Saint Clements Castle was a stunning stunning venue for our dream wedding. We chose the Waterford side and it was just so spectacular! The grounds, the ballroom, the art gallery room, every nook and cranny was a work of art and our guests were SO IMPRESSED! We had a rainy day, and they had a tent for us on an outdoor patio that provided the same view of the river and hills that we would have had if we could have been fully outside. This option made us feel even happier that we chose Saint Clements, because regardless of weather, we still had that same special feeling in what we chose as our special place! The staff were BRILLIANT! Rebecca was our sales associate and she was so helpful and patient through the planning period, Ashley was assigned as our Day-of Coordinator and she was a CHAMPION! And my assigned personal assistant Isis was so kind, calm, and extremely helpful. The food was OUTSTANDING! We and our parents are pretty picky about quality and higher end cuisine, everything blew us away! I wish we can have our entrees again over and over! We had the sea bass, panko chicken, mushroom ravioli, and the filet. They were all absolutely incredible. I will be dreaming about the food for a LONG time ❤️. And everyone RAVED about our signature drink. Who would have thought a simple jalapeño margarita would have EVERYONE talking about it for days! I already have friend and family asking for the ingredients so they can replicate it! Something special to mention is that they have events throughout the year where you can go for food/app tastings, as well as a Mother’s Day event and others. It is a wonderful way to feel really connected to this place and have it feel even more special and like home when you come for your big day. I will recommend Saint Clements always!

We got married in the Waterford Room and it was perfect. The Harvest Room and the Gallery where we held the ceremony were already tastefully decorated for the holidays with red, gold and green so it cut our job in half. Our day-of coordinator, Danielle, was amazing. She was on top of every detail and made it feel so seamless that we were able to thoroughly enjoy ourselves. The food was phenomenal and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

I had my wedding here on Saturday at the River’s Edge ballroom and I can’t even explain how amazing they were! So many of my guests are still raving about how amazing the food was and saying that it was the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to. My coordinator, Danielle, was incredible. She put up all my decor beautifully and went above and beyond for us. I am just over the moon with how everything turned out. If you are thinking about choosing this venue for your wedding, DO IT!

We absolutely loved our Saint Clements wedding! The grounds are beautiful and the people are great. We made a last minute change due to the weather, and Ashley and Alyssa were so communicative and helpful. They kept the day running on time and smooth as can be! As a bride, I appreciated that servers came around regularly to offer appetizers during cocktail hour and take drink orders for the wedding party - we truly got to enjoy our wedding day without feeling rushed, nervous, or unattended to. Highly recommend!

We were so happy with our choice to have our wedding at Saint Clement's Castle and Marina. We were at the River's Edge venue which is a stunning spot right on the water. We got many compliments from our guests on the beauty of the venue, the food (which we also loved!) and the set up of the evening. Alyssa, our sales coordinator, walked us through every step of the process and was incredibly responsive, kind, and professional. Gerri, our day of coordinator was such a professional who was there for anything we needed and did a wonderful job making everything run perfectly. I couldn't have been happier with all of the things Saint Clement's took care of because it caused me so much less stress in planning and let me knot worry about anything on the day of! Gorgeous venue with incredible service - would HIGHLY recommend!

St. Clements was great! They did a fantastic job, and everything runs like clockwork. Beautiful venue, friendly staff, and delicious food. They make it very easy with all the food and drinks included. For us, the rain forecast was pretty bleak so we decided a few days ahead of time to move the ceremony indoors. They were incredibly efficient doing the ceremony in the main ballroom, having the guests go to a separate beautiful area for cocktails, and meanwhile changing the main room around for dinner. And after the ceremony they kept bringing us food and drinks since we were so busy trying to talk to each of our guests - super appreciated. If you want a beautiful and low-stress wedding, St. Clements is for you! (And shout out to Jeri - she was incredible!)

This was seriously the most perfect, fairytale venue!! Everyone on our wedding day just kept telling me how gorgeous the venue was and how good the food was. So many people said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The staff here are so professional and organized. Our sales manager, Rebecca, was so great answering all of our questions leading up, and then the day of, we had Danielle as our day-of coordinator and Amanda as our event manager and they were AMAZING. Literally amazing!! The floors in the Waterford Ballroom were recently redone to be all hard woods, which looked absolutely beautiful. And there's now a second rain option for the ceremony incase of inclement weather since they recently extended their patio under the awning area. It's also great that this venue is all inclusive of food and drink because that made planning so much easier for us. Lastly, the pricing I also found to be very reasonable considering what you get in your package. I received a LOT of quotes when looking at venues and although we did opt for a Friday wedding to try and save a little bit, we thought the pricing for that was super reasonable compared to other quotes we were getting. I just love this place so much!!!!!!! My mom already wants to go back there for a holiday or Mother's Day brunch LOL. In hindsight we could not image getting married anywhere else, this place was PERFECT!

Saint Clements Castle was an absolute dream venue not only for the gorgeous views and ornate estate, but the staff was incredible. I worked with Rebecca throughout the year to work on planning and Danielle the day of my wedding. Both were professional, helpful, and personable. They helped me to achieve my vision, make everything run smoothly, and give me my dream wedding. They worked on displays with me, answered my millions of questions, and helped me with planning immensely. I truly mean it when I say everything was absolutely perfect. I would recommend this venue to anyone!!

Our ceremony was beautiful. The food was amazing. The service provided by the staff on the day of our wedding was flawless. Why the low rating? Lack of professionalism on the part of the sales staff. The venue redecorated the ballroom did not inform us until 8 weeks before the wedding. The Prince Edward Ballroom was transformed from a lavishly decorated ornate space with rich carpeting and wallpaper to a neutral space with shades of white, silver, and gray. When we asked our sales associate, why we weren't informed of the renovation, she responded, \"That wouldn't have been my role\". Instead of informing us of the renovation in a timely fashion, they gushed over how we were \"getting the renovated ballroom at the pre renovated price.\" We booked a beautiful well decorated space, we only wish we could have had our wedding in it. Instead our reception was held in a cold neutral space devoid of warmth and character, the very environment we avoided when searching for a venue. When we expressed this to management, we were told, \"we can't change that now.\" and \" I have to tell you other couples really like the neutral space.\" They had the right to redecorate, but also the responsibility to inform us of the renovation. They could have been honest with us and informed us of the renovation in a timely manner. Had they informed us of the change in timely fashion, we would have selected a venue in keeping with what we wanted for our wedding. Saint Clements' website says they want to \"ensure your event is executed with quality and care.\" I wish they lived up to that promise.

Everything was absolutely perfect—better than I ever could have dreamed! I had my reception here and it was worth every penny. The Marina is beautiful and the staff is incredible at what they do. My sales coordinator Rebecca was so kind and made sure to answer all of my questions. Jeri was the reception coordinator/manager and she anticipated all of my and my husband’s needs in addition to setting up all our decor and making sure the night was seamless. She was honestly a Godsend, offering reassurance at our meeting before my wedding day and making sure there was nothing to stress about the day of my wedding. Furthermore, Jeri made sure my parents and my husband’s parents had everything they needed. Our personal server Danielle was a sweetheart and made sure we got to enjoy our dinner. I highly recommend this venue if you are getting married in CT!

My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Saint Clements Castle for the wedding of your dreams. Saint Clements went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly and was the most beautiful day. We had our wedding in the Sunken Gardens in April-the property was absolutely beautiful, even though spring was just beginning. The reception was in the Prince Edward Ballroom-a true fairytale location! We worked with Rebecca leading up to our wedding. Rebecca is hardworking, kind, and a dedicated member of the Saint Clements staff! She worked with us to answer any and all questions and was always so kind and professional about it. Rebecca was communicative and followed up after we had any questions. We felt confident in our choice of Saint Clements, even before the wedding day came! A few days before the wedding, we met with the Saint Clements team that would be assisting us with our wedding and they were also very knowledgable. On the day of the wedding, Geri and Talia went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. Geri was there to welcome us once we were wrapping up pictures on the premises and made us feel comfortable from the very start. Our wedding ceremony was seamless and absolutely beautiful. Geri, Talia, and their team were there no matter what- providing drinks, snacks during cocktail hour, even having safety pins when my bustle broke! During cocktail hour, a staff member was assigned to make sure I (the bride) ate and drank. After many of the weddings I’ve been to, I’ve yet to see this happen for other brides! I was able to enjoy the food/drink on my wedding day. During dinner, the staff helped us with the timing of when to go say hello to people/when to eat. Everyone is still raving about the food! It was hot and the service was incredible. You can tell the staff truly enjoys working there which is evident in the experience they provide. Everything was absolutely perfect and we cannot thank Saint Clements enough for their dedication to making dreams come true. Thank you for making our day a dream come true-we are forever grateful!

Saint Clements Castle is the absolute best! We got married on the Prince Edwards side of the castle and it was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was great to work with and extremely professional. I have odd dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate me while still making delicious food! Day of the wedding the zipper of my dress completely broke, and our day of coordinator, Jerri, went above and beyond trying to help fix the dress so I could get down the isle and take pictures. Between the gorgeous views, amazing food, and amazing staff, I cannot recommend them enough!!!

We got married at Saint Clements Castle in June 2022. Pam and her team were so incredible. As with any wedding venue, be sure to book well in advance! My dad had attended a work function at Saint Clements Castle and recommended for us to go tour the place. We visited the grounds in late March 2021 and lucky for us we didn't have to go looking at other venues! Since we were looking more than a year in advance, we were able to get our first pick on a date for the Prince Edwards Ballroom. The ceremony took place in the gardens which is a little further away from the main building. I believe the venue allots 30 minutes for the ceremony followed by 5 hours for the rest of the reception/night. There is a price per person, which includes the cocktail food, plated dinner or buffet, and open bar. The price varies by season and day of the week. The cake is also included from Chimirri's bakery in Wethersfield, CT. There are also add-ons for extra food such as seafood bar or desserts. The team at Saint Clements really went above and beyond to help us plan the most magical night. Overall, the process was just so easy. So many of the guests told us about how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed the food and venue. Our experience with the team was very personalized and we felt like we were treated like family there. 10/10 would recommend them!

In our final meeting we met our day of coordinator, Ashley, and with her assistant Abby they took care of EVERY need on our special day. The coordinators and staff at Saint Clements are truly pros and everything you could ask for on your wedding day. We first heard about the venue from several other happy couples and after touring the grounds and feeling like we stepped into a fairytale we knew this was the venue for us! The team of Pam, Katelynn and Ashley were so attentive and with us every step of the way. Pam answered every single question that I had and was very responsive leading up to the wedding day, making sure everything was in place. I also cannot say enough good things about the day-of coordinators and staff. Despite rain and an unexpected bear on the grounds trying to crash our first look, both Ashley and Katelynn were there by our sides to make sure the day was seamless! The guests also raved about the food, the grounds and the way that everything ran like a well oiled machine. Saint Clements is simply the best there is for a wedding venue in CT!

This venue had it all - aesthetic, great food, great service and rock star staff. My husband and I were floored by how responsive and helpful our coordinators Ashely and Rebecca were from the planning process straight through the wedding day. The staff on the day of the wedding was so attentive we (including our guests) wanted for nothing! It was such a marvelous experience and I will be recommending this venue to everyone!

My husband and I got married at Saint Clements Castle on 9/30/22 on the Prince Edward side--the best day ever. Where to begin! The grounds on the entire estate are well maintained and the landscape is absolutely beautiful. Perfect for pictures! Our ceremony was held in the Sunken Gardens and I was floored at how stunning everything looked when our ceremony decor and alter came together combined with the beautiful gardens. Next, the cocktail hour was both inside/outside the tavern. The courtyard looked stunning with Edison bulb lighting and the tavern was awesome with a cozy rustic feel. Lastly, the ballroom itself was perfect. The gold chivari chairs combined with the gorgeous chandeliers were stunning. The ballroom is spacious and comfortable, so no one felt on top of one another. Additionally, the ballroom comes with up-lighting so that was really fun when it was time for dancing.As far as the package goes-- it includes 7 passed hors d'oeuvre's, pasta course, salad course, entree (beef, fish, chicken and vegetarian options), wine service, champagne toast, 4.5 hours open bar, 3-tiered cake from Chimirri's bakery, bridal suite, bridal attendant and day of coordinator. It includes literally everything you may need. The food was fabulous; I ate almost my entire meal and guests raved about the food, especially the filet mignon! The staff is top tier. We worked with Rebecca Sola from start to finish and she is so helpful, responsive and organized. Working with her made wedding planning less stressful as she answered any and all questions so quick and efficiently. Next, our day of coordinator was Danielle. She was amazing and so on top of it. Everything from vendor set up to the exit sendoff was organized. Everything went on without a hitch, and even if there were any issues, we didn't know about it! Also, our bridal attendants were so sweet--they ensured that we had something to drink or eat at all times. Ultimately, we had the most special day and it's all thanks to the team at Saint Clements Castle. We truly have nothing but good things to say about the staff and venue. We cannot recommend enough!

We had our wedding on September 17, 2022 on the Waterford side and it was truly the best experience! The venue itself is gorgeous, from the views of the river, the gorgeous chandeliers, and the perfectly maintained gardens and landscape. On top of that the food was great and then staff was amazing. We worked with Rebecca for the year leading up who helped answer all my questions and kept us organized. The day of, we had amazing planners, Lindsay and Jeri, who were a dream for day of coordination. They helped the entire day run flawlessly, and Jeri was always there to accommodate me and the wedding party with drinks, food, and whatever else we needed. Jeri quickly helped when some pasta spilled on my dress, when I needed something from the bridal suite, and made sure that I ate the day of! I highly recommend this venue!

We absolutely loved our day! My husband is in the army and had military obligations during our tasting. When we could not make the tasting, Pam (who is AMAZING) made sure that we were able to get in for a private lunch and got to pick a few dishes on our own that we wanted to try, wine included with an invite to bring someone else in to come to the tasting in his stead. The customer service has been fantastic all the way through. In the year and a half of planning, I can tell you any questions I had were handled and in a timely manner. The day prior to the wedding, we had our meeting and brought in any items we needed set up, explained anything etc. We met with our wedding coordinator, who assured me that despite rain in the forecast it would still be beautiful! It did rain right when we got there for our first look and the ceremony but they was on it. She assured me the interior would be the best option but that I should be able to go out when it dries off for some beautiful photos. She was absolutely right. My husband and I still had all the best photos outside we wanted. I have had multiple family and friends tell us how this was by far the best wedding they have been to! The food tasted better at the wedding than the food tasting we went to. Everything from their vendor suggestions went super well! Every detail was spot on. I can’t begin to tell you how much I stressed before our big day and to see it all play out nicely I would do it all again, even in the rain! You won’t find anything quite like it! We also had our own personal server who made sure we ate on our day, very important since some couples mention they don’t even get to eat any of the food on their day, but we did! Thank you so much Saint Clements! I can’t wait to get my photos so I can tag you on IG.

There is not enough words to say how amazing our wedding day was thanks to the staff and service at Saint Clements Castle. Pam, Ashley, Erin, Donna and the rest of the staff were so attentive, kind, reassuring and professional. They made sure we were well taken care of, stress free as possible and just amazing. They made our day so perfect. After dinner the chef came out and asked about the meals (which were EXCELLENT). Our guests have been raving about the cocktail hour appetizers and raw bar!!! I would do it all again and not change a single thing!!! Thank you Saint Clement’s!!!

The moment we walked onto the property we knew it was the place for us. The greenery, flowers, view of the river, the stone patio and walkways..and that is all before going inside into the Waterford ballroom! The art gallery and stone fireplace, the deep wood details, authentic decor for the castle, large dance floor were the perfect indoor details. On top of the beauty, the sales manager Rebecca walked us through everything, answered every question promptly, was so polite and pleasant. The support of the day of coordinator, Danielle, was perfect. Not a detail was missed and it was everything I dreamed! The food was excellent, the night was perfect!

Saint Clement’s Castle was more than we ever dreamed of. It was a true fairy tale of a day. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The amount of compliments we received not only on the beauty, but also the incredible staff at Saint Clements speaks volumes. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone we worked with whether the day of or while planning were responsive and accommodating. We had our final meeting two days before the wedding to review all of the final details. We brought in our box filled with decor, placement cards, etc and it was beautifully displayed the day of to enhance what the castle already has to offer. Pam messaged me weeks after our wedding checking in on the status of my father in law because she knew he was not well. She continually sent her love and prayers as soon as she found out. We cannot wait to go back to Saint Clement’s as a guest at another wedding to be able to soak everything in again from a different standpoint. The food was fantastic, cocktail hour and our meal choices. We didn’t want everyone sitting at the table for hours eating their meal so our coordinator had recommended doing the pasta course at cocktail hour as a station. We loved this idea!

My Husband(!) and I got married here over this past weekend and words cannot describe how phenomenal the experience was. Quick background on us— we go to A LOT of weddings (like average of 15 weddings a year for the past 5 years- A LOT) so not only do we have a lot of experience with wedding venues, but our guests do too. We knew people would tell us how beautiful the venue was (and it IS absolutely stunning) but it is the first time we have ever heard our friends specify the incredible level of service they received at someone else’s wedding venue. We had dinner with a large group of our guests the night after our wedding and every single one went out of their way to tell us how blown away they were by the staff and service. We heard all types of very specific feedback— everything from “it was the most food I’ve ever seen at a cocktail hour” to “in all the black tie weddings I’ve been to no one has ever asked me how I wanted my steak cooked before” to “the bartender was so amazing I complimented her on her glitter eyeshadow and she literally gave me some to put on.” Every single person on the Castle staff went above and beyond anything any of our guests have experienced despite most of our friends being what we refer to as “professional wedding guests.” :)Pam, Lindsey, Jenna and the entire Saint Clements staff were a joy to be around and extremely attentive not only to our own needs, but to the needs of all 160 guests we had in the Waterford Ballroom.The food was PHENOMENAL. The property was BREATHTAKING and the service was beyond our wildest expectations. Best decision we’ve ever made was choosing this venue. Truly the best night of our lives.

Literally the best venue in Connecticut BY FAR! We have no regrets going with an a la carte venue. From the beautiful scenery, to the best food and the amazing staff. Everything was picture perfect, timeless and romantic. Our guests have said it was the best wedding food they have EVER had. We were on the prince edwards side for a spring wedding and it was so perfect! Our one regret from the entire night was not dancing more! Hands down, the best venue all around. What’s also nice is that saint clements has holiday events happening all year, so we will always have an opportunity to go back and visit where we got married.

We had an amazing time here at our wedding. The coordinator and servers took the best care of us and we were able enjoy the food and our day. I had a couple of reservations when booking this venue, one being that there would be a second wedding going on at once the other being no rehearsal. I could barely notice the other reception going on at the same time as ours, they were completely separate. And we did not need a rehearsal, our coordinator was great at getting everyone in line and the day went off without a hitch!

I am so happy we went with Saint Clements Castle for our wedding ceremony and reception. The place is stunning, the staff is exceptional, and the food is delicious. 10/10 would recommend! I looked into nearly 100 different venues in Connecticut, Massachusetts and upstate New York, and I was shocked that Saint Clements had rates within our budget. We went with the Prince Edwards side on a Sunday to keep the costs down, and we lucked out with the weather!

This is an absolutely AMAZING venue. It is breathtaking just upon driving in, and the waterfront view is outstanding. Saint Clements staff were extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process and very responsive to any questions. Everyone was amazing the day of and helped make the day run so smoothly. The flowers around are stunning based on the seasons, and the views are incredible. The food and drinks were great and there is so much to choose from. Everyone loved their time here. We truly could not have asked for a better place to get married!

My husband and I got married at Saint Clements Castle on January 15th, 2022. We had so much fun!! It was honestly the best wedding I’ve even been to, and I’m not just saying that cause it was my wedding. We originally booked our wedding with Saint Clements Castle before Covid, and had to postpone because of Covid. They were so flexible and the postponing process was seamless. I kept hearing nightmare postponing or wedding cancelation stories from other people and Saint Clements was so understanding and so easy to work with.The weeks/days leading up to the wedding they were also so flexible with our last minute cancellations, due to Covid. So much so, that at our final appointment they asked who else had canceled on us, and accommodated us. They were so understanding and truly wonderful. Huge shout out to Pam!! Day of the wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding!! It was like a fairy tale. The whole team the day of made everything so easy and stress free for us. They told us where to go and when so we didn’t have to worry about anything. They made sure we had enough to eat, and had a drink in our hand. Even now our guests keep texting us saying it was one the best weddings they’ve every been to. Highly recommend Saint Clements Castle for any couple!!! P.S. the espresso enhancement is amazing! It was a huge hit!

Let me start by saying that I never write reviews but if I could, I’d write 100 about Saint Clements. If you’re searching for a venue, search no further - this is it. My husband and I got married this past Saturday. As you can imagine, our life has been filled with stress. On top of regular wedding stress, the surge in COVID cases made us dread our special day all until we went and had our final meeting with the staff at Saint Clements. I could never express to you how much I appreciate the staff, their dedication to our vision, their flexibility with COVID related changes, and their overall support of my husband and I. From the moment we arrived at the venue, the staff took control and ran our event seamlessly. The food was outstanding and abundant, the venue was beautifully decorated and amazing, the staff executed our every wish and most importantly, they made sure there was always a drink in our hand! I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for making our day stress-free and fun when we were so full of COVID-related doubt! I love you all and hope that you know how much We appreciate you!

I cannot begin to express how amazing our experience was at Saint Clements Castle. We just had our wedding there on Dec. 3, 2021 and everything was flawless. My guests raved about the food, especially the appetizers and shrimp risotto! The castle was decorated beautifully for the holiday season and every single staff member was kind and willing to help whenever possible. We had a longgg engagement (almost 3 years) and had to delay our wedding because of COVID, but Pam was consistently supporting us every step of the way. No question was left unanswered and response times were rapid! If you are deciding between Saint Clements and a different venue, make no mistake, Saint Clements is the way to go!

We got married 10.8.21, I can not recommend this venue enough!!! Pam was so incredible through the whole planning process throughout COVID. I was able to keep my original wedding date. Pam was always there answering any questions I had. They made a tent on location a few months before my wedding and she made sure to let me know. The tent was incredible they did it as a precaution for COVID but we were able to use it for cocktail hour and it was amazing!! Lindsey was our day of coord and she was fantastic!! I am a very organized person so I came into our final meeting with tons of pictures to make sure they understood my vision, Lindsey took what I gave her and made it so much better!! We had extras of items and she was able to take my thoughts from my head and make them real. I was able to relax during the day knowing she had everything under control. Our ceremony went over time, and she was able to make sure we were able to get out schedule back on track to be timed the way I wanted it to be. I honestly can not imagine having my wedding anywhere else.

We chose Saint Clements Castle for our wedding reception (we were married elsewhere in a private ceremony) because not only was the venue beautiful but we felt that everything was included and they had a lot of experience. They were so flexible and accommodating when we had to postpone our 2020 reception to 2021 because of COVID. The postponing process was pretty painless and we were able to get the same date a year later. Even the week leading up we had last minute guest list changes due to health issues and they were very understanding. On the day of the set up our decor exactly how we wanted and ran the evening so smoothly. All of guests said they had so much fun, enjoyed the food, and thought the venue was beautiful. If you're looking for a fun and easy to plan wedding, Saint Clements is the place to book.

When we first went to Saint Clements Castle we were instantly drawn to the venue and knew this would be where we got married after touring several other locations. We worked with Lauren and Rebecca who were absolutely attentive and thorough with their work. They made every part of the wedding planning simple and less stressful than we could have ever imagined. They were always a phone call or email away and answered every question and honestly pretty much provided us with all information so there were no surprises. What we really appreciated about Saint clements was their wedding package and everything they offered. It was one of the only locations that included a wedding cake from a local bakery as well as a wedding coordinator the day off who made everything run so smoothly we didn’t even have to think about it. Our wedding coordinator was Lindsey and WE CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH how wonderful she was. We love you Lindsey! Thank you for sewing Rob’s missing button on his suit and fixing my dress malfunction! She was so attentive, fun to work with, and easy going. She did so much more for us then we could’ve even imagined that day. She absolutely exceeded our expectations. Her and my bridal attendant really made our day perfect and stress free. We can not thank them enough! The grounds are beautiful and perfect for photography (you honestly don’t even need to have additional decorations, the venue is beautiful on its own with no surprise charges for that either compared to venues we looked at). We got married in the waterford ballroom overlooking the river. It was a perfect day. Finally, the food was absolutely amazing. So many of our guests complimented it. Seriously look no further. This wedding venue was perfect.

I cannot say enough about Saint Clements both the location and the staff. We visited Saint Clements right before Covid and my husband and I immediately fell in love. The ground are beautiful. We chose to have our wedding in the Prince Edward side because we got the best of both world. We took our first look pictures by the dock, got married in the garden, and then had the amazing tavern for cocktail hour. The bridal suite for the prince Edward side is huge, and for our giant bridal party we really needed that! Fast forward to actual wedding, it was misting all day, and the moment our ceremony was suppose to start it poured, we went with it and all the staff was so helpful in still making sure it happened. It was still beautiful rain and all. Lindsey, our coordinator, bless her heart was out there in the rain with us, helped me get my now soaking 1000 pound dress all bustled up, and just made it so relaxed I didn’t even care about the rain. The food. Oh My Goodness!!!! 10000 stars. It was incredible. Myself, my husband and family are Italians from NY - food wise they are hard to please and literally everyone is still raving about the food. The steak literally cut like butter and all the cocktail food blew us away. The stations, The Hors d’oeuvres, the bar tending staff made cocktail hour perfect. The staff both leading up to and the day of went above and beyond. Any questions I had they answered within 72 hours, they truly have a real day of coordinator that made our vision come to life, and we’re so attentive. I have celiacs and they made sure to make my life easy by not having to worry about any contamination issue.

I couldn’t be happier with this venue!The location and scenery are perfect, but most wedding venues are beautiful, so that wasn’t even the best part...Wedding planning is difficult enough, but the staff at St Clements made it as simple and straight forward as possible. They were incredibly organized and helped keep us on track with regards to where in the process we should be (my husband and I are resident doctors and are incredibly busy. We also had to postpone for COVID which added additional obstacles to the process). Our contacts at St Clements were 100% responsive within 24 hours to 100% of our messages/emails (I’ve heard stories about certain venues “ghosting” their clients for weeks on end), which made the process so much easier/more enjoyable. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and dedicated to customer service. I genuinely feel like they cared about making my wedding the way I wanted it to be. ...And the day of was perfect! Danielle always made sure I had a glass of champagne in hand, and did her best to keep me on my timeline. I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I honestly couldn’t be happier with this venue. If I end up getting married again, I’ll choose the same place.

We absolutely loved the entire property at Saint Clements from the start and it set the stage for the best day of our lives! Our wedding was on the Waterford side during the day. We were fortunate to have perfect weather and the ceremony view in front of the water was immaculate. The Waterford ball room was perfect for our reception size (~135 people) and we loved the ability to have both indoor and outdoor spaces available for people to gather. Lauren (sales manager) was very responsive and informative throughout the preparation process and eased our minds every step of the way through the pandemic. She was always friendly and answered questions with the perfect amount of detail, while still getting straight to the point. We had originally scheduled our wedding in 2020, and seamlessly rolled it into 2021 (actually upgraded it to Labor Day weekend which was what we initially wanted) without any issues at all. Katelynn (day-of coordinator) was amazing and one step ahead of me and my controlling self the entire day. She was kind and many of my guests commented about her professionalism.Overall just an amazing experience start to finish, we do not have words for how happy we are! Would recommend to all.

I absolutely recommend Saint Clements Castle to anyone considering this venue for your wedding. From the moment we walked in (in 2018) we knew that this was the place we wanted to become husband and wife. Jacob was our initial wedding coordinator and he was fantastic, eventually we were transitioned to Pam who went above and beyond with every COVID update, and date change. Not only did Pam and the entire staff make our day so special, but in the very stressful planning process during covid, became a therapist, a cheerleader and friend in what could have been the worst times in our lives. A week before our wedding, my mother unfortunately suffered a stroke and Pam swooped in and spoke to all of the staff and came up with a plan to accommodate and make sure that not only could my mom be present that day, but attended to and spoiled so she could ENJOY herself without feeling all eyes were on her. They even escorted her to and from the ceremony site on their golf cart! The day of the wedding, all of the stress melted away and we were finally able to enjoy and celebrate with all of our loved ones, the way we always imagined doing. We appreciated every email, every update and every call to keep us informed. They are not just a venue but truly care about every couple having the best day of their lives and work their hardest to make it come to reality. If there were more stars available, i would totally leave them!

Saint Clements Castle & Marina was straight out of a fairytale. I legitimately cried after the first time visiting because I was in awe of how beautiful it was. We live in New York and wanted our guests to have an experience that was not your typical catering hall wedding venue- to say our guests were floored as well is an understatement. We had guests coming up to us saying they felt they were overseas because of how beautiful the grounds were. Lauren went above and beyond every step of our wedding process to ensure our questions were answered and most importantly that we were happy and relaxed leading up to our day. The staff at Saint Clements are an 1000000/10. Don’t walk, run and book them. You won’t be sorry

I worked with Pam throughout the entire planning process, which was also during the pandemic. She was always so responsive, calling me minutes after I sent her an email. She really took the time to go through all the different scenarios of what our day could look like and kept me updated on all of the Covid regulations as they changed. I always felt so much better after talking with her. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to all of the attentive staff. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. They truly know what they’re doing and are so organized. At the end of the night they packed up all our decor for us and left such a sweet note! Can’t imagine having to do that ourselves! The grounds and ballroom are absolutely beautiful and the all inclusive price was what drew us to Saint Clements. So reasonable. I could go on and on about all the great things this venue has to offer!

Look no further!!! My fiance found this venue on a Google search after we spent an entire year looking at venues on Long Island, Westchester and CT. None of the venues we saw felt unique enough and simply felt like they were just \"another catering hall\" until we visited Saint Clements Castle. We immediately fell in love with the gorgeous venue, specially the ceremony space for the Waterford Ballroom, (the great lawn that overlooks the CT River) and with the interior of the castle itself. We booked a few days later and after having our wedding there on 06/27/2021 all I wish I could do is re-live that day over and over again. We worked with Lauren Barone, who patiently navigated us through a postponement and through the uncertainties and ever changing guidelines of a pandemic. Lauren never stopped communicating with us, always responded to our questions promptly and she was extremely accommodating throughout. Katelynn was our event manager for the day of and she made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time and that everything ran smoothly. As a bride, I never worried about what was happening and simply had fun. My husband and I never worried throughout the wedding since we knew Katelynn had it all under control. Erin, who personally served my husband and I made sure to we were fed and hydrated at all times while taking pictures and doing our first look. Our wedding was perfect, we were able to have our ceremony outdoors, the venue allowed us to use their newly set-up tent and the outside for cocktail hour and our reception was in the Waterford Ballroom. Our guests are still raving about the view and the beauty of the venue, the service and most importantly, the food! The food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The passed hors d'oeuvres were sufficient enough and not only looked good but also tasted great. We added a slider station with beef, and pulled pork and it was a huge hit for cocktail hour. We had Filet Mignon, prime rib, sea bass and mushroom ravioli as our entrees. Nothing was bland or overcooked. Everything was incredible. The included wedding cake from Chimirri's was also delicious. Thank you all at Saint Clements for an unforgettable experience and for making our day absolutely perfect.

I am so incredibly happy I chose Saint Clements for my wedding. The entire venue is like something out of a fairy tale, and the coordinators and staff are absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I were originally having out 200 person wedding there in March of 2020 – but about a week before, covid dashed those plans! They were fantastic and helped us reschedule for this June and have been so amazing throughout this entire crazy process. Pam and Katelynn in particular were just a dream to work with, and I’m thankful we had them to help us with the details leading up to the big day, and to help keep things running smoothly on the day of. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Our guests were blown away by the beautiful grounds, the delicious food, professional staff, and how flawless everything was. I’m incredibly happy we chose Saint Clements for our wedding, and I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect venue!!

Our sales manager Lauren was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She was always available and quickly responded to any questions we had. My daughters dream wedding was suppose to happen Aug 2020. After many tears she decided to wait until June 2021. Because of St Clement’s staff her dream wedding went beyond anything she could have dreamed of. From the minute we got there the staff treated us like royalty. Every detail was taken care of. We were guided through every aspect of the ceremony. Every detail my daughter requested was met by the staff. The cocktail hour was very well done. The dinner was amazing. The food was hot and everything tasted great. I have to recommend the Penne Al Vodka. I am still hearing compliments from our guests about what a great wedding it was. Highly recommend!! Pam was AMAZING to work with. We had booked the venue and our wedding date (5/22/21) before the pandemic hit, and Pam was so helpful along the way. There were a lot of unknowns to navigate (number of guests, inside or outside, etc) and she gave wonderful suggestions and helped calm me down along the way. Even the small details on when to send Save the Dates, what to write on them in case we had to have a smaller wedding, how and when I should send invitations...and the list goes on. We ended up having 160 guests in the outdoor tent on the Waterford side, and it was STUNNING. Danielle was my wedding coordinator for the day, and she made my day so easy. The staff at Saint Clements is excellent, super professional and the day went so smooth. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful landscaping, grounds, and of course, the food. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had! And due to COVID, we chose to move everything outside, and the tent they invested in is beautiful. It was honestly better than I could have imagined. From the first look, to the ceremony, and dinner and dancing, it was perfect. A huge thank you to Pam and Danielle and the rest of the staff at Saint Clements for making our dream wedding come true!

I had my wedding at Saint Clements 3 weeks ago and it was honestly the best day EVER. Where do I start? The grounds were absolutely beautiful, food was good and the staff was incredible. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were taken care of by everyone, and we truly felt like it was our day. There was another wedding going on and you wouldn't even know it. Lindsay was with us the entire day running the show and she really knows what shes doing. She is phenomenal. We dealt with Pam the entire planning process and she has been exceptional. We had to postpone because of covid and she was communicative and responsive through it all and really helped and supported. My friend and family are still talking about the amazing time they had at our wedding and how beautiful everything was. We were in the Prince Edward Ballroom with the garden ceremony, it was perfect beyond words. I can not thank everyone at the castle enough for making my dreams come true with my fairytale wedding. 10/10 !!

We had our wedding here 5/29/2021. It was supposed to be in August 2020 but then covid happened. This venue worked with us the entire time throughout the pandemic. Things were changed numerous times and everything was up in the air for a long time. But then we were able to have our event but we needed to plan it fast! They were so helpful. The day of, everything came together beautifully. It rained with was a bummer but the indoor space they provided was magical. Truly magical. They were ready for whatever happened that day. We had SO MANY compliments on the food. I am a foodie so I made sure to eat and boy was it delicious. The staff was wonderful. The landscaping was just perfect. Our day was a dream and I would recommend this venue a thousand times. My expectations were greatly exceeded, and we had a lot of build-up thank to covid.

I got married at Saint Clements Castle on May 30, 2021 on the Waterford and I would recommend this venue to anyone!!! Pam has been nothing but honest, supportive, and present throughout our entire wedding planning process. As Connecticut mandates and rules kept changing, Pam kept in contact with us with every change and was very fast with responding back to us with all of our questions.When we found out that rain was in the forecast, Pam and Lindsey were with us every step of the way and offered us many different options to continue making our wedding day a dream. You never picture rain happening on your wedding day but it poured on mine & it still was the best day of my life. I would not change a thing.Lindsey was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I was nervous that the ceremony would not go to plan because there was no rehearsal but looking back, I am SO happy that we did not have one because we didn't need it! Lindsey ran the show and made sure that everyone knew where to go and what to do. It was seamless. She checked in on my husband and I throughout the entire reception and made sure everything ran smoothly. This venue is absolutely breathtaking and the people running the venue are even better! While there was another wedding happening the same day, you would never even know it. We had an incredible day filled with the perfect pictures in the bridal suite, courtyard, and all around the grounds. You do not need to look any further, Saint Clements Castle is the PERFECT wedding venue!

The best in the business! If you want a stress free, fun wedding day- book with St. Clements! My husband and I could not be more pleased with our day. The staff is SO attentive and pays attention to every detail. After the final planning meeting you will feel so relaxed and know that everything is taken care of. We had a beautiful setting for our ceremony and the Waterford Ballroom is breathtaking. The wait staff, bar staff, coordinators, and all workers are top notch. My husband and I had to postpone from 2020 and we made so many changes throughout the past few years. Pam was always willing to get on a phone call with us and answer all our questions. We were so grateful for her patience with us. With Covid still a concern for us-they let us do our ceremony/reception with just our immediate family in 2021- they helped make the day very special for us. They then hosted our 2022 1-year anniversary wedding. It was a long journey and they were so kind and understanding every step of the way. We highly recommend St. Clements to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress free day.

Saint Clements Castle is a premiere location in Connecticut for your wedding! We married on May 23, 2021 and worked with Pam and Lindsey. Both were phenomenal from the moment we met through post event. We were set to marry in August of 2020 and postponed. The venue was incredibly flexible and accommodating given the restrictions we were up against due to state mandates and CDC guidelines. Pam was there every step of the way to answer our questions and assist us in finding what options suited our wedding in the way we wished it to be. We absolutely downsized quite a bit; the experience was just as incredible if not more so. We had the Prince Edward ballroom and our ceremony was in the Sunken Gardens, which were well kept, green, unique and gorgeous just like the rest of the venue. Our photos outside look amazing! Donegal Tavern and the outdoor courtyard are beautiful and unlike anywhere else we looked. The need for additional decor was minimal in our opinion; the venue spoke for itself with its stonework, stained glass, fountains, etc. Lindsey was our wedding coordinator the day of and she was perfection. I had NO worries whatsoever and meeting her at our final planning meeting eased any stress I had. She executed and directed the wedding flawlessly. The attention we received was on point. They coordinated with vendors, packed up our personal belongings at the end of the night, the food was great with few exceptions and our guests were thrilled with the entire experience as were we. If you have the chance to attend a bridal expo when they host them again, GO! You get to try food, explore the venue and meet their preferred vendors. I highly recommend using preferred vendors because they know exactly what they are working with and it leads to a flawless experience. We had Airen Miller photography who was epic and energetic, Inspiration in Motion videography, also stellar, horse drawn carriage from Allegra Farms (SO cool) and After Hours DJ who did a great job (Mike Moscato specifically) and Sharon Elizabeth’s as our florist (I wanted NO flowers and they still made everything look amazing and helped bring our vision to life). The extra food options we added on for late night snacks were awesome and perfect for our guests. You cannot go wrong with this gorgeous, professional and top notch venue!!!

I can’t recommend Saint Clements enough, our wedding day was better than we ever could have imagined and the Saint Clements team was a huge part of making that happen. The venue is gorgeous with amazing river views, courtyards and gardens that are perfect both for guests to enjoy and for photos, and the castle itself is a unique and beautiful setting that our guests loved. Just as impressive as the castle’s aesthetics is the service and professionalism we experienced with all of the Saint Clements staff throughout the months of planning and wedding day. They were flexible, communicative and understanding as we navigated the changing Covid restrictions, and they added the most beautiful tent to create an outdoor option. Lauren the sales manager was wonderful to work with - patient, helpful, and always very quick to respond. Our wedding day manager Katelynn and her team were amazing. They took care of all the big and little details for making sure our day went smoothly and stress-free, it was a great feeling knowing we had her coordinating the day’s logistics. The service of the Saint Clements team made it so my husband and I and all of our guests could truly relax and enjoy our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Pam was amazing and helped us get through the difficult times of the pandemic and was so positive throughout the whole process :) She is so wonderful and made us feel so welcome and happy on our special day! Danielle and Katline were fantastic on our wedding day as well. She made us feel comfortable and she is very organized! She made the day feel special and spectacular. Thank goodness they were there when my dress malfunctioned thank you for the safety pin it was amazing not having to worry about someone stepping on my dress or tripping over it. Over all Saint Clements castle was a beautiful venue and I wouldn’t have wanted to get married anywhere else. It’s a day that my husband and I will remember forever. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue to get married at.

I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Saint Clements Castle. We originally booked with them in December 2019 for an original date of April 4, 2020 - 2 weeks after the entire world changed due to COVID. Obviously we were forced to postpone once, twice, and then finally landed on a third and hopeful final date of April 10, 2021. We had come to terms with “whatever we can do, we will do.” Luckily state gathering guidelines were loosened about 3 weeks before our scheduled date. It allowed us to have a significantly higher guest count than we were planning (from 38 people to around 138 people!), and this meant a much larger event for the Castle. In a matter of a few weeks they were able to secure and build an entire new outdoor tent, ballroom, custom bar, and beautiful decorations. We had originally booked this venue because of the ballroom aesthetic, but after our event we were honestly happier with our new, outdoor tented (heated if needed) ballroom!! We worked with Lauren throughout the entire process and she was always an email or phone call away. She got back to us always within 1-2 days and was always up to date with the newest state guidelines. She made sure to always make us aware of the updates the Castle was making to stay within these guidelines and move forward to a “new normal”. Our guests felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire event and could not stop raving about the staff, the grounds, the decor and the venue over all. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. This year has been completely unprecedented and Saint Clements Castle and staff has taken these new challenges with stride and has come up on top. Looking back on this crazy year even with our three date changes, we would not have changed a thing!! Thank you Lauren and thank you Saint Clements Castle!!!

We toured St. Clements back in 2019 and loved it so we booked the Prince Edward Ballroom & Sunken Garden for our 5/23/2020 wedding. That wedding didn't go through as planned BUT we were in communication with Lauren on a pretty regular basis throughout 2020 and ended up postponing twice before we ultimately deciding to cancel the wedding until we can have the full guest count - but I am writing this because I am so impressed and appreciative of Lauren's help throughout all this. Lauren is professional and attentive. It was immediately clear to me that Lauren cares about the couples she is working with. The pandemic has been hard on everyone but she checked in with us from time to time and never seemed frayed or annoyed, she was always caring, considerate, and has always been reachable and quick to respond despite the general uncertainty and that she may not have answers to my questions. Lauren kept us posted on new developments and always touched base within a reasonable time frame, before dates got too close. Lauren is always easy to talk to and extremely kind and understanding. I can't recommend St. Clements enough because of its obvious beauty, but also because of people like Lauren.

Our daughter was married at St. Clements Castle on June 9 2019. We couldn't have had a more beautiful venue (outside and inside) for her wedding. The stunning scenery outside made for lovely pictures (ceremony and cocktail hour were outside overlooking the Connecticut River) and the ballroom was just as gorgeous when we went in for dinner and dancing. The staff was extremely helpful before and during the wedding. Pam Marshall was our wedding coordinator. She was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The bridal suite was great for dressing and getting ready. The food was delicious and the wait-staff well trained and courteous. In choosing this venue we not only had a spectacular event but we, as the parents of the bride, had a completely stress-free evening. We highly recommend St. Clements Castle and Pam for a memorable fabulous wedding!

Everything was absolutely PERFECT! We got married on 7/5/19 overlooking the river with the reception in the Waterford Ballroom. We worked with Jake for all planning purposes leading up to the day-he was extremely professional, responsive, and assuring regarding any stresses or panics! He even promised to make an appearance day of the wedding and did! My husband and I had Lindsey and Lulu by our sides the day of who and they could not have been more AMAZING! They kept everything running smoothly, getting the wedding party cheese and crackers/drinks so we could actually eat before the ceremony, and assisting with bustling my dress. The best was they sent us home with a box of cake with a sweet message since we didn’t get to eat any the evening . Attention to detail and genuine concern from every staff member we encountered was clear and not unnoticed by the guests as well. From the ceremony and cocktail hour to the reception- the gardens, interior, and décor were absolutely beautiful. We have gotten so many compliments about this venue and guests continue to rave about the entrées and beverages they had. I DEFINITELY recommend this venue. Thank you again to all the amazing staff members for making our wedding day so incredible.

If you’re looking for a BEAUTIFUL venue that is gorgeous, unique, quaint, spacious, has lots of character, and comes with incredible food and drinks... if you’re looking for an event manager who is professional, personable, welcoming, knowledgeable, has great communication, and is on top of every single detail... if you’re looking for a friendly day of coordinator who is extremely detail- oriented, knowledgable, and friendly... LOOK NO FURTHER. My now husband (🥰) and I toured six venues but the second we stepped foot in Saint Clements and met Jake, we knew Saint Clements was the one for us. We got married on January 4, 2020 and envisioned an elegant, formal winter wedding and let me tell you, Saint Clements and the awesome people who work there went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make that dream come true. We got married in the Prince Edward Ballroom as I was walking down the aisle, I felt as though I was walking into a story book. Truly. Saint Clements has so much character (which is part of the reason we fell in love with it) and our wedding felt like no other. Jake was INCREDIBLE from day one. He quickly responded to each and every one of my many questions and made sure every single detail was accounted for. When we dropped off our bin during our final meeting, I didn’t have too much of a vision for how I wanted everything displayed but they sure made it look incredible like it had been planned our carefully for weeks. From day one, my husband and I felt so confident in the staff at Saint Clements and we just let them do their thing and I honestly wouldn’t change one single thing about it. Not one. The ONLY tiny thing I was nervous about was the fact that we couldn’t do a rehearsal on-site. I had never been to a wedding that didn’t do an on-site rehearsal and I was a little nervous about spacing/lining up during the ceremony, but I trusted them. Come ceremony time, you’d never even know we didn’t do an on-site rehearsal. Danielle, our day-of coordinator, made sure that everyone was exactly where they needed to be and everything was PERFECT. I’m so thankful to have worked with Danielle on our wedding day. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was always making sure I was good and didn’t need anything. She’s such a sweetheart. Also, the food and drinks were to die for. My husband and I only got to try the hors d’ouvres at the bridal show. We never got to attend a tasting to try the entree’s because of a big exam we had but we figured if the entrees were half as good as the hors d’ouvres then we were in good shape. Well let me tell you, we were not disappointed. Everyone loved the food and drinks. The bar tenders were SO friendly and were so on top of it. Just incredible. I could not be more thrilled with Saint Clements and I will recommend them time and time again. It helped that we toured the venue on a *beautiful* day, but the sales manager, Lauren, was extremely professional and knowledgeable - which really made a huge impact. Ultimately, they were booked on the date we were aiming for and moved forward elsewhere, but are very envious of all other couples that get to celebrate on such a beautiful property! If you're flexible on dates or looking further into the future - this a great place!

I got married in the Sunken Gardens last weekend, and let me tell you, this was the best night of my life.From the moment I spoke with Jake, until the end of my wedding, they handled everything so perfectly. Jake answered ALL of my questions with patience and accuracy. My bridal attendant Jeri was out of this world amazing. My guests even complimented how she went above and beyond for people, and I am very thankful she was there, even during the drunken haze some of us were in by the end of the night! lol. And Lindsey, my coordinator made sure everything went PERFECT. The bridal suite, ceremony, and reception were PERFECT. Now let's talk about the food... every single person complimented the food and said it was one of the best they have had a wedding. My husband and I also enjoyed ALL of the food, even though we didn't get to eat everything (too busy dancing). The hors devours were to die for! I wish we got to eat more of those, but again we were busy taking photos. The passed wine was delicious. The drinks were very good and pretty strong! The bartender (I forget his name) was so friendly and funny, everyone loved him. Not only did they handle last minute requests, they set up everything exactly how I asked for it to be!I 10000% recommend Saint Clements Castle for your wedding, or really any event. The place was set up so beautifully, from our sweetheart table, to the chairs, the china, the decor they put out, it was all so magical. I felt like an actual Princess.The one and ONLY complaint was that you can't take to go containers for your food. There was a lot and I mean A LOT of food left over that my guests would have been so happy to take home. And because my husband and I didn't get to enjoy our own wedding food as much as we would have liked, it would have been so nice to have a box of our favorites to eat that night at the hotel. I really hope either the staff and their families got to take the food, or they donate to a shelter or something. It was too much food and way too good to waste, especially being we paid for all of it.My wedding cake (I used their vendor) was so perfect and tasted SO good. Everyone raved about it.I wish I could relive this day/night over and over. I highly recomment this venue to anyone! Thank you all for such a magical day/night!

My husband and I had our ceremony in the Sunken Gardens in June of this year with the reception following in the Prince Edwards Ballroom, and I still can't get over how truly magical everything was. The grounds are incredible and provided so many options for us to get fantastic pictures. We can't say enough positive things about this venue -- it is truly breathtaking and unique. In fact, this was the ONLY venue that we toured and we instantly fell in love (it was literally love at first sight once we saw the Donegal Tavern). Since, all of our guests were from out of town and had never been to the venue before, my husband and I were a bit nervous that they wouldn't find it as spectacular as we did -- and boy were we wrong! All of our friends and family raved about the venue and food for months and we have received so many compliments. We also need to give a shout out to Lindsey, who was our day of coordinator, was absolutely fantastic and made sure everything ran smoothly (and made sure i didn't trip in my dress going down the stairs!). And our attendant Amanda was the best -- she always made sure that we had drinks in our hand! We are seriously so grateful that Saint Clements ensured that we had a fabulous wedding day and are so thankful for everything!

Saint Clement's Castle coordinates a beautiful, well-ran wedding! We got married on the Waterford side overlooking the Connecticut River in October. Lindsey Cassarino was our event manager the day of and she is an angel from above! She was super helpful and personable to not only my husband and I, but to my large wedding party. She made sure we ate our dinner, which we appreciate! Pam Marshall was the first we met when booking Saint Clement's and she was super helpful along the way. She was married at the venue as well! Hannah was our attendant all night and she definitely took great care of us!The staff was wonderful and we had a perfect day because of them.

This venue has everything you could want - gorgeous views of the Connecticut River, pristine landscaping, and a historical building with real character, not to mention the beautiful courtyard. The ballroom has beautiful chandeliers and large windows. Our wedding coordinator, Jake, helped us plan every little detail of our wedding day and he was patient with us and gave prompt responses to our numerous emails as we were planning from California. He also coordinated with the chefs to prepare a special hors d’oeuvre just for us! The staff at Saint Clements is incredibly professional, we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our big day — the were on it! One of the waitresses was so attentive that she noticed the lights not on on one of the centerpieces and fixed it. We’d like to give a special shoutout to our attendant, Amanda, who never let us reach the bottom of our glasses and couldn’t have been sweeter. It’s well worth the price, trust us!

We had our wedding at Saint Clements in September 2019. It was truly the best day of our lives! The planning was easy and enjoyable--Saint Clements delivered on a seamless day and was flawless. Our food was incredible--the guests were raving about the cocktail hour options and the fabulous dinner entrees. The beauty of the grounds and venue speak for itself--we were on the Waterford side and couldn't have hoped for a more beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and cocktail our. The staff was all fantastic--from sales team to day of coordinator the team covered all bases and left no stone unturned. The day was so perfect and enjoyable--we LOVE saint clements!!

The day was absolute perfection. The riverfront ceremony was beautiful, the cocktail hour was enjoyed by all. Both the passed appetizers and the stations were always plentiful and delicious with ample servers meeting all of our guests needs. The bartenders were a hit as everyone enjoyed the quality liquor. The Waterford Ballroom was gorgeous, impeccably decorated. The food was fabulous, served hot and quickly to all tables. The attentiveness of the staff was unparalleled, our guests were truly blown away. Thank you Saint Clements Castle for giving the bride , groom and guests a truly unforgettable wedding day!

My husband and I had our reception here (ceremony was at a church) and it was absolutely amazing. From our first visit here to look at venues, until the actual day, the staff was the best. They set up everything except for centerpieces, the food was excellent, drinks flowing, and we have received nothing but compliments from all of our guests. Everyone said the venue was gorgeous, the food was perfect, the staff professional and courteous, and they had a great time. To the staff at Saint Clements: thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day incredible. We really appreciate you handling every curveball we (and our families) threw at you. Best day ever!

My husband and I chose this venue for multiple reasons:1) we met Jacob, who was our coordinator up until the day of the day if the wedding and he was so knowledgeable and fantastic as communicating with us from the very beginning. Any question I had, Jacob was on it, he was absolutely fantastic to work with.2) the venue.... you drive onto the property and are wowed from the moment you pull in. Having gotten married in the sunken garden and used the Prince Edward ballroom for our reception it was absolutely beautiful and picturesque from beginning to end. 3) Lindsey, our day of coordinator, was fantastic. From having champagne and cheese and crackers available in the bridal suite, to (more) champagne and hor duerves ready and waiting for us after the ceremony, she made sure we were well fed (and well buzzed) the entire evening. I didn't worry about a thing because I knew she was on it. 4) The staff was incredible, from bridal attendants and chefs to the bartenders Gus and Makenzie, they made all the guests laugh and have fun, it was truly wonderful!My guests are STILL talking about ho amazing the food was, I kept dragging my new husband on the dance floor so we didn't get to enjoy as much as we would have liked, but from what I heard, everything was fantastic. We chose to do buffet style and all the food was hot, fresh and delicious.An enormous thank you to the Saint Clements team, it was a magical day and we couldn't have asked for anything more. thank you so much!

We cannot recommend Saint Clements Castle enough! From the moment we walked onto the grounds, we knew we were getting married at Saint Clements. It is a stunning location and they do an amazing job of keeping the lawn, the gardens, and the castle in pristine condition.The team at Saint Clements is also wonderful. From the very beginning, we worked with Jacob who is not only a fabulous planner but such an easy going person. He really listened to what we wanted and made us feel important. He also responded to just about all of my emails within 5 minutes of receipt. I remember once emailing him about napkin colors and he instantaneously responded with pictures and ideas. On our wedding night, Caitlyn took great care of us and all our guests. She ensured that everything ran exactly on time down to the minute. Our guests were thrilled with their meals and the professionalism of the night. We even went out on a limb and ordered the unconventional chilled strawberry soup for dinner and everyone was raving about it. The night could not have been more perfect and we are so happy with our experience. We will continue to recommend Saint Clements to everyone we know!!

We had an amazing wedding experience at St Clements. I am so greatful for the staff who made our day perfect. The wedding coordinator (Lauren) was responsive and made me feel prepared and supported the entire time I was planning. The staff was present and helpful on the day - without being intrusive, they kept my husband and I well-fed ( +drinks! ), included in last minute decision making, and on-schedule. I also felt that the staff read me as a bride and responded accordingly - they knew what I personally needed that day, or, at the very least, they cared. The bartenders learned right away what I (and other guests!) liked to drink and made our night so much fun. There was never a line at the bar (despite that we were using it heavily..) EXCEPT for cocktail hour - it might be beneficial to hire an extra bartender or expand the space just for right after the ceremony. But keeping a bottle of my mother in law’s favorite wine hidden so she could still have some after it ran out made up for that in my eyes. At the end of the night, when my bridal party and I ran out to catch our ride, the staff stayed late to help our parents gather all of our bridal suite items - we were supposed to be out on time and when we weren’t, the staff continued to be kind and supportive (my aunt commented that they really enjoyed their time talking to the staff after the wedding and that they were overwhelming helpful). The staff packed up all of our wedding decorations for us. I would highly recommend this venue. St Clements staff are knowledgeable and know how to create a dream wedding experience. A few notes: The venue includes a lot (cake, open bar, large outdoor space, nice indoor space, plentiful staff, bridal suite) and charges per person instead of a large fee just to rent plus per person, which I preferred. I felt they were straightforward about prices and it was easy to determine prices, something I didn’t always find at other venues. Be careful about the add-ons because they are as nice as they seem! The food was excellent and I got great feedback from guests. The rules that they have are those you would find at any big venue (no fog machine, no moving the antiques, pay extra to get into bridal suite early, and so on) and do feel a little impersonal, so you have to be okay with these ahead of time. Not a lot of closeby hotels and no transportation included. The coordinator is straightforward and there were no surprises. Thank you St Clements!

Everything was absolutely PERFECT! We got married in June overlooking the river with the reception in the Waterford Ballroom. We worked with Jake for all planning purposes leading up- he was extremely professional, responsive, and assuring regarding any stresses or panics! Day of we had Lindsey and Lulu by our sides, who could not have been more AMAZING! They kept everything running smoothly, making sure family/party was organized for pictures, getting me cheese and crackers so I could actually eat before the ceremony, and bustling my dress when it had come undone while dancing. They sent us home with a box of cake with a sweet message since we didn’t get to eat any during. Attention to detail and genuine concern from every staff member we encountered was clear and not unnoticed by the guests as well. From the ceremony and cocktail hour to the reception- the gardens, interior, and décor were absolutely beautiful. We have gotten so many compliments about this venue and guests continue to rave about the entrées and beverages they had. I DEFINITELY recommend this venue. Thank you again to all the amazing staff members for making our wedding day so incredible.

Booking Saint Clements for our wedding on 6.21.19 was one of the best wedding decisions we made. The team at the castle is phenomenal and truly helped make all our visions become reality. Throughout the planning process, Lauren was so easy to communicate with and so patient with all of my questions. The day of our wedding we had a day of coordinator and a bridal attendant who were available for absolutely anything we could have needed. The moment we arrived to the venue we were met with a plate of hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Many people say you are so busy the day of the wedding, that you don’t have time to eat, but with this team that was not an option! Danielle and Brenna helped to make sure despite of all wedding events occurring, that my husband and i were able to step away for sunset photos. They adjusted our timeline on the spot so that we could get the last minute photos we wanted. The team at the castle did a BEAUTIFUL job setting up for the wedding. The day before, i had dropped off three boxes full of wedding items and they were able to interpret my notes and create the exact look i was going for. Our wedding was the Pinterest, picture perfect wedding I wanted thanks to the team at the castles precision and attention to detail. After the wedding they packed everything up and loaded it into my parents car, so we did not have to worry about a thing! They also left us with a very sweet sentiment. In addition to wrapping our wedding cake up for us to freeze and save- they put two pieces in a box for my husband and me to enjoy later that night. They wrote a sweet message on the box and it was apparent that the team truly wanted to make our wedding perfect. They weren’t just doing their job - they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best wedding ever. And we did, have the best wedding ever.

What a venue Saint Clements Castle is!! It is absolutely stunning and everyone there is extremely dedicated and helpful. It was the most amazing day of my life and the staff was awesome!! My husband and I got booked the venue January 2018 and had our wedding 06/29/19. We booked the Prince Edward Ballroom side of the castle and got married in the gardens. I can't say enough positive things about this venue. The food, atmosphere, to the staff, it was one flawless day! My guests to this day continue to express to me how great the venue was. Our sales rep was Lauren Barone and let me tell you, she is the most amazing person I have ever met. She is organized, responded to all my emails in a timely fashion and if I had any doubts she would let me call her and express how I was feeling. Also, she made sure to send me reminders of what was due such as payments, seating chart, food lists, etc.. If you ever consider booking this venue have Lauren as your sales rep!! She is such an amazing person and she will take care of you. Also, on the day of the wedding you get an on-site event coordinator. I was fortunate enough to have Lindsey as mine and she did a fantastic job. On the final meeting before the wedding I had pictures of how I wanted everything set up and she made sure to follow them exactly how I wanted them. Lindsey and the staff were awesome and I couldn't be more thankful.

We recently had our wedding at Saint Clements in July 2019. I would 110% recommend Saint Clements Castle for a wedding venue. The grounds were beautiful! We had our ceremony overlooking the water at 5:30pm. Despite being a hot day, there was great shade for the ceremony. Our reception was in the Waterford Ballroom which was perfect!Lauren and Lindsay went above and beyond. Lauren was very communicative throughout the entire planning process. The day of the wedding, Lindsay wa AMAZING! She was so positive and helpful!Thank you for such a great day!

Two of my daughters were married at Saint Clements in the last 3 years. We used both ballrooms and each wedding was truly spectacular and special. The staff is fabulous and Pam is so professional and reliable-she takes all of the stress away and allows everyone to relax and enjoy this very special time! After pricing many venues-no one offered anything close to what Saint Clements does! The food is delicious and the grounds are unparalleled.

Beautiful venue! We got married in the sunken Italian gardens in May and had our reception in the Prince Edwards Ballroom. Everything was perfect. The staff was so accommodating. Danielle set up all of the decorations I made and improvised as needed. After we dropped everything off at our final meeting, we did not even need to think about the little details. Emily was our server for the night and made sure we were taken care of. I could not have asked for a more smoothly run wedding. Thank you for all that you did!

As a photographer, working with great venues is always a plus, but working with a GREAT venue makes my job that much better. I recently photographed a wedding at Saint Clements on 5/25/19 and I have nothing but great things to say. The venue is stunning, and the staff was beyond amazing. From the front desk to the serving staff, all fantastic people! The coordinator Katelyn McKinnon was a joy to work with. She was informative and always around. The bride and groom, as well as other staff and vendors could rely on her for any and everything, most of which she was 2 steps ahead of us on anyway! Another special person to have around that day was Lulu. She attended the bride and grooms every need without hesitation or delay. I can honestly not say enough good things about working with this venue. If you are looking for a beautiful spot with an amazing staff for your big day, don't hesitate to check this place out!
