Words can’t explain how perfect my wedding was at the Salamander October 2023. The staff is professional and lovely, extremely responsive and extremely helpful during the planning process. The food is top notch, the vibe in the Salamander is elegant. Everything is beautiful at this location. It costs a little more than other wedding locations but for good reason - you will absolutely be impressed and happy with everything and so will your guests. Reviewed on 14-12-2023
Marlaina Boehm(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-04-2023 The cake and cupcakes we ordered through Jason from the Salamander Resort were incredible. We met Jason at our tasting and everything he made for us was so delicious, it was so hard to narrow down the flavors we wanted. Jason was even able to make gluten free and vegan cupcakes for some of our guests, and they still tasted amazing. All of our guests raved about the cupcakes and kept going back for more. The cake we ordered for just us to cut and eat was so beautiful and decadent I wanted to eat the whole thing right then and there. We will definitely be ordering cakes and cupcakes from them in the future! Reviewed on 16-05-2023
Hannah G(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-06-2021 Salamander was truly our dream venue, and it lived up to be well beyond our expectations. The setting is stunning, the activities available work for a huge range of interests, the food is incredible, the staff so lovely and accommodating, and the event team is amazing. Lindsay was our event coordinator and she truly felt like our personal wedding planner - she answered each one of our dozens of emails and questions promptly and clearly, and made herself super available to communicate with. Over our wedding weekend, she checked in with us multiple times and made sure things were running smoothly. Her professional, calm, and thoughtful demeanor made the whole experience fun and positive. We made some last minute requests during the wedding weekend and she was able to not only get back to us promptly, but was able to accommodate all of them. We feel so fortunate that not only were we able to get married at such a stunning place, but that we got to work with such kind people. Everyone at Salamander was incredibly friendly, and our guests remarked on what an incredible experience they had as guests. Could not have been better! Reviewed on 10-06-2021
Molli Ferrarello(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-08-2020 After our original plans were derailed due to COVID-19, we visited the Salamander for the first time one month before we ended up having our wedding there. We were immediately put at ease by Clare Pennington's responsiveness, patience, and organization. She is a pleasure to work with and is so on top of things she can make even the most anxious bride feel at ease! We had a microwedding with just our immediate family and wedding party and it was absolutely perfect! We chose the culinary gardens for our ceremony and reception. The location could not have been more beautiful! The gardens were filled with blooming flowers and greenery and had dreamy string lights hanging. The food was amazing! My husband and I are both very into food and he went to culinary school and used to cook professionally. Due to the shortened planning time, we were not able to do a tasting ahead of our wedding. We were blown away by how good the food was at our reception--as were our guests! The appetizers were delicious and safely served through a plexiglass barrier during cocktail hour. Don't sleep on the risotto fritters!! Delicious. For entress, we went with salmon, beef short rib, and a vegetarian mushroom risotto. All so good!! The cake was not only the best wedding cake I've ever had, but one of the best cakes period. The pastry chef is so skilled at creating beautiful designs and making delicious desserts! Last thing, the staff was awesome. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. The Salamander is taking COVID-19 precautions extremely seriously, which put us and our guests at ease. We stressed our safety concerns to Clare and she made sure the ceremony chairs were spaced out, guests were sat by household, and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. Everyone working the event was so well trained on COVID-19 safety, that we were able to relax and while it was a small group and we were all very careful, it didn't feel like a \"COVID wedding.\" It felt like a beautiful, intimate celebration with some of our closest loved ones. If you are looking for a beautiful place to safely get married during this uncertain time, reach out to the Salamander! We are so glad we did! Reviewed on 17-08-2020

Kelsey Bagous(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-11-2016 The Salamander hosted our wedding reception and everything was perfect! Lindsay and Chloe went way above and beyond to make sure everything for our wedding day was perfect. They coordinated with all of our vendors and took care of all of the set up for the cocktail hour and reception. Even with a bad weather forecast that required a last minute cocktail hour location change, everything went smoothly and all was taken care of. The food and cake were INCREDIBLE and all of the wait staff were so kind and accommodating. I honestly do not know what I would have done without Lindsay and Chloe being there every step of the way. They thought of every small thing and there is literally nothing I can say that I didn't like about the whole experience. I could go on and on...cant say enough good things about the beautiful resort and the perfect staff at the Salamander Hotel and Spa! Reviewed on 03-01-2017
Emily Dougherty(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2016 We hosted our rehearsal dinner, welcome cocktails (day before the wedding), wedding ceremony, reception and brunch (day after the wedding) at the Salamander Resort & Spa. We made the weekend a \"destination feel\" - and that is exactly what is was. When you get to the Salamander Resort, you feel like you are somewhere really special. The food and service is amazing and the staff is extremely accommodating. We worked extensively with Lindsay Forseth leading up to our wedding day and had an amazing experience interacting with her. She is professional, well organized and responsive. It is evident that she has a ton of experience in the industry, so there is never a reason to stress about something getting done - she is on it! We also want to give a 'shout out' to Jason Reaves the Executive Pastry Chef - our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful, exactly what we envisioned, and most importantly DELICIOUS. Overall, we had the most amazing wedding weekend and our guests continue to rave about their positive experience at the Salamander Resort. [As a side note and suggestion: be sure to get a good understanding of how the room block works if you will have guests stay at the Salamander Resort. I believe it is pretty standard, but if you are unfamiliar with the process (like we were) it will save you some confusion to get the details up front.] Reviewed on 19-08-2016
