Located 40 minutes from Charleston's center, Salty Oak Farm will allow your guests to enjoy the charm of a working farm alongside the attractions of a lively city. Originally constructed in the 1900s, this venue has been beautifully restored and can accommodate around 300 people for an event. One of the popular choices for a reception is the main farmhouse, which features plenty of space for dining and dancing and a built-in bar. There is a lovely suite where you and your wedding party can get ready for the special day. Additionally, there is state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment, great for music and speeches. You can utilize the outdoor courtyard for an extra 1,000 square feet of event space for a cocktail hour or as a romantic ceremony site. For overnight accommodations, the two adjacent homes on the property can sleep about 20 guests. Before your celebration, you can tour Salty Oak Farm to ensure this venue is the right fit for you. We had an amazing wedding experience at Salty Oak. The first time I walked onto the property, I knew we had to get married there. Both houses on the property are gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. Stephanie is wonderful to work with, very helpful, but also laid back which allowed me to plan the wedding of my dreams without many restrictions. Highly recommend this venue!!

Stephanie (Manager) Stephanie is the Venue Manager of Salty Oak Farm. A native of Boca Raton, Florida, she has lived in Charleston for over two decades. She graduated with a BS in Kinesiology from Wheaton College (IL) in 2002 then went on to receive an M.Ed. in Health and Exercise Science in 2004 from The Citadel. Stephanie quickly realized her passion for helping people and thrives off creating memorable experiences for people at Salty Oak Farm. She lives with her husband and two children near Mount Pleasant.
