The Shed is a 5000 square foot covered venue for outdoor wedding and events in Andrews, South Carolina. It has 3 bathrooms, warming kitchen and weather curtains in the event of inclement weather. All inclusive rental with dance floor, bandstand, 250 chairs, 12 round tables, 12 square tables, 12 rectangular tables, 5 farm tables for food service and the new Bridal Cottage and Men's Quarters. Arch with doors for the wedding site, hexagon arch & decorative grapevine arch for inside or your location preference. Kitchen and all 3 bathrooms are stocked with disposables. You have the choice of 4 wedding sites along with ample parking. The Shed's capacity is approximately 250 people. Deposit and contract are required to secure the date and a full price list is available upon request. Welcome to this unique wedding venue. Open year round and everyone at the Vineyard would consider it an honor to host your event.

This venue is over the top beautiful and Keys is so lovely to work with. She is absolutely dedicated to making sure that your day is a dream. We had wonderful weather for our wedding but one thing that I liked from the beginning was that there was a rain plan that would still be beautiful should it be needed. The Shed was a perfect reception site, the ceremony site options were lovely, and the bridal cottage and grooms trailer were so nice and full of small touches. It is a beautiful setting for a beautiful event!

I was so excited to have my wedding here and Keys was amazing until about 2 days before the big day. EVERYTHING about her changed. She became rude and unpleasant. She made me and many of my vendors feel unwelcome. She had previously (on multiple occasions) said it would be ok for our team to come in on Thursday to start setting up but on Thursday she confronted one of the guys quite harshly as they arrived. I ended up paying for an extra day so she would allow the decorators to get started bringing in decorations. She claimed she knew nothing about us being there on Thursday but was aware we would provide breakfast on Sunday at the property. I figured paying extra for the day was an easy fix and apologized for the confusion. I just wanted a good wedding day. She seemed pleasant enough on the following Friday and Saturday. But on Sunday she confronted the chef who came in to cook breakfast and from what I heard she actually cursed at him. When I arrived she was angry and just wanted us off her property because she was showing it to others that day (we reserved and paid for the property for the full weekend Friday-Sunday plus Thursday). In the course of my family and friends and I helping the decorators pack up the items her husband came around and they together proceeded to taunt and threaten me in front of everyone which literally lead me to tears. It was a horrible experience, I never would have imagined things would’ve turned out this way. I do not recommend this place to anyone! I’m trying to be fair here but if I could’ve done it over anywhere in the world would’ve been better than this place. And the worse part is how much I had grown to adore Keys and how her attitude changed so drastically to a point where she was cursing at vendors. I had vendors who mentioned they never wanted to even work at any events at that location again. Such a shame.

I was the Wedding Planner with Direct My Day Charleston and had wedding at the Vineyard last weekend and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this venue. It honestly might be listed in my top 5 venues to work at now in all the area. Keys and and John are absolutely amazing and so sweet and accommodating and have everything you need to make you feel right at home. I highly recommend booking this venue for your wedding it’s absolutely beautiful and the pricing is amazing and you feel like family when you leave. I will definitely be bringing clients from Charleston to check this venue out. So looking forward to booking another Wedding here soon.

Three Chicks Event Planning & Rentals has had to opportunity to work at the Vineyard for several different events and we have never been disappointed. We have done weddings, Bridal Expos and more at Saw Mill Pond Vineyard. Keys and John go above and beyond to make sure your event is perfect.

Saw Mill Pond Vineyards is a perfect venue for weddings, showers, graduation celebrations, any event, they are very accommodating and affordable, on site tables, chairs, propane heaters, fans, portable AC units, weather curtains, pews, arbor, old doors for grand wedding entrances, IF they do not have it, they will find a way to get it for you. I've had the pleasure of decorating this venue many times and it truly never gets old, nor do I run short on new ideas to step up any brides dreams, the staff even helps me pull off these grand ideas! If you are searching for THE Venue that has it all, then give Ms. Keys a call!!!

Meet the Saw Mill Pond Vineyard Team
John and Keys Smith (Owner) The Vineyard is a work in progress and something built on family land. The Shed has been a wonderful addition and we are looking to do an outdoor chapel in the not too distant future to go along with the Bridal Cottage. The 2000 vines are trimmed in February and they grow all summer to bare fruit in late August through the middle of October....beautiful back drop for photography. Maybe one day even a tasting bar! Right now we concentrate on weddings and making them as perfect and stress free as possible. Do come see us for a visit!
