We pride ourselves on hosting “far from ordinary” weddings and in early 2015 we elevated the wedding experience even further by opening The Event Center at Sandia Golf Club. Imagine getting ready in a private dressing room connected to the Green Reed Spa and The Event Center. When my now husband and I were looking for a venue, we really wanted a beautiful outdoor ceremony space and a reception space that would let us dance all night long... Sandia Golf Club delivered and gave us even more than that. Ashley Conway was a huge part of our wedding planning process and ensured that the wedding itself went flawlessly. She was so responsive, organized, and really recognized the challenges and stress that comes with planning a wedding during these uncertain times. I was originally thinking we would need a month-of or day-of coordinator, but Ashley had us covered! It was truly a pleasure working with Ashley, and all of the staff we encountered during both the planning process and wedding itself were so professional and kind. We have already received so many compliments on everything, from the ceremony space, to the food, the reception space, and of course the drinks! We would absolutely recommend Sandia Golf Club as a wedding venue. They helped create our dream wedding!

I would absolutely recommend Sandia Golf Club as your venue. Ashley did a wonderful job on our wedding and was so helpful during the planning process. She was a godsend the day of the wedding. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing! Ashley ensured my wedding was beautiful and just the way I envisioned. She was so patient with me during the uncertainty of COVID, and always remained calm and reassuring when I was so stressed. While it is on the more expensive side, this venue is 100% worth it! Everything you could ever dream your wedding to be.

My husband and I are so happy we chose The Event Center at Sandia. Lauren and Ashley were such a pleasure to work with. Lauren helped us put our perfect wedding together. She was knowledgeable and very helpful with all our endless questions. Not to mention all the last minute arrangements and specifics we wanted for our wedding, she made it all happen.Ashley also was a delight, she had such great ideas to help our ceremony flow better. We had many family traditions that we wanted to incorporate into our ceremony and she helped us make that dream come true.The views and space of the Event Center are just beautiful. Being able to have our ceremony on the lawn then walking right into the venue was just awesome. We loved the fact that we were able to have an indoor/outdoor wedding. It created such a pleasant environment for our wedding. We were able to get the beautiful back drop of the Sandia’s for our photos and the staff were just awesome and accommodating to our guests.When we have our vow renewal in 25 years we will definitely be requesting to have it at The Event Center just because of these two. We are very glad that we chose the Event Center at Sandia Golf Club for our wedding reception. Lauren and her staff including Helen were fantastic to work with, even as we planned everything from another state! The venue is gorgeous with its mountain views and has the fun patio with rolling windows that allows for both indoor and outdoor activities. We went with the La Casa menu with some customizations for our dinner, and everyone thought the food was delicious. We had a beautiful reception at the Event Center and would definitely recommend it! Lauren and Helen, thanks for doing a great job!

We had our wedding reception at the Event Center at Sandia Golf Club on 11/11/17. We were blown away by the customer service from the very beginning. Lauren was very responsive to all of our questions before the event, kept us informed of any changes, and was accommodating to all of our last minute additions. Everything was set up perfectly when we arrived. We loved having the entire space including the ballroom and the outdoor patio, especially since the venue has such gorgeous views of the Sandias and the golf course. The food was excellent! The Comfort menu and mashpotini bar were a huge hit with our guests. Our guests had great things to say about the bar service as well. During the event, the catering manager and staff took excellent care of us and our guests. Overall, Lauren and her team were amazing and a pleasure to work with! We highly recommend the Event Center at the Sandia Golf Club for wedding receptions.

The Event Center at Sandia was absolutely amazing. Lauren and Stephanie are both wonderful coordinators to work with. They guided me and my husband and helped us plan the wedding with as little stress as possible. I am not good at paying attention to detail, but Lauren and Stephanie had it all covered! Our wedding day was so special, the staff was organized, professional, and so attentive to our every need. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, and even how delicious the food was. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The best part is that the ballroom doesn't feel stuffy because one wall is completely windows facing the gorgeous mountain view. We worked closely with Lauren throughout the planning process, and she's awesome! Very responsive and easy to communicate with. Many guests were confused by our location choice since out-of-towners thought it was just a casino, but once they got there, we got so many compliments on our choice! Lauren truly guided us through the process beyond just the reception at the venue. And Stephanie being actually at the reception ensured nothing but smooth sailing and partying. Seeing my bride and all of my family smiling was irreplaceable. And we had a number of special requests and last minute changes that I am sure drove these two ladies mad but they never showed an ounce of frustration. Solely pure professionalism. Great job! Booking Sandia Event Center for our wedding was by far one of the best wedding-related decisions we made. We originally wanted an outside venue, but wanting a July wedding, made that too hot of an option, so the indoor-outdoor combo at the event center was perfect for us. Lauren and Stephanie are amazingly patient, organized, sweet, and fantastic to work with! I had many special requests about the set up and agenda, and they planned everything smoothly, and the banquet room looked perfect. The food is also incredible and the catering manager is great to work with as well! If you choose the Comfort Menu, get the green chile mac'n'cheese! We used the lawn space for games, and our guests loved that. Overall, the staff was extremely accommodating, organized, and friendly, and the venue is beautiful. I would highly recommend this venue. We had a perfect reception here, and it had everything I could have wanted as a bride.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff is amazing. Everyone I talked with during planning and on the wedding day was so helpful, polite, and willing to go out of their way to answer any questions. Even my guests remarked how nice the staff was! The food was perfect and my guests all told me it was the best food they'd had at a wedding, and I couldn't agree more! We had our wedding on the patio of the golf club. It came out beautiful! Our ceremony was on the driving range so they provided golf carts to bring guests to the ceremony area and back down to the reception area. Lauren and Stephanie were both fantastic, we worked with Lauren throughout the planning process and with Stephanie for the rehearsal and actual wedding day. Since we got married in October we were concerned about it being chilly during the reception, but they provided heaters and had the fireplaces going which kept our guests warm and also provided a great ambiance! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

The event center at Sandia was the only venue that could accommodate our large wedding (400+ guests)with both the ballroom and lawn. I booked the venue before it was built but it lived up to all of my expectations. We had one of the first weddings and I was shocked at how smoothly everything went. The scenery from the lawn made a beautiful background for our ceremony. The food was outstanding and the staff was very flexible in changing areas of the menu to fit our wants and needs. We worked with Lauren throughout our planning. She was friendly, responsive, helpful, and made the entire process so much easier. During the wedding the staff checked in with me multiple times to see how things were going and if I needed anything. My wedding was absolutely perfect and I have all the amazing staff members at Sandia to thank for that!

We were so lucky to work with Lauren and Stephanie. They were so helpful and were willing to do everything they could to help us figure out the weather on our day. On the day of our rehearsal they offered the brand new event center to us because the weather was supposed to be awful on our wedding day. We were blessed enough to be the first wedding in the Green Reed Event Center. It was absolutely gorgeous and everything came out wonderfully, thanks in part to the amazing staff. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with and the space was absolutely spectacular!!!
