Truly awesome experience! Amazed hiw Veronica our coordinator worked with us from start to finish! Took a lot of the stress away from us knowing we both work M-F. Made so convenient fir ys tge whole planning time til day of event!! We Love all but positive feedbacks from family,friends and even from each one who sees the posts we make in social media. They really kept everything organized. What an amazing gem we found with Wedge Wood as well as with the whole staff! They truly made us feel very special. surely would highly recommend them to everyone!!!

We had my daughter’s Quinceañera in November at Scenic Springs. This was after a postponement due to Covid to which was handled flawlessly thanks to this venue. Right from the start, Joni was super helpful with showing us the beautiful venue and explaining the packages/optional add ons. We fell in love with the views of the Texas hill country, the venue’s high ceilings, and fireplace! Joni helped us so much along the way from coordinating with our vendors to ordering the popcorn. Their DJ made the beautiful video of my daughter growing up. We really didn’t have much to set up the day of as everything was taken care of. The vendors Scenic Springs recommended were top notch as well (I know there are some changes to packages most recently). The evening was smooth and just perfect as Joni helped keep us on schedule. Pictures of my daughter on the grounds were gorgeous! My daughter was very happy! We have received so many compliments including, “This was the best quince we’ve ever been to.” I know we have Scenic Springs to thank!

We booked Scenic Springs for my daughter's wedding, and we have rescheduled the date 3 times because of the pandemic. Scenic Springs has been nothing short of outstanding to work with. Joni and Lorna have always been right there for us to help with each date change, free of charge, and even called all of our vendors every time with all of the updates and changes. This was so tremendously helpful and really put my mind at ease. They have been a voice of calm and reason through this very scary time, and my family truly feels that we are in the best hands possible. They truly care about us and our experience, and I couldn't ask for more. The Scenic Springs team has been exceptionally professional every step of the way, and we can't wait for the day when we get to celebrate my daughter's wedding! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue!

This is the most amazing venue ever! We originally booked it last year and were planning to have a large wedding and reception with our closest friends and family members in April of this year. Unfortunately Covid happened and I thought it would ruin my dream of having the perfect wedding. This fear only lasted very briefly however, as Scenic Springs came to the rescue! First, they worked with me on getting my date rescheduled to July and waived all fees they normally charge for doing this. They even contacted all of my vendors for me to get the rescheduled so that I wouldn't have to stress or worry about doing this myself.Then, Covid spiked in the summer, just before my wedding, so Scenic Springs stepped in and was so helpful and easy to work with yet again on pushing my date into October. With Scenic Springs's help on providing sanitizer stations and helpful safety protocols so my guests felt safe, we were able to have the most beautiful wedding of our dreams.They made this whole process so much easier on me than I ever could have hoped. I felt safe and like I was their top priority from day one, which is why I initially booked Scenic Springs. They truly care about their couples and this showed through in everything they did for me and my husband, to truly make us their #1 priority. Now I get to go on with my happily every after married life with so many wonderful memories of the perfect day, thanks to Scenic Springs!

Scenic Springs was a great choice for our wedding. When we started planning our wedding, we had no idea we were going to get married during a pandemic. We chose a package that included the DJ, caterer, and cake with our ceremony and reception. This option was perfect for us because we would’ve never had the time to find these on our ownFlash forward to our wedding... due to restrictions on guest count, and guests not feeling comfortable coming to the wedding, Scenic Springs was very flexible in working with us. We had our ceremony on the day we originally planned, limiting to immediate family only. We pushed out our reception to our one year anniversary, in hopes more people will come. We are grateful this venue worked with us, and our ceremony went perfectly.

Due to the coronavirus, my husband and I ultimately ended up having to cancel our large ceremony and reception that was to be held April 4, 2020 at Scenic Springs. HOWEVER, if you are considering getting married here, just do it! The grounds are beautiful and the perfect mix of getting the outdoor Hill Country vibes while still being within 20 minutes of the city. We had originally booked the All-Inclusive package for our wedding and I cannot tell you how much energy and effort it saved me leading up to the wedding. I honestly found myself sitting around sometimes wondering what even still needed to be done for wedding planning, which is not something that every bride can say. Lorna and Murray were always an email or text away and they worked hard to accommodate all of our requests and answer all of our questions. When the coronavirus hit three weeks before our wedding, they were BEYOND accommodating. We first decided to reschedule to October 2020 and they changed our date readily with no additional charges and worked with all of our vendors included in the package to adjust. When we ultimately decided to cancel for our rescheduled date in favor of a smaller ceremony at home, Lorna and Murray were extremely understanding and they went above and beyond what was stipulated in our contract to refund us. Although this is a situation unique to myself and other coronabrides - it speaks a lot to the character and integrity of the people running the venue. It is important to have people who see you as a person and not just another contract on such an emotional and significant day and for that reason alone, you can't go wrong booking Scenic Springs! My husband and I are very sad that we never got to experience the day that we had been planning, but if we had to do it over again we would still book with Scenic Springs.

My husband and I really loved this venue and when we chose it a year ago it was because of how much it reminded us of our towns we were raised in. With the beautiful trees and grasses, the wildlife that randomly pass through(there were a few deer at the ceremony), and the log cabin which reminded him of his home in Colorado it was the perfect venue for us. The planning process was pretty smooth, I was not a bride who was obsessed with perfection so decisions were made at the last minute, but Joni handled that really well. Everything was pretty perfect... except for the wedding day. Now, to be fair about everyone was running late including the groom, and the ceremony was an hour and a half late... but it wouldn't have been so bad if Joni would have 1) asked the guests for additional help for the bridal party or 2) had not told the groom's family that the bride had cold feet. Mind you, I was in panic mode because I WAS ready but my dress had to go on last, and my bridesmaids weren't ready. Joni was not really around to help with this situation and I almost cried in anger before reaching the alter. Then there was the Snow White incident where I went down the stairs and ended up bringing spiders and crickets with me to the alter... one of my bridesmaids proceeded to beat my dress with her bouquet during the nuptials... please treat your stairs for bugs! It ended up being a funny moment but... a bride who hates spiders would have LOST IT. With the delay of the ceremony everything at the reception was rushed which was to be expected, but the lack of control was really obvious from Joni and Jacob. Also the playlist I created wasn't shuffled, so the best music was at the end... when everyone had already left the venue! All in all it was a chaotic mess and it took me about a month to be proud of the wedding fully. But, our families actually making it down from Colorado and how beautiful the ceremony was is what I will treasure for the rest of our lives. This venue is very reasonable in its packages and prices... but if you book during the week your coordinator is not as involved as they should be.

Our experience with Scenic Springs was incredible from day one. Our wedding coordinator Joni, was a pleasure to work with. From the wedding planning to the big day she was organized, friendly and great at communicating. All my bridesmaids commented on how wonderful she was. And of course we got many compliments on how beautiful the venue itself was. Definitely regret not staying at the lodge that they have on the grounds, everybody said that we should have rented it out. I would definitely recommend Scenic Springs to anyone that’s looking to host a special event.

I was married in June at Scenic Springs. I can honestly say that choosing scenic springs at my venue was the best decision. Joni was my coordinator and she was amazing! She also responded to my questions quickly and was so nice. Everything went so smoothly on my wedding day. Lorna, made us a delicious wedding cake and it was so beautiful! I cannot thank the staff at scenic springs enough. Our Dj Jacob was also through scenic springs and he was great to work with. Don’t hesitate to use them!

This venue was truly perfect. The coordinators and vendors available made our wedding weekend incredible. It was so nice to have our Wedding Party stay with us at The Lodge, and have all the wedding events all on the same property. This place is gorgeous and worth every penny. Scenic Springs was perfect for our wedding! The outdoor ceremony sites are gorgeous and the reception hall is big and open with tons of windows looking out over the hill country. Our coordinator, Joni, was awesome. She was very responsive and helpful throughout our year of planning and was invaluable for the day of the wedding making sure everyone and everything was in place. Our DJ, Jacob, was also provided by the venue and he was great to work with! He made sure we loved our monogram and all the music for the day! The wedding cake provided by the venue was delicious and beautiful! If I'm being super picky, I wish the bridal suite had more/better lighting for getting ready but I think that's a pretty minor thing compared to everything else. I loved that Scenic Springs felt tucked away and special without being too far from the city. I would 100% choose Scenic Springs again and again!

We loved the venue and were really excited for the wedding. We originally had Murri as our coordinator but they had to switch us to Joni since Murri was busy during our wedding time. Joni was nothing but rude. We planned a simple wedding with few decorations and she told us our decorations were \"ehh… you know, not as nice.\" We order Olive Garden to cater our wedding and set up buffet style. She called Olive Garden to see how much the gallon drinks were to set up at each table- something we never mentioned- which had Olive Garden worried and they called me about the concerns, she called to see if she could move up the time that catering would be delivered- something we never discuss and we had mutually agreed upon the time of delivery and set up- and again had Olive Garden call because they were confused, and she also called Olive Garden to attempt to get servers to serve dinner- when again we told her it was going to be buffet style and people would serve themselves- and again Olive Garden called concerned about Joni called and trying to make changes. Joni had set up the wedding altar with the altar then tables then the chairs halfway down the dance floor for the wedding- people would need binoculars to see the ceremony. I asked her to change the set up so it would be altar then chairs then tables on the other side of the hall so people could actually see the ceremony but she told me \"that's just how we do it here,\" (there were staff there that could rearrange tables and chairs) it was an argument for 10 minutes to the point I told Joni either she can have her staff move the staff or I would myself. The tables got moved. She told my wedding photographer that she would only have 30 minutes to do all of the wedding pictures- making my wedding photographer cry because she really wanted to take pictures for memories. She went to my family during the rehearsal and told them they needed to do speeches when we had already told her that they were not doing the speeches. She came and checked on myself twice prior to the wedding on the wedding day. She went MIA and our best man acted like the coordinator to get people in place to line up since she was missing. She kept my dad outside of my room before walking down the aisle so will never get to have that moment with my father. She told people to sit back down when they went up to the bar to get drinks for the toasts. My guests commented saying it was a beautiful wedding but my coordinator was rude. She damaged the cake and lost the top tier of the wedding cake- she claimed she told my family members but when asked they said she never spoke to them. She handed out bubbles for the going away before we did the last dance so people came outside for the going away part but then wanted us to go back inside for the last dance. Very unorganized. Very disappointed. Regret having the wedding at here. Joni just created issues for us. Felt like she tried to make my wedding her version of the wedding she felt it should be.

We had our wedding August 2018. Joni was our coordinator, she was absolutely amazing taking care of every single detail and what I like the most her rapid response all the time to emails and calls. We wanted everything indoors. We worked with their DJ Jacob he was awesome and they also did our wedding cake (we had so little left over because everybody loved it). We received a lot of complements from the guest about the place and the organization. Highly recommended!!

I fell in love with scenic springs when I first saw their page. The reviews were great and it had the rustic feel I was looking for. When we met with Joni I was sold. The price was great too! Especially with weekday and military discounts. Joni was so helpful all along the way even when she was on vacation. I rented some decorations from her as well and she did an excellent job with those even throwing in a few extras! I also ordered my cake from their baker, Lorna, and it was perfect! Their DJ Jacob did amazing as well! I loved that he made playlists on Spotify for us that we could edit before the day. And he was very helpful the day of with requests from our guests. He did the music for the ceremony as well and it went seamlessly. We also hired their bartender and she did a fantastic job. She even brought me the last glass of moscato she had at the end of the night! Joni did such an amazing job directing everyone during the rehearsal the day before and kept everyone calm the day of despite some weather difficulties. That was probably the only downfall of this venue. It started flooding the morning of our wedding, and both entrances to the road were blocked off until a few hours before our 5:00 ceremony. Thank God they finally started letting people through or we would have had a very late start. Just something to be aware of if there is inclement weather. Luckily I had already decided to have the ceremony indoors because I was worried about the July heat, and the rain let up enough to take pictures outdoors. I only had about 40 guests and wasn’t sure if the hall would seem too big, but it turned out to be a perfect, intimate setting! I highly recommend scenic springs for your big day! That being said, we did not opt for the all inclusive package, but Joni recommended we try Got it Covered for catering (who does their all inclusive package). I set up a tasting for me, my husband and mother-in-law and, quite frankly, we had a terrible experience that made me refuse to go to any more tastings with “wedding caterers”. First of all, when we showed up, our salads were already sitting on the table for God knows how long. They had poured sweet tea, and when we asked for unsweet, they refused to make some. I had emailed with them about what dishes I wanted to try, but they didn’t ask what sides we wanted. Then they messed up one of the entrees and told me that’s what I had said...They served us very small portions and the food was not good at all. The woman who was helping us was just very rude the whole time. She didn’t sit down with us to explain the dishes, and when we finished and got up to talk with her, she assumed we were hiring them and started to ask about our menu (I think she thought we had purchased the all inclusive package with scenic springs but that is no excuse for her behavior). I had already decided I did not want to use them and it was very uncomfortable. She even tried to argue with me about some of my food intolerances telling me that there is gluten in rice...My fiancé is too nice and was trying to hear her out, but I finally had to say I didn’t like it and wanted to leave. If you choose to do the all inclusive package with scenic springs, i recommend asking for a different caterer.

Every brides' worst nightmare, 6 weeks from the wedding and we no longer had a venue! After calling only a few places in the area, Scenic Springs had our date available. Within one day we were able to have a tour at the property and we fell in love with it! We knew this was the place we were meant to get married at. It has the perfect combination of an outdoor ceremony space, which is all shaded with beautiful trees and an indoor reception hall that sits on top of a hill with beautiful views. We got married early June and you couldn't even tell it was that hot because of all the trees on the property. Lorna, the owner, was incredibly accommodating on our tight timeline and helped us to achieve exactly what we wanted. I also highly recommend renting the lodge on property! It made it so easy to get ready and spend time with family without having to worry about any form of transportation to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. We also chose to rent the cottage on site for myself and my husband on the night of. We were able to enjoy every bit of our evening knowing that it was just a short walk to the cottage after the reception. Check in and check out was a breeze! And of course, the day would not have been complete without the help of Joni, our wedding manager. She handled EVERYTHING! From timeline, contacting vendors, linens, table set up, staying on schedule and coordinating the entire day, she did an AMAZING job! I highly recommend this venue, especially having a wedding manager included made my life way less stressful. If you're in the area, definitely schedule an appointment to see this wonderful venue!

Guys, no joke, Joni is awesome. The venue is so beautiful, especially for Texas in the summer when everything is usually dead. Joni was available at any time and gave more then 100%. I also used their baker and dj who were great at what they do. My wedding cake came out perfect and the dj was there to help in any way he could. The rental here comes with table cloths! Table cloths were so hard for me to find at the beginning so when Joni said they had them I was set on the place. Very highly recommend scenic springs. My wedding was perfect to me, I wouldn’t have changed it for anything. Joni also kept in touch with all my vendors down to the wire. My photographer sadly had the wrong date written down and didn’t show but Joni was on it trying to reach other photographers, thankfully we already had a back up though.

From the first to the last, the people at Scenic Springs were amazing! Not only did they find all the necessary vendors for us, but they coordinated with them throughout so everything was perfect on our special day. The setting is beautiful, with a countryside manor feel, and yet conveniently close to the city. The coordinator helping us was always so kind and on top of things, helping with any question or emergency. We absolutely loved our experience!!

My husband and I were in love with this venue from the first time we saw it. It has such a beautiful, natural feel to it, and the hall is gorgeous with high ceilings and lots of windows with views of the hill country. We worked with Joni and she was fantastic! She answered all our questions, addressed all our worries, and came up with lots of unique ideas that made our day even more special. We could not have picked a better spot for our ceremony and reception!

And I can't say enough thanks to Joni, our wedding coordinator 😊 she was a blessing to me; from the start of planning, to helping me and my girls get ready, keeping me calm, to handling every step of the ceremony and the reception so we didn't have to worry about a thing. It so happened that I found Scenic Springs as one of the options and I was just enamored by the unique website, where it featured wedding ceremony/reception information, the beautiful location, special offers, person to contact, and more...From our first visit at Scenic Springs, my husband and I met with the wedding coordinator, Joni Polanski, who was very helpful at setting the date for our reception; she stayed in contact with us until the day of our wedding. Without her we would have not had an amazing and unforgettable Fall wedding reception at Scenic Springs. We were so amazed and very happy with the way everything turned out on our special day that we even wish we could relive that particular day all over again. Also, we want to thank Scenic Springs for recommending a DJ, the catering company, the florists, as well as the cake company who all helped to make our event more beautiful and special. Planning our San Antonio wedding from California was initially a daunting task given the distance, our busy schedules, time zone difference and lack of expertise. We wanted our wedding to be low-maintenance, but at the same time a special event that would be worthy of our beloved family and friends. As I had fallen in love with my husband, I had also fallen in love with San Antonio and the beautiful surrounding Hill Country. When I saw Scenic Springs for the first time, I knew it was the perfect place to have the elegantly rustic reception that would fit our down-to-earth personalities and wedding. Scenic Springs brought together an outdoor atmosphere brimming with nature, a cozy indoor setting to invite in our loved ones, and a warm, experienced staff ready to help make a couple's humble dreams a reality. Having all the details of the reception in a package, many relationships with amazing vendors, and a wedding day manager to work closely with both us and the vendors to coordinate everything was priceless. Lorna helped us create an awesome half-and-half custom (legendary) wedding cake and a lovely custom monogram, and Joni was our wedding day manager, making sure everything went smoothly every step of the way. Had my wedding on August 4th, 2017, and I was very satisfied with the venue. Joni was awesome! She made sure everything was in order. Lorna made our wedding and grooms cake, and it was exactly how I wanted it to be. Kent was great keeping the guest entertained. The venue itself was gorgeous. If you love the outdoor scenery, want to keep away from the city, or interested in peacock sightings, then Scenic Springs is the way to go. I recommend this venue to future brides and grooms.

I fell in love with Scenic Springs from the moment I stepped out of the car, its has a beautiful rustic hill country feel to it with a river, peacocks and deer roaming the grounds. Joni was our corrdinator as she was wonderful, she kept in touch with me and made sure the day of went off without a hitch. We used their Baker for our cakes and their DJ and we were not disappointed, I would definitely recommend Scenic Springs to anyone looking for a venue.

My husband and I got married at Scenic Springs on November 12, 2016. It was literally the best day of my life. We purchased the all inclusive peacock package and Joni was our coordinator. Joni made the entire year up until the wedding and then our wedding day a stress free experience. She always kept in contact with me and sent me updates. I also kept in contact with her and she would always respond quickly. I could always feel the friendliness in her emails and she always responded with great detail. The property is absolutely beautiful with free roaming peacocks and deer. The hall has a rustic elegant feel to it with a gorgeous view of the hill country. Got It Covered was our catering and linens company, Kent was our DJ, Joe Posada and band was our live band that we hired, Lorna from Scenic Springs designed our cake, groom's cake and monogram, Sherry from Wilson Landscape Nursery and Florist was our florist who designed the most beautiful full arch for our ceremony and big beautiful flower balls for our reception, Paul Anthony and Lala Duclos did my hair and make-up, Kaethe and Sarah from A Many-Splendored Thing Photography were our two photographers and we also had two videographers from Alamo HD Weddings. Our photo booth was from Black Tie Party Rentals and Jamie was a pleasure to work with. Pastor Samuel Galindo married us. If I missed any other vendors, I do apologize. Joni coordinated with all of our vendors so well and all of our guests complimented how organized the event was. It really was a dream come true fairytale wedding. Please please please book here. You will not regret booking at Scenic Springs!!! If you can, consider getting the all inclusive package. It really is a one stop shop. You and your fiance will pick out what you want at your appointments and everything else is taken care of for you!!! P.S. I will be happy to share pictures with any future bride!!

Scenic Springs is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. Our wedding reception was everything we had ever imagined it to be. We were planning our wedding for two years and Freda was a wonderful Wedding Manager who made sure our big day was the best ever. Jacob was the DJ for our reception and he was excellent at making sure we got the music we wanted for each part of the reception. Our cake and groom's cake were also made by Scenic Springs and it was exactly how we pictured them to be. Over all, having our reception at Scenic Springs was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding day.

They aloud us to decorate and set up the day before giving me time to relax and really enjoy the whole day of my wedding. The outdoor ceremony area is so peaceful and beautiful with wildlife and a running creek. The reception hall is absolutely beautiful with a wrap around deck over looking the country side, and the inside is just as gorgeous. Got married at Scenic Springs back on October 23, 2015. We had our ceremony there and couldn't have asked for a better experience. After looking at a number of different venues we decided on Scenic Springs because from the very beginning we knew it was the one. They did everything in their power to make it easy and as stress free as possible. Our wedding planner Murri was the best. We knew that if we had a question or wanted to change something we could always get in touch with her and she really took time to make it the best day possible. Couldn't have asked for a better venue! It was exactly what I envisioned as a romantic, sunset ceremony.

We loved this venue for our rustic outdoor wedding! It is tucked away outside the city, but only a 20 minute drive. They have lots of packages to choose from and there were many inclusions in the package we chose that other venues didn't offer. Both Lorna and Joni were awesome to work with, both very sweet and helpful. Joni was always very quick to respond to my many emails which is important when planning a wedding. Our families came in from out of state and we felt this was the perfect venue to show them a little slice of Texas hill country. They all gushed over the beauty. We had our ceremony in front of a tree next to the creek that runs through the property, but there are plenty of other choices including a gazebo and multiple archways. We also had a small reception on the beautiful tiered stone patio. It was the perfect day for us and we are so grateful to have found scenic springs, they gave us everything we were looking for in a venue and I would highly recommend them.

This was the dream spot for my wife and I. The scenery is beautiful. It was quiet and well maintained. We had lots of time available on the property before the wedding in order to prepare. There was only a few little things that didn't work out for us. My parents and family were seated across the room from the bridal table instead of next to it where was planned. By the time my wife and I got to the hall after pictures it was too late. The wedding planner did not see it necessary I guess. The other thing that went a little wrong was the music. We found out at the very last second that we could not connect our iPhone to their provided sound system. On top of that if we did then one of our guests would have to stand at the back to control the music. Luckily we had a Bluetooth speaker that was loud enough to cover the area. My only suggestion is do not bother to use their wedding planner. Everything else was amazing.

Scenic Springs was absolutely amazing! They took care of everything and more. I had a few vegetarians and a vegan coming to our BBQ Dinner wedding, so I had made two vegan casseroles with sides. Since the groom and I weren't doing a \"First Look\" before we got married I couldn't go back and forth from the dressing room to the reception hall to heat up the items because my husband would've seen me. They made sure it got heated up (and put the chip and \"cheese\" topping on) and was set up for the guests. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smooth and made the day perfect!

My husband and I knew this was the perfect venue for our fall wedding from the first time we visited the location over a year before our wedding date. After being alittle discouraged from different venues we had seen we decided to make an appointment at Scenic Springs since I had seen it on my Knot wedding app. During our first appointment and after discussing the several packages they have to offer we decided to go with the Peacock package; best decision by far we could have made planning for our wedding day. Our wedding day turned out beautiful and all thanks to the help from our Scenic Springs wedding coordinator Murri, baker Lorna and DJ Kent. Murri was absolutely the greatest help during our wedding planning process and made sure everything went smoothly and even that our smallest request were met on our big day! Lorna who made our wedding cake exceeded our expectations on how great our wedding cake turned out. When we first met with Lorna I told her about the naked wedding cake idea I had and she surely did not disappoint. Kent our DJ was faboulous and made our reception music so accommodating to our guests. Our guest are still talking very highly on how great everything turned out. We can not recommend this venue enough for someone else's special day! From the florist they referred us to (House of Blooms) , the photographer (Kristen from Blue Fire Photographing) and catering (Got It Covered) wouldn't change a thing! Not to mention the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and great scenery all around but the Scenic Spring's staff definitely makes it a plus. Our wedding day turned out to be the beautiful fall wedding my husband and I had hoped for. It was truly a blessed and memorable day for us and our guests!

Working with Scenic Springs made my wedding so, so, so easy to plan. I opted for their \"Peacock Package\" which literally includes everything you would ever need for the wedding, linens, catering, cake, flowers, DJ, photography, everything. All I had to do was show up to a few appointments and make my selections. All of the vendors they work with are very, very high quality. All you do is pay one lump sum to Scenic Springs, and they assist in taking care of everything. The staff is super helpful, super flexible. I cannot speak highly enough for the travel services we received from Murri at Scenic springs. When we were picking our venue for our wedding we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Scenic Springs would also help us plan our honeymoon with the package that we selected. We definitely wanted to use the opportunity since we had never traveled abroad and didn't know what the best way to start planning. We let Murri know that we were going to plan our honeymoon about a year after our wedding because I was still in school. Murri checked in with us on a regular basis so that we could start planning little by little. I was extremely impressed with Murri because we chose to honeymoon in Lithuania, which is not a usual honeymoon spot. We also were contemplating on two destinations for our honeymoon and Murri researched both and gave us several options. Unfortunately due to work we were only able to go to Lithuania but we really appreciated all the research Murri provided us with. Murri helped us with all of the things we needed to do for passports and was able to find us airline tickets for an extremely reasonable price. I cannot emphasize enough how smoothly the process went. Murri always checked in with us and gave us updates on our travel plans. She provided us with everything we needed and went the extra mile to print out information about where we were staying and things to do on our free days while we were there. When we were actually traveling on our honeymoon, our flights got changed and I was able to email Murri to inform our contacts in Lithuania so that they were aware of the changes. I cannot recommend Scenic Springs enough for travel plans. Thank you so much!

My wife and I had our wedding here last month. It was definitely a great decision. The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception hall was just as beautiful. Our wedding coordinator Freda Hoffman was unbelievable and the best. She contacted our vendors and organized everything for us. All we had to do was just show up and enjoy the night. We couldn't be any more satisfied with this venue.

I am beyond pleased with the overall experience that was provided by Scenic Springs. I love the various packages they have to offer, especially the Peacock package which includes everything. This package really helped with our busy schedules. The entire staff was professional and helping throughout the entire process. Lorna and Murri always went out of their way to tend to my wife and I's every need. I personally thank you for helping make our special day so memorable and spectacular! I got engaged 12/27/2013 which gave us more then enough time to find a wedding venue. After searching the web and visiting many venues we came across scenic springs. The pictures were captivating and caught my attention immediately. We visited the venue and it was perfect. After setting the date we were super excited to have our wedding at this location. Joni was very attentive and made the process so much easier. They provided many services and packages we could choose from. They also provided other vendors which made everything easier. Finally, The day of the wedding everything went well. Our guest were amazed with the location and the scenery from the ceremony to the reception. Joni again was very helpful coordinating the event. I wouldn't have it any other way I absolutely loved it there and highly recommend it.

I cannot begin to describe how truly fabulous Scenic Spring is! From the minute we walked in the door, everyone treated us as if we were the most important people in the world. They listened to us and helped us every step of the way. Our personal wedding manager, who was included with our package, treated us like VIPs the entire time! Never have I felt so special or so valued as I did at Scenic Springs. She put together our timeline, coordinated with all of our vendors, was available to answer our questions 24/7 and made us feel like family. She was there throughout our entire wedding and reception to make sure everything went the way we had planned. This allowed me to thoroughly enjoy my wedding without having to worry about anything!\rThey offered so much flexibility and really helped us personalize our wedding. They also offer just about everything in-house which is incredibly convenient! We utilized their DJ service, premium lighting, monogram, wedding cake and officiant. While you are allowed to bring in your own outside vendors, I would highly recommend using their in-house ones. Not only was it easier for us to use their vendors, but their prices are incredibly comparable to outside ones already and their service is all top notch!\rI haven't even talked about how beautiful Scenic Springs is! It is such a magical setting. I felt like I was in the Enchanted Forest with the deer and peacocks strolling around. We were married in late December (12/18/14) and initially were worried about the weather. However, it was perfect and everything was still green and lush! There was just something so special about the atmosphere. I want to get married again so I can re-live the entire magical experience. Truly the best day of my life!!

Scenic springs was the perfect venue for our wedding. We actually rented the optional cabin for the bridal party to get ready in so the guys could use all of the other space and this worked perfectly. The free wedding planner that comes with the place is without a doubt the best part of the deal. She organized everything and kept the day/evening moving on schedule while not interfering with the natural flow of the event.

Scenic Springs was the perfect choice for our wedding this past weekend! My husband and I toured different venues before making our decision, and Scenic Springs just felt so right from the moment we walked in for our tour. It is absolutely beautiful! We had our ceremony outside on their grand lawn facing the bridge and gazebo, and we simply cannot express how beautiful it was and it just made our day that much more special. We have already received so many compliments from our guests on the beautiful views of the grounds and about the gorgeous reception hall.\r\rA huge bonus was the friendly personnel who we had the pleasure of meeting and who helped with planning and organizing everything for our wedding. They were all so helpful and always made themselves available to assist and answered any questions we had. We were in constant contact with our wedding day coordinator throughout the entire process, and we are very grateful to have had that for our big day. It definitely helped to have someone there in charge of keeping us on time and making sure we had everthing we needed. \r\rIt was such a memorable night for us that we will never forget! A huge thank you to Freda, Lorna and Kent from Scenic Springs for all that you did and for being a part of our special day.\r\r

My husband and I recently got married at Scenic Springs 3 weeks ago and we couldn't be happier with everything This was the first venue we looked at and fell in love with it. Everything about it is gorgeous. Lorna and Murri were a huge help during our wedding planning process. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was that the fireplace was not turned on during our wedding reception. That was one of the main attractions to us but we honestly didn't even notice during the reception since we were so busy. Just a very minimal complaint and I am sure if we notified someone it would have been taken care of. We would recommend to any bride and groom looking for a venue!

We had our \"ceremony\" at Disney World but since it was too far for most to travel mid week we decided to have a \"hometown celebration.\" We chose a pirate themed wedding and had our celebration on October 31st.... Halloween. We chose a costume event for our guests and, at first, it seemed it might be hard to mesh this Pirates of the Caribbean thee with a \"magical\" theme. This was not a first marriage for either of us, so we elected to forego the traditional for something \"different!\" This truly was a fairy tale for us to finally find our \"perfect match made in heaven mate....\"\rLorna was awesome at making our every wish come true!!! We had the most delicious, intricate wedding and grooms cake!! She is brilliant at her creativeness.. she can truly do whatever you can conceive!!!\rThe venue looked perfect, Jacob the DJ was in constant touch and every cue was precise.....We had a blast and have had nothing but rave reviews from our guests. The food was a special Halloween/pirate themed menu which was absolutely delicious and served our theme only too well!!!\rIt was awesome to have every detail attended to with such precision. I thought that being out of town the week of our celebration would make it challenging to personally oversee details for the home celebration.... BUT.... not to worry.. It was all handled professionally and efficiently and came off without a hitch!!!\rThanks to lorna and her awesome vendors for making this a truly magical dream come true event!!!! \r\r

Wow what a gorgeous place! From the first moment I saw pictures I knew I had to check this place out. I had also heard it was affordable. So we checked it out and when I saw the beautiful grounds of Scenic Springs I knew my dream wedding could happen at a place like this. It was everything I had ever imagined. My mother said it looked like a place out of a fairy tale. Long story short, my wedding was perfect and I know that Scenic Springs is one of the main reasons why! They have plenty of packages to choose from to fit your needs. From just a \"ceremony only\" package to a \"all in one\" show up in the dress package. There's definitely a package for everyone. Murri was also my awesome wedding day coordinator and she knows the venue so well. I honestly cannot say one negative thing about this venue! They made my day so special and memorable! I will tell everyone about them! So thankful!

My Wife and I knew as soon as we visited Scenic Springs that it would make a wonderful spot to have our wedding. From the beautiful hill country views, to the bubbling stream that runs next to the lawn we loved every part of it. The peacocks that wander the property add beauty and a bit of fun. \r\rThe reception hall was also perfect, it was very spacious for our 150 guest wedding and had all the amenities we could hope for. Our caterer loved the food preparation area , and the built in bar made it very easy for our guests to enjoy beverages. I think the best feature is if you use the Scenic Springs DJ the lighting and sound systems are already built into the building so there is no bulky equipment around or cords for people to trip on.\r\rAll of the staff members we worked with were very friendly, helpful and focused on making sure our wedding went just the way we wanted it to. We met frequently with our on site coordinator to ensure that all of the details were worked out and we were on track with all of the planning we needed to do. \r\rThe on site cakes were so delicious and they were able to even do a Star Trek grooms cake that was absolutely perfect. The DJ was very easy to work with and used Spotify playlists for us to add or remove songs at our leisure and so we felt like we had complete control over what music played at our wedding.\r\rAll in all we were very pleased with Scenic Springs and would definitely recommend it for those looking for a beautiful outdoor setting for their wedding. With the added comfort of an indoor reception hall for after the ceremony.

\tAll I can say is you will NEVER regret booking with Scenic Springs, and I recommend utilizing ALL they have to offer. Booking Scenic Springs was the best decision we made when it came to wedding planning. The second we found Scenic Springs and contacted the staff they made us feel like family. Just recently moving to Texas, being in school full time, and working 40 plus hours I was worried that I would be overwhelmed with planning a wedding. When I found Scenic Springs had an all-inclusive package, we knew this was the venue for us. Other venues we had looked at (and we looked at a lot), made it seem like we were an inconvenience asking for a tour and just made us feel uncomfortable. Murri not only made us feel like VIP during our tour but called to follow-up with us. No other venue we toured did that. Scenic Springs made us feel so special and they made us feel like we were one of their most important clients throughout the whole wedding planning.\r\tI cannot emphasize enough how convenient all of their packages are. When I researched other venues, I found that I had to not only rent the venue BUT also had to find a caterer a florist, rent tables etc. There were so many unexpected costs that I was overwhelmed with trying to find the best deal. With Scenic springs, all we had to do was pay one price and they took care of the behind the scenes planning. We just gave our vision and they put it into reality. Scenic springs essentially made all of my wedding dreams come true. Lorna was AMAZING to work with and basically tailored the peacock package to all of my crazy requests. Freda was our wedding planner and is wonder woman. She was always checking in making sure all the plans were going as I had hoped, and stayed in constant contact with our vendors.\r\tThe venue had just finished their cottage on the property and we got to use it for our wedding weekend. It is the most darling and cozy cottage. We used it for two nights, and every morning right outside our door we saw at least 5 peacocks and deer! The cottage is tucked away so we could enjoy our privacy, but the fact that we did not have to hire transportation and could just stroll over to the cottage was just another excellent perk.\r\tI could write a novel about how amazing Scenic Springs is and how it was worth every penny, hopefully though this gives you a sneak peak and you will have the chance to have your happily ever after like we did! \r

We highly recommend Scenic Springs for everyone. \r\rWe were going to have a large wedding in Dripping Springs and changed our plans last minute. Scenic Springs made our wedding day dreams a reality without any stress and with little time to plan. All of there staff was diligent and paid attention to details. They made our wedding ceremony better than we ever expected and it was so easy! They emailed us a list of questions, we answered them and they took care of everything. It was that simple! All we had to do was show up with our guests. The quality and beauty of this venue is top notch inside and outside. Great picture opportunities all over the property. Grooms quarters and brides dressing rooms are perfect. Words cannot explain how happy/pleased/amazed/excited we are to have had our wedding at Scenic Springs! Not only is the venue incredibly beautiful, but it is very diverse to accommodate any size wedding - our guest list was medium-sized, but this venue could definitely work for a smaller or larger wedding and still make it feel comfortable and elegant. It's amazing!\rAlso, we can't say enough good things about our coordinator (who came with the venue as part of the package! YAY!!), Freda. She was on top of her game to the point where there was a catering struggle that we were originally unaware of - but she handled it, let us know what was going on along the way, and gave us great advice. She was really the greatest part of the wedding! She kept everyone calm and stressfree, while keeping the wedding moving smoothly and on time. So great!\r\rBut, like we said, words can't describe how perfect this place was for our wedding. It was the perfect combination of rustic-outdoorsy-ness for him, and classy-elegant-indoorsy-ness for her. It really is the best of both worlds - all for one great price!\r(and, the peacocks are a hilarious and very welcome addition...loved them...)

Scenic Springs is a beautiful venue. My husband and I wanted an outdoor wedding, but every place we contacted in the area or in Houston was already booked. Somehow through luck I found Scenic Springs, and their website calendar had an opening for the exact date that I had wanted. I called immediately and scheduled a tour with Joni. From the trees, to the view, to the peacocks, I knew this venue was what I wanted. \r\rScenic Springs has a list of other venders they suggest for catering and flowers. We called their top suggestions and luckily those venders were also available for our date. We used Scenic's in-house cake decorator Lorna and DJ Kent who were just as attentive and personal throughout the planning of our wedding. The cake testing was quite fun and the DJ set us up with a Spotify account so we could add music at our leisure. \r\rRehearsal was not rushed at all. We had both Joni and Kent there to help us with the timing of our entrance. Whatever questions we had Joni answered us and maintained her patience with us - we have quite a big family : )\r\rOn the day of our wedding, everything went like clockwork. Joni was exceptional as she did not pester us, but rather discretely kept us informed about what was to occur next. She had everything in place for the reception hall, and she even helped fix my dress as I had a malfunction walking down the isle. My husband and I had been to weddings before where we saw the wedding coordinator rush the brides and grooms - this was not the case with Joni. She kept me relaxed the whole day and there was nothing for my husband and I to worry about. She let us take our time and gather ourselves emotionally before making us do the next task, such as cake cutting or the father-daughter dance. \r\rFor anyone wanting a hill country wedding Scenic Springs is the obvious answer. The grounds are lovely, you are surrounded by nature, and an in-door reception hall with breathtaking view windows is a must for summer weddings. The peacocks are beautiful too - we named our quite vocal peacock Kevin from the movie Up. \r\r

When we got engaged we argued with our family about having a big wedding because we didn't want to have to go through all the stress...until we found Scenic Springs! Scenic springs was the one and only venue we had to see. The moment we saw it we knew it was pointless to look at any other venues. The all in one package was so easy to plan and the staff was so helpful! They recommend amazing vendors and everything went smoothly. Scenic Springs is AFFORDABLE, BEAUTIFUL, and will make any wedding perfect.\r The property is absolutely gorgeous!!!! It is romantic, charming and just perfect for any wedding! The staff was so sweet and helpful! Lorna, the director kept in contact with me when necessary and also made our wedding cakes! My guest are still talking about them! They were beautiful and delicious! Our wedding coordinator, Murri was amazing and made everything easy for us! She was in contact with me at a regular basis, offered to book our honeymoon and sent package deals for us to pick from. She made sure our day was PERFECT!!! Our wedding was more than we ever expected and we definitely have Scenic Springs to thank.

Choosing this venue was the best thing I could've done in planning our wedding. The staff is incredible and make you feel like a part of the family. You are designated a day-of coordinator who is actually more like a wedding planner as our planner, Freda, called all of our outside vendors and made sure everyone was kept up-to-date on any changes made to the schedule.\r\rWe ended up getting our wedding cake, bar service, officiant, and DJ through them as well and all were amazing! They also made excellent recommendations for catering (Got it Covered) and flowers (Wilson Nursery and Landscaping) which we went with as well.\r\rThe day of the wedding we were able to get ready onsite and had the most relaxing time before all of the anxiety set in. Our wedding on the grand lawn and reception in the hall was absolutely beautiful and Freda kept us organized and calm throughout the entire process. I am so thankful for all of the amazing people we worked with at Scenic Springs and would recommend all of their services in the highest regard.

The attitude and professionalism and effectiveness of the staff here is amazing. Always ready to answer questions and help in any way! They were very flexible in our requirements and never made us feel anything but special. The inside facility is so warm and friendly, it was like being at home, but with wonderful music and scenery! They have their own bakery and will provide cakes as requested, even matching suggested pictures. We chose this option so as not to worry about a delivery. We had many choices for flavors and tastings and honestly it was hard to decide as they were all great. With the bride and groom's cake, both turned out wonderfully delicious and we heard nothing but compliments about the cakes and the facility from all of the guests. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, which was our goal!

I had my wedding at Scenic Springs in May of 2013. I first met with Lorna (the owner) and Freda (my wedding planner) in December of 2012, so we only had 5 months to make magic happen. The venue is located just outside of San Antonio, in the hill country close to Grey Forest. The location is beautiful, you are surrounded by trees and hills in every direction you look. It truly feels like you are out in the country, and makes for an amazing 'country' wedding. Both Lorna and Freda got to work right away. They were constantly emailing me and touching base with me to make sure all of my needs were met. They offer several services at the venue, including a bakery, their own DJ, bar, etc. I went with their baker for both my wedding cake and groom's cake. All I had to do was show them a photo of what I wanted and they created it. They let me come in for a cake tasting, in which they had probably 10 flavors of cake and icings to choose from. Once I put my order in with them, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Working with the vendors they had onsite allowed such a big chuck of all the stresses to be lifted off my back. Freda, my personal wedding planner that worked with me through the wedding process was AMAZING! She could answer any question, offered suggestions of how I could do things, and even worked with my vendors to make sure they all were aware of what I wanted and made sure they arrived on the day of the wedding. If I ever had a question, I never felt like I couldn't ask her. Jacob, my DJ was also helpful. I was able to give him a list of the songs I wanted and when I wanted them played and he made that happen as well. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Freda called all of my vendors verifying that they were still coming out on my wedding day, made sure all the right linens were and color schemes were ordered, and made sure I had nothing at all to stress about in the weeks leading up to it. And really, I didn't. The day of my wedding was spectacular. The weather was perfect, Freda was onsite early to help me with absolutely anything I needed. My hair lady didn't even show up and Freda brought me hair spray and brushes to make sure I had everything I needed to do my own hair. It's the little things like that, that would make me recommend this place to anyone. When it came time for me to walk out, I started crying all of a sudden and was so nervous, and she was standing right there with me with tissues to wipe my tears away. The lawn is kept manicured and beautiful, the music was perfect and I couldn't have had a more amazing wedding. The reception hall that I used (which is fairly new) was also amazing! It was air conditioned, clean, had a great dance floor, had beautiful lighting and an amazing view. That day will definitely be a day to remember!

Scenic Springs is such a beautiful place; I cannot get over how amazing my wedding turned out. I was blessed to have Murri as my wedding manager and she went above and beyond for me. She always provided me with ideas, and suggestions on how the flow of timeline should play out on my wedding day. I had my wedding cake provided by Scenic Springs and it was amazing!! When I showed up to the reception I could not believe how it turned out. Everything was what I wanted on the cake even the littlest details. I also had my DJ provided by Scenic Springs and he did everything I had asked. I gave him a list of songs that me and my husband wanted played and all throughout the night he was able to blend our music together (my husband and I have very different taste in music). The view at Scenic Springs is breath taking; all throughout the night my guest came to me and told me how much they enjoyed Scenic Springs beauty.

The venue, personnel, service and more importantly support was unimaginable. The venue is absolutely beautiful. The friendly peacocks roam around freely but manage to stay at a friendly distance. Nature at its finest is a good way to describe the scenery. More importantly we found the staff exceptionally warm, so friendly and so very helpful. They made us feel as if our event was the only event they had on their agenda. The staff was outstanding, the wedding coordinator treated you like family and every staff member we met with was so kind and helpful (wait I already said that). We had already visited other venues (several) prior to committing to Scenic Springs. I had even committed to one venue prior to my visit to Scenic Springs and had already paid a hefty deposit. Although the other venue was nice, I found the experience very business-like, staff was detached and uninvolved. It seemed very much like a business transaction and it really made us all uneasy. So we kept looking, even though we had already found what we thought would be the wedding venue. However, once we visited Scenic Springs and saw the beautiful outdoor greenery that was so well kept and we met with the staff, we knew we had to hold my daughter’s special day at this very place. I cancelled my reservation at the other venue I had already secured and lost my entire deposit and although it was a costly decision, I knew we made the right one. We were so very blessed to have come across this jewel. I cannot say enough about the whole experience. It was beautifully coordinated and we felt as if so many of our concerns were lifted off our shoulders and they took care of so many details we thought we had to worry about and even some of the details we forgot. They also made exceptional recommendations on catering, which we took and found the caters to be exceptional as well. More importantly, Scenic Springs staff is unique in their support, their expertise, and their guidance and overall with their way of making the bride, the family and the whole experience so very special. A wedding day is one of the most important days in a bride/grooms life, if we could do it all over again, I am certain both the groom and bride would have not changed anything about their wedding and overall experience. Thank you Scenic Springs for a memorable event. We received so many, many compliments on the scenery, the graceful flow of the day from the outdoor ceremony to the indoor reception. Thank you!
