I had always dreamed of getting married at Salvatore's. When we were touring venues, as soon as I stepped foot into the magical beauty and old school Chicago vibe it invokes, we stopped our search and never looked back. From the moment we began preparations with Marco and Renata it was flawless - they are true professionals and helped us through the selection process of food, linens and many other vendors we ended up going with from their preferred list. They were very prompt in their responses whenever I had questions and I always felt confident all would go perfectly on the actual day. I loved that it was all inclusive too. The staff there is so remarkable as well. On our wedding day, they had our favorite drink and a plate of our hors d'oeuvres ready to enjoy as we shared a private moment in the dinner space as our guest enjoyed cocktail hour. The entire venue was exactly what I envisioned it would be on the day, I wouldn't of changed one thing. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests as well and many of them have said similar sentiments that it was simply elegant, classy and most importantly intimate. All of these is exactly what I wanted my guest to feel on our wedding day. The food was top notch as well! Lastly, the only regret I do have is not booking Erin their internal wedding coordinator - she was there the night of our wedding and she helped bustle my dress, get us drinks and got me pumped up for our first dance. She was so great! From start to finish - this team and venue is top notch and made our day perfect in everyway.

Wanted to give the biggest THANK YOU to Salvatore’s. We got married on 7/22 and it was truly the best day of our lives. From inquiry to the big day, the team was wonderful and extremely responsive. Salvatore’s was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and everyone said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Marco, Erin, and staff have the timeline and flow of a reception down to a science. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! They also partner with so many amazing vendors in Chicago that added to the magic of the day.Couldn’t recommend enough….Above and beyond any expectations we had!

From the moment we walked into Salvatore's for our initial tour, we knew it was a special place. The building is over 100 years old and beautiful. It truly likes like old school Chicago. Marco and Renata provide top notch customer service - they are responsive and we felt supported through the planning process. The food is incredible (try the tortellini). The drinks are amazing and their open bar includes everything, we loved that there weren't different packages to choose from. We are so glad that we hosted our reception at Salvatore's.

I set out looking for an \"Classic Chicago\" venue. I wanted the dark wood walls and white tablecloths and chandeliers. I found Salvatore's and I loved it the moment I saw it. They made my wedding absolutely perfect. Everything is outstanding. The food, the venue setup, and the customer service is out of this world. Everyone I knew said it was the best wedding that they'd been to. Definitely a cut above your standard banquet hall venue. If you want a beautiful and elegant wedding, you have to book Salvatore's!

We held our wedding at Salvatore's and recommend them as highly as possible. First, Marco and Renata (the managers) were very nice and helpful to us from the first time we contacted them, throughout all the planning stages and the wedding itself. They are very well organized and walked us through everything we needed to do to put the event together. They were also always fast to respond and happy to offer advice on any question we posed. Second, the venue is beautiful both indoors and outdoors (with a covered terrace and garden view), and requires almost no additional decoration. Finally, the food options Salvatore's offers are some of the best we've had anywhere, which they managed to do while also retaining a relaxed atmosphere. We also hired Erin, Salvatore's in-house wedding planner and coordinator, to help us with day-of coordination. Erin was instrumental to the ceremony and reception running smoothly, keeping everything on schedule and generally managing the entire evening. Overall, she did a marvelous job and we highly recommend her services along with Salvatore's!

My husband and I were originally supposed to get married on Captiva Island, FL, but Hurricane Ian wiped it out, leaving us with 3 weeks to replan our wedding for the same date, just in our home city. Marco was quick to respond to my inquiry and set up a time to meet with me right away. They had the date available and did everything they could do help me put it together in such a short time... and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY! No one would have ever guessed it was supposed to be in FL. The service was amazing, and the food was incredible. The space is a very cute old Chicago feel, and it has a nice outdoor patio/garden area so guests can get fresh air throughout the night. Marco was always quick to respond and did a great job at helping me make sure everything was covered. I would highly recommend Salvatore's and Marco for any of your event needs.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore's and it was absolutely perfect. The helpfulness and amazing communication of Renata and Marco leading up to the wedding really made the planning as stress-free as possible. The venue itself is so beautiful. If you're looking for intimate, romantic, vintage, candle-light dinner vibes, this is the place for you. The food was also one of the big reason we chose Salvatore's. It was really important to me and my husband that the food at our wedding be delicious and memorable, and Salvatore's delivered. Everything tasted amazing but our guests couldn't stop talking about the tortellini and tiramisu. The only hiccup was that the table settings at dinner were slightly different than our seating chart by a seat or two at a couple tables, but Salvatore's fixed the problem so quickly that I wasn't even aware of it until after. Our wedding day was so perfect and we owe a lot of that to Salvatore's!!!

We had the most perfect wedding at Salvatore's. It was better than I could've imagined, and many guests told us it was best wedding they'd ever attended. We know this is in large part thanks to the beautiful intimate candlelit venue, charming location, flow of ceremony to cocktails to dancing, and an ideal atmosphere for a celebration. From start to finish, Marco and Renata guided us through the planning process and made it clear, easy, and fun. Marco and Renata are true professionals with years of experience in the biz. They were very communicative, quick to respond, and just an absolute pleasure to work with. I had specific visions for many decor elements and Marco made sure the details were all in place. During the wedding and following the ceremony, Renata and the rest of the Salvatore's staff were so warm and supportive, making sure I was fed and had water and had everything I needed. Renata also offered to print an afterparty sign during the reception so that guests could easily see the afterparty details. I cannot recommend the Salvatore's venue and team more. Salvatore's hosted the celebration of a lifetime for me and my now husband, our families, and friends, and I will be forever grateful to everyone who helped make our wedding day perfect.

When looking for a venue, we had many things that were important to us: Atmosphere, Location, Affordability, lgbt friendly, and somewhere that didn’t require us to do a lot of extra leg work. We wanted our wedding to be and to feel upscale, and to be beautiful and Salvatore’s delivered flawlessly on all counts. We had a small 50 person wedding which post Covid is referred to as a micro wedding. Marco helped us with each phase of our wedding from the tour of the venue and walk through of what is included, from our tasting which was so so fun and delicious, to the excellent vendor recommendations. Fast forward to our wedding day, we had their amazing coordinator Renata who went above and beyond to make things run smoothly. Everyone says that not everything will go perfectly on their wedding, but they must not have had their wedding at Salvatore’s. Our day was so flawless… with a smaller guest count, we got to spend time with each other, we got to enjoy the delicious food, and our guests literally danced all night . The space was absolute perfection and we could not have asked for a better day. Our only regret is that we will only get married once! Thank you to Salvatore’s!

My wife and I recently got married at Salvatore’s (May 2022) and we could not have had a better experience! Everything was perfect – the venue, the staff, and the overall wedding package that Salvatore’s provides. Just a phenomenal experience. First – the venue is absolutely beautiful! My wife and I barely had to bring any additional décor because the venue already had so much charm and character. We held both our ceremony and our reception at Salvatore’s. After the ceremony, our guests transitioned into the spacious cocktail room while the staff flipped the room to set up for dinner. It was so nice just transitioning from one portion of the night to the next without having to plan any logistics/travel. I think our guests really appreciated this as well. Salvatore’s has multiple rooms that you can utilize (including two separate rooms with big bars). They also have a great outdoor patio that our guest could get outside and get some fresh air. From a pricing perspective – you cannot find a better value downtown Chicago. Everything is handled by the staff at Salvatore’s (food, drinks, valet, set up, etc.), we did not need to worry about bringing in any other vendors. From start to finish they orchestrated the party. The food and the drinks were also great (still thinking about the Tortellini!).Finally – the staff was so great to work with! Marco and Renata always took time to answer any questions that we had (no matter if it was 18 months or two weeks before our wedding date). On our wedding day, the entire staff just wanted to make sure my wife and I were having a wonderful time. With all the planning that goes into one day, it’s great to have people reminding you and encouraging you to live in the moment!We would highly recommend Salvatore’s for any wedding/rehearsal dinner or event! It will always hold a special place in our heart and we cannot thank the staff enough for giving us the experience we both wanted!

Everything about Salvatore's was perfect for our wedding. The space is gorgeous and we liked that it's a historic building. We got so many comments about how beautiful it was and how delicious the food was! Marco worked so hard to make everything perfect, including answering my many questions beforehand. You could tell he really wanted our night to go perfectly, and it did! All of the night-of staff were amazing & attentive as well. We loved that the space is split between dinner tables & dance floor, which encouraged people to dance after dinner. I could not recommend having your wedding at Salvatore's enough!

Mike and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore’s on March 12, 2022. It was sheer perfection. Marco and Renata made it happen. Because of them, we did not have to hire a day of wedding planner. They took care of every detail. Throughout the entire planning of the wedding, they were available to answer questions, meet with us, make suggestions and changes as needed. Mike and I had a small, intimate “old school” wedding. Between all the white flowers and candlelight; seating arrangement; Frank Sinatra vibe music, family photographs, and speeches, the warmth of our wedding was palpable. The food was great. Ask any one of our guests. The open bar met everyone’s expectations. Wine and martinis were flowing. The late night snacks were a fun surprise for our guests. The servers were so professional, yet friendly. We cannot say enough about Salvatore’s and all the work Marco and Renata put into our wedding . After the wedding, one of the male guests gave Mike and I a call to let us know how much he and his wife enjoyed our wedding. He told us he had attended weddings that probably cost half a million dollars, but they did not even come close to the warmth and love he felt at our wedding. He couldn’t believe the attention to detail and how much fun everyone was having. And even though he didn’t know many people there, Salvatore’s atmosphere and setup made it easy to mingle. In the future, we hope to have another event at Salvatore’s. It is a hidden gem!

Wow! We cannot say enough about our experience with Salvatore’s! From the moment we stepped into the venue we were in love with the ambiance, with the history and with the vibe. It was made only better by the care and guidance we received from Marco & Renata in planning the wedding. They were patient and helpful from day one until we said our goodbyes at the end of then reception. Our guests raved about the food and the variety of drinks they were able to order from the open bar. The room flip from ceremony to reception was seamless and all of our vendors loved working with their team! Will recommend over and over again!

My husband and I could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our dream wedding. Salvatore’s is beautiful: the best of the best! Renata and Marco are some of the nicest, most accommodating people you’ll ever meet. They were beyond helpful, patient, thoughtful, and selfless. Marco and Renata’s quick accommodations due to changes in our family’s health will never be forgotten. They even made sure to save us some appetizers and tiramisu! They made sure we had everything we needed, throughout our whole wedding planning journey and of course the day of! They were so responsive to our emails and phone calls. We truly couldn’t be happier. The food and service was out of this world. We received tons of compliments about Salvatore’s from our guests. Salvatore’s is a hidden gem!

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Salvatore's in November '21 and it was the best decision. The venue is beautiful and in a great location. We had about 140 guests and there was plenty of space for everyone. Our guests loved all of the food options that we chose.The staff was incredibly helpful leading up to the event. Marco was always available to talk if we had questions as we were planning . Everything ran so smoothly on the day of the wedding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything.Overall, I would recommend Salvatore's to anyone planning a wedding because of the professionalism of the staff, quality of the food, and the timelessness of the venue.

We had our ceremony and reception at Salvatore's, and we are so happy that we did! Our guests raved about how good the food was, especially the tiramisu! The venue itself is so beautiful, we loved the old school charm of this place. We added some flowers and candles, but this venue is so gorgeous and simple you won't need much. We worked with Marco while planning our wedding and he was amazing! They were great about communication, and Marco was always so responsive to my frantic emails. The room flip from the ceremony to the dinner was so seamless, and the staff from Salvatore's made sure the entire night was amazing! Our wedding was so incredible, and we are so happy we went with Salvatore's!

We had our wedding reception at Salvatore's and could not have asked for a better wedding day! The Venue was effortlessly elegant. The décor is classic and beautiful without needing to go too crazy on flowers. The food is amazing and our guests still rave about the tiramisu they had for dessert. The dance floor is huge and was large enough for a live band.Equally as important as the wedding day, the planning process at Salvatore's was stress free. Because Salvatore's is a full service venue, you do not need to separately book a caterer and tables/chairs, etc. We worked directly with Marco and Sherife throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to keep us updated on the latest Covid protocols. There were no surprise fees - all of the expected costs were outlined very well in the contract and we were able to stay on budget. We did not have a wedding coordinator. On the day of our wedding, Marco, Sherife, and the Salvatore's staff worked incredibly well with all our vendors. They made sure the evening went perfect! Thank you so much, Marco and Sherife!

The venue is so beautiful, intimate and classic. The staff too are so helpful that beyond our expectations. We were debating if we wanted the day of coordinator, and we didn't get one in the end, but the wedding turned out perfectly with Marco and Renata's professional and responsive coordination and assistances. We feel lucky that we picked the great venue and very thankful to all the staff.

My wife and I recently got married at Salvatore's and (I know I'm biased, but) it was was the best wedding I've ever been to. People kept commenting on how beautiful the space was, the food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were all so kind and helpful.Back when we were first searching for a venue, Salvatore's was the clear choice. The moment we walked in, we fell in love with the ambiance. Marco was so helpful and professional throughout the process and went out of his way to make sure we had the wedding we dreamed of.If I could give a sixth star, I would. Tens across the board. Anyone looking for a venue with personality and class shouldn't pass Salvatore's by.

My husband and I got engaged during the pandemic so it was tough to plan around unknowns - COVID regulations, venue limitations, etc. We kept that in mind when we toured venues. I found Salvatore's on Here Comes the Bride, but have never heard of it and didn't expect to like it so much before we toured. Right away, we really liked the old school Chicago vibes - the checkered floors in the front hall, the grand piano and the dark walnut walls - and Marco was very straightforward with us when we did our initial walkthrough. We also really liked that the venue offered everything onsite - food and beverage etc. so less vendors to think through and coordinate.Throughout planning, Marco was very responsive to all our questions via email, text and calls. Marco was flexible and accommodating when we chatted through various changes and add ons - offering our signature cocktail during cocktail hour, adding cognac to our beverage list, prorating late night food options, etc. He was always willing to chat through options and I appreciated that very much.We got really great feedback on the day-of food - the apps - shrimp w/ the aioli, the stuffed mushroom caps, the prosciutto phyllo cup and the salmon potato cake were delicious. For dinner, we did the vodka pasta, the chicken vesuvio and the filet mignon and feedback was very positive. Service was attentive throughout the day - never a long line at the bar and the servers for our sweetheart table were so attentive. Would highly recommend Salvatore's and special shout out to Marco and his team!

I have so many great things to say about Salvatores! 1. The staff was wonderful. We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid and they made this process so easy. Marco was quick to respond to all my questions leading up to the wedding2. The venue looks so classy and old school. My husband and I did not want to spend a lot of effort or time decorating for our wedding so this place was literally perfect for us. Not to mention they redid the outdoor area and from the pictures it looked so cute. I’ll admit I did not make it out there because I was dancing all night!3. Dancing floor was unexpectedly better than a ballroom style dance floor. My main concern before I booked this venue is that the dance floor is in a separate room off of the dining room. It actually was so much better this way. Everyone was asked to come to the dance floor to watch our first dance then went we went straight into dancing and never stopped. Having the bar in the same room was perfect because everyone just stayed on the dance floor4. This place is a well oiled machine. We chose every vendor off of salvatores preferred vendor list and so happy we did that. All of our vendors were use to working with Marco and it made our wedding day so easy and smooth5. Size of the venue was perfect. We had about 156 people and it did not feel crowded at all. We were planning on having more guests and I think it still would have felt great with another 30-40 guests. It feels much bigger when you are in there. The pictures do not do it justiceThank you Salvatores for such a great wedding!!

When me and my husband got engaged in September 2019, we had our hearts set to wed in the same city that we met. With an important date set on September 13, 2020, we reserved our venue with Salvatore's. From the first meeting, we already knew that this is the place for us to celebrate our nuptials with our family. The pricing was reasonable and a hidden gem in a city that can become quite unaffordable when it comes to city weddings.The COVID-19 hit, and everyone, including my family and vendors, scrambled to adapt with the ever changing rules to keep everyone safe while still enjoying the wedding. I cannot begin to say how grateful I am for this venue and their dedicated team in ensuring that this wedding go off without a hitch. They adapted and were flexible with the changes, and priced everything reasonably despite the insanity of planning a 2020 COVID-19 wedding. They managed to make this wedding a memorable one, defined more than the restrictions of the pandemic. Thank you so much for indulging and helping us make our wedding as amazing as we experienced it.

Salvatore's was a great place to have our wedding. The manager, Marco, was responsive and helped meet our needs for our 140 person wedding. It was really nice to have our ceremony and reception in the same place and having a package that included drinks and food was really helpful. We heard over and over again how great the food was and the space had an old-school, vintage charm that my fiance and I loved. We thought that for having a wedding in this area, the price per plate was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend having a wedding at Salvatore's!

We had our wedding reception at Salvatore's on 6/5/21. We had the best time! Throughout the planning process, Marco the GM was super responsive and helpful in answering our questions and requests. He is a pro! Our wedding tasting was fun - for our dishes, we chose penne with vodka sauce, tortellini, and chicken vesuvio - plus the tiramisu for dessert, yum! Our guests are raving about the delicious food, the great food/drink service, and how much they loved the venue. Salvatore's has timeless charm and plenty of space for our 100 guests. It was an awesome value and with all the food and drink served in-house, it streamlined the planning process significantly. We would highly recommend Salvatore's to any couple looking for their perfect wedding venue. 10 out of 10!

When we were looking for wedding venues back in 2019, our first stop was Salvatore’s. It’s a classic events place right in the heart of Lincoln Park in Chicago. We loved the place right away. We went to look at another venue just for the sake of checking another place but Salvatore’s had our hearts already the very first time we walked in. We booked them for May 17, 2020 but then Covid happened. We are just so happy that after a year of postponing our original wedding plans, we finally got married at Salvatore’s last weekend. It was a smaller and more intimate than what we had originally planned but we loved everything that Salvatore’s had done to make our wedding day a very special and memorable one. It was all we had ever imagined and so much more! We would like to thank Marco, the General Manager of Salvatore’s for going above and beyond to make our special day run so smoothly.Marco is very organized, such a professional, and responds to inquiries in a very timely manner.We highly recommend Salvatore’s!

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in October - right in the midst of the COVID-19 rollbacks and chaos. Salvatores handled this craziness with compassion and professionalism. While we were obviously greatly limited due to state and city regulations, we had to downsize our guest list from 150+ to under 50, Salvatore's was able to handle this with ease and gave us lots of flexibility. Ultimately, our wedding, despite being smaller than expected, still felt exactly like we had imagined. The service and food were amazing (our guests still talk to us about it!). The venue is charming and classic Chicago and Marco and Sherife are there to answer your questions and are great at coming up with on the fly solutions to these crazy times. If you are looking to have a huge wedding when we're able to do so again or want to have an intimate (and safe!) wedding, they can handle it! 5 of 5 recommend.

Suzi and Lauran were so responsive to our questions and concerns, and they worked with us to make our wedding day so memorable. Whether it was helping us coordinate and arrange our guest's thank you gifts for or jumping in to help bustle my dress after the ceremony they went above and beyond to help and accommodate my wife and I. Our guests also still comment about how the food at Salvatores has been some of the best food they've ever eaten at a wedding. And the service from the waiters and bartenders was unparalleled. They always came by to refill our glasses whenever we were caught up in conversations, and there was no shortage of opportunity for us to enjoy the food ourselves.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Salvatore's this fall and I am still getting compliments about how fabulous our wedding was. It is an absolutely beautiful venue, with vintage charm that you really can't find anywhere else in the city. The coordinators at the venue, Suzi and Lauran were extremely professional, responsive, patient and so fun to work with. They really made sure they understood our vision and helped us every step of the way. I must have sent them 100 emails during the planning process and everything was always answered quickly. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, every dish was perfect and our guests raved about it all night - especially the vodka pasta and the tiramisu. I wish I could go back and eat there right now. The tasting was so fun - make sure you come hungry! The drinks and the service were outstanding - they were all so professional kind to all 200 of our guests. People were drinking martini's, manhattans and all kinds of specialty drinks (which are included in your package). The venue also had a super cute patio that made for the perfect getaway space during the evening - although the dance floor was the place to be! The garden is perfect for some intimate bride and groom shots as well. If you are considering a wedding in Chicago, don't wait - book Salvatores now, you won't regret it.

Picking Salvatore’s as our wedding reception venue was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process, and we couldn’t be happier that we did! Suzi and Lauran were amazing to work with! They had great communication and were always very responsive in any questions we had along the way leading up to the big day. They had great recommendations which helped in making decisions. We felt so comfortable knowing they were on top of everything and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Salvatore’s is absolutely beautiful, and had the romantic, intimate, and elegant look and feel that we wanted. We wanted to get married in Chicago, but loved how Salvatore’s is on a quiet, tree-lined street in Lincoln Park. The staff was outstanding on the day of, and the service was impeccable. One of our favorite parts as well as the guests, was how delicious the food is! The tiramisu is also outstanding, and we highly recommend doing that for the dessert. Their vendor recommendations were extremely helpful as well, and we enjoyed that they had great relationships with each one which made things easy for the big day. My husband and I had a wedding at Salvatore’s this summer. We highly recommend this venue! Suzi and Lauran were an absolute pleasure to work with - very responsive, patient, organized and helpful. They made the entire planning process easy for us. The venue itself is elegant, romantic, and very spacious. There is an option to have dinner and dancing in separate rooms, which we loved, as some of our guests could have a conversation while others had fun on the dance floor. There is also a gorgeous patio, which is ideal for pictures. The food was absolutely delicious - we chose salmon, steak, chicken and pasta. Each entree was prepared perfectly. We got a lot of compliments on the food. Also, Salvatore’s tiramisu is out of this world! Salvatore’s was a perfect venue for us! Thank you, Suzi and Lauran, for an amazing experience!

Our decision to choose Salvatore’s as our wedding location was the best decision we have made ( aside from saying “I do!” of course). From beginning to end, Lauran and Suzi were very helpful in the planning process. They took the time to field our emails, phone calls and in person meetings to ensure we felt comfortable. On the day of they were instrumental in making sure the day went smoothly. In addition to the amazing staff, Salvatore’s itself was a dream venue. After doing extensive research it because clear for the value they were providing, the price was unbeatable. We received amazing reviews from our guests who raved about the food and there was never a line to get the bar. Having our reception at Salvatore’s was one of the best decisions we made in our entire planning process!My husband and I were in an unusual situation, we live in TX but got married in Chicago. We had my parents go and view the space, and they fell in love instantly. They face timed us and we knew that was it, so they signed before we even saw it in person!The layout of the space is perfectly different from most wedding venues you’ll find. Having the dance floor in a different room from the tables provided nice breaks for some of our older guests, or even those who just wanted a moment to step away from the party. The outdoor space is a nice addition to the already wonderful venue. The location is great, Lincoln Park is a fabulous place to get married- especially in the fall when the streets outside are STUNNING. Plus the valet parking made it extremely easy for our guests who drove.Lauran and Suzi are wonderful to work with from the start. They always answered my (numerous) emails and questions promptly, and eased so many of my worries when it came to logistics, timing, food, whatever. Having Lauran there the day of the event as well put us at ease as we knew she’d keep things moving and under control. The rest of the staff is polite, fast, and we enjoyed working with every single person we interacted with. The food... it's phenomenal. We had such a hard time deciding what options to pick because everything was so good. So many of our guests commented on how good everything was. Definitely recommend the tiramisu, we did that and had a small cake brought in from Sweet Mandy B's to cut. Not only was it delicious, but everything is sourced from Salvatore’s so you don’t have to worry about having ANYTHING, which was so crucial for us when it came to logistics. Both bars were very well stocked, and the bartenders were quick. As the bride, I didn't have to worry about a single thing not being done exactly the way we had asked or decided.Overall I have nothing but good things to say about Salvatore’s. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants a little extra magic on their wedding day.

Elegant.Salvatore’s totally exceeded our expectations and we cannot recommend it highly enough!From the moment we first met with Suzi we felt a weight lift & excitement forming! Suzi graciously led us through the entire process and not once did we feel rushed, pushed or overwhelmed. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. The layout superb. The menu choices were overwhelming. (All so good it was difficult to choose!)The tasting was spectacular and the food did not disappoint!!! We were easily led through each and every detail of the wedding event, feeling that all will be well! And, even then, when the evening finally arrived, we were blown away by the effortless perfection as we witnessed our event unfold.Suzi’s attention to detail is amazing! She handled the inevitable last minute changes with such grace and ease. Both her and Lauran continually kept us informed and even helped with non-venue suggestions! Suzi’s recommendations for florist, DJ, bakery, and all else were all absolutely wonderful! Our guests were so impressed! Months after the event, they still talk about how beautiful it was and how delicious the food was!!! Suzi, Lauran and all the staff were as attentive at the wedding as they were throughout the planning process, which gave us the time to actually enjoy what we were there to celebrate! We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to celebrate this happy event and are forever grateful for this perfect memory!

Choosing Salvatore's for our July wedding was by far the best decision we made- This place is incredible- classic and elegant, but also intimate and inviting. The rooms are seriously beautiful on their own, but come alive when you add your own personal touches. The staff- There are honestly no words for amazing Suzi and Lauran were in the lead up and execution of our wedding. They went above and beyond and thanks to them our wedding was everything we wanted; the set up was perfect, and it was so stress free and seamless - they are wonderful! The entire staff has such a reassuring presence, they have everything organized to perfection, and just did a remarkable job. The best part of this venue is that I didn't have to worry. I trusted their judgment on literally everything- Me not being a planner was completely overwhelmed with the details of planning the day- Salvatore's basically took the lead and allowed me to be as involved as much (or as little) as I wanted to be. They were available to answer our band's questions, show the venue to our photographer, and even made sure to order a local Kansas City beer for the groom. Oh and I forgot to mention- the food! Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was. Everything from ceremony start times, to coordinating the toasts, first dances, and cake cutting- They know what they are doing- and on your wedding day the last thing your want to worry about is the details. They will think of everything before you- make sure they know what you want and execute that vision flawlessly. We are so grateful- highly recommend.

We cannot recommend this venue and team enough!In short, this is the best value for a beautiful venue, IMPECCABLE service, and amazing food.We were able to plan our entire wedding start to finish in under 6 months thanks to Salvatore's. This historic venue is absolutely gorgeous and the service from their team was amazing. Suzi and Lauran made the entire planning process unbelievably easy and the day of was seamless and perfect. We knew planning a wedding in less than 6 months and without a planner was going to be crazy, but it really wasn't with Salvatore's. They are seasoned veterans in the wedding world with so much great advice to help you create the best day. And they are also totally open to accommodating whatever your vision is. On top of the amazing service and beautiful venue, the food was incredible and the value is unbeatable in Chicago, especially Lincoln Park. Do yourself a favor and book here. My husband and I actually got to enjoy our wedding day because every single detail was managed perfectly by the Salvatore's team. They created a perfect day for us and our guests. You should definitely get married at Salvatore's!My husband and I knew that we wanted to get married in the city of Chicago and we are so happy we found Salvatore's! We fell in love with its classic beauty, old school Chicago vibe, and beautiful surroundings (the patio, courtyard, tree-lined street, and beautiful Lincoln Park neighborhood) and it was actually a reasonably-priced option in the city, especially compared to other choices out there. Oh, and all the food was DELICIOUS (get the cheesy tortellini and the tiramisu!), the dance floor was huge, and the service and bartenders were so amazing that none of our 155 guests ever had to wait for a drink (and the drinks, especially our specialty drinks, were delicious and the staff was so accommodating of our requests!). No waiting in lines at Salvatore's!Suzi and Lauran were also awesome to work with! They were incredibly fast responding to emails and never seemed frustrated by all my questions. They were super accommodating with when we could drop off/pick-up our decor, let us visit the venue many times, accommodated food allergy requests, and so much more. Because of their help, we didn't feel we needed a day-of-coordinator (that said, if you're very nitpicky about things, I might get a day-of coordinator or at least be really specific with how you want things set up and to run on the day-of with Suzi and Lauran - they are super detail oriented and delivered on all our requests, but you have to provide them with those details!)One big question I had when choosing Salvatore's was the layout. I knew I wanted a non-traditional wedding venue but was really worried about having the dinner in a separate room as the dancing. Turns out there was nothing to be worried about - because the dancing happened in a separate room (with tables for sitting and its own bar), the dance floor was packed all night. We had such a fun night.One other thing to note - we had 155 people and the place felt perfectly full. I think it would be too tight if you expect more than 174 guests (don't forget, there's always drop-off from your original invite list). But this is something to keep in mind - if you have a 200 person wedding, this might not be the space for you!I'm smiling so big just thinking about the amazing wedding day we had at Salvatore's thanks to Suzi, Lauran, and the amazing Salvatore's staff. I would recommend Salvatore's to others in a heartbeat!

My husband and I had our wedding at Salvatore’s on May 18, 2019. It’s a hidden gem in Lincoln Park and we are so happy we stumbled upon it! The venue is classic and elegant. It fit our 140 guests perfectly. The price is just incredible for a downtown Chicago wedding. We loved that we paid one price for everything and didn’t have to worry about upgrading so many details because everything that comes with Salvatore’s is top notch. Suzi and Lauran were amazing to work with! From the very beginning they are so helpful with every little detail and they truly know their stuff. Our favorite part by far was the food! My favorite part of wedding planning was easily the tasting. We did family style with caesar salad, two pastas and one chicken dish. Our guests still haven’t stopped talking about how delicious all of the food was and they were so happy they got to try a little bit of everything. I was so happy to hear that we got a wedding cake or tiramisu included too, but the tiramisu is hands down the best we’ve ever had! The service during dinner was exceptional. The bar selection was perfect and came with many options in beer, wine and liquors. The bartenders were outstanding and no one waited long for a drink. We loved having two bars with one removed from the dance floor for guests who needed a quick break from dancing too. Our wedding was an unforgettable night and we are so happy we had it at Salvatore’s!

Salvatore's and their entire team are incredible. For starters, they are the most transparent of any other venue we visited/heard of regarding cost. Second, the space is beautiful and on a tree-lined street in Lincoln Park. My husband is from New Jersey and a lot of his family had never been to Chicago and they LOVED the neighborhood feel. The venue is perfect for a romantic, intimate feel. We received so much positive feedback from our guests about the space, but most of all, the food! The food exceeded our expectations and so did the attentive waitstaff. We're so glad we chose a venue like this over a hotel or banquet hall. It had an old Chicago vibe, but had enough of a blank canvas to create your own vision.Lauran was helpful throughout the process and great with advice and recommendations. She even met with us to customize our floor plan and set up. Thank you, Lauran! You really made this process easier. Lauran and Suzi were always very responsive via email and willing to help. They even held some of our things after the wedding for us. Our guests had a great time, but my only advice is to use the directions available on the Salvatore's website and stress them to your guests. Google maps and GPS has the destination taking you to the alley, so many friends who used a rideshare were dropped off in the alley and had to walk a block in the rain. I knew this ahead of time and added it to our website and invitations, but I'd go an extra step and make an announcement after the ceremony or send out a text. Other than that, it was a perfect space for our wedding! I wish we could do it all over again :)

I'm delayed in writing this review, but I can't say enough about Salvatore's. My husband and I had a long engagement (3 years) and we found Salvatore's a full 2 years ahead of our wedding date! The coordinators were so patient with all of our questions, multiple tastings, and were a HUGE help on the day of. The week leading up to our wedding brought so many unexpected moments of chaos (think car breaking down, flower deliveries cancelled, etc) and Suzi and Lauran made sure our day was delivered flawlessly. Also, they were so reasonable and accommodating it's almost unbelievable.To this day, almost 5 months later, our guests remember how good the food was, how great the service was and how beautiful the venue looked. The ONLY, SINGLE piece of advice I would leave this crew with is that there were a few moments of confusion about when we could drop off decor the day of the wedding, but this didn't cause any problems for us. I would chose Salvatore's again and again!! :)

They respond quickly to emails, are always there to answer questions, and go above and beyond on the day of. The venue is beautiful. It has an outdoor patio that our guests really enjoyed and it is nicely decorated with accent lighting. The food is AMAZING. This is the reason why we picked Salvatore’s and our guests raved about it. The appetizers are endless and it was easy to find the servers during cocktail hour. There are 2 bars, which made it simple to get drinks. You are able to bring in outside desserts, upon approval, which allowed us to personalize our dessert table with personal favorites. I have nothing bad to say. If we could change one thing, we would have extended our night because we had such a fabulous time. One thing that Salvatore’s didn’t have was a bridal suite. This was not an issue for us as we were able to use their personal (locked) office to keep our things in. They also closed the doors to the bar in the back when we arrived so we could all relax and have drinks as a bridal party before the night got started. I am so thankful that we found this gem and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a city wedding, with amazing food, at an extremely reasonable price, ran by 2 amazing ladies!!!

The venue was absolutely perfect! The decor is perfect, elegant and very classy. Lauran & Suzi were so easy to work with and extremely helpful during the wedding planning process. Most importantly the food is out of this world!!! My guests are still raving about the vodka sauce pasta - it's a must! I would recommend this venue to anyone!!

I truly cannot say enough great things about this venue and their staff. Suzi and Lauran made our special day stress-free and it turned out to be the perfect. They seemed to anticipate every need before we even realized it ourselves from bustling my dress, to arranging the flowers, to answering questions from the guests, they were there to help. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and the atmosphere. If we had to do it all over again, there is no doubt that we would pick Salvatore's again.

Absolutely perfect wedding venue!!! We are from Colorado and worked with Lauran for our wedding. She is amazing! She kept in constant communication with us over the several months leading up to our wedding. Since we were out of state we had to ship special items to the venue and Lauran made sure to take care of them. She made sure everything was set up perfectly the day of. We can't even express how happy we are with Salvatore's and Lauran's service. Our guests (about 75) loved the food and the venue. It was perfect and we highly recommend!!!

Advertised as handicap accessible on The Knot site and wheelchair accessible on Here Comes the Guide site, however Salvatore’s confirmed their restroom door measures only 30 inches wide...accessible doors should provide at least 32 inches of clear width according to Americans with Disabilities Act standards. Taking a trip to visit the venue was a waste of our time and I hope this review helps to inform other couples who have loved ones in wheelchairs. A beautiful place, but extremely disappointing to learn Salvatore’s can’t include all members of society.

After marrying my husband, choosing Salvatores for our reception venue was the best decision I have ever made! From the very first meeting, Suzi and Lauren were clear about everything. Having looked at other places it was a breath of fresh air to have everything laid out plain and simple. There were no hidden fees or charges that they snuck up on us later and suzi and lauren took the time throughout the entire wedding process to answer any questions we had. Now to the fun stuff! So yes, Salvatores was great about the business side of the wedding planning process but can we talk about how everything else at Salavtores is above and beyond perfect! The space at Salvatores is vintage chicago meets glamour. Its a beautiful venue inside and out! From the black and white tiles in the entryway to the two grand pianos. to how the space looks lit with candles, Salvatores is a hidden gem! It is located in the middle of lincoln park but being hidden on a side street gives you the seclusion you would want while still having a big city wedding. Now, the food...the food! If you choose Salvatores (which you should!) if you talk to anyone who has been at an event there, the first thing they will say to you is how good the food is! It is seriously soooo good! People remember what you feed them and I guarantee that everyone will love what Salvatores serves. They also accommodate gluten free, food allergies and vegetarians. The service is also impeccable. Everyone was so kind and accommodating to all our guest and no one went hungry or thirsty. Now the best part if you choose Salvatores, Suzi and Lauren! They are there for you to help calm down wedding planning nerves.They answered all our question quickly and they helped coordinate all our wedding day needs. They set up the room perfectly and Lauren the entire night made sure everything ran smoothly. We will never forget our wedding and Salvatores was such a huge part of that and we can never thank them enough!

My husband and I could not be happier that we chose Salvatore’s for our wedding. From the moment we walked into the venue, we knew we had found a beautiful and unique space that would be a perfect fit for our big day.By answering questions in a timely and professional manner, offering great recommendations, and all around being helpful and supportive, Suzi and Lauran were wonderful people to work with during the planning process. We always felt like we were in good hands, especially after meeting with them a few weeks before the wedding to go over final preparations. On the day of the wedding, we were confident that everything would be taken care of in regards to the vendors, meals, and decorations, and Suzi even helped bustle my dress during cocktail hour! After the celebration, all of our gifts were already packed up and we were able to leave with our guests to continue the party!We also cannot say enough good things about the food – the meals were delicious with large portions, which kept our guests full for the entire evening. We ended up choosing Salvatore’s tiramisu over a standard wedding cake because we were blown away by how amazing it tasted. The children that attended were well taken care of in terms of easy food choices, being served before the adults, and given a cute ice scream sundae after the meal. And the bartenders worked hard all night to successfully attend to the needs of almost two hundred guests!Between the vintage, Old Hollywood glamour ambiance, perfect location in the heart of Lincoln Park, unbelievable food that our guests are still raving about, and the ease of working with Suzi and Lauran, we would highly recommend Salvatore’s to anyone. Thank you for an unforgettable night!

Salvatore's is a great find for a city wedding. They take care of dinner, drink, cake, basic decor, table cards and more to help make the biggest decision of your wedding planning (choosing where to get married) as easy as possible. Not to mention, Lauran and Suzi are incredibly helpful coordinators who are very responsive throughout the wedding planning process and efficient the day of the event. When jumping onto the web in search of a reception venue in Chicago, you've probably found there are A LOT of choices out there. But clearly, Salvatore's caught your eye (because you're reading this!) and for a good reason. You will not regret looking into this lovely venue and will CERTAINLY not regret booking your event with the amazing team there. Trust me.When starting the hunt for a wedding reception venue, my now-husband and I had just a few guidelines when searching: the location had to be right, the space had to be unique, and the food had to be great. Not only did Salvatore's fit all of these points, it exceeded our wants a hundred times over.Location & Look: Our first visit to the venue we really, really liked it. Blocks from the lake in Lincoln Park, a mile from our home AND our church. Easy. We were hoping for something not too big, not small, cozy but with an old-time elegance (go back to those photos again!) The decor speaks for itself, and to be honest we didn't want a space where we would have to \"start over\" with decor, and Salvatore's was perfect for us. Food: In my circle of friends a common theme of wedding food is \"The tasting was amazing but the day of was just okay...\" NOT the case at all with Salvatore's. Everything myself, my hubs, our families, and guests enjoyed throughout our experience was delicious. Cooked properly, served at the proper temperature, attractive (important!). If Salvatore's held normal dinner hours I'm pretty sure we would have been back within weeks of our reception to enjoy their food. The drink selection was great too. Not one complaint at all, only rave reviews. NOTE- we had a few dietary restrictions/requests (myself included) and all were handled perfectly. One last and very important part of our planning process and the day-of guidance that definitely made the whole entire experience fabulous - the staff at Salvatore's. From day one Suzi and Lauran answered my countless emails, always welcomed me to come by just to revisit the space while planning, and took control of everything the night-of in a way that really put us and our guests at ease. All details were attended to, any situations were taken care of, all stresses abated. All in all, we owe a very large bit of the success of the event to them. And let's not forget the great service staff! One of the best compliments we received about the reception came from a friend. She said her favorite wedding overall was her own, however, that changed when she attended ours. I think that says enough!

The best!!! We had our wedding here in October and it was amazing. Everything went off without a hitch, the food was fantastic, and the service was top notch. The entire staff & bartenders went above and beyond. At one point in the night, the bartender noticed my wine glass was near empty, and had remembered my order and brought me a new glass without me even asking. Just phenomenal service!! Our guests were all raving about our venue and how great of a time they had and it was in large part to the staff at Salvatore's. Suzi & Lauran were amazing to work with and super detail oriented, highly recommend!

We just loved Salvatore's from the moment we walked in. We had our wedding of about 150 here and could not have received more compliments. Suzi and Lauran are so wonderful to work with by being prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and --vitally for wedding planning--patient. The appetizers and entrees are absolutely delicious, and the servers and bartenders are swift and attentive. The venue is ornately classic --therefore all your decorations are just bonus. We're so thankful that we had our big day here and would make the same decision today.

In a word: magical. We had the perfect wedding at Salvatore's! Suzi and Lauran are dedicated professionals who were a pleasure to work with. Gorgeous venue, delicious food, and a beautiful evening. We had a modest budget but were impressed with how inclusive Salvatore's is and with options for Fri-Sun weddings, it made it easy to have the wedding we wanted at a price we could afford. This place is truly a hidden gem! Food was delicious and impressed my big Italian family. (The tasting was almost as much fun as the wedding!) Decor inside had that Old Hollywood glamour that I was looking for. (I especially love the checkered floor, gilded mirrors, and string-lit patio!)I highly recommend Salvatore's for your wedding or next major event.

We could not have been happier with our Salvatore’s experience for our wedding in November 2017. From initial emails and meetings with the staff, to communication leading up to the wedding day, to the reception itself, the staff was always prompt, professional and welcoming. Choosing Salvatore’s was the single best decision we made in the wedding process. Their suggestions for other vendors led us to our DJ, florist and bakery, all of whom were also exceptional. Thanks to the experience and knowledge of the staff, We never felt any stress or concern about logistics related to our wedding reception. They were very flexible with our requests for decorating, and their advice throughout the planning was invaluable and helped create a reception we were able to enjoy every moment of. Since the wedding we have not stopped receiving comments about how incredible the food and service at Salvatore’s were. More than a dozen guests remarked that it was the best wedding food they ever had. The wait staff were professional, friendly and accommodating, and attended to all our guests’ needs and requests. We would not change a thing about our wedding day at Salvatore’s and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Salvatore’s in September 2017- and I cannot recommend this venue enough! Everything about the day was absolutely perfect, and we got to have our dream wedding in Chicago that we had imagined! We first discovered Salvatore’s because our friends got married there a few years back and we remember how much we loved the venue and that it was located in the heart of Lincoln Park (which is the area we love the most). So, when we got engaged and started the venue search- we went back to Salvatore’s and found they were the perfect fit for what we were looking for! Throughout the whole year of planning, from start to finish, Suzi and Lauran were absolutely amazing and helped me with everything! They helped suggest and recommend vendors, and also just helped with any general wedding planning questions I had (as I was so clueless)! I could call or email them with random questions all the time and they were so responsive and so helpful! And they were very honest with their opinions and suggestions and were not trying to benefit in any advice they provided, which I definitely appreciated. They also basically were ‘day-of planners’ and were there from the morning of the wedding day until the end of the wedding, helping setup and make sure everything ran smoothly. I walked into the venue and my breathe was taken away at how perfect everything looked! Not only were the venue itself and the planners amazing, but the food was SO good. Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything was (which is not something you typically hear at weddings). When we had our tasting- we tried everything off the menu, and it was the hardest decision to make because everything we tried was so good! And we had the homemade tiramisu served as dessert which I highly recommend!We could not have asked for a better experience with having our wedding reception at Salvatore’s! Working with them throughout the year of planning was great and stress-free (which is important!) You can tell that Suzi and Lauran genuinely want you to have the best wedding day and they do everything to help make that happen. It was the perfect venue to have our dream Chicago wedding at, and our guests still cannot stop talking about how amazing the reception was! I highly recommend this venue to all future Brides and Grooms!

We celebrated our wedding at Salvatore’s a couple months ago. If we had to go back in time and plan our wedding again from the beginning, we would choose Salvatore’s over and over again. The moment we stepped inside the venue, we knew it was the best spot to celebrate our special day. Every single thing about our reception was absolutely perfect, from the legitimately delicious food to the elegant dining room to the exceptional service provided by Lauran and Suzi. They were so easy to work with, extremely responsive, and more than helpful during our entire wedding planning process. We received so many compliments on the stunning venue. If you are looking to get married in Chicago, you really cannot do better than Salvatore’s, and I promise you will not regret your decision!!

My husband and I (still getting used to saying that!) just got married at Salvatore's in mid-September. It was a dream and our guests have been raving about the venue non-stop! If you're a newly engaged couple, here's a few highlights:1) It's PERFECT to have your both your ceremony and reception in the same space. It's also classic, old-timey Chicago flare with a very intimate, romantic feel. We started at 5pm, and extended the contract so we wrapped up at 11:30pm. We had about 150 guests and it fit this number perfectly. The ceremony space is beautifully set up, and then your guests can immediately transition to the cocktail room--from here the staff \"flips\" the ceremony space so it becomes the dinner reception. Brilliant! We had a lot of out-of-town family and friends who panic at navigating Chicago....problem solved. Once you arrive, you're there for the night. Valet was easy and utilized by many of our suburb friends. 2) Suzi and Lauran. You must have trust in your wedding coordinators. These women have it! They have done weddings big and small, and were spot-on their recommendations, communication, and follow-through. Most emails were responded to within hours. They were honest and forthcoming about expenses and helpful in their suggestions for décor, linens, menu, etc. They set up everything just as we discussed. The wedding day they made sure everything ran smoothly and I noticed a few extra touches here and there. Such an asset to the owners!! 3) The food! Y'all, the number one gripe I have is the same boring chicken at every wedding reception known to mankind. In contrast, Salvatore's has an amazingly delicious menu. Their tomato vodka cream sauce pasta and penne ricotta were heavenly. Every guest was a part of the clean plate club! Make sure you arrive hungry to the dinner menu tasting. We also got the late-night snack of grilled cheese and sliders...if you're having an open bar, this comes in handy for all your guests ;) 4) The dessert gets it's own line...get their homemade tiramisu ~ it's delicious! Such a fun alternative to wedding cake. At the insistence of the our Mothers, we did bring/cut a small 8\" round cake from Mariano's that cost $22. Again, Salvatore's handled all the set up for this. 5) Bar service was 100%. Champagne toast was flawless. Cocktails poured right and allll night. We did the premium open bar and many of guests ordered martinis, old fashions, etc. and the bartenders were pros. When we were at the tasting, they have you taste the dinner-service red/white wine to ensure it's up to your tastes, and we even requested a different pinot noir and they accommodated this without a problem. 6) Finally, I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout-out to our awesome wedding vendors, some of whom Suzi and Lauren personally recommended: DJ Chicago (they have worked with Salvatore's a million times, and knocked it out of the park), Flowers for Dreams, Frank Bielski was our pianist, and Hannah Persson photography. Utilize the beautiful piano for the music during the ceremony, you won't regret it. We would get married at Salvatore's again in a heartbeat. Happy wedding planning!!

Salvatore's was hands down the perfect wedding venue for me and my husband. Suzi and Lauran, the wedding coordinators, are timely, professional, and extremely organized. The best part of working with Suzi and Lauran was how truly kind and caring they are. They genuinely cared about us having the perfect day! Their list of preferred vendors was fantastic and incredibly helpful. The day of the wedding I was able to relax and enjoy. I had nothing to worry about. The venue itself is gorgeous and unique. There was plenty of space without the typical ballroom feeling. It felt very intimate and didn't require much decorating. The food was amazing- my guests are still raving! If you're looking for a beautiful, no-stress wedding, Salvatore's is your venue.

We had our wedding at Salvatore's in May 2017, and I don't even know where to begin singing their praises!We had a long, frustrating and exhausting wedding venue search, until we walked in to Salvatore's! It was honestly a breath of fresh air! We met with Suzi who walked us through everything, leaving no questions unanswered. After our tour, we could not stop beaming and before we even made it home, we emailed Suzi to reserve our date!From there everything was smooth sailing! They responded to every email quickly and thoroughly, there was no guess work or surprises. At one point I even asked \"this is too easy, whats the catch?!\

Salvatore’s is the best wedding venue in Chicago (HANDS DOWN)!I could NOT have been happier with Salvatore’s for our April 29th wedding! Suzi and Lauran were fabulous to work with! They were not only AMAZING on our wedding day – the entire wedding planning process, they were very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. It was POURING rain our entire wedding day – and they handled last minute adjustments to our schedule (due to the rain) with ease! They allowed our reception to start over an hour earlier and we moved our band from the outside to inside – They made me feel so much calmer knowing that the last minute adjustments were no big deal! SO accommodating! We brought decorations for the venue and they knew exactly how to arrange everything to make the venue look so amazingly special for our day (the venue doesn’t need much – because it is so special as is)! They also did a great job coordinating with the all the vendors. It is so nice to have a venue that can do it all (Food – Drinks – Venue). You don’t need rentals – they have tables – chairs – linens – wait staff – day of coordinators - ETC! The food was so delicious and they were accommodating to dietary restrictions some of our guests had. We upgraded some of our entrees due to the size of our wedding (125 guests). I recommend the upgraded dishes – because they are so delish! We also opted for the tiramisu – DO IT! You will never find a wedding cake as delicious as their homemade tiramisu. This venue is really such a hidden gem! It is located in the heart of Lincoln Park – on an adorable tree lined street. The venue itself is so so special – two bars and three large (and different feeling) rooms. The flow of the whole venue just really works so well. I would highly recommend Salvatore's as a wedding venue! I could not have been happier with my wedding here! Thank you so much to the Salvatore's team for making our special day so perfect (despite the rain)!

We had a great experience working with Salvatore's! We were incredibly impressed by how smoothly everything went with the drinks and dinner service. We had served appetizers and they were circulated really well during the cocktail hour, and dinner was fantastic. Wine glasses were consistently filled, courses came out at just the right times, and everyone had a blast! We really liked the space, having the dance floor and a big bar in one area and a little quieter bar/lounge area was really nice. The only thing I wished had been different was that our ceremony wasn't set up quite the way we wanted it--I think that was a result of the rehearsal being a little chaotic (ours was right before another scheduled event on Friday night) so we didn't do a great job communicating what we wanted to the coordinators. But, that was really a minor issue and I doubt anyone but my husband and I even realized. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering everything they included (drinks with dinner, served appetizers, dessert, etc)--we were really trying to do things on a budget and Salvatore's was a clear value winner, especially given that it's all done in house so there's no need to choose every little thing!All in all, we have no regrets about choosing Salvatore's and are very happy with how our wedding went!

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our July 9th wedding at Salvatore's! Suzi and Lauran were fabulous to work with! Throughout the wedding planning process, they were very responsive, accommodating, helpful and on top of everything. They also did a wonderful job preparing the venue for the wedding and coordinating with the all the vendors and setting everything up to ensure the wedding and reception went off without a hitch. Suzi, Lauran and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy and taken care of at the wedding, including my elderly mother who they set up a ramp for to make it easier for her to get around in the venue. The food was outstanding; our guests are still raving about it! With its convenient location, character and charm, the venue was ideal for our small wedding. The patio was set up beautifully for our wedding, and the courtyard area was perfect for taking pictures following the ceremony. It was also great that we had also had access to the bar and two reception rooms. I would highly recommend Salvatore's as a wedding venue! I could not have been happier with my wedding here! Thank you so much to the Salvatore’s team for making our special day so perfect!

Salvatore's was the most amazing venue and the best people! We had about 130 guests and that was the perfect size. Every detail was carried out to the T and the entire day was smooth with the help of Suzi and Lauren's expertise. Thank goodness for these two helping wrangle the wedding party and even helping me with little details that I forgot!! Also, I cannot say enough about how beautiful the venue was! It is an old classic Chicago vibe with lots of character and loved that we were not sharing the space with any other weddings. Plus, the food was fantastic and we received many compliments throughout the night. Everyone from the valet to the waiters/bartenders and of course, Suzi and Lauren, truly felt like a family and I felt that they also wanted this to be the best day for us.If I could give 6 stars I would, but you will not regret booking with Salvatore's!

Salvatore's was the perfect venue for our wedding and one of the best decisions we made planning it. As someone who works in the interior design field the ambiance of our wedding was very important to me. I am so happy we chose Salvatore's for our special day as not only is the space inviting and beautiful, but the service is flawless and the food is amazing. Throughout the planning phase Suzi and Lauran always promptly answered our numerous questions and tactfully provided professional guidance when needed. Many of our guests commented on how seamless our wedding was and that was truly in thanks to Salvatore's. They took care of everything so we were able to fully enjoy our wedding day. We would recommend them in a heartbeat.

When you walk into the venue you immediately get a feel of old Chicago. Suzie, the coordinator, is terrific. We did a Saturday afternoon wedding and chose the mimosa luncheon package and chose to do the beer & wine package after the cocktail hour. After a long search for a reception venue, we are glad we chose Salvatore's. Reasonably priced, beautiful bar/dance floor/dining area, and a great location on a beautiful side street in Lincoln Park. Food is also amazing, especially the chicken. All of our guests said it was their favorite wedding they have ever been to. Highly recommend choosing Salvatore's for your wedding!

We had a wonderful experience with Salvatore's, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to getting married in Chicago. Suzi and Amanda provided a lot of helpful information and planning prior to the wedding, and particularly during the last month beforehand, Suzi was very responsive and quick to answer all of our questions and concerns. Salvatore's partnership with Oak Mill Bakery also made the cake tasting and order process extremely easy.As for the venue itself, the building is beautiful inside and well maintained. Our guests had great things to say about all of the staff, and all of our vendors had worked with Salvatore's previously and had no issues.Finally, the food is fantastic, especially if you like Italian food. We had heard from others that in the past there were issues with gluten-free meals, but the staff at our reception was wonderful about making sure each our guest's dietary restrictions were observed and we didn't have any issues.

Salvatore's is by far is one of the best wedding venues in Chicago. My husband and I fell in love with the vintage and intimate atmosphere as soon as we layed eyes on this venue when we were searching for places in Chicago. We were planning the wedding from Houston and Suzi and Amanda made this process so easy. They were always willing to communicate with me and answered all my questions promptly down to the final days. The day of the wedding exceeding all of our expectations. Amanda and her crew helped set up all my decor, kept me up to date on everything without stressing me out, and made sure that my new husband and I were well taken care of the entire day. She even made our plates for us so we could enjoy the fantastic food. The brunch was amazing. The best French toast my husband and I have ever had! At the end of the wedding, she made sure all of our things were packed up! If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. The day was absolutely perfect! If you are looking for a wedding venue, please. Check out Salvatore's. You will not be disappointed. Best day ever !!

Salvatore's was the PERFECT place for my wedding! All of the staff, in particular the event coordinators suzi and Amanda, were terrific. On the day of the wedding all of our needs were met, the service was exceptional, and the food was Devine. The space looks incredible and the room flip was quick and painless. Suzi and Amanda were always one step ahead of everything and willing to help with just about everything! Suzi was even the one to busses my dress. I knew I was in good hands from the beginning. They were always accessible and would return emails within days of not hours. They made the planning process easy and painless. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting an amazing Chicago wedding!!!!

Salvatore's was perfect! It was the exact atmosphere we were looking for...old supper club/restaurant/classic. Suzi and Amanda were fantastic, they were able to answer any question I had, they were pros! The night went off without a hitch and Suzi was hands on all night. I really appreciated them being so professional, but at the same time making me feel special. They've been through hundreds of weddings, but still understood this was my special day and treated it that way. Highly recommend Salvatore's!

We wanted a wedding venue in the city that was full service and didn't require us to find our own caterer and service staff. We found Salvatore's after looking at several other restaurants and hotels and were so impressed with how much was included in our per person package for the price. We had also read some great reviews, and had a friend who got married here several years ago and spoke very highly of the experience. And we were not disappointed! Our wedding day could not have gone any better! We received so many compliments on the venue, the food, and the service. There were tons of passed appetizers during cocktail hour, and everyone was very impressed with dinner - we were even told by several people that the steak at our wedding was the best steak they'd had at any wedding ever. Amanda & Suzi were amazing during the planning process, answering all of my questions quickly. The day of, I knew everything would be taken care of because they were so organized. Amanda even helped to bustle my dress at least 10 times during the reception. I cannot recommend this venue enough. It was beautiful, so easy to deal with, and a great value for such a prime city location!

We held our May wedding at Salvatore's. Using them as a venue for our ceremony, dinner, and reception was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning! Working with Amanda and Suzi to plan the event was easy and stress free. I love that everything was bundled together so we didn't need to worry about having ice, or hiring bar tenders, or renting linens. The food was wonderful and we received many compliments on the venue. It was nice to be able to spread out across the dance floor, lobby, and tables during the evening for family members who needed a break from dancing or who wanted to socialize. We can't recommend it more highly.

Salvatore's ended up being a wonderful choice for our wedding venue. My husband to be and I thought we had found our venue, but they ended up falling through the day we were to sign the contract. I was not sure how I would find something classy, all-inclusive, and within our budget - but Salvatore's made it happen. So many items to comment on. Food is delicious, I don't think it's necessarily traditional wedding food, but we just had the standard chicken and pasta options, and people loved it, as well as commenting on how great the appetizers were. I think their tiramisu is to die for, and we served it instead of wedding cake. Venue is beautiful, and really stands on it's own. I am a lazy bride, and so my decor was limited because I did not want to have to create it/cart it around. I ended up having the staff set everything up, and when my MOH and MOB showed up at the venue expecting to have to make edits, it was beautiful and perfect - better than we could have done ourselves. Service is attentive, and everything day of went off without a hitch (I think - and that's all that matters, right!?). I would say the only small negatives were I had a couple of ideas I wanted to implement that got shot down - I am sure with good reason - but wish there were a couple of things that could have been a tiny bit different. This was more disappointing before the event than after, because in hindsight it all turned out great, and no changes were needed.

These guys rock! Thanks to Amanda and Suzi for being absolutely amazing. We highly recommend that anybody looking to host a wedding in Chicago consider Salvatore's. We had about 180 guests and the venue was excellent. Salvatore's food gives it an extra boost against some of its competitors, we HIGHLY recommend you offer the veal tortellini to guests as an option. It is unbelievable. Not your standard disappointing wedding food, that's for sure. Everything on the big day went as seamlessly as it possibly could have, and it's because the coordinators at the venue work tirelessly and are great at their job. Our guests rocked on the dance floor until the end of the night. The location of the venue is hard to beat too, in the middle of the Lincoln Park neighborhood surrounded by residences - this gives it a charm that suburban places simply can't touch. Affordable considering the location. Great location to walk to a bar on Clark Street afterwards for an afterparty! We also really liked the style of Salvatore's - it's old school classy, not tied up with any cheesy design. Simply beautiful. We highly recommend it!

I had my wedding here back in June and I can honestly say I still think about how great it was, people are still complimenting us on the food. It really is delicious! The atmosphere and charm is perfect! Amanda and Suzi were so easy to work with and so were their recommended vendors. They even sat with me to help me pick out my upgraded linens to match my flowers. I'm not one to be a hands on bride and this place made everything so simple! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for great food, a great atmosphere and a great party! Oh ya... And the best tiramisu ever!

We recently hosted our daughter's wedding and reception at Salvatore's. We chose them because of all the positive reviews we read, the location, the menu options and the fact that they would help us set up the day of, given that I am from out of state. We were not disappointed on any count. The convenience of being able to have the ceremony and reception in one place with so many options was invaluable to us. Amanda and Suzi were so helpful with setting up our table décor and allowing us to retrieve our things the following morning. The food was absolutely fantastic. We wanted a true Italian feel so we went with the family style pastas and chicken. Yes it is all true about the tortellini and the farfalle with vodka sauce! Courses were served promptly and hot! The tableware was spotless. Wait staff was efficient and so pleasant!. We had caprese pops, smoked salmon on potato pancakes, stuffed mushrooms passed, with a platter of the best calamari ever, at a table in the middle of the room during cocktail hour. It just kept coming! Our price included delicious Tiramisu so that we eliminated the wedding cake and everyone was much happier! Salvatore's is in the event business, and they have mastered it..which is exactly what you want. We looked at other venue options but none compared to the value, service and quality of food and bar service. The location is charming and the interior needs absolutely nothing but beautiful flowers and on that note, if you can, I would recommend ordering from Costco's bulk flowers and doing them yourselves. We were then able to give the arrangements to the staff the next day. The best part of all, is the wonderful compliments we have received from all of our guests. We chose a Friday evening, to save some money, but also to allow guests, most from out of state, to have the entire weekend to enjoy the city. Thank you to Salvatore's for making this special life event nothing short of perfect! It was absolutely fantastic!

I had my wedding this past August at Salvatore’s and it was perfect. You know when people say, “Something always goes wrong on your big day and to not let it get to you.” Well I can honestly say that NOTHING went wrong! The venue itself is beautiful and completely fit the romantic look I was going for. I loved that there were different areas for guest to party in. I wasn’t interested in a banquet hall wedding where everyone is just in one large room so if you’re looking for something different this is definitely the place. The food was amazing, especially the baked salmon and tiramisu (the best I’ve ever had!). We opted out of serving wedding cake and instead served tiramisu to our guests and people raved it. Suzi and Amanda are a pleasure to work with and handled all my requests. When researching venues it was important that the coordinators where there to help and we didn’t need to hire an additional wedding/ event planner. They helped choose and ordered the linens, they set up all our extra decorations and even worked with me on a signature drink. Plus, they have an amazing vendor list, I used their recommended DJ and florist, which made my entire wedding planning a breeze! All in all, this place is a Chicago gem! I can definitely see myself planning other events here. (they do anniversary dinners, birthday parties, etc…)

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore's in July 2015. I could not have chosen a better location. We sought a venue that was beautiful, romantic, served excellent food, and that was cost-effective. We found all of those qualities in Salvatore's. Suzi and Amanda were very easy to work with and were very patient with a bride that asked a LOT of questions. They were very accommodating in all aspects and our wedding day seriously went off with out a hitch. All of our vendors complimented us on our venue. Salvatore's allowed us to host our dream wedding, and I would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I had both our ceremony and reception at Salvatore's. It was wonderful. The day exceeded our expectations. Salvatore's has the main reception area, a second bar with more intimate seating and backyard patio. This worked out great for us. We had a band and so our older guests were able to sit in the back bar and the patio and have quiet conversations. The food was excellent and the bar options are very good. Amanda and Suzi were very flexible and helped us plan a perfect day. I highly recommend this venue.

I cannot say enough great things about Salvatore's as our wedding venue. From day one, they made planning fun and easy. Any idea I came up with, they valued and made work for our big day. Suzi and Amanda are so great to work with and truly know how make the reception amazing. The food was amazing and people are still commenting on how it was the best wedding food they ever had. We had about 200 people and everyone was comfortable and had a blast. They really enjoyed the separate rooms (patio/dancing) so they could dance and still mingle as they wished. Salvatore's truly made our dream wedding come true and we are so, so grateful. Don't hesitate, book now!!!
