Located in Houston, TX, the San Souci Ballroom is an opulent wedding venue ideal for those that wish to add some glitz and glamour to their special day. Your ceremony can take place outside, under the covered gazebo. You can seat up to 300 guests in this marvelous space, complete with 50 hand-crafted marble columns and a water curtain feature. The Grand Foyer features a breathtaking chandelier which measures 16 feet in diameter, surrounded by an imperial staircase which provides yet another perfect photo opportunity. Just around the corner from this staircase is the main ballroom area. This spacious event hall features a total of 30 chandeliers, each of which can be customized with colors that match your wedding theme. Where to begin?! My wedding was on 11.21.21 at this magnificent venue 🤩 From the moment we walked in and toured the venue I knew this was our place. The pictures really do not do this ballroom justice, so I highly recommend seeing it for yourself. We toured a handful of places before Sans Souci but nothing came close! Our venue coordinator was absolutely the sweetest and helped us every step of the way. From helping us a great deal on the contract to assisting us the days leading up to our event with the ballroom set up, food tasting, and final walk through…just phenomenal! Like every big day, ironically something has to go wrong and for me, my wedding planner couldn’t make it. I’m sooo thankful for my venue coordinator and the ladies at Sans Souci ballroom for stepping in and constantly reassuring me that they would make sure everything goes smoothly. And they did just that! They were not obligated to take on such a role, but noticing how distressed I was since my entire wedding was full of entertainment vendors, the amazing ladies took on the responsibility. Our wedding day was truly a dream come true and I wouldn’t be able to say that if it wasn’t for Sans Souci and their caring staff! Our guests were in complete AWE the second they walked into the venue and still talk about all the details till today. I cannot thank San Souci’s staff enough for everything they have done for us!

Very high standard venue for wedding, well organized and our coordinator was tremendously helpful. We finished our daughter's weddinging reception very successfully without any problem. All guests loved the place. This is a high end event place.

I got married here 11-11-22. I toured the venue in March of 2021, and it was beautiful. Lisa was absolutely warm and welcoming! Our tasting went great, the food was delicious. On the day of my wedding rehearsal, a lot of things about the ceremony space looked absolutely different than how it looked when we toured the property. The tent was dirty and ripped up. The property just looked unkept. I was not sure if the property was under new ownership but it was not up to standard. My wedding day, was smooth. The only things about wedding day I had an issue with was the fact that one of the bartenders was getting intoxicated to the point of needing to constantly run to the bathroom and slurring their words. Multiple guest reported this to us. The bar lines were absolutely ridiculous because of the bartender needing to leave often. I also told the bartenders to not serve shots due to trying to maintain alcohol but they still did. I would also add that shots and beer kegs are prohibited in the contract. So whether or not guest asked for them did not matter. My request was not honored. God forbid someone were to have driven that night and hurt themselves it would have been a serious legal matter. I also requested my planner do a room reveal for me and my husband. Whoever runs Sans Souci's Instagram page decided to post the décor the same time of my wedding. So instead of having respect for the couple getting married they prioritized getting social media attention. I was reached out by them via DM that has been since \"unsent\". Not sure what that was about... Lisa, was great! She really made sure all of my needs were met. The only feedback we had would be to minimize conversations about other vendors with clients because with the wrong client it could come off as being unprofessional. But, again, Lisa really carries the weight of this venue and she literally made herself available for me at all times and that was just the biggest relief. Would we use Sans Souci again? Probably not, but we would take Lisa ANY day.

Lisa was the absolute best! She made my whole planning experience a breeze and really gave me good advice! There are some reviews that I saw people complaining and I just do not understand where they are coming from. Maybe they were being rude, didn't listen, or were bride zilla's because everyone involved in my wedding including the outside vendors said nothing but great things and about how easy she and Sans Souci were to work with. The venue was beautiful and very spacious so I wasn't too worried about people being crammed in and no room to move around. The staff were great in helping setup and takedown, and you can see that she takes care of them and that they are willing to do whatever if you are nice and respectful. The night turned out perfectly and I would 100% do it again.

Sans Souci is truly a beautiful venue. The chandeliers and elegant decor really gives it that wow factor. Sandra was wonderful and met all of our needs and was super helpful. I loved how flexible they were and how willing they were to work with us to meet our needs. However, I’m not going to give 5 stars because I felt like the in house catering was not what we were expecting. The food was not nearly as good on the day of the wedding than when we first tried it during our food tasting. The fish was actually cold and gamey the day of so I would not recommend getting the fish. Also we were recommended to hire one of the Sans Souci employees for our day of coordinator and we did not have the best experience. We had to reach out to our day of coordinator on the day of the wedding to see where she was and was told she would not be coming in until 12 pm or 1 pm even though we had thought we paid for her to be with us for the whole day. She also did not stay until the end of the reception. We were also misled into thinking we were able to use certain decorations for our wedding and then later told that we would be charged extra for this, so we changed our decorations last minute due to the misinformation provided to us by the day of coordinator. Also I ended up having to do a lot of the work on my own wedding day which is just not what I was expecting after hiring a day of coordinator. Overall, the money we paid for the coordinator was not really worth it. Other than the food and the day of coordinator, I think everything else went really smoothly so I would just be aware of those two things when booking this venue.

The venue of my dreams! Wedding was on 10/10/2020.I had booked my venue a year in advance and right when COVID happened, San Souci was nothing but willing to work with us. Giving us all options to still help us make our dreams come true. Venue Coordinator, Lidice, was so helpful and communicated with us with everything that we needed to prepare for our big day. It is very rare to have transparent customer service and it was exactly what we loved most about San Souci. Lidice worked with my wedding planner and helped make all of our dreams a reality. They truly listened and even gave great suggestions on any vendors we were looking for. The venue gave such a WOW feature to all of our guests. They could not believe that such a place existed in Tomball. They were all stunned when they walked in on the red carpet to see a gigantic chandelier hanging in the foyer. What made them speechless was seeing over 20 large chandeliers in the ball room. Let me tell you, we didn't decorate much at the venue and less is more there. Because the venue was so great as it was, we really didn't want to take away from it. The venue provided 3 votive candles on each tables and 3 cylinder vases as well. We bought our own floating candles and used that as décor with our own hydranges on the tables. It was fantastic. Less is more here.I loved the idea of having the whole venue to ourselves to get ready from 9am till the end of our event (midnight, we booked extra time for our guests). The bridal suite was FANTASTIC! They had such a large space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready all together, even have an attached makeup area! The Groom and Groomsmen loved having the bar upstairs to help their nerves. Did I mention that they are all-inclusive?! Cake - Our wedding cake was made by Who Made The Cake and it was such a HUGE hit with our guests. You cannot go wrong with Nadine's work. DJ was provided by the venue as well and Joe did an EXCELLENT job. I have never been to a wedding where the guests were dancing nonstop! Joe listened to what type of theme and music we were going for and he sure did deliver AND MORE!Bar - You supply the alcohol and the venue provides the staff and mixers. IT WAS GREAT!! You would think that with 180 guests, you would have a long line at the bar, but our guests never had to wait more than 2 minutes! That's what I call efficient! Servers - The servers were so amazing! You couldn't even tell they were around because they did things so effortlessly in the background. If our guests needed anything, they would attend to them right away. To prepare for COVID and that everyone was safe and aware; we did temperature checks at the door, assuring that masks are worn by guests and staff, and everyone signed a waiver stating they are aware of their own symptoms and would not had attended if they were in contact with anyone with COVID. If any of our guests had any doubts of social distancing at the venue, it went out the window the minute they walked in. At only 25% capacity, it would be 250 people. We had 22 tables and each table would hold 8-10 people. These are LARGE SQUARE tables, so there was even spacing at and between each table. We had a total of 180 people attended our wedding and our guests could not tell because everyone was so spaced out. Do not hesitate to book. They are such a great venue to work with and WANTS to make your dream a reality.

We had our event at Sans Souci Ballroom Friday 6-14-19. Words cannot express how happy are to have chosen Sans Souci as our venue. We had many bumps along the road and even some on the day of our event however, Maura and Alexandra were there to help every step of the way. Service on the day of was way beyond what we ever expected. The staff at the venue is amazing, they are all well coordinated and very fast. All of our guest were very satisfied with the treatment they received. Thank you Maura and Alexandra for everything you did for us. We hope to see you again in 4 years.

I girl couldn’t ask for a better w doing venue. My wedding looked like something straight from a movie. I loved working with Lisa at the venue. She was super nice and very accommodating. She made the wedding process go smooth. I recommend working with Lisa. She is top notch and won’t let you down. The owner is also an amazing guy. Between the two of them along with my amazing wedding coordinator Lauren from LA Weddings I would do it all over again if I had too. I loved working with this group of people. My wedding was amazing because of them.

I girl couldn’t ask for a better w doing venue. My wedding looked like something straight from a movie. I loved working with Lisa at the venue. She was super nice and very accommodating. She made the wedding process go smooth. I recommend working with Lisa. She is top notch and won’t let you down. The owner is also an amazing guy. Between the two of them along with my amazing wedding coordinator Lauren from LA Weddings I would do it all over again if I had too. I loved working with this group of people. My wedding was amazing because of them.

I become lost in words when I think of my wedding at Sans Souci Ballroom, I don’t believe there are words to describe the happiness and excitement I felt on our wedding day. Of course, that wouldn’t have been the case if it wasn’t for the wonderful experience my husband and I had at Sans Souci. Lisa was our coordinator, and she was extremely helpful, professional and punctual. She worked with us and all of our little details till the very end. She truly brought my vision to life, never was there a moment were I doubted what San Souci had to offer. The ballroom provides everything needed to make a perfect, beautiful and elegant wedding. We are luckily to have worked with Lisa and Abdee and cannot thank them enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams, a day we hope to never forget.

We had our event yesterday. All our guest are in love with place. Food was amazing. Cake was amazing. Staff was amazing. I got everything from ballroom, I had nothing to worry about. Everyone was helpful nice. I can’t say enough!

Sans Souci helped us achieve Greatness on our wedding day. The venue is a dream come true. It's grand with massive & beautiful chandeliers. Guest are still talking about how beautiful the wedding venue was. Really appreciate the wonderful staff at Sans Souci as well. Joe, Abdee and Lisa are amazing. It felt like they were more like friends. I would highly recommend using this Venue.

We would highly recommend this venue for any event you may have. We had our daughters 16th Birthday and it was the talk of the town in The Woodlands. Mr. Abdee was very gracious, accommodating and kind, from start to finish. Good Luck.

I recently was a guests at a friends wedding a couple weeks ago and i was more than impressed with this venue. From the huge beautiful chandeliers, the valet parking, professional staff and the delicious food i could only imagine everything that went into planning for her unforgettable day. Being a planner myself all i can say is great job Sans Souci!

I had my wedding here April 19,2015. After being told month after month the venue would be completed by my wedding as well contractors on site each time I went to visit the site, the venue was clearly not ready to host weddings. The gazebo is not finished the owner does not have an infrastructure plan for the bridge that collapsed, the landscape is not complete all of the material is at the back and on side of the venue, the entrance has no sign and the guard shack is still under construction, there are live wires coming out of the wall, the bathrooms are not complete have one light that goes on and off, the bridal nor the children's room are complete, the owner put chairs and mirrors up the night before my wedding, a tv was placed on the wall the day of my wedding for the children. My wedding day was highly stressful if it wasn't for my event coordinator and florist my wedding have been a disaster. After asking the owner for a refund (I paid 30,000) due to breaches in the contract, he ONLY wanted to offer pictures once the venue was completed. He is a nice guy but he does not care about his customers, he talks in circles when talking to him about things wrong with the venue. Sans Souci will be a great wedding venue once its completed but its definitely not ready as of right now.
