Sadie Lake Events is a gorgeous special event venue located in Arlington, Washington. This stunning property is nestled away in the hillside of Arlington on 18 private acres of land. Located just five minutes from Smokey Point, Washington, the venue offers couples the opportunity to celebrate in a secluded romantic area without having to sacrifice on convenience. The property's dedicated event staff works closely with you to bring your dream wedding event to life. Facilities and Capacity Sadie Lake Events has a 3,000-square-foot event barn with stunning views from the second floor. It features a renovated bridal suite and an adjacent building with spacious groom’s quarters. A full kitchen is on-site with parking, boat and lake access, an outdoor fire pit, and more. The barn can accommodate celebratory gatherings of up to 135 guests. The property has sprawling beautiful outdoor venue space and a sparkling lake. Outdoor events can be hosted under canopy and accommodates up to 300 guests. Services Offered Sadie Lake Events can host your wedding and other special events. Items included in venue rental are chairs, tables, row boat and extensive décor items. Included in your rental is the use of the venue's rustic barn, a large open-air tent, bridal & groom's suites and scenic outdoor areas on both sides of the lake!

Sadie Lake Events is an amazing place to get married. Working with DeeDee and Mark was such a wonderful experience. From the first time we met DeeDee, we knew that she loved what she does and truly cares for the couples she works with. DeeDee gave us great vendor recommendations and was so easy to communicate with. I could not have asked for a better wedding day and so much of that is due to DeeDee and Mark. Sadie Lake Events is an amazing place to get married. Working with DeeDee and Mark was such a wonderful experience. Sadie Lake had everything we were looking for in a venue. It was beautiful, flexible, and the staff was so easy to work with. DeeDee was incredibly helpful. It was obvious that she was not in it for the money, but actually cared deeply about her clients and helping them have a wedding that exemplifies who they are and the love they share. Julia, the day-of coordinator, was also wonderful to work with. She made sure everything ran smoothly and did it with kindness and a calm presence. We couldn't have been happier with our Sadie Lake experience.

Getting married at Sadie Lake was an amazing decision! It is beautiful and has such a diverse landscape which allows for various photo shoot locations and you own unique ceremony spot. The plethora of decorations that you can use free of charge is amazing, they had just about everything I would have had to buy anywhere else. DeeDee and Julia are amazing to work with and help keep the day stress free and focused on love. I highly recommend Sadie Lake!!

Beautiful venue! I just got married here last month and it was absolutely amazing. Deedee who runs the venue was very easy to work with and helped to make everything go so smoothly. And their inventory is huge! Couldn't have picked a better venue for our big day!

Sadie Lake was the perfect place to get married. DeeDee the owner is very compassionate, easy to get ahold of, friendly, and goes above and beyond for the couples who get married here. I love that you can use their tables, chairs, decor, and more at your wedding! The venue is 10 minutes away from the Tulalip Casino which was a fun spot to have an after party!

I cannot say enough great things about Sadie Lake. There's not enough space in 3500 characters to really do it justice. From the start, Sadie Lake and DeeDee were warm and welcoming. When you book here, you are guaranteed to be treated like beloved family, with kindness, validation, respect, transparency, and generous support. DeeDee was very available by text, though she is always so busy. I never felt like I was interrupting something more important when I asked a question. She is genuinely excited to help you. She set very clear expectations for use of the space and offered her extensive inventory of decor. She also has many trusted vendors she will recommend, which is nice if you're suffering choice paralysis like I was, but lets you hire any vendor you want. And every vendor we hired was so impressed with Sadie Lake - they love working there! Everyone I hired who was familiar with DeeDee had nothing but great things to say about her and the venue. As for the space itself - it's absolutely gorgeous, all year round. Truly, you will get no more spacious, natural, beautiful venue for this affordable cost that two public service workers could fit into our budget. We shopped around a lot - and I firmly believe there is no better place within 100 miles of all of the greater Seattle area than Sadie Lake. My husband (!!!) and I are even talking about booking them again for an anniversary vowel renewal in a few years. DeeDee and Sadie Lake was a HUGE part in making our day so magical. Please book them immediately, or at least go out there and tour it and meet DeeDee, because you'll fall in love with everything just like we did last year.

Sadie Lake was truly a dream venue for our wedding day. Our wedding was on 6/24/23, and the weather was stunning, so we really got to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces Sadie Lake has to offer! There is a gorgeous barn, pond (the “lake” in Sadie!), huge outdoor tent, and walking trails with gorgeous flowers and wild life all around. An eagle flew over the ceremony site on our wedding day, which was amazing! Sadie Lake also has a big inventory of tables, chairs, arbors, and decor to use, which is amazing to be all included with the price of the venue. DeeDee, the owner, is an incredible person. She was not only responsive, flexible, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process, but also has a heart of gold. She truly cares about the couples who get married at Sadie Lake and goes above and beyond for them. When I was a stressed out bride to be, she was always there to remind me, “It’s not about anything else except your love.” On our wedding day, DeeDee was there to scoop up my now husband and I by golf cart. She brought us to a special, secluded spot on the property to exchange our private vows. Our private vows, and the fun drive back and forth to the venue by golf cart, were my favorite memories of the whole day. We can’t recommend Sadie Lake enough! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts DeeDee!

We had booked a few walk-throughs with other venues and Sadie Lake was the first place we happened to look. We met with DeeDee and immediately felt like this was the place. We did look at another venue but we knew that Sadie Lake was the one. Fast forward through a year of wedding planning and DeeDee was so receptive to helping us and offering suggestions. We even got to have a bouncy house last minute because DeeDee is so flexible and easy to work with! Lastly, but most importantly - our wedding day. DeeDee went above and beyond making sure our day was special. Despite it being a little cold & windy in September, it was the most perfect day ever. Weddings are so expensive and Sadie Lake has a HUGE inventory that you can use as you wish. That was a life saver for us and there are so many options to choose from. For the last two months, our guests have repeatedly told my husband and I what a gorgeous venue Sadie Lake is and what a perfect day it was. I will forever be thankful for DeeDee and Sadie Lake for making our wedding day be one of the best days of our lives.

In addition to them being amazing people, the venue and inventory is unmatched! We had so much comfort working with them and it was as stress free as a wedding can be! The venue is beyond beautiful and holds so much charm of its own but if you want to spice things up with decorations worry not because dee dee has an amazing inventory of chairs, decor, tables, serving items, plates, goblets and more. We toured it, met DeeDee and Mark, and sealed the deal. Not only was Sadie Lake beautiful but it offered an intimate setting and decor that was exactly what we wanted. The Jacobsens love this little piece of heaven and their hard work and dedication shows that. DeeDee is great to work with! She has a plethora of inventory so you don't have to have all the different vendors and items to decorate how you want. She's funny but sticks to her rules for good reason! we were going to have our wedding outside by the lake but the weather was supposed to be thunderstorms, she gave me suggestions on how and what I can use/do to hold the ceremony inside while still doing the reception outside, the day of our wedding. It was a tight schedule but it all came together well and she even took some great photos of us and our setup! After the ceremony the weather held up great! I'd definitely suggest for everyone to use this venue, it's also an amazing price!

I cannot imagine a more perfect venue out there than Sadie Lake. Our wedding day was just... picture perfect! The gardens were just beautiful (you can see DeeDee's love and care in every blossom), the trees and lake were magical in the sunshine, and everyone at the party compliment how gorgeous the venue was. On top of that, it is such a tremendous deal! When I first talked to DeeDee she talked about her passion for bringing an affordable venue to young couples looking to start there life, and we are so grateful for her kindness and support through the whole process. I got married at Sadie Lake back in June 2021. I messaged DeeDee and she was quick to reply. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could need. Austin and i truly feel blessed with how much Dee Dee did for us. There are lots of decorations to use so don’t buy a lot until you see what she has. There are lots of options on how to set up the reception and the outdoor tent for a reception or dance floor is a huge bonus. The grounds have lots of different backdrops for pictures. There is always something blooming in the gardens and it’s very well kept. You can tell a lot of love and care goes into Sadie Lake. I highly recommend this venue. Lots of parking, full kitchen, bridal suite, grooms suit and i think 4 bathrooms. I would like to give a big shout-out to DeeDee and her husband Mark for how hard they work to keep this venue going. They are kind souls who have made it possible for so many to get married without going into debt. I picked Sadie Lake because i wanted an outdoor ceremony and reception plus i LOVE flowers and nature. The different backdrops for pictures were amazing and my pictures turned out beautiful. The bridal suite was also so pretty and allowed me and my girls to get ready in private. I wish i could give this place a 15 out of 10 star review. So much love for this venue. Picking Sadie Lake helped set the tone for exactly what we wanted for our wedding. But it wasn't just the incredibly beautiful, peaceful location that drew us in. It was DeeDee and her amazing kindness and loving can-do spirit. Our wedding vision began taking shape as we talked with her and saw all of the options Sadie Lake had to offer (they can accommodate large all the way to micro weddings, indoors and outdoors, use her stuff or bring in your own). This set the tone for other wedding decisions--we chose small, local businesses that were all owned and run by women who LOVE what they do and take pride in making their customers' special days perfect. Deedee is absolutely outstanding at running this venue. The location is quiet and secluded, tons of parking, beautiful barn and property. Shaded outdoor seating with the large canopy. Sadie Lake is such a beautiful venue and is extremely under prices for the amount of space and how many decorations they lets you use for for no extra cost. their venue in includes tables and chairs, a canopy, speakers to play your music, a grooms suit that also had an upstairs privacy room for breastfeeding mothers and a bridal suit. They are very sweet venue owners and have very reasonable rules. We have recommended and will recommend to others. What a dream this venue is!! My husband and I got married here in July. We were really stressed about finding a venue that fit our budget and this one was unbeatable!! Dee Dee, the owner and her husband go above and beyond for their clients. She was always so responsive to my (many) texts and questions, and always so helpful. She allowed me to visit the venue multiple times to plan things out and see what i could borrow from her collection of decor! They provide many kinds of chairs and tables on sight so we didn't have to go out and rent any which made setting up SO easy! The venue is beautiful and very customizable! We had multiple options of where we preferred to have everything located (reception, ceremony, dancing etc.). Including if it rains! The venue provides easy options for that in a pinch. The location makes it feel so private and intimate. We got so many compliments on our wedding and the choice of venue. I cant express enough how AMAZING this venue is. Dee Dee and her husband love every couple that chooses their venue to start their story together and it shows!! Our day was so magical and unforgettable thanks to them!:)

My daughter was married here in December. Although this is a beautiful outdoor event the inside was just as magical. The owners were very accommodating and supportive during a difficult 2020 wedding season. Tablecloths, signs, lanterns, tables, chairs were all provided with the rental fee. They saved us a lot of money and headache especially since the wedding had to be replanned three different times due to governmental restrictions. We are indebted to the owners for allowing my daughter to have her fairy tail wedding!!!

The owners were very accommodating and supportive during a difficult 2020 wedding season. Tablecloths, signs, lanterns, tables, chairs were all provided with the rental fee. They saved us a lot of money and headache especially since the wedding had to be replanned three different times due to governmental restrictions. We are indebted to the owners for allowing my daughter to have her fairy tail wedding!!!

My sister had her wedding here and it was truly a gorgeous venue! It felt whimsical and like it came straight from a movie scene! The owner DeeDee was also such a positive addition to the wedding and made it the least stressful for my sister (the bride) on the day of! I definitely recommend and even am considering this wonderful venue for my own wedding in the future!

I ended up finding Sadie Lake last minute since my Venue cancelled on us due to COVID. DeeDee was so accommodating to us in every way! She went above and beyond what she has to do as the venue owner. On the day of the wedding she was out there literally helping make us decorations as we panicked to get the venue ready in time for the ceremony to start. What started out as a stressful search for a new venue turned into both of us being relieved we switched to this venue. I have been hearing non stop from our guests how beautiful and perfect the venue was for our wedding and I will 100% recommend Sadie Lake to anyone who asks. One more thing to mention, the current owners are NEW owners as of 2020 so any old negative reviews are from the previous owners, not DeeDee and Mark.

We had the most delightful experience getting married at Sadie Lake! The venue is so naturally beautiful but also so well kept and clean. DeeDee was so easy to work with and will bend over backwards to make sure you're happy and enjoy your special day. I was able to have my dream wedding in the middle of chaos and I'll be forever grateful! I can't say enough how easy it was to get married here, how affordable, and how great DeeDee and her husband were to work with. There are so many options for different wedding styles here as well it'd be impossible to not fall in love with this place.

This venue is absolutely stunning. From the picturesque landscape to the little details, there is something new to see around every corner. The staff​ is so down to earth and helpful. You can tell that they care about their clients. Also being in Washington, one reason I went with this venue is the unique balance of indoor and outdoor spaces. I had plenty of charming spaces for my guests as it rained and a beautiful outdoor space when the sun came out! I would recommend this venue again and again!

We had looked at nearly every single outdoor venue in Whatcom county down to Seattle and we knew that Sadie Lake was the one when we finally found it. Our guests loved the scenery and we were thrilled to have such an amazing wedding that only Sadie Lake could provide. Thank you to Steve and all those at the venue that made this day possible. Besides a minor issue that was quickly resolved the day before the wedding, Steve was helpful, easy-going, and personable.Don't miss out on Sadie Lake - We loved it so much there and hope that you will too.
