Salish Lodge & Spa Reviews
Jennifer Elder(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-05-2022 This was the perfect place to have our wedding! We had a small wedding with about 30 people total and it was the perfect amount of people for the Falls Terrace room and patio. The space was beautiful and the sight of the falls cannot be beat. My now husband and I both grew up in Washington and Salish was the perfect place for our PNW fantasy wedding. The entire team and staff were so wonderful and kind during our stay. Also working with Emily, our event coordinator, was fantastic. She responded so fast to any questions, and she knew the spaces inside and out. We loved having our wedding here not only due to the beautiful venue but they also provide catering, bar, bar staff, wait staff, linens, tables, ceremony chairs, dinner chairs, flatware, and more. They made the whole planning process so easy and we had such a perfect wedding. Reviewed on 09-07-2022
Sarah Brummett(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-05-2021 I would recommend Salish Lodge to any couple looking for a location with a view, high quality finishings and great food. We have enjoyed many delicious meals at Salish in the dining room so when it came time to decide on a venue for our wedding, what better backdrop than the Snoqualmie Falls and finishing touches from Salish. Communication had been great from all the staff with clear timelines and due dates for numbers and menu selection. This includes dealing with Covid postponing our wedding and causing other troubles for them as well. Some of our guests stayed at the Lodge and raved about the finishing style and room views. For day-of, we used the riverside suite to get ready and do the first look photos because it was a very pretty room with great views of the falls and area. Rachel was my coordinator and helped guide us through the timeline and make sure we started on time. The food was great! For spacing, we ended up using the Falls Terrace, Potlatch and patio which gave the guests room to spread out without feeling like they were missing out on something. Reviewed on 04-06-2021
Emily Palin(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-05-2021 We got married 5/8/2021 at Salish Lodge and it was perfect! We went with the intimate wedding package and everyone was incredibly nice and helpful! Reviewed on 12-05-2021
Scott Abel(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-05-2021 We went with the Salish Lodge's Intimate Package for our small COVID-era wedding. They kindly tailored the package to meet all of our needs, including dietary and disability, and even customized our cake (delicious Twin Peaks cherry pies in our case) so that everyone could enjoy! Everyone we encountered at Salish was personable, attentive, and clearly loved what they do! After reaching out to their wedding team, their sales manager Morgan M patiently answered our NUMEROUS and sometimes silly questions. She worked with us to select our perfect day and location: Falls Terrace room for the reception and its adjoining patio for the ceremony. She assured us that the patio would accommodate both sunshine and classic PNW drizzles with its white tent covering, clear walls, and available heater. Upon meeting our event manager, Emily C, we knew we were in good hands! She openly kept us apprised of all costs and designed the perfect layout, menu, and timeline for our small group of 20. Emily, along with Doug and Dillon, made our big day so special! They pampered us so much--from finalizing every detail (even ones we never considered!) to ensuring we had glasses of bubbly (and signature Dale Cooper cocktails) in our hands. They make us wish every day was our wedding day ;) Reviewed on 09-05-2021
Alex Longoria(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-04-2021 Salish Lodge couldn’t have been more perfect for our small COVID wedding.
Originally we were supposed to have a large wedding in Texas, but COVID had other plans for us.

We reached out to Morgan Martin at Salish at the end of January and they were able to squeeze us in for April. She led us on a guided tour of the venue room and when we signed she connected us with Emily Craig as our event coordinator. Emily was a DREAM to work with as she guided us through menu options, reserving the patio outside of the Falls Terrace, working with me on questions regrading party favors and seating arrangements before the big day.On the day of my wedding, I had an accident while taking photos with my photographer and fell in mud right before my ceremony!
When I arrived back at the lodge over an hour late, Emily helped me remove the mud stains from my dress alongside my MOH and my mom and then helped me coordinate the ceremony and the whirlwind that was the rest of the evening.

Emily Craig was truly a ROCKSTAR and a godsend to me on my wedding day.

The rest of the staff at Salish were also incredibly accommodating and were able to fulfill all of my weird and strange requests. Everyone at Salish made all of my wedding dreams come true and I can’t wait to go back to celebrate my anniversary for any years to come!

Thank you so much, but ESPECIALLY Emily Craig! Book Salish for your wedding! You won't regret it! Reviewed on 06-05-2021

We were able to reserve a private room with a view of the river. The view was amazing! We had our wedding at Salish after attending a friend of the family's wedding there a few years prior and falling in love with it! Our guests were amazed by the scenery (some who have lived in WA their whole life and never knew that the Falls ro Lodge are there), and many were beyond impressed by the delicious food! However, my biggest praise goes out to our event coordinator Amanda. She went *above and beyond* in so many ways!! We were planning from two states away, the weather was ominous and non cooperative up until the very last second, we had missing wedding party members at rehearsal, and people with special food needs at the reception. Amanda went far beyond the realm of her responsibilities to make sure everything was taken care of, last minute saves were made (last minute pop up tent for DJ because it was raining? done! wedding dress corset tie undone on walk toward ceremony? she fixed it! directing timing of pics and aisle processional? she made it look like a cake walk) and she did it all with a smile and genuine care. It is no exaggeration to say that she was the glue that made both the ceremony and reception come together despite chaos and challenges!! Reviewed on 26-09-2018

Gwendolyn Allsop(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-01-2019 It's a great spot for having a wedding. The food is great and our locations (Hidden Terrace for the ceremony and the Vintage room for the reception) were stellar. My only concern was that it was difficult to plan things; the contract is not very specific in terms of details. For instance for any candle decor you need the flame to be covered by at least an inch, they actually require you to provide chairs from a rental company (thankfully we only had 20 guests so they were able to make it work for our ceremony), and there a few other things that were not made clear even though I had discussed my ideas for decor multiple times in emails. Which brings me to another issue: it is very hard to communicate with the coordinator. I understand that they are essentially swamped year round, but almost every time we made plans to talk on the phone, they wouldn't call. I would try to ask my questions via email as simply and straightforward as possible, but lots of things were misunderstood and so things like payment issues, decor use, and food requests were difficult to resolve. They also don't give you a lot of time to set things up (only about an hour) which wasn't too bad for us, but for larger parties it could be difficult without help. On the day of the wedding, when I worked with the staff they were all nice and helpful and helped things go smoothly.Overall I think it's a nice place to host your ceremony and reception, it doesn't cost out the wazoo like other areas, and the menu is excellent and customizable to an extent. Hillary Helms(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-10-2015 Our wedding at Salish Lodge went perfectly! The stunning scenery is reason enough to book there. Our catering sales manager, Erin, was so helpful and patient throughout the planning process and made sure everything went smoothly on the big day. Salish went beyond what we ever expected; they brought hors d'oeuvres and sparkling wine to our hotel room following the ceremony so we could eat while we signed our marriage certificate and made changes to our dinner menu so that we could have everything exactly as we wanted. We can't wait to go back for our anniversary! Reviewed on 05-02-2016
Jessica Cheong(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-07-2015 We had our wedding a couple of weeks ago in July, and we could not have been happier with how it went. Just by itself, Salish is an amazing location. It is outside of the city and overlooking the beautiful Snoqualmie Falls. You just feel like you're surrounded by nature without driving hours away from the city. But what made it better was that our Catering Sales Manager, Isabel Scarpelli, was a great person to work with. She and the rest of the staff were very responsive, helpful, and accommodated our last-minute changes. In the words of a colleague, \"The staff at Salish would bend over backward for you.\" As part of our contract, we also received one night at their lodge, and it was such an amazing room. Huge corner room, with two Jacuzzis, and overlooking the Snoqualmie Falls - I still get chills thinking about it :). I definitely, highly recommend Salish to be your wedding venue because it is just a really amazing place staffed with amazing people! Reviewed on 23-07-2015

Shaina Grujon(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-07-2013 The staff at Salish did a great job pulling everything together for the wedding. Erin was willing to work within the limitations of my budget while giving me suggestions as we went along. When I dropped the ball following up on some things, Salish followed up with me via email and made sure that all of the odds and ends were tied up. \r\rHint: We got married on a Thursday to take advantage of their mid-week pricing. We never would have been able to afford a wedding as beautiful as ours on a Saturday. Salish has a minimum food and drink on weekends (not including venue rental) which is more than the entire cost of the Salish-portion of our wedding. So, in conclusion, on a weekday, this is totally worth the money. Reviewed on 04-08-2013
Allison Anacker(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-07-2013 I grew up in the area and had been to Snoqualmie Falls many times, but never had occasion to stay in the lodge. My parents gave us the gift of spending our wedding night there and it was perfect! The room was cozy and beautiful, there were rose petals everywhere, and the jacuzzi tub which they have in all rooms was fantastic. The view of the top of the waterfall from the room is not spectacular but the short walk from the lodge to the viewpoint gets you the gorgeous view. Reviewed on 01-08-2013
Andrea Thomas(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-12-2013 We loved our honeymoon stay the Salish Lodge and Spa! It was amazing, rose petals on the bed, nice welcome card, wine, large two-person jetted tub, beautiful views, and more! I would plan to stay here again for our anniversaries to come! \r\rThe only slight negative is that our parents bought us the room and we didn't know of the cost. However in the morning there was a piece of paper under the door, and after a quick look it was a copy of the bill! I was not happy because it was none of our business how much our parents spent. We informed the guest services as other honeymooners should not have to worry. Reviewed on 06-07-2013

Melissa Kocan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-02-2013 The Salish Lodge is not only a gorgeous venue - their staff care about each and every wedding. One of the main reasons we picked the Lodge was of course the view, but the other was our initial meeting with the coordinator Uyen. She made my fiance and I feel that she would do anything to make our day perfect. There were a few things we ran into along the months of planning, but each and every time Uyen and the staff of the Lodge made arrangements to make changes and adjustments. On the day of the wedding everything went PERFECT. The servers got the food out quickly (and hot) and it tasted FANTASTIC. Uyen was around checking to make sure everything was running smoothly. While I was preparing to walk down the aisle I heard a walkie talkie going off from one of the employees working the cocktail hour saying \"Cermony has started!\" These people know what they are doing - and they do it wonderfully. I felt like Eloise of the Salish Lodge the day of our wedding - everywhere I went employees told me congratulations and how gorgeous I looked and waited on me hand and foot. Our room was upgraded, we were giving a private dining room for the night of our wedding, and the valet guys gave us tips of places to go in Oahu on our honeymoon. I could go on and on about my experience at Salish Lodge but it was just wonderful. Choosing it as our venue was the best decision. I couldn't have asked for more - if I could give them 10 stars I would. \rP.S. They can do your wedding cake as well - and I HIGHLY recommend it. The bottom of the falls were closed down in 4/11 for repairs to the hiking trail or something... and is going to be closed for a long time. When we booked the venue at the end of 2010, they did not tell us that this was happening. We had the idea that we would be able to take pictures at the bottom of the waterfall, and were very disappointed when we found out in May that we would no longer be able to do what we wanted. \r\rAlso, we started with one wedding coordinator there, and she was pregnant, so a few months before our wedding we had to switch coordinators to someone we had never met before. She was helpful and quick to respond to emails...it was just a bit annoying to have to repeat several of the things we had already talked about. \r\rThe food was delicious, but all very expensive. For the entrees, whichever the most expensive choice you choose will be the cost of ALL meals...so the veg and fish entrees will cost the same as the lamb... kind of ridiculous.\r\rWe were originally booked upstairs in the Potlach/Terrace rooms... but our guest list ended up being a bit higher than we thought. Less than a month before the wedding, they were able to move us down into the ballroom, which actually turned out to be WAY better than our originally choice. The lobby area in front on the ballroom was perfect for appetizers/drinks and mingling! it would have been way too cramped in the upstairs rooms unless you had less than 100 people.\r \rIn all... no matter all little flaws of Salish I can pick at... my wedding was still perfect. I would NOT have changed the venue, if I had the chance. Reviewed on 23-10-2011
