Sainte Terre Estate is home to two uniquely designed wedding venues in Benton, LA. We opened our first venue, Sainte Terre, in 2014 with a dream and an ideaâŠto create a place made just for weddings. We wanted this to be a place where families could gather, and couples could begin a new life free from the stress that comes with planning an event of this magnitude. We hoped to embrace the romance and reverence of what was to take place on this property - creating an experience that could be enjoyed and relished by our couples and their guests. After 9 years and hundreds of weddings, we feel honored to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a special day for so many couples. Over the years we have added amazing talent to our team of wedding professionals, and we've expanded our grounds to include the one-of-a-kind open-air chapel nestled in the woods surrounding Sainte Terre. We're also thrilled to announce the most recent Sainte Terre expansion...The Stables at Sainte Terre! Set on over 40 acres of rolling hills, The Stables is designed to have a charming & modern vibe, with subtle nods to the horse ranch it once was. While we cater to current tastes and the latest styles, we at Sainte Terre Estate believe that there are some things that never go out of fashion. I do not have the proper words to explain how incredible this venue and the team is. Five stars is just not enough! As soon as we chose this venue, the team went to work! They made our wedding planning process a breeze. From the decor, to the food, the flowers and the photography⊠I couldnât have imagined a more perfect day.Holly, Hillary, Kaleb, Derek and the rest of the Sainte Terre staff went above and beyond to make our day one that we will never forget. I am so thankful that we found this group of people. Hillary⊠I just dang love ya girl. <3They did a PHENOMENAL job on this venue. The entire place is beautiful, but the small details added really make it what it is. The main building, chapel, outdoor seating areas and outdoor area in front of the pond makes for a picturesque place to just be at, let alone get married at!If you choose this venue I promise you that you will NOT regret it. You will have an amazing wedding and have the BEST time throughout the planning process. Everyone says that planning your wedding is the most stressful time, but the Sainte Terre staff ensure that wonât happen. And it didnât!Thank you guys for the best day of my new husband and Iâs life. Itâs one we will never, ever, EVER forget.

Sainte Terre has been a Godsend to my husband and me. We found the venue the night we got engaged while living in North Carolina. After reaching out and providing our availability during holiday travels, Derek got back to us in exceptional time, and we scheduled a tour. Once we had set our date, the team at Sainte Terre did all the planning for us based on our likes/dislikes that we were able to establish through meetings both on Zoom while we lived out of state and in person. This took all the stress of planning away from us, allowing us to enjoy the planning process as we navigated through moving, career changes, and while I finished pharmacy school.Hillary and Derek are THE experts at weddings and ensured that my husband and I did not have to lift a finger on our wedding day (they even packed our car during the reception with all our belongings so we could enjoy being with our guests). It was a very rainy weekend and the team worked hard to ensure that I could still have my dream wedding at their outdoor chapel during a break in the rain. Hillary went above and beyond with taking our vision and making it a reality that was more beautiful than we had ever imagined. Hillary worked with our decor budget and completely transformed the venue and made it feel like we were in the mountains of North Carolina (where we first met) again. All our guests were so impressed with the overall vibe that Hillary had set up, most saying that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding that they have ever been to. Holly was so sweet and helped us build our perfect menu from the drinks to cocktail hour, to the dinner that was served. She accommodated to my husbandâs request of a bread pudding and crĂšme brulee bar in place of a groomâs cake. Our guests still rave about the food, with most of them saying they regret not eating more. My husband and I love being a Sainte Terre couple because the process was enjoyable from the day we set the date, to the day we said âI do.â We are very appreciative of all the work that the Sainte Terre team put in for us to have our most perfect day!

My husband and I got married at Sainte Terre in two beautiful multicultural ceremonies representing mine and my husbandâs cultures. We are so glad that we were able to get married at Sainte Terre because our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect! It is probably the most beautiful venue in the area. The owners, Derek, Holly and Hillary make wedding planning so easy on the bride and groom. Derek and Hillary spent hours planning with us to make our wedding exactly as we imagined. The decor was so tastefully done by Hillary. She created a perfect âmandapâ for our traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, and then transformed it the next day for a beautiful Christian wedding ceremony. She also coordinated the dayâs events to perfection without any stress or delays.The food, that was probably some of the best Indian and Cajun food weâve had in a long time. Chef Holly created a masterpiece. This includes the traditional Indian menu on the day of the Hindu wedding and equally amazing Cajun food the next day.The whole experience at Sainte Terre is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this venue to anybody looking for a beautiful and stress-free wedding.

Our wedding design, planning, service, food, and drinks went above and beyond what I had hoped for- we received so many compliments from our guests! Also, the team takes such good care of the bride and groom on the day of the wedding- they are there for whatever you need and are handling everything behind the scenes so that you can actually relax and enjoy your day! \"I swear they have eyes in the back of their head.\" I overheard this by one of the wedding guests. They stated they needed a fork and before they knew it one was in their hand almost from out of nowhere. I can attest to the the service. I looked at my glass to go for a refill and my glass was picked up and returned promptly. These are just minor gestures but goes to the heart of everyone at Sainte Terre. My husband and I were parents of the groom and we were made to feel an important part of the event from the day the date was set. We were able to taste the food to be served to our guests at the rehearsal dinner well in advance and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing. Holly and her crew are unbelievably talented. 5 star quality for sure. The guests continued to rave about the food the next day and then again during the dinner/reception. There was food provided during the day for the brides party and snacks for the groomsmen while they waited for pictures. The food and service was beyond expectations. The bridal suite was outfitted with plenty of mirrors and lighting, first aid kits and even steamers. Anything we could possibly need was there to make sure everyone looked their best. We even had places to rest and relax during the day while getting ready for pictures and the wedding.The venue itself is secluded and quaint. The copper roof on the chapel glistens and sets of the steeple against a beautiful blue sky. The lighting at night is soft and romantic. The dining hall is designed as a barn but finished out impeccably to accommodate for any style wedding you are looking for. Our bride chose Bohemian and it was enchanting.The decor suited the bride and groom to a T. They wanted something Bohemian but not too staged, casual with a touch of bling, classy and tasteful. The chapel and the reception hall were absolutely perfect. The bride and groom looked right at home in the setting. It was definitely all about them and it showed. Hillary listened to what the bride said and delivered on point. She made sure everyone knew where to be when and that the ceremony went off without a hitch. The other service providers suggested by Sainte Terre were exceptional from the Cakes, to the hair and makeup artists, DJ, florist and photography. Derek had his antenna out for any possible need that anyone had. He would just appear at the right time to put people at ease and made everyone feel welcome and a part of the event and the family. Weddings are meant to be special and memorable, but often there are so many details to get caught up in, that the couple and families are too exhausted to really experience the event. That is not the case with Sainte Terre. We were able to truly take in every moment of the two day event and have memories that will last a lifetime because the family at Sainte Terre took care of every last special detail. I just can't find the words to thank them enough so I all I can say is from the bottom of my heart, Thank You, Sainte Terre. You make me want to marry my husband all over again!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and a HUGE part of that was because of the wonderful staff at Sainte Terre. Hilary, the wedding coordinator, is unbelievable! She went above and beyond from the day we booked the venue to when we were leaving that night after the wedding. We didn't have to think about anything because her and Derek had everything covered. The food was FANTASTIC!! If you are getting married in the area, you can't go wrong with Sainte Terre!

From the first time I laid eyes on this place I knew it was the perfect place to have our wedding, and it was the best decision Iâve ever made other than saying I DO! This is hands down the best wedding venue and team in Louisiana and maybe even Texas. Derek, Holly and Hillary were AMAZING! From the moment we signed our contract till 3 months post wedding, they have made us feel so special like we were the only wedding that they have or will ever host. My husband and I spent our honeymoon reliving every single perfect moment of our day. Obsessing over our guests photos and comments. Everyone RAVED about how delicious the food was. We went with a simple menu with fried chicken (husbandâs choice) and some of our guests are still asking when they will be opening a restaurant so they can COME BACK! My wedding attendants canât stop talking about how relaxed and easy the day was. Hillary handled everything. EVERYTHING. Even impressing my Mother. And for someone who manages events for a living, it was difficult for me to trust someone to just take the reins, but Hillary & Derek went above and beyond. I didnât have a single care that day other than messing up my vows. And the decor took my breath away! This place is beautiful with nothing added. Each visit made it harder to leave but Hillary knocked it out of the park, while still working with our budget. She gave us a design that was true to us, and different from any of the previous designs I had been obsessing over from the months leading up to our wedding. So stop looking. The services and goods that are included in the event rental FAR surpass what you would spend if you attempted this on your own, and trust me it still wouldnât be able to hold a candle to the things Hillary can do. You can have it ALL at Sainte Terre, a beautiful venue, fantastic food, and the best event director/ decorator in the business! Go now before your date is gone!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon reliving every single perfect moment of our day. Obsessing over our guests photos and comments. Everyone RAVED about how delicious the food was. We went with a simple menu with fried chicken (husbandâs choice) and some of our guests are still asking when they will be opening a restaurant so they can COME BACK! My wedding attendants canât stop talking about how relaxed and easy the day was. Hillary handled everything. EVERYTHING. Even impressing my Mother. And for someone who manages events for a living, it was difficult for me to trust someone to just take the reins, but Hillary & Derek went above and beyond. I didnât have a single care that day other than messing up my vows. And the decor took my breath away! This place is beautiful with nothing added. Each visit made it harder to leave but Hillary knocked it out of the park, while still working with our budget. She gave us a design that was true to us, and different from any of the previous designs I had been obsessing over from the months leading up to our wedding. So stop looking. The services and goods that are included in the event rental FAR surpass what you would spend if you attempted this on your own, and trust me it still wouldnât be able to hold a candle to the things Hillary can do. You can have it ALL at Sainte Terre, a beautiful venue, fantastic food, and the best event director/ decorator in the business! Go now before your date is gone!

My fiancé, family, guests and I were absolutely blown away with Sainte Terre, not just the venue, but the family that works there. Everything was beyond perfect! My father told my mother several times that he was so happy we chose Sainte Terre, and he believed everyone had a great time! We highly recommend this wonderful venue and family!

As the mother of the bride,my daughter was excited about her engagement but knew that planning a wedding while finishing her PhD would be difficult. But at our initial meeting with Sainte Terre, her anxiousness turned to peace. From the moment we came up the drive and the little white chapel and the large gray barn came into view, Chelsea's face lit up and her smile stayed fixed from ear to ear! It truly was perfect for her and Thomas! They wanted a more traditional wedding with a French country flare (Chelsea spent a couple of years of high school near Paris, France) and a relaxed vibe. The Sainte Terre team helped us to make their wishes turn into a magical weekend! Derek and Hillary met with us several times, listening to what Chelsea had in mind and providing suggestions that added to the theme and beauty of the event. The cost of the venue included Hillary as an amazing wedding planner and decorator, the linens and table settings, an officiant - who did such a wonderful and personal job, the cake cutting, and much more! Hillary turned the facilities into what Chelsea dreamed about - complete with vines and trees, lights and lavender! We met with Holly to plan the food and can not say enough about her enthusiasm, ideas, and skills! The food perfectly complimented the French Country theme that Hillary and Derek helped us create, with an amazing cocktail hour that included a monogrammed baked brie in a pastry, warm mini baguettes, mushroom tarts, and mini quiche! All of this was enjoyed with a blackberry muddled champagne (thanks to Derek and Fete LA) that everyone raved about! From there, Holly created a French feast to include shrimp stuffed crepes with Mornay sauce, Gratin Dauphinois, Chicken Paillard, ratatouille, and mini French onion soups with gougeres! Everyone commented on the incredible food! We cannot say enough about the staff and facilities at Sainte Terre! So many of our guests told us that this was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended!

So thankful we found Sainte Terre. As a bride I was so stressed trying to plan everything. As soon as I met with Holly, Hillary, & Derek I felt like I could relax. They assured me they would make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The fact that they literally take care of everything and you don't have to worry about finding someone to do food, decorate, or DJ just makes everything so much easier!
