Sawmill Creek Resort is a sophisticated wedding venue in Huron, OH. Home to both indoor and outdoor spaces, you can host ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners here. Committed to hospitality of the highest standards, your day will be nothing short of magical. With over 35,000 square feet of function space, each site is more beautiful than the next. Needless to say, the opportunities for photographs are endless. Get-ready rooms are also on-site to help with prep. For added comfort and convenience, you can also avail of their accommodations.  A dedicated onsite event manager will be at the helm, overseeing all aspects of the day. Tables, chairs, china, flatware, glassware, and linens can also be provided. Event rentals like tents, audio equipment, and centerpieces are available as well. If needed, they can help with vendor selections. The culinary staff on their end can work with you to create the menu of your dreams. An amazing resort on the lake with multiple options for a ceremony. I had mine down by the gazebo with the lake as my back drop. Jen is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy!

Our wedding guests traveled to Sawmill Creek Resort internationally and from 14 states. We are still receiving comments on how wonderful the venue was for our wedding and their weekend getaway. We had our rehearsal luncheon on the outside patio of Mulligan's Pub. We had our ceremony lakeside on the most beautiful day of the summer. We had our cocktail hour in an outdoor courtyard complete with hot and cold appetizers, beverages and live music. We had our reception in the convention center. Lisa Wood was amazing through the planning process and was on point during the entire weekend. Guests raved about the property as it allowed for \"venue\" changes. Guests loved the food; everything from the rehearsal spread to the cocktail hour finger foods to the plated dinner to the late night taco bar to the Sunday Buffet. Many of our guests stayed on property and were able to take advantage of the amenities- inside/outside pool, beach, golf course, charters out of the marina. Most importantly, the staff delivered to us a wonderful Wedding weekend and allowed us to truly enjoy it with our family and friends. I know many of our guests plan on returning to the resort in the future based on their experience! We will for Sure!

Absolutely perfect. Lisa and her team were amazing and made all of our dreams come true. Helped create a beautiful reception hall, a perfect setting for our rehersal dinner and a beautiful sunset cruise to top it off. The staff was always lending a helping hand and offerin advice. The food was delicious and the desert table was the talk of the night!

Jen & Marisa helped to make our wedding day incredible. The wedding coordinators and staff are so organized, accommodating and responsive.The Lake Erie ceremony spot was gorgeous. The guest rooms were very clean and the amenities made for a great stay for our guests.

Lisa made it all happen just how I wanted it to! I had a ton of DIY stuff and other items that I wanted set up and they got everything right. The ceremony location overlooking Lake Erie is breathtaking! We can't wait to go back for our 1 year anny!

I would definitely recommend having your guest stay at Sawmill Creek Resorts! They were so easy to work with and made it so easy on me before (booking the rooms) and after (telling me exactly who was staying, how long, ect). I was so pleased with them and would recommend them to everyone!!!

We decided to go with Sawmill because it was close to my grandfather and I have been going to Sunday brunches there for years. Well, when we approached them about doing a wedding they sent us the \"wedding package\" price list, and by they I mean they're wedding planner. It's really a joke- ask for the ala cart list and build your own we saved several Thousands of dollars by doing it ala carte! Trust me!\rAlso, double, triple and quadriple check that the \"planner\" is doing or has done everything she said she would. We had a serious fiasco with our tasting, with our food and with our details. Pain in the neck!
