far had the best deal. We got to use the venue the whole weekend and could start setting up really whenever we wanted to and there was no rush to be out of there by a certain time on Sunday. Erika and her team did most of the decorating on Saturday morning so I could focus on getting ready. The venue was so flexible with every decision that had to be made so that we could make the weekend truly unique to us and our personalities. Our wedding day/weekend was a dream and far exceeded our expectations! Reviewed on 15-09-2023

I cannot express how much I loved our wedding! Saddleback is THE destination for mountain weddings. Not only was the location stunning, the staff treated us like family. They went above and beyond to create a phenomenal experience for us. Chef Coco and her team killed it with the food and drinks and they were very accommodating with our needs and wants. Erika Roy is hands down the best wedding planner you can ask for. She is with you every step of the way and knows everything there is to know so there is little effort on your part. Truly the best experience I could have asked for. I loved the Saddleback before and now I am forever loyal. THANK YOU SADDLEBACK!!!! Reviewed on 02-10-2023

If you're looking for an amazing mountain wedding than Saddleback Mountain should be your #1 pick. The location allows for stunning photos and guest experiences. The rustic feel of the lodge was what I was looking for and the amazing sunsets can't be beat. I can't say enough about the Saddleback staff. I'm going to use the word amazing a lot in this review b/c that is best word I can think of to describe the location and the staff. Working with Erika Roy, the Saddleback Wedding Event Manager was an easy process. She was available to answer any and all questions. Chef Coco and her team did an AMAZING job with our dinner and if go for the extra late night party food add on option! AMAZING, tater tot poutine bar and fresh made pizzas! Our guests raved about the food and the location! GO GET MARRIED OR HAVE A PARTY AT SADDLEBACK MOUNTAIN!! Reviewed on 29-09-2023

We got married at Saddlebck in July 2023. Erika, chef Coco and the rest of the team made sure the whole weekend (we also had a welcome BBQ for our gusts the night prior) went off without a hitch. Rangeley was the perfect town to entertain our guests (125) and the combination of condo rentals and hotels downtown (which Saddleback provided a convenient shuttle for) made the lodging side of things go very smoothly for our guests. This was important for us as many of our guests had to travel long distances just to get to Maine. I can't thank Saddleback enough for ensuring our weekend was memorable and as stress free as possible. On the financing side, we really did our homework and feel that getting married at Saddleback provided significantly more value than other comparable venues. Cheers to the Saddleback team and the stunning Rangeley area! Reviewed on 07-08-2023

We got married at Saddleback in June 2023, and I can't recommend them enough! Erika was friendly and professional from our very first meeting, throughout our planning process, during and after the wedding! She listened to our ideas, helped us come up with fun touches and details, and promptly answered all of our questions (even the ones about the rain) with helpful and confident reassurance. The staff at Saddleback was so kind to us and all of our guests throughout the weekend--they really made us feel as if we had all been friends for years. The food was phenomenal and we had so many guests tell us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! As a couple, we expected our wedding day to be the best day ever...and what we got was so much better than we had ever imagined! We are SO grateful to Erika, Chef Coco, the staff at Saddleback, and the people of Rangeley for contributing to the most magical weekend for us! THANK YOU! Reviewed on 19-07-2023

Maura Tramontozzi(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2022 Having our wedding at Saddleback was the best (& easiest) we made. Erika was a dream to work with and made the planning process effortless. Her sense of humor, positivity, knowledge of everything and super speedy responses made me feel like I was planning my wedding with a friend. We had our wedding at the end of September with the ceremony outside looking up the mountain at the ski slopes and the fall foliage that was just starting to appear and cocktail hour outside the on deck to take in the views of the mountain and looking down over Rangeley Lakes and the mountain scape. The reception was in the fireside room in the lodge, we had a sweetheart table right in front of the beautiful fireplace. (beautiful is an understatement). We very comfortably fit 160 guests with plenty of room for the dance floor and had a whole section for the bar, dessert table and photobooth. The food was also incredible. I am a big foodie so having a good menu was very important and the chef's at Saddleback did not disappoint. (If you haven't had their crab rangoons- it's a must try!) I cannot say enough good things about Saddleback and the team that works there. I am so happy they are reopened and are thriving. If I could go back and do it again (which I wish I could do!!) I would do it exactly how we did it. Reviewed on 07-10-2022
