Sage Lodge is a versatile wedding venue in Pray, MT. Set a the heart of the magical Paradise Valley, our event facility is the perfect romantic backdrop for your big day. Once you set foot on the stunning natural landscape, spectacular vistas of the snowcapped Absaroka Mountains and the renowned Yellowstone River will take your breath away. Whatever you envision for your special day, our experienced team will work diligently to make your destination wedding flow seamlessly. By hosting your wedding at Sage Lodge, you can look forward to a memorable celebration with sweeping views and resort amenities at your disposal. If you're seeking an outdoor Montana experience, you can choose between two ceremony sites to exchange your vows. The Yellowstone Lawn is framed by mountain views and captivating scenery, creating a tranquil space to say "I do." Alternatively, the Wedding Field is a mesmerizing meadow showcasing the beauty of our property's vast fields and pasture. The lawns can also be used for your welcome reception, cocktail hour, or wedding banquet. Our Reception Field is the perfect outdoor location set at the base of Emigrant Peak and allows for celebrations of up to 500 guests. If you would like to dine indoors, our Yellowstone Room is perfectly equipped for an evening reception. Spacious and airy, this room features high loft ceilings and expansive windows that fill the area with natural light. This space can be adapted to suit your wedding theme, whether it's rustic, elegant, or something in between. If your event is more intimate, our Private Dining Room and Library are great for elopements, rehearsal dinners, or small parties. At Sage Lodge, we offer a variety of services, including all-inclusive packages, luxury accommodations, and catering. Our staff can take care of setting up the event space and providing the necessary clean-up when the day ends. We are also happy to offer 34 comfortable guestrooms at the main lodge and 4 luxury Ranch Houses where you and your guests can spend the night. During your stay, you can partake in local activities such as hiking, fly fishing, and wildlife watching. When you are ready for some pampering, our full-service spa is ideal for rest and relaxation.

They were attentive, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring our wedding day went smoothly. They worked closely with us in the planning process, accommodating our specific requests and helping us navigate any challenges that arose.One of the standout features of the venue was its flexibility. We had the freedom to personalize every aspect of our celebration, from the layout of the reception area to the choice of catering and decor. This flexibility allowed us to create a wedding that was uniquely \"us.\"Logistics were handled seamlessly, from parking arrangements to guest accommodations. The venue's facilities were well-maintained and provided all the amenities we needed. The Sage Lodge is an incredible place to get married. My husband I were married there in April 2022 and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the resort and the staff.Firstly, Kelly Irhke is a terrific venue liaison and event coordinator. Kelly truly went above and beyond for us and our entire wedding party. We had an intimate ceremony and reception dinner (about 40 guests), yet we were treated like any other grand and luxe wedding. Kelly made our simple wedding elegant, memorable and stress free. Additionally, Kelly and the resort’s kitchen crew were phenomenal in designing our wedding dinner menu around my Celiac disease. I have had very few dining experiences where I can trust that my difficult dining needs are met. The food was incredible too!Lastly, our wedding party and family all stayed in the ranch houses for three days and really enjoyed it. The ranch houses are gorgeous, yet intimate and cozy and served our vision for relaxing and connecting with our close family and friends. All in all, while this a beautiful and luxurious spot to hold an event, what made our experience was truly the staff. Everyone from the front desk staff to our wedding dinner waiters was friendly, kind, thoughtful and so wonderful in going out of their way to see that all of our needs were met and then some. I can’t thank Kelly and all the staff at Sage for helping us throw a perfect wedding and for our wonderful stay.Thank you!!

We were married at Sage Lodge in 2021. We could not have picked a better location. The venue is stunning and the staff are incredible. We had a wedding of 40 and everyone stayed onsite. Highly recommend!

Sage Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding. Besides the obvious stunning location, the venue provided everything to make our wedding weekend perfect. Using the on site restaurants for our Rehearsal Dinner and Reception, as well as their beautiful ceremony and reception space made our wedding truly special. ALL of the staff at Sage, from the event coordinator to the hotel staff were a dream to work with. They were responsive, accommodating, and best of all always so kind and happy to help. Also five star food and drinks!
