We are so happy we went with the San Marino Club for our wedding venue. It was a gorgeous backdrop to our ceremony and reception. Working with Ron, Mary, and Lisa was wonderful. They helped us plan, and choose all details needed to make our day perfect. They were more than accommodating in the kitchen for food allergies as well. The chef went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best meal! the food was AMAZING!The quality of food was excellent and the service was top drawer. We loved our bartender, Jim, and all the service staff! They worked with all of our vendors and helped make on the spot decisions for us the day of wedding to make sure everything ran seamlessly. We highly recommend them for your wedding or next event!

We are so happy we went with the San Marino Club for our wedding venue. It was a gorgeous backdrop to our ceremony and reception. Working with Ron, Mary, and Lisa was wonderful. They helped us plan, and choose all details needed to make our day perfect. They were more than accommodating in the kitchen for food allergies as well. San Marino Club far exceeded all of my expectations. To be honest, I was on the fence when I first toured the venue. I had over a year and a half to think about my decision too which only made me more nervous. However, as my wedding date drew closer, Lisa and Mary and the staff at SMC quelled any worries I had. They were extremely responsive, very knowledgeable and they were willing to provide guidance regarding any topics/questions I had. I did all my own décor/arrangements and I planned the ceremony myself as well, so their guidance was so helpful in both regards. The day of our wedding came and everything came to together beautifully. The chairs, linens, atmosphere; everything was perfect. Now the food was the real star of the show; The biggest piece of feedback I received from guests was that the food was AMAZING. Some guests told me it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Overall, if you want a beautiful venue that is affordable/reasonably priced (The open bar was INCLUDED in price per plate!!), then SMC is the venue for you.

I am so glad that I had my wedding here! The venue is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the food was incredible. Mary and Lisa were both so helpful as our coordinators. I will say, there were details of the day that I didn’t think about as someone who had never planned a wedding before. Things like: what decor do I provide myself vs what does the venue offer? What meals are given to those with dietary restrictions? Does the venue set up centerpieces or do we need to ask a friend to do that for us? Those are all questions that I didn’t realize I even had until just a couple weeks before the wedding! I think it would have been super helpful if they had an FAQ of some sort that they could have given us when we first booked, so that we could have planned a little bit better. Despite that, our wedding was incredible and it was all thanks to the San Marino Club. We are so happy that we had our wedding here, and we recommend it to future couples!!

Lisa Allinder and the San Marino Club staff are amazing! Our wedding was rescheduled from last year due to Covid-19. I could not imagine working with any other venue in such trying times! They not only got us rescheduled but honored their prices that were given to us a year ago. I am so grateful for Lisa, she had put my mind at ease during this whole process and let’s just say my anxiety was pretty high! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We had to cancel our wedding due to Covid-19 and did not want to put our families and friends at risk. We did not want to reschedule with a different date later on because I didn’t know how long covid would last. Lisa and the other manager were so horrible to us. Lisa ignored my phone calls and emails.They are completely heartless and careless. They only cared about our money. I was so heartbroken having to cancel my wedding but I’m so glad that I won’t be having my wedding reception here anymore. Please do not support their business as I was treated so poorly here. Giving one star because 0 is not an option. I attended a wedding here- thank goodness we didn't do ours here! I would be so embarrassed to put all my friends and family in a position where they felt like they had to eat this food. It may look like a castle from the outside, but the slop they serve is what royalty might feed their pets... as a punishment. The drinks were very low-quality too. The servers had no interest in serving. I saw them take plates away from people who were still eating who just went to the bar. If you were not at your seat when they came around with the cake, you got none. They never set any out or offered it later. On top of that, I heard horror stories from the couple about dealing with the venue.

We had our reception at San Marino Club and everything from start to finish was amazing. As someone who will quickly send an email to a question in order not to forget, Brian at San Marino received a lot of emails from my husband and I in order to make our vision come to life. Brian was always very prompt in answering those emails and putting my mind at ease. We met with him about 1 week before the wedding to answer any final questions and to pick our menu and give our final count. He was very accommodating in that he asked what kind of alcohol we personally drink in order to have those bottles on hand for us. My husband and I also had staff members fill our plate at the reception in the buffet line so we wouldn't have to. It was those little things that really impressed us. Our guests raved about the food and premium bar and I had some guests tell me it was the best wedding food they ever tasted. We encountered some hiccups, like not being able to decorate the space until the day of, which I could then not be present for and was a huge stress. But overall our day was beautiful and I would recommend San Marino Club to anyone for their wedding.

We had a wonderfuk time at our reception at San Marino. They are organized and provided excellent service. Two reasons for only four stars:;First, there were no table numbers out on our guests tables. Luckily our DJ noticed before we let the masses into the room. I had to quickly find the map I brought in my trusty binder and my bridesmaids quickly got the table numbers out. I've worked at a banquet hall before, and putting table numbers out is wedding 101. They even set up our guest seating cards for us which all had table numbers (so I wasn't keeping it a secret that out tables would need to be numbered). I'm not sure if we were expected to explicitly request that we use their numbers on the table or what. Word to the wise, make sure you are crystal clear if you are planning to use their numbers, and that they know they will need to set them up. Second reason is we left our photo booth album there and searched high and low for it. We finally called the hall to ask if they had seen it and sure enough it was in the office the whole time. Just seemed odd to us that they waited for us to hunt it down vs calling us and just letting us know they had it. These two events were minor in the grand scheme of the wedding-just something I'd want to make sure the next bride is aware of. Again, service and food were excellent and the price was very reasonable.

I have this venue booked for my wedding and I completely regret it. I currently live in AZ, but our wedding is here in Michigan. I flew in from Arizona to do my \"food tasting\" for the date that San Marino scheduled me for. This isn't just a food tasting for me, it's the first time I get to see the venue in person. I arrive, wait in the lobby for 10-15 mins and then get handed a take out box to \"try at home\". Wtf kind of food tasting is that? There was no explanation, just a hand off of the take out box and a nudge out the door. So unimpressed and so upset that I've booked this place for my big day. My weddings in October and I'm frantically trying to find somewhere else :(.

The staff at San Marino Club (including Lisa and Ron) were very attentive to all our needs to make our wedding day as perfect as possible. Lisa went out of her way to add special touches to make our room set up amazing. Ron also did some research to get us special ordered craft beer for our guests which was a big hit. Kyle was our bar tender who was very professional and fun. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire wedding day that they helped make possible. I am still getting compliments on how good their food was and how beautiful the venue turned out. I highly recommend contacting San Marino for your next event!

Ron and team were fantastic! We had our ceremony in the lobby and our reception in the smaller ball room. The ceremony was beautiful, everything I had imagined. I had even asked to enter from an usual spot and Ron made it happen for me without issue. At the reception we loved the food and had many compliments from guests. Our bartender knew everyone's drink after the first time they ordered. The staff had everything ready exactly on time and took care of us and our guests impeccably. I would choose them ten times over.

Ron and team were fantastic! We had our ceremony in the lobby and our reception in the smaller ball room. The ceremony was beautiful, everything I had imagined. I had even asked to enter from an usual spot and Ron made it happen for me without issue. At the reception we loved the food and had many compliments from guests. Camera went missing during wedding. San Marino mgt admitted they have had inactive surveillance system in place for the past two years as the owners cannot agree on the quote provide to reactivate the camera security system The staff ingress egress through back doors also without surveillance. would you feel safe here as anything can happen anywhere and oops sorry!

Everything on our wedding night was absolutely spectacular. I received countless compliments on the food and the service. The filet tasted like it came from a 5 star steakhouse. Best place to have a wedding reception.

I worked with Brian at the San Marino Club and felt like I was the only bride! He responded to all calls or e-mails within a day or two and made sure our wedding day was top notch. My husband and I walked in and it was more than we ever expected! \rThe food was hot and delicious! We had our own personal server for our table that made sure we were taken care of the entire night. \rThe dessert table was GORGEOUS and yummy! The late night pizza was a treat and everyone loved it! \rThe San Marino has the biggest dance floor and allowed for all my 220 guests to dance without problems. \rThe San Marino Club is top notch and we are so lucky we were able to get married there! We felt like royalty!

For all the freaking out I did as the wedding drew closer, the staff and management at San Marino were calm, cool, and collected. And even with this easy-going attitude, they made sure everything the day of was both perfect, and on top. Our guests raved about the food (especially the prime rib), and were so enchanted by the entire venue. Having 265 guests, San Marino both accommodated our crowd, and also was sure to accommodate our budget - with excellent and reasonable pricing, with no surprise charges at the end. I'd highly recommend them.

The food was perfect, the room was beautiful and the service was great!\rEveryone is still telling us that the cocktail hour and the food were all wonderful!!! \rEver since I was little I dreamed of having my wedding there, and I am so glad I did :)\rEveryone was very professional to work with. The only thing that kind of irked me a bit was getting in touch, Ron was not big on email and I always seemed to be playing phone tag.

Very Attentive and beautiful inside. Very accommodating and pleasant. However the last 2 weeks prior to the wedding they seemed to have issues knowing which of their team was responsible for communicating back to us. There were 2 occasions (seating layout and a special beer that we were trying to get) were they said they would call back with an answer, only to find a note was placed in my file but no one actually did the task. Annoying, but was promptly fixed. Overall I would recommend, just make sure you follow up with them. The night ended up being fantastic.

We had so many compliments from our guests on the food at the reception and how awesome it was. Several mentioned it was the best food at a wedding that they have had in years. I would highly recommend this venue not just for the food but the service was fantastic as well. The bartenders took care of our guests all night and the guests appreciated the quick service and quality drinks. The San Marino staff was one of the reasons we decided to have our wedding there. Ron and his staff are very easy to work with, flexible and very professional. The value of having our event at their venue was incredible! We had a wedding related event there on Friday night and both wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday. Ron and his staff just make planning a wedding a little easier, which is priceless!

We had forgotten to assign someone to set up our centerpieces, so they had their staff ask what I needed and set it up for us.\rWe also received many comments from family & friends stating the food was the best they ever had! We had a buffet with Prime Rib & Chicken Marsala.\rNeedless to say, they come highly recommended by us! Fabulous venue for our very special day...Thank you!

The San Marino Club was great! The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was because I had scheduled two meetings and no one showed up or they told us we never had a meeting. Be sure to always ask for Tom! He was the best person there and I never had a problem with him :) The food was AMAZING to!

We had our Bridal Shower here and the room was so beautiful and hte Food was amazing! They were so accomidating to our Vegetarian and Vegan guest as well. I have also been to wedding at this location and have also had a great experience there as well and I've seen the pictures and they are beautiful.

What an amazing reception hall! Everything was beautiful, and the staff was so helpful. And the food...beyond delicious! I couldn't have asked for a better night. And what a great deal for a wedding of over 500 people. Everywhere else I tried was so much more expensive. I'm so happy I got the wedding of my dreams within my family's budget!

The food was excellent and my guests kept telling me what a wonderful wedding it was!! The hall was gorgeous and the food was good. I don't know that they knew when to cut the cake or to cut the whole thing. Also, when we went to set up the day before they told us to be ready so we could just set our centerpieces on the table, not put them together there, and when we got there the head table was not set up and the tables didn't have table cloths on them or chairs around them. They also told us we would have a suite in the upstairs to keep stuff if need be but they were all locked. We did have an awesome bartender! I heard amazing things about this place and was left a little dry in the mouth.
