Our September 9th wedding at Saint John's Resort was incredible. Everyone that we communicated with at the Resort and Hotel were extremely helpful.Our Sales Manager, Jessica, was so kind and helpful with all of our questions throughout the entire process. Our ceremony was held in the new Garden Pavilion site on property. It was beautiful. We loved having everything at one location and our guests appreciated only having a short walk to our reception space. The Garden Pavilion Coordinators, Kathy and Katie, helped plan our ceremony timeline effortlessly and everything ran smoothly because of them.The newly renovated Mosaic Ballroom was the perfect size for our guests. We loved the layout of the room and we were able to set up early in the morning. The wait staff and bartenders were professional, efficient and helpful. The food is still being complimented and everyone loved the late night snack after all of the drinks and dancing!The grounds and garden spaces were beautiful. They elevated our wedding photos.There is so much to be said about this beautiful location, we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out :)

Our September 9th wedding at Saint John's Resort was incredible. We are so happy that we chose St. John’s Resort for our wedding reception. We rented the Mosaic Ballroom and loved the space. The tall ceilings, new wallpaper, new carpet, new chandeliers, and new drapery are absolutely stunning. The room was laid out perfectly for our 100-person guest list and we had plenty of space for our photo booth, card table, guest book table, DJ, live painter, desserts, and late-night snacks. The banquet staff day of was phenomenal. Michael B took fantastic care of our bridal party and families and Christian took great care of our guests at the bar! All of the staff went the extra mile to make our experience way above expectations. We got amazing pictures in the Waterfall Garden, the hallway to our ballroom, and the golden elevator - and so did our guests. We loved being able to retreat upstairs to the hotel at the end of the night. That also made end-of-night cleanup an absolute breeze because our decor was able to be brought right up to our room during and after our reception.

The communication with this vendor is terrible. They do not return phone calls or emails. They act as if they are doing you a favor and you will be lucky if they choose you to be at this venue. Read the reviews on the internet. They all say the same thing regarding the communication. I was going to book my daughter's wedding there. Sales person failed to return my calls and increased the proposed contract by 30 people. When I was there the concierge was paying his personal bills on the phone as we were sitting there. Very unprofessional.

We recently had our wedding at Saint John's Resort & have nothing but great things to say about our experience! We live out-of-state so a majority of the planning happened virtually. Everyone was very accommodating throughout the whole process - responding to many emails/phone calls and even giving us a virtual tour of the venue. Linda was our coordinator and we can’t say enough about how helpful she was throughout the whole process, taking a lot of time to help us figure out both the large & small details. We also worked with Janette, Stacey & Kathy for the ceremony planning and they were wonderful. We always had a clear idea of what needed to be done & they were very prompt with responding to our questions. The venue itself is beautiful, and having the ceremony, reception & hotel in one location made the day-of logistics so much easier! We also had a brunch the next day at St John's Resort which was a huge hit with our guests.

Such a fabulous venue and staff handled my daughter's wedding on March 18, 2023. Linda and her team handled all the details in a professional manner. The history and beauty of the venue as well as the cleanliness and service were all first class. We had her wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the resort as well as utilized hotel rooms for our guests. The bridal party was able to utilize the spacious suite to get ready which added to the fun. The grand ballroom is comfortable for almost any size wedding and the dance floor was spacious for all of our guests to enjoy. The appetizers, meals and desserts were all wonderful and well prepared .

My husband & I are so glad we found Saint John’s Resort when searching for wedding venues. We loved having our ceremony in the Provincial Ballroom with its new updates, and the Atrium was the most beautiful backdrop for our reception. We really enjoyed that we could host all of our wedding events in one place, from the rehearsal dinner to the send-off breakfast. It was so convenient to have our guests stay on-site. Christine, the Catering Director, was so helpful throughout the planning process. She was super flexible and thorough while we navigated several changes to our original wedding day plan. Our wedding was truly everything & more we could have hoped for. We are so grateful!

Truly the most perfect wedding venue! I promise you, if you decide to have your wedding at St. John's you will not regret it. There are so many amazing things about having your wedding at St. Johns, the best for me though, is the people! Linda and her staff are truly amazing. Everything was PERFECT the day of - not a single issue. I am so grateful for Linda !The venue is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL - so many amazing places for photographs. Absolutely incredible venue. Having everything on-site is a highly underrated amenity. The staff and service is second to none. Everything was top-notch and beautiful. Christine, the sales manager, is available always and remembers you from the moment you meet her, and even recognizes you amongst a hundred couples at the food tasting. Our reception leader, Jen, was amazing and found us Red Bulls when our energy was fading, and our table Captain, Emerald went above and beyond in every way to check in with us and meet our needs. Kevin, one of our bartenders, made sure to demonstrate his enthusiasm for the new year and was a highlight of the evening for all of our guests. If we were to get married again, we would choose St. John's every time.

Saint John's Resort is the most magical place to get married in December. The holiday decorations were absolutely gorgeous and made for some great pictures. Our wedding day was smooth and any minor problems that came up were taken care of quickly by the staff. The convenience of having the chapel, reception room, and hotel all in the same building was priceless for both my husband and I, and the wedding guests. Christine was consistent and super helpful throughout the entire process from touring the venue, all the way to the wedding day.

I searched for a perfect venue to host an \"over-the-top\" surprise 40th Anniversary Party for my greatly deserving wife and 75 of our closest family and friends. That search ended the day I met with Linda Johnson, Executive Special Events Manager at Saint John's Resort, toured the property, and \"landed\" in the Atrium. Working with Linda was an absolute joy from our first meeting three months ago through our last guest leaving the night of the event. She's highly experienced, a great listener who genuinely worked with me on every detail (and I had many), and she was a ready resource to connect me with the additional vendors and services needed to pull everything off, including Saint John's audio/visual provider, Encore. The resort is a first-class venue that was warm and welcoming to our guests and provided outstanding customer service. I also want to personally acknowledge Dave Drouillard of Encore who was a blast to work with as he understood exactly what I wanted to do and delivered it. Saint John's has extensive food and beverage offerings and service options where I felt comfortable building a menu of exactly what I wanted... from unique and delicious appetizer options that my guests raved about, imaginative chef-attended food stations, and top shelf wine and liquor options.Linda was there to greet my guests and then my wife when I brought her into the resort for her surprise (she thought we were going out to a quiet dinner downtown) ... and it was such a joy to have everything perfectly as planned. The Atrium was decorated absolutely to perfection.Finally, I utilized the hotel as well for some out-of-town guests, and they were highly complementary of the accommodations.I'm already committing to return for our 50th! Thank you, Saint John's. You have a superstar in Linda.

We can not say enough good things about Saint John’s for our wedding! Everything went perfectly and it was so convenient having everything there. Christine was a dream to work with and Michael, our waiter at the reception, was so accommodating. Everyone raved about the food, and we are so glad we ended up doing a late night snack. I could not recommend this venue enough for future brides. Our Friday night wedding in the Grand ballroom will always be so memorable.

This venue is beautiful. The food is delicious and everything went well on the day of my wedding. However, it was difficult sometimes to plan my wedding. My assigned wedding coordinator would sometimes take weeks if not months to get back to me, my mother, and my mother-in-law. My wedding, reception, and rehearsal dinner were all at St. John's. This meant that we sometimes had questions about table sizes, room sizes, prices, etc. However, sometimes we had to wait a long time to get a response. When I toured the venue, I received a folder that had preferred vendors and quotes for the rooms and meals. However, I was never told any of the things that could be rented from the venue like chargers, table numbers, etc. When I toured, I asked about this and was told that none of it came with the venue. No one mentioned that I could rent anything from the venue. Therefore, I bought the chargers, chair sashes, etc. It would have been nice to know upfront that I could've rented these things. If I had known that, I would have done so. However, I was not told about this option until 3 months before the wedding. This venue should include everything that can be rented in their welcome folder. I bought beautiful chargers for the wedding table. However, the servers took my chargers from the table after the salad. I had never seen this done before at another wedding. The chargers should have remained at the seat for the dinner. I was angry about this because it felt like my money was wasted on nice chargers that just held a salad and nothing else. I also wish the venue had asked me what I would like done with any extra cake. I didn't think of this prior to the wedding, and I ended up not getting any of the extra cake after the wedding. I opted for a nicer suite than what they offer for free for having your wedding there- the Ambassador suites. This is a suite that I'm assuming many bridal parties use to get ready. However, the suites are poorly lit. They have a make-up room with no natural light. The bulbs were a yellow tint. My make-up artists were in agreement that it didn't make any sense. We ended up doing make-up in the dining area of the suite and hair in the dimly lit make-up room. This room was a good size, but it served no purpose if you couldn't do your make-up in it. For the rehearsal dinner, I had to do my make-up with my phone because the lighting was so horrible in that room. The room also did not have a full-length mirror. I had to ask for one to be brought up to me, so I could see myself on the day of my wedding. Thankfully, they were able to get me one. For a resort that specializes in weddings, these details matter.Overall, the place is beautiful and the wedding went well. However, these little details matter, and it made me think the venue was pretty good rather than fantastic or excellent.

Our day was FLAWLESS all thanks to St John's!! We booked them a year and a half before our actual wedding date and the planning was so amazing and I had nothing to worry about. Linda Johnson who was my coordinator for the reception, made sure that I was just giving her my choices and opinions for the reception and she took care of the rest! Kathy who was in charge of the ceremony and rehearsal made sure everything went smoothly with our large bridal party and Stacey Mason who is in charge of music helped work with me for each song of the ceremony. I have absolutely ONLY positive things to say about St. John’s. I honestly could not even TRY to say something negative. We postponed 3 times over the course of 2 years to keep our wedding dreams the same because we knew the level of service to expect with St. John’s. With as difficult as wedding planning can be St. John’s is a one stop shop for most things reception related. It took a lot of the guess work out of that part of the planning process. Christine was our coordinator that stuck with us through the years and we couldn’t be happier. They are incredibly organized and ahead of schedule planning everything out, as someone that has trouble letting go of that control they made it so easy to navigate and truly cared. We had booked our rehearsal, reception and brunch with St. John’s and it made it so incredibly easy for out of town guests to park their car and not have to leave/navigate the area for the entire weekend. Every guest had nothing but positive things to say about being taken care of in every aspect of our entire event weekend. I have absolutely ONLY positive things to say about St. John’s. I honestly could not even TRY to say something negative. We postponed 3 times over the course of 2 years to keep our wedding dreams the same because we knew the level of service to expect with St. John’s. With as difficult as wedding planning can be St. John’s is a one stop shop for most things reception related. It took a lot of the guess work out of that part of the planning process. Christine was our coordinator that stuck with us through the years and we couldn’t be happier. They are incredibly organized and ahead of schedule planning everything out, as someone that has trouble letting go of that control they made it so easy to navigate and truly cared. We had booked our rehearsal, reception and brunch with St. John’s and it made it so incredibly easy for out of town guests to park their car and not have to leave/navigate the area for the entire weekend. Every guest had nothing but positive things to say about being taken care of in every aspect of our entire event weekend. We also felt extremely taken care of as the bride/groom in ways we had not even thought of. I truly and honestly cannot say enough good things about this venue and their coordination. I cannot recommend The Inn at St. John’s more for a venue to get married at. Every single thing was perfect! Leading up to the wedding everyone we spoke to was extremely buttoned up and they were able to answer any and all questions we had. Their food tasting event was one of our favorite things we did leading up to the wedding. We were able to meet and sit with other couples who were in the midst of wedding planning at the same venue and that was so fun. Everyone who worked at the chapel was extremely friendly and helpful. Our ceremony ran extremely smoothly and they offered so much helpful advice at the rehearsal dinner The day of, everything went smoothly as well. The staff took such good care of not only me and my husband but our entire wedding family and all our guests. Michael made sure the entire wedding party had drinks in hand and everyone was constantly asking if we needed anything. I cannot speak to their attentiveness more! Towards the end of the reception the staff packed up and loaded all of our items onto luggage racks and took them up to our room. It was so nice not to have to worry about this at the end of the night. We were even left extra meals and an entire pizza in our room! The attention to detail at The Inn at St. John’s is handsdown the best! Not only was the staff attentive, this is one of the most beautiful venues in metro Detroit. Every angle of this venue/hotel has great backgrounds for pictures. The landscape/grounds are beautifully manicured. 10/10 would recommend! I would absolutely book The Inn at St. Johns if I ever needed a large event again. Every single person here is so amazing!

The ladies are awesome before the ceremony, they fluff the dress and handle everything so the photographer can focus on capturing the moments. The manager in charge during the reception space was so helpful, asking if we, the wedding vendors, needed anything and assisted promptly whenever asked a question. They are great at transitioning guests from ceremony, to cocktail hour to reception making it for a great experience! The Inn at St. Johns was an amazing wedding venue one reason being it was a one-stop-shop! We got married in the beautiful chapel, had our reception in the atrium, and we also had a send off brunch the morning after! The atrium was beautiful, all my dream came true when I saw the room, it was so nice to be able to spread out a little with the Samuel Room, and the Grotto for the cocktail hour. The service we received when planning our ceremony and reception were amazing and had support through it all. Stacy was a beautiful vocalist and violinist, she took our ceremony to the next level. The service we received during the reception was exceptional and received many compliments. Michael was the server for the head table, and parent tables, he was so attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, packed up food for us at the end of the night and made sure they were in our room, he was awesome. One area we did have a few hiccups with were the hotel, it was difficult to secure early check in ahead of time for our guests who were in the wedding, we brought hotel bags for our guests and not everyone received one, and lastly I was told I would get ready in the presidential suite or the ambassador room and when I checked in I was very disappointed to learn I would not be. As a bride if you are looking at the Inn at St. Johns and your dream is to get ready in the The Presidential Suite or the Ambassador room I would double and triple check your reservation status on your own even if your coordinator says they have it all taken care of. The reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was just the disappointment in the hotel room. If that would have gone off like it was promised we would have given it 5 stars, and the best ever.

When looking at venues, we wanted to find a location that was a one-stop-shop for all of our needs. I am originally from Massachusetts so 50% of the guests were traveling from out of state to our wedding. At the Inn having the chapel, reception space, and hotel all connected was unbeatable (and only 20 minutes from the airport!). When we visited the space and met with Christine to review catering options and Catholic mass requirements, the entire process was laid out in easy to follow bullet points. Walking out of our site visit with the Inn at Saint John's knowing a rough estimate of how much our wedding would cost, all of our meal options/special ad-on services, and all the guidance to complete our marriage prep through the Catholic Church - we knew this was our venue. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Not once was I bothered with questions or last minute details because the Inn had it covered. The staff was exceptional for our wedding ceremony and made us feel completely at ease. The grounds were the perfect back drop for our bridal party photos and they even offered our bridal party it’s own, separate cocktail hour. This was essential time for us to decompress and relax before the reception and hydrate/enjoy all the hors d'oeuvres! Our reception was INCREDIBLE. The staff was so attentive, friendly, and there was never a line at the bar. The food was delicious and served promptly. Our DJ (The Block Party) was very familiar with the Inn and we had the best party ever. The next morning we had a Send-Off Breakfast that was delicious!! I would 100% recommend the Inn at Saint John's - they will make your wedding day everything you dreamed it to be! Our friends and family rave that it was one of the best weddings they have been to!

I have never in my life left a negative review but I feel like at this point it needs to be done. My fiancé and I had no problems with the service we received for quite some time, Linda was attentive in calling us back and working out a date and space that would be best for our party. We went on a tour and left feeling very confident about our decision to have our reception here. We finalized the room and date and were told our date was secure and that we would be able to sign a contract as soon as their lawyer had put together a new one. It has been months and there is still no contract, and it has now been a full month since we have heard back, dispite multiple attempts to call and email for an update. I even asked if there was some other way to move forward in the meantime and was quite frankly ignored. After my experience I took the time to read through some other reviews and noticed that I am not the first one to experience this issue. And in 2017 they accepted responsibility for not responding and promised to work on their communications. I have never in my life left a negative review but I feel like at this point it needs to be done. My fiancé and I had no problems with the service we received for quite some time, Linda was attentive in calling us back and working out a date and space that would be best for our party. We went on a tour and left feeling very confident about our decision to have our reception here. We finalized the room and date and were told our date was secure and that we would be able to sign a contract as soon as their lawyer had put together a new one. It has been months and there is still no contract, and it has now been a full month since we have heard back, dispite multiple attempts to call and email for an update. I even asked if there was some other way to move forward in the meantime and was quite frankly ignored. After my experience I took the time to read through some other reviews and noticed that I am not the first one to experience this issue. And in 2017 they accepted responsibility for not responding and promised to work on their communications. Either this is not an actual priority or they are picking and choosing who to respond to.... either way it's deplorable and no way to run a business.

My fiancé and I booked the Inn at St. John’s for our wedding in September of 2020 — we worked with Linda from the very beginning and she is a true gem! She’s professional, kind, helpful, accommodating — she was absolutely amazing to work with! Due to COVID we dealt with a lot of set backs and changes and Linda was the best! I felt like I called her every day LOL and she always got back to me — she would always communicate any and all changes and we were so lucky to work with her during such uncertain times! She is a true asset to there team! I highly recommend working with Linda and the entire team at The inn at St. John’s — they are true professionals!!

The Inn At St. John's certainly did not disappoint on our wedding day! My wife and I had our reception at The Inn at St. John's on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in the Atrium. What a beutiful venue it is, and the staff did an absolutely wonderful job. Huge thank you to Wanda who was a bar tender in the room directly behind the DJ booth and was mentioned to us on multiple occassions by many guests as being very friendly and accommodating!The Inn at St. John's did everything they could to take care of us leading up to, during and after our reception. Christine Sullivan was our wedding coordinator and did an excellent job communicating with us, making sure everything was setup and to our expectations and making sure that all vendors on the day of were able to get in and do what they needed to do. She is a great assett to the Inn at St. John's team in my opinion and did a wonderful job of making sure my wife and I were at ease and with as little stress as possible. At one point, we were behind our schedule for our own reception, what I am sure is something everyone experiences, but Christine was there to make sure we knew that it was about what we wanted and things certainly could not start without us, so stop stressing about a few minutes! If you are given an option or have the ability to request a coordinator, we would highly recommend Christine. She stepped in at a time when our original coordinator had left and got everything back on track where we had left off and ensured we had an amazing event!High-lights to point out from our stay... accommodations and room blocks were easy to setup and easy for our out of town guests to book. My wife was able to add an additional night in the suite for the night before and I was easily able to get a room in our block as well. Check in and check out were quick and painless for everyone with the staff doing everything they could to ensure everyone was happy with their rooms. Rates were very good and not overly expensive. Rooms were of a decent size and very clean. Overall satisfaction with the accommodations would be very high. I used the pool and hot tub on the morning of our wedding and can say this area also is well maintained and clean. It is a nice pool, and my children and I found it to be a great way to start our day relaxing before the stress of a wedding.All of our vendors said the process to setup and communicate with venue staff was amazing as well. This is a huge testament to the Inn at St. John's staff. The staff at The Inn at St. John's staff not only took care of everyone before the event, but ensured that everyone received excellent service throughout the reception, including our vendors all receiving meals that were upgraded from what was ordered, us having cake and meals in our room at the end of the night, and a staff that ensured that everyone was well taken care of for the entire evening. All in all, I would say we had a great experience with everything involved with our wedding and reception in regards to The Inn at St. John's. If you are in the market for a venue, I encourage you to at least tour the venue and see what they have to offer. The food was incredible, we decided on the Salmon and Cast Iron Seared Filet for entrees. The appetizers were fantastic as well. The food was not just good for wedding food, but was just flat out good. Give Christine a call, setup a time to go check the venue out and see what they can do for you.... you will not regret the decision!

Absolutely stunning! We had our reception in the Atrium and it was perfect. Linda was so helpful during the whole process. Everything exceeded our expectations! The Atrium is so beautiful on its' own, all we added were some candles, simple greenery and the bistro lights, and the place glowed. Staff was very attentive and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the curried chicken salad, grilled cheese and tomato bisque shooters, and beef tenderloin encroute for hor d'oeuvres, and the Chicken Marsala and Mediterranean Grouper for entrees (both were flavorful and tender!). Guests were also very happy with the vegetarian entree, which was the Red Pepper Eggplant Tian. It can get pretty expensive, but luckily we were able to get a good deal having a Sunday, Winter Wedding. Truly an unforgettable evening!

The Inn at St. John's was absolutely amazing! From day one, the staff was there anytime I needed them. They helped in the planning of every detail needed to make our night beyond perfect. Manda was quick to respond to every email, or call when this bride needed her. They do so many weddings a year, but I still felt as they really got to know us and made us their highest priority! Highly recommend the atrium room! So beautifully decorated for the Holiday season our guests had compliments on everything and all I kept telling everyone was to look up at the glow of the ceiling! The people who work here are so attentive. They offered to take our dinner and save it for us under a warmer and deliver it to our room after the night was over because we never sat down! We worked with Manda Lawson who was there with us every step of the way. I cannot recommend her more! She made everything so easy! I found this venue with my daughter, for her 11.02.2019 wedding this past weekend. We met with Manda well over a year ago and she took care of us along the entire journey. We live in the area, so it was not a destination wedding for us, but we had many out of town guests. Fortunately, the guest rooms at The Inn were beautiful and plentiful and accommodated many of our guests.It was a weekend affair! Friday was the rehearsal in the amazingly beautiful European style Catholic chapel, followed by a great and delicious rehearsal dinner at 5ive Steakhouse. After that, we spilled out onto the main floor of 5ive to mingle with our other guests who had joined us for the welcome reception. Saturday, the couple was married in the chapel, followed by more partying at 5ive and then into the unbelievably gorgeous Atrium for cocktail hour and the reception. Absolutely stunning and perfect!Sunday, all of the guests who were still in town joined us for a send-off buffet breakfast. Again, absolutely beautiful, organized, well-run and perfect.So those are the details. This property is an amazing hidden gem. It has everything a couple might need for their wedding day/weekend. We had so many compliments from everyone, in and out of town!But it had to be more than the property itself to prompt me to leave this review. That’s where this highly trained staff enters the picture. They turned this beautiful, picturesque property into the fairytale wedding of my daughter’s and her husband’s dreams! Manda (sales manager) helped me take my and my daughter’s vision and turn it into reality. Manda worked tirelessly, patiently and thoroughly with me and everyone at St. John’s. Some of the other outstanding people we worked with were Kathy (chapel), Emily (The Inn), Lindsay (bookkeeping and someone to reach out to when Manda had a day off), Mistie (5ive), the banquet captains, servers, Connor (breakfast) and on and on. There were so many people who did their jobs flawlessly. I’m sorry I can’t name them all and give them all the individual credit they deserve, because without exception, they are a well-trained staff who do their jobs quietly and professionally. They are truly a service- and customer- oriented crew.I strongly recommend this venue, to anybody wishing for the royal treatment!

Loved everything about the Inn, it’s an absolutely stunning venue. I wasn’t aware at the time but I found out from my guest that they closed the bar earlier than we had paid for, which is a bummer. I also found out from another guest (that sells wine) that they witnessed one of the waitstaff pouring sparkling juice rather than an actual champagne for the toast, also a bummer. With that being said everything else was spectacular, beautiful beautiful venue for a wedding!! Food is amazing, most of the staff was also amazing. I would definitely recommend

I also found out from another guest (that sells wine) that they witnessed one of the waitstaff pouring sparkling juice rather than an actual champagne for the toast, also a bummer. With that being said everything else was spectacular, beautiful beautiful venue for a wedding!! Food is amazing, most of the staff was also amazing. I would definitely recommend

I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator. Our presidential suite was unbelievably gorgeous, the atrium is the prettiest venue I've ever been in, and we received endless compliments about the quality of food and service during our reception. The entire staff during our reception was amazing, but the bartender Michael went above and beyond helping my family bring up center pieces, pictures, etc from our reception. We were so lucky to have our wedding ceremony at St. John Chapel and our reception in the Grande Ballroom. There is so much to say about our incredible experience with all the ISJ staff leading up to the wedding day as well as day of. We started realizing early on that these professionals were truly next-level individuals who were incredibly knowledgeable, organized, helpful and committed to facilitating the best day possible for us! We couldn't have been in better hands. Linda Johnson, our right hand lady, was a joy to work with; she 'got us' right away and really took our vision of our reception and helped us make it a wonderful experience for our guests. We really enjoyed our detail oriented meetings with Linda because she made us feel so comfortable knowing she had every single thing from how the napkins were to be folded to the reception timeline thought through and under control. On the chapel side of things, Janette was wonderful in helping us to request a special dispensation for a Sunday wedding from the Detroit Archdiocese, line up our outside priest and manage the paperwork going between two diocese and the chapel. Kathy was incredibly helpful in planning the ceremony and making sure every detail was accounted for. Kathy was also incredibly quick at responding to emails and phone calls. Stacey the music director was wonderful at helping us hire a string quartet and navigate our special musical requests with grace. Emily with the hotel block was also wonderful to work with. She was great at updating us on how our room block was doing, given that 80% of our guests were traveling for the wedding. Emily helped us enlarge our block and then begin a waiting list when the night before the wedding the hotel sold out, as rooms started opening up, there was an email from Emily! Ultimately every guest that wanted to stay at the hotel had a room.Day of was incredible. The presidential suite was perfectly equipped to handle breakfast, hair and make-up for 10 ladies and served as a beautiful backdrop for photos. Although it was raining, there were still many beautiful places to take photos indoors. Our ceremony was as one of our (non-religious) guests said “The best 55 minutes of my life” due to the incredible beauty of the chapel and talented musicians, including the incomparable vocals by Stacey. The reception was flawless. The ISJ staff was plentiful and guests were well served. The food was delicious and in generous portions. Our guests raved about our bartenders, especially Kevin, who created unique and delicious cocktails. Michael who was making sure we were well attended to, went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met, including delivering some leftover late night snacks to our room for the end of the night! The Inn at St. John’s knows how to do weddings and do them incredibly well. The service-minded staff made our day flawless and enjoyable. We held our wedding reception in the Atrium at the Inn. When I first saw pictures of the Atrium I knew that we needed to have our wedding there. We began working with Linda, who was lovely, to create our perfect wedding day. We were unable to join the large group menu tasting so they arranged a private tasting for us and even surprised us with champagne since it was our anniversary. Linda was away on leave and Ella took over coordinating in our final few weeks. The transition was very smooth and Ella handled all of our final decisions and last minute questions. On the day of the wedding I was blown away with how beautiful the room looked. The serving team was amazing and took such great care of the wedding party and made sure we always had food, drinks and anything else we possibly needed/wanted. We received compliments all night about how great the service was and are still having people compliment the service a month later. I would not hesitate to recommend having your wedding at the Inn. The Atrium is absolutely beautiful and the staff from the wedding coordinators, to the servers, to the bartenders all make sure that everything is perfect on the day of your wedding.

TRUST THE INN. They are the best. The service is absolutely incredible, 5 star. They have so much experience planning events it is like having a wedding planner to help you. They take care of everything and all of my vendors had worked with them before which made the wedding day a breeze. When I walked into our reception I was speechless. We were in the grand ballroom. This has its own bathroom, and has a balcony overlooking the ballroom. We went with up lighting, and the havarti chairs. Everything was perfect. We went with donuts for our desert and forgot to bring the donut display stand we had gotten for the night. The Inn took care of everything and came up with a fantastic solution they looked 1000 times better than our stand would have. My sister was married at the Inn 9 years before me, and i'm so thankful we continued the tradition with our wedding.

BLOWN. AWAY. I will never stop being shocked at the unbelievable level of service we received at the Inn. Our coordinator, Linda, made sure everything was well-explained and organized. But the day-of staff were just next-level incredible. The entire dinner service was done in five minutes, for 130 guests. We had so many people tell us that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to! Everyone loved our bartender, Kevin!! And they always made sure we had everything that we needed throughout the day/night. At the last minute, the vendor I had doing our hair and make up, told us we needed to supply a tall chair for us to sit on and the hotel provided one! They were so accommodating. They made everything run so smoothly and they know what they are doing.

Everything we needed was in one location: a Catholic chapel, a beautiful reception venue, a hotel, golf course, and getting ready area. Working with Ella Graubarth was amazing, as she was incredibly responsive and always helpful. She went above and beyond for us. Janette, the Chapel Coordinator, was also great to work with. Our guests were impressed with our wedding; we kept hearing how beautiful the place was and how perfect it looked. Additionally, their customer service is great. Emily and Alyssa were always friendly and even sent us the room block booking information, so we could follow up with guests who hadn't booked. I was even upgraded to the Ambassador Suite, which was wonderful for getting ready in! This venue is perfect rain or shine (in rained on our wedding day and we still got great shots). Food is great and so are the people!

From the chapel, the Grande Ballroom, the gorgeous grounds, and the beautiful hotel, the Inn at St. John's is a magnificent venue and we would select it again 1000 times. Although all of the staff were wonderful, Linda Johnson, our wedding coordinator, went above and beyond! She is so incredibly nice, well organized, and just knows weddings better than anyone ever could. We enjoyed working with her so much and just want to say thank you to her and to the entire staff for creating a true fairytale wedding for us and for going above and beyond to make sure it flowed perfectly! We had our wedding here in January 2018. The venue was absolutely beautiful, we had our reception in the Grand Ballroom. The food was delicious, we got a ton of compliments on it. They did an awesome winter package for us and upgraded our room because the suite wasn't booked for the night. The staff was amazing, they brought appetizers to the room our wedding party went to during the cocktail hour. During dinner the staff waited on our head table all night bringing us drinks and such. I did not have a wedding planner, but getting married here you don't need one. They have someone in charge of everything and they guide you through every detail. We also got married in the chapel, which is gorgeous. They provided live music, which you could upgrade with different instrumentals. The bridal suite overlooks it all and it was fun being able to see all the guests arrive. After the reception ended, the bar in the restaurant 5ive was open and everyone went there for drinks, which was a blast. For all the guests who stayed in the attached hotel, we were able to provide breakfast vouchers to 5ive. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone in the morning and everyone complimented the service and food for the breakfast.Special thanks to Janette, Colleen, and Ed. They were all so helpful. I highly recommend getting married here. It's a one stop shop for everything and made planning a wedding a lot less stressful!

We got married in February. We had our rehearsal dinner, a welcome party, and out ceremony and reception at St. Johns'. We also have a lot of family that lives out of town, so we had a lot of people staying in the hotel, and eating at 5. Overall, St Jonh's was great. We used the Grand ballroom for our reception, and the Wisdom room for the welcome party. It is a beautiful place to get married, including the church, and all of our guests loved that everything was on site, and we did not need to worry about transportation. Our experience was a little frustrating leading up to the wedding. When we first selected St. John's, we were assigned a wedding coordinator. We worked with her for a few months, and I was then contacted by another coordinator notifying us that she would be taking over, because the first person no longer worked there. We then dealt with her for a few months, and met her at our tasting. About 3 months before the wedding, she stopped returning my calls and emails. I tried to reach her for a few weeks, and I finally called the general number, assuming that she was no longer with the company. We eventually ended up working with Ella, who was great. She was very helpful and thought of everything that we did not. She coordinated with all of our vendors, and everything turned our beautifully. I understand that people move on from jobs, my only complaint was that I was not informed. I would imagine that someone would at least be receiving the emails of the person who left the company. In the end, the wedding weekend turned out perfect, and as other reviewers have mentioned they do treat you like royalty. We had several managers come to us through the night to check on our experience. They found us first when serving cake and midnight snacks, to ensure wee got everything we wants. The entire wedding party, and our parents were treated very well. The food was very good, the service was on point. and you cannot beat the venue, it really is like no other wedding venue out there.

We really wanted to have our wedding here, so we called multiple times to speak with one of their event coordinators and we always got their voicemail. We would leave a voicemail only to never be called back. We tried everyday for two weeks to get ahold of them and unfortunately they never returned our calls. This place seems beautiful and I’m sure other had better luck than us.

We really wanted to have our wedding here, so we called multiple times to speak with one of their event coordinators and we always got their voicemail. We would leave a voicemail only to never be called back. We tried everyday for two weeks to get ahold of them and unfortunately they never returned our calls. This place seems beautiful and I’m sure other had better luck than us.

We can't say enough great things about the Inn at St. John's! Our day had so much ease because everything was in one place, the coordinators, especially Linda, handled our every question. The service of every single employee we encountered was phenomenal. Our reception coordinator even packed up a dinner for the groom and I to have after the reception. I would recommend this venue to EVERYONE! It was very reasonably priced to get married here in the winter, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!!

I recently got married at the Inn at St. John's and I can't say enough good things about this venue! Our guests commented that the food was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding and were so impressed with the entire dinner service. Our wedding coordinator was Ella and she was amazing. She was very quick to respond to any and all questions we had and helped make last minute changes that were so helpful to me as the bride. I can truly say I had my dream wedding at the Inn at St. John's and would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering it! We also loved the fact that the chapel, reception, and hotel were all connected so once our guests arrived they never had to leave!

Our wedding day was perfect! The facility of The Inn at St. John's was so beautiful for our winter wedding! The staff was so nice and friendly throughout the whole process and the food was amazing! We want to come back and sign up for food tastings in the future we loved our wedding meals so much! All of our guests left full and happy with all the appetizers, dinner meals, dessert choices, and late night snack. They were also very accommodating to food allergies in our guests. I highly recommend this venue! They made our day perfect!

Our wedding day was perfect! The facility of The Inn at St. John's was so beautiful for our winter wedding! The staff was so nice and friendly throughout the whole process and the food was amazing! The Inn at St. John's is beautiful. My husband spent time researching venues before he proposed and brought me to the Inn. As soon as I saw the Atrium I knew I wanted it to be our reception hall. I am Catholic and so we were able to get married in the chapel and it is adorable. We had a winter wedding so it was extremely nice that our guests did not have to travel. The staff there is amazing and extremely helpful. I was able to set up in the Atrium the night before (because there wasn't an event). They lit all of the candles and were really good about making sure the bridal party got appetizers, drinks, etc. I love the Inn at St. John's!

Such an exquisite venue! A one-stop shop, a well-oiled machine, in true Inn at St. John fashion, there is not one detail that is not attended to. The hors d’oeuvres and dinner were delicious. The room was spell-binding and the staff, impeccable. From the very beginning to the very end we had the pleasure of working with Linda, who takes on so many roles from wedding organizer to wedding planner and was an absolute blessing to work with and so very genuine. The experience only gets better as we were then introduced to Janette and Kathy. Both who are extremely organized, quick to respond, and like Linda, couldn't be more helpful and accommodating to our needs. Mary Ann and Gloria were no different, ensuring our wedding rehearsal ran smoothly and that all were happy. Come to the big day of all things my wedding band had been misplaced and was lost just an hour before walking down the aisle! All hands on deck as the St. John staff was now looking for my ring as well. Jessica at the front desk took it upon herself to help out even though her shift had ended. That's the kind of service that can be found at the Inn at St. Johns. Jessica then FINDS the ring in a hallway wedged underneath a crack just in time before I have to head down the aisle. It truly was a miracle and what happens next is nothing short of that... As my father and I wait for the green light down the aisle, Cardinal Maida exits out the elevator, pauses, turns to me, raises his hand and blesses me before walking down the aisle. God must have known I needed all the help I could get that day, another reason why I was happy to be in good hands at the Inn at St. Johns. Thanks to Erin we remained on schedule following our service. Making sure we were happy throughout the night. It was the best day of my life. Thank you Inn at St. John we cant wait to visit again soon!

The staff was excellent and the room was perfectly set up, everything exactly how I had hoped and expected. The Inn at St Johns was a beautiful place for my wedding reception and I loved every minute of it. I would definitely recommend it to any bride looking for an elegant place to have their reception while still being able to afford it!

Everything was exception except they messed up the allergy plates with the regular ones so one of my bridesmaids was puking all night. Difficult to get a hold of but everything was flawless other than those things.
