The venue was beautiful, food was great, and the night ran smoothly. The issue we had was lack of communication leading up to the wedding. We had challenges getting in touch with event staff when we had questions. We also weren’t given much detail regarding our floor plan/seating chart. We never received a document for completing the floor plan and listing the food and had to reach out to staff to ask for this. We wanted to customize the floor plan, which we were told we could do, we tried to confirm this floor plan with staff multiple times and then on our wedding day we were told changes needed to be made to it. The entire seating chart had already been made according to what we had planned, so this was very stressful having to change within hours of the wedding. I also created a detailed packet for staff to follow for setting out decor (which I was told to do to help staff) and it was clear no one reviewed this. My family and myself ended up having to do most of this ourselves because no one was referring to my directions. Staff were extremely nice, I just wish there would have been more communication so that the day of wouldn’t have been as stressful.

Scotland Run was the first venue we toured, and we immediately fell in love with it. Everything about it is perfect. The views and ceremony space are stunning. Food is incredible (thanks Chef)! 10/10 This was/is the venue of my dreams. Everything from the grounds, to the ceremony sight, the pergola, to the conservatory, the terrace, and the ballroom is absolutely stunning, especially with the continuous renovations they’ve done. I planned my wedding half way across the country (currently living in Chicago) and Marlo, Leah, and team made all communication seamless for this type A- bride. Every question/concern I had was answered in a timely manner. I did not use an outsourced day of coordinator and I do not think it would’ve made a big difference because of how hands on I was with my own planning and how organized my mom, sister, and I were with all of my decor. Scotland Run set everything up exactly how I asked and everything was as perfect as I could’ve wanted. We were slightly under our guarantee headcount and I was able to do last minute additions to make up for the cost- I added an ice cream sundae bar and white claws. The food was excellent- so good, I still have guests talking about it 2 weeks later. Marlo and Leah went the extra mile for me to make sure my day was perfect and I could never thank them enough. DO NOT hesitate to book your wedding here. 🥹🤍 I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

10/10 This was/is the venue of my dreams. We signed our wedding contract a year and a half earlier. Marlo (what an amazing human being and key player at Scotland Run), from start to finish, was super accommodating and able to promise us exactly what we envisioned. Any questions we had, such as special requests for ceremony logistics, after party, special alcohol requests, etc. were all laid out and answered before our day.Contact was a little delayed in the beginning stages (a year out from our wedding) but didn’t make any dents to our planning process. Their payment plan is amazing, paying smaller fractions of our balance every other month until our day instead of big sums helped us finance our day so much easier. We were so on schedule with money when it came to a month out that we were surprised we had pretty much paid everything off. I would say a reminder email (whether automatic or personal) for the payments would have been the only thing that would’ve made it perfect. We did a group tasting and it was incredible with how much food we were able to try!!! They were also accommodating to our request to try an upgraded dish that just me and my now-husband were getting for dinner. Forewarning: GO HUNGRY! The men had a blast in the SIM room and it was such a great option for the boys to have something to do on that day!The girls arrived at the bridal suite at 2pm which gave us ample time for getting dressed and pictures. They provided us with a huge fruit tray and a bottle of champagne to our surprise which was amazing!Now for the big one… THE FOOD. OH MY GOD. If anything were raved about most, it was the food!!!!!! From cocktail hour, to dinner, to the dessert plethora, to the to-go breakfast sandwiches at the end of the night, everything was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! CHEF LAZ is INCREDIBLE and put his heart and soul into every dish he cooked and created that night. We did not attend our cocktail hour but they brought us little bites and we had an entire tray of cocktail hour food when we sat down into the reception. A month and a half later, people are STILL talking about how great the food was. Our maitred was great, even though we requested D-Nice and had someone else assigned to us, she was attentive and got us whatever we needed. I think she took a step back since my DOC was doing everything, but she still stayed close by in case we needed her. The biggest reason why this venue was so appealing to us was not only the landscaping, but the COVERED outdoor ceremony area! Rain or shine, it did not matter and one of the biggest stressors in wedding planning was not even a worry!All in all, our entire experience with Scotland Run was phenomenal and I could not picture our day anywhere else! They helped make it magical and exceeded my expectations through and through. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend having a wedding here!!! Every single guest have said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!!

Scotland Run gave us the best wedding we could have ever imagined. Between their team, especially Leah and Jessica, to the beautiful landscape of the venue. Leah was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and Jessica checked on us all night long to make sure we had everything we needed, including food and drinks. There was plenty of food all night long and guests were saying they were full during cocktail hour. It's been 2 weeks since our wedding and our guests are still raving about how beautiful of a wedding it was.

Scotland Run gave us the best wedding we could have ever imagined. Between their team, especially Leah and Jessica, to the beautiful landscape of the venue. Leah was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and Jessica checked on us all night long to make sure we had everything we needed, including food and drinks. There was plenty of food all night long and guests were saying they were full during cocktail hour. It's been 2 weeks since our wedding and our guests are still raving about how beautiful of a wedding it was.

The wedding team at Scotland Run should be renamed the Dream Team. They exceeded all of my expectations when helping me create the wedding of my dreams. They were kind, friendly, passionate, knowledgeable, and understanding throughout my entire wedding process. The day of my wedding, the maitre D, was incredibly helpful and made sure I was taken care of during the entire wedding. We had our wedding at SRGC on August 5th and everything was perfect. The venue was beautiful; all the guests enjoy the panoramic view of the golf course from the balcony. Marlo was very flexible and answered all my questions throughout the planning process. When we had our tasting, chef Laz came out to greet us. We were able to customize our stations for cocktail hour. Needless to say, all my guests LOVED the food. Everyone raves about the h’orderves, cold display, sushi and dim sum station, dinner entrees, desserts, and the takeaway cheesesteaks for days after the wedding. The food was superb quality and DELICIOUS. Some guests wished they could have more but they were so full. Our Maitre D’, Aislyn, was so helpful on the day of. She set up all the decors the way we wanted it, and honestly it exceeded our expectations. Small detail but we even got the nice bench for our sweat heart table to match with our ivory linen choice. Aislyn brought us food during cocktail hours, kept everything run smoothly from beginning of cocktail hour to the end of the reception, and helped us put our stuff together at the end of the night. The entire staff was very professional. My guests had a great night and it could not have been possible without the help from the staff at SRGC. Thank you so much for making our day even more complete. If you are considering getting married at SRGC, don’t hesitate because you will not regret it!

Scotland Run was the most perfect venue for our June 2023 wedding! The newly updated garden pavilion is so beautiful and I loved my ceremony space. Our guests raved about the food, how delicious and how much was served! The grounds are breath taking. During our cocktail hour there was a bagpiper too! We had a lot of decor and the staff at Scotland run set it up perfectly! The staff was great to work with too. I worked with Leah and she was sooo helpful and the BEST! She answered every question I had , was always so responsive to my emails and was always willing to meet in person. I worked with Brogan the day of my wedding and she was so calm and was always there for anything I needed. I highly recommend Scotland run for anyone who is looking for a spectacular wedding venue!

Scotland Run was the perfect spot for our wedding! The provide a great list of vendors to work with and the entire place is beautiful! Their outdoor pavilion was perfect for an outdoor wedding, no matter the wedding! All of the staff were so nice and incredibly helpful, especially Leah and DNICE!! Scotland Run was the perfect spot for our wedding! The provide a great list of vendors to work with and the entire place is beautiful! Their outdoor pavilion was perfect for an outdoor wedding, no matter the wedding! All of the staff were so nice and incredibly helpful, especially Leah and DNICE!! Leah was so helpful in helping us plan everything and was so accommodating! DNICE was incredible, so attentive and so much fun! The food was amazing and our wedding could not have turned out any better!!! Highly recommened!

Not to mention the grounds and views all around are STUNNING. We had our wedding at Scotland Run in April of 2023! It was absolutely everything we hoped for, and the day turned out even more amazing than I ever expected/imagined! We made a lot of our decor ourselves and the staff set up our decorations perfectly and completely nailed my envision perfectly even exceeded expectations. Marlo, Trinity and Lea were so helpful throughout the entire 1 1/2 year long planning process and answered our questions so quickly! Thank you so much for all of the help during this process! Also the cocktail our is the best ever and the food is so delicious!

I am so incredibly glad we had our wedding at Scotland Run. It was everything and more. They had very recently renovated their ceremony space and it is beautiful! The plan was always to get married in the ceremony space which is outside, but mostly covered. Day of, weather called for rain (that never came) but just incase they had brought down the walls of the space so guest wouldn't get rained on!Food was incredible. Guest still raving about the prime rib, and desserts. Scotland Run was amazing from the first time we toured until the night of the wedding. Every time we went back during the planning process we walked away saying how happy we were with our choice. Marlo was an amazing coordinator and helped us with everything we needed. The whole team went above and beyond for us. Numerous people have said that it was one of the best weddings they had been too. The food, service, and venue were all top notch. I’d 100% recommend to anyone!!

Numerous people have said that it was one of the best weddings they had been too. The food, service, and venue were all top notch. I’d 100% recommend to anyone!!

Leah and her team really helped us a lot with the initial planning, and the day-of team was phenomenal! All of our guests were blown away by the service. Everything was beautiful, and even though it rained (which they accommodated for), we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

My husband and I got married October 21st, 2022! We could not be any happier with out choice of venue. From the start, they were very easy to work with, especially because we booked 2.5 years in advance. We got so many compliments on the venue as most of the guests had never been there before. The view is gorgeous from the cocktail hour area on the wrap around balcony. All of the staff was extremely helpful when certain things came about. Marlo, Brogan, D-nice and other staff made everything go as smooth as possible! just like any wedding, nothing will go perfectly, but they were able to handle it without me being stressed! Also, everyone raved about the food (salmon, chicken , & prime rib!! You wont be disappointed with choosing Scotland Run as your venue.

We had our wedding at Scotland Run on 10/01/2022 and we could not have asked for a better experience with the staff and experience. We planned the whole thing with Devon, who was absolutely AMAZING. She was timely and thorough in explaining answers to each and every question I had - there were a lot of questions. Nothing was too much for her. She was always happy to help. She made the planning process so much less stressful than I expected it was going to be. Going into the actual day of the wedding - Jessica and D-Nice as well as the other catering staff couldn't have been any better. The chef personally walked around to make sure everyone was happy with the food he prepared. Every single person in the staff were beyond attentive and so nice. They made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night even bringing me water to the dance floor. I don't think there was anything more they could have done. I could not have asked for a better group of staff at this wedding. We are SOO happy with our decision to have our wedding at Scotland Run!

We had our wedding at Scotland Run a few weeks ago (9.3.22.) This venue is amazing. From the moment we pulled in for our tour, we were impressed with the beauty of the grounds. The ceremony space is beautiful and like no other around south jersey -- there is so much greenery and flowers in the path leading to the ceremony space. There are fans to keep the guests cool in the heat and temporary walls that come down in case of bad weather. Luckily we didn't have to use them. The cocktail our space is the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space -- the balcony looks over the golf course and provides a beautiful view. The food was phenomenal!! There was many options to customize the cocktail hour to exactly what you wanted. There was so. MUCH. food. It was all delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Marlo was awesome and helped us out from day 1 through the wedding day. She answered every question I had and always with a smile. We felt the price was very fair and almost a steal for how amazing we thought this venue was. 10/10 would recommend.

Scotland Run is an absolutely stunning venue with excellent food! So many guests told us how much they enjoyed the food. They have beautiful flowers and greenery, a beautiful cocktail hour space with a balcony that can be used in good weather, and a covered open air ceremony space that also has temporary walls in case of bad weather. All of these items really drew us to the venue. Unfortunately, their customer service can be a bit lacking at times. We postponed twice due to covid and they certainly did not make it an easy or pleasant experience. When we postponed to 2021 we were forced to pay 2021 pricing. They attempted to add a new clause to our contract essentially saying that we could not postpone again even if covid was still bad on our new date. We wound up needing to get a lawyer involved and go through a lot of stressful back and forth to get to a point where we had a contract that we were comfortable actually signing. They have had a decent amount of turnover in terms of their wedding coordinators throughout our time planning (July 2018-September 2021) and we were sometimes told one thing by a given coordinator only to be told something completely different by another. One coordinator (who thankfully no longer works there) was extremely rude to us on multiple occasion, while the others have all at least been friendly and willing to answer questions. I’m very torn on whether I’d recommend Scotland Run as it is seriously a great venue itself and the food was so good. Where to even begin? I couldn't imagine a better location for my wedding than Scotland Run. Even through dealing with COVID, the entire staff made our special day a dream come true. The entire staff (Trinity, Angela, Devon, Michael, Marlo, Denise ~D-Nice~, McKenna, and so many others) collectively made it so that I didn't have to lift a finger on the day of the wedding. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING went according to plan. The florals from the ceremony were broken and down and used as part of the sweetheart table just as I had asked. The memory table and and card/gift table was laid out perfectly. The cocktail space mantel was precisely decorated the way I had asked as was the rest of the conservatory. At the end of the night, all of my and my bridesmaids items had been organized and boxed up as well as leftover food. Everything that I was afraid I'd have to micromanage was already taken care of. Scotland Run staff, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for the BEST DAY EVER! =)

When our day finally came it was AMAZING! I can't recommend Scotland Run enough!! What a team 👏 all the way back in March/April 2018, we looked at a few other local venues but fell in love, and ultimately, went with Scotland Run for our reception venue. Unfortunately, our original wedding date in April 2020 fell right around the time everything was shutting down completely due to covid. We were obviously bummed but honestly I think it worked out for the best because we couldn't have asked for a better wedding!! Derek, Marlo, Michael the whole gang was amazing to work with. Super responsive and helpful; these guys are pros and made sure everything went off without a hitch! I can't recommend Scotland Run enough!! What a team 👏 all the way back in March/April 2018, we looked at a few other local venues but fell in love, and ultimately, went with Scotland Run for our reception venue. Unfortunately, our original wedding date in April 2020 fell right around the time everything was shutting down completely due to covid. We were obviously bummed but honestly I think it worked out for the best because we couldn't have asked for a better wedding!! Derek, Marlo, Michael the whole gang was amazing to work with. Super responsive and helpful; these guys are pros and made sure everything went off without a hitch! The food, the wait staff (shoutout to DEE NICE!!), everyone and everything was truly incredible ❤ we highly, highly recommend Scotland Run for your wedding. You WILL NOT be disappointed 😎

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the food was fantastic, and everything was absolutely perfect. Michael and Derek went above and beyond with answered every e-mail, question, and concern that we had. Denise was absolutely fantastic and made sure that myself and husband as well as our parents were taken care of all night. The staff was so professional and made sure everything was ran smoothly. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we have received nothing but \"what a great wedding\" from all our guests. We can't say enough good things, and would recommend Scotland Run over and over.

DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE. This venue has been extremely unaccommodating during the pandemic. The coordinators are very unprofessional and inconsistent with their responses. They are even writing new contracts to include COVID information without reviewing it with clients. They are not refunding anyone despite the circumstances even if they can not accommodate a wedding at their venue. I had my wedding at Scotland Run on March 15, 2020. My day was perfect, and all the staff were incredible to my fiancé and I and all of our guests the entire day. Michael helped me throughout the planning process and day of and was easy to work with. He answered all my questions leading up and helped everything move smoothly the day of. I LOVED our maître d'! She did a lovely job setting up our decor and she was just all smiles all day making sure I always had a drink and saved a plate from our cocktail hour for my groom and I after photos. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile down to the guys carrying out chairs. From the stunning ceremony space to the beautiful centerpieces they can provide, Scotland Run is more than just a venue - they really help take care of everything and their packages are affordable and include everything you’ll need for a wedding everyone will rave about! Almost forgot mention the food. It was fantastic! The chef even added a few additional appetizers during cocktail hour. Due to COVID-19 we were short about 20 of our guests, and the staff packed us up many meals to take home which was very thoughtful!

I just had my wedding 8/10/19. It was literally a dream come true. This venue is truly so beautiful. From the ceremony space to cocktail hour to the ballroom, it was all PERFECT! We mostly worked with Alex and I don’t even have the words to express how thankful I am for her throughout this whole process. We had so many little things pop up but she took care of everything right away and made us feel at ease. I will totally admit I was a helicopter mother of the bride and Alex, Marlo, and Micheal were always welcoming and knowledgeable. Even the GM was great ! My daughters wedding was the best day ever. Our guests are still talking about the venue, the food and amazing staff. I already want to do it again, and when I do, this will be the place hands down !

Scotland Run Golf Club provided an elevated level of magic for the happiest day of my life. This venue is everything my husband and I were searching for: an easy flow of indoor and outdoor space, protection for the possibility of poor weather, and an amazingly supportive and attentive staff. You can tell that Scotland Run cares about the upkeep of the venue and their couples, and everything turned out gorgeously.Alex DiMattia went above and beyond all expectations to make sure every single question and request (and there were a lot of them!) were answered promptly and thoroughly. We ended up using their centerpieces, cake cutting utensils, and uplighting. Alex was even able to program the uplighting to cycle through our requested peacock color scheme, instead of just one color throughout the night. She accepted our many boxes of decorations within the week of the wedding and was able to flawlessly set them up throughout the reception and cocktail hour spaces.There was one slight hiccup where an older version of the seating chart was used, but the staff was able to relocate the guests and resolve the food issue without much commotion (my husband and I did not find out until a week later). Scotland Run was mindful of the multiple food allergies, and I actually heard the staff meeting where each designated staff member was told about the food restrictions of their assigned tables.With all the planning out of the way, the reassurance that I felt with Alex and the amazing Scotland Run staff (we had 2 maître d's), I was able to fully focus on having the time of my life marrying the love of my life. The staff was able to step in last minute to help hand out programs for the ceremony, and even though our ceremony went longer than originally anticipated, Scotland Run was able to seamlessly adjust the Cocktail Hour and the overall entrance into the Reception so we could enjoy our time without rushing.Throughout the reception, the maître d's were constantly coming up to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed, and even brought us bride and groom sized drinks from the bar. It was these extra special efforts that made Scotland Run worth every single penny spent.

The minute we arrived for our tour, we knew it was for us! The staff at Scotland Run delivered from Day 1 - notably Alex, Michael, and Marlo. Alex provided multiple stress-free tours for our families. From the initial planning stages, up until the conclusion of our big day, we always were supported and relaxed. Alex was incredibly attentive to detail, kind, creative, and informative. She goes above and beyond to serve her clients. Her experience in organizing your perfect day is impeccable. She answered my questions before I even asked them!!! When it came time to get married, we could not have asked for anything more. The landscaping team was absolutely incredible. We were fortunate enough to be married in May, where luscious gardens were growing literally over and around us - 360. It was exactly what we wanted! Gorgeous blooms, greenery, and a covered* ceremony space to make our wedding straight out of a fairytale! Our guests were literally \"wowed\" not only with the gardens, but also the conservatory and balcony overlooking the golf course at our sunset cocktail hour. Coming from a large Irish/Italian family, it was also VERY important to have great food for our guests. Every one of our family and friends were gushing over their meals! We were a couple who wanted to get married in the winter but outside and we were having a hard time finding a place where we could make that happen, we also wanted cocktail hour food all night instead of for an hour and we also struggled finding that.. as soon as we met Marlo and Alex they both assured us that ANYTHING we wanted to do they would help us make happen, and they did with bells and whistles. It just so happened that they also replaced all the carpet with GORGEOUS HARD WOOD floors before our wedding! They were so accommodating and helped us to make our dream wedding come true. On wedding day Alex, Marlo, Michael, and Rebecca (and all of the other staff) worked tirelessly to make sure our day was perfect. I was never without a drink or a snack and always had someone by to help with anything I needed. Everyone who came to our wedding raved about the food and drinks and about how it was the best wedding they had been too! I highly recommend Scotland Run to anyone who is looking to get married and have the best day/night of their life!♥️

Our wedding at Scotland Run was PERFECT!! I worked with Alex most of the time with planning. She was very easy to work with and helped me a lot with decisions. The day of the wedding Michael was with Steve and I all day, he was great. Asking if we would like drinks, Holding the train of my dress up and even my flowers at times. We had 142 guests at our wedding and almost all night everyone was up and dancing. We Rocked the dances floor. Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect everything was for our wedding. Alex always responded to my emails in a timely manner and was such an amazing support in helping me pull everything together in such a short period of time. She definitely took a lot of the stress out of the wedding planning for me. The food was incredibly delicious and we have heard nothing but compliments from our guests. On the day of our wedding, Michael was constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything and anything that we asked for he was more than happy to accommodate for us. There was also a server (I believe her name was Denise) that would check in on me and the groom whenever she saw us to see if we needed anything. One of our bridesmaids was in the bridal suite breastfeeding during the cocktail hour and Denise also brought her a plate full of appetizers so she would not miss out on the delicious food! We also were surprised by our parents with fireworks and everyone coordinated it perfectly and helped keep it a secret from us so we were genuinely surprised. Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect and I would not have changed a single thing!

Oh my goodness, where can I begin.Everything about this venue truly made our wedding day magical and unique. From the outdoor pavilion and the fairy lights on the trellis, to the balcony outside the reception and the classy holiday decorations throughout the downstairs. I never imagined to have my wedding at a golf club, however we were truly able to make a \"big\" wedding still feel like \"us.\" Alex was my main point of contact from start to finish, and from the very beginning we could tell how truly passionate she is in making sure your wedding day is everything you ever dreamed of. She was fantastic to work with, and so were Michael and Marlo.Scotland Run was so accommodating to our many requests - from bringing in hand-made favors, to allowing our dog to be present for pictures, they truly cared and wanted us to make our day be Our Day. There were no hoops to jump through or complications or issues at all. They were always very responsible, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our wedding was December 28th, middle of winter and we still used the outdoor pavilion. Fortunately, the temperature was a perfect 60 degrees, however it rained the entire day! We had to do our pictures inside, but the observatory on the 2nd floor was the perfect spot for pictures. We were even able to open the big doors to make it seem like we were outside while still staying dry. The fireplace in the observatory is a beautiful backdrop as well. They had umbrellas on the ready, which did not need to be used but made for some great photo props with our guests! For my walk down the aisle, Marlo and Alex were there the whole time to make sure I didn't step in puddles and my dress didn't drag too much on the ground.The reception was fantastic! I had two concerns for our guests when choosing the venue - well fed and plenty to drink. To stick to our budget, we chose the Grand Elegance package that offered 5 hors d'oeuvres, one station, some starters, an appetizer/soup, salad, 4 meal choices, and a generous bar selection. The bartenders were phenomenal and we loved the available assortment of wine, beer, and liquor. We are craft beer drinkers and opted to pay the extra $ per person to have a craft beer option – thank you for that option! Even their minimum package was plenty to satisfy our 120 guests! Guests could not stop raving about how full they were after the dinner course - the portions are very generous and everything was delicious! I had a maitre'd named Rebecca who was great making sure my husband and I had everything we needed – including sneaking us some bacon wrapped scallops and ensure we always had a drink in our hand during the reception.I cannot thank the team at Scotland Run enough for making our day so wonderful. They took so much stress off my plate so I was able to truly enjoy the biggest day of my life. I would highly recommend this venue – especially in December as their decorations are beautiful and classy.Thank you!!

Rarely has a venue acted with such courtesy, integrity, and class. I can't recommend them highly enough. We were very excited to host a wedding there, having gotten a recommendation from a family member. Scotland Run worked with us on the food, drinks, decorations -- everything -- helping us stay within budget while planning a wonderful event. We were particularly charmed by the cleverly designed double gazebo, where both the guests and bridal party are under cover while enjoying a beautiful view. Equally impressive was the strategy for dealing with some pretty tricky food allergies and limitations. Unfortunately, the wedding did not take place, but Nick at Scotland Run went way above and beyond to lessen the impact of this. Scotland Run will treat you the way your own family would. If you are thinking about an event, you need to consider Scotland Run.

Where do I even start?! I knew from the second I toured Scotland Run that I’d be booking with them. The grounds are stunning and the staff is wonderful. I worked with Marlo and Alex and I can’t even put into words how amazing they are. I found out I was pregnant and would be delivering 8 weeks before my wedding. They were both so supportive and great. They made sure all the “wedding stuff” was handled before I gave birth so I could just focus on my baby. The day of the wedding was flawless. Everyone who worked our wedding was amazing. Michael was so attentive to myself and my husband and took such good care of us all night! He even made sure to pack us up some cake which is what I wanted the whole time! I seriously hope I get invited to a wedding there soon so I can experience it all again! our wedding at Scotland Run golf club was amazing. It was the best day of my life, I married my best friend and we danced all night.My only recommendation would be that they figure out a way to do a better job of coordinating schedules with you and your vendors... so many of my vendors were crushed for time because there were like 87 baby/bridal showers going on there that day and my vendors couldn't get into the rooms until an hour before my ceremony, even though Marlo & Alex tell you they allow at least 3 hours between events.... Also, you may not get to use the prettiest room in the building (the conservatory) because they book that room for showers too!! It poured the morning of my wedding, but I wasn't upset because I expected to have use of the conservatory. Needless to say when I realized they actually had a baby shower going on in that room, I was not happy. luckily, I had an amazing photographer (Susan Hennessey) who got creative with scenery and back drops despite the unfortunate situation with the venue and captured some awesome pictures!Pros - the food was great, the staff were friendly, the venue is very flexible regarding your outside vendors, the ceremony space is beautiful and covered (but you still get the \"outside\" feel). Despite my less than perfect experience, I would still recommend Scotland Run.

Needless to say when I realized they actually had a baby shower going on in that room, I was not happy. luckily, I had an amazing photographer (Susan Hennessey) who got creative with scenery and back drops despite the unfortunate situation with the venue and captured some awesome pictures!Pros - the food was great, the staff were friendly, the venue is very flexible regarding your outside vendors, the ceremony space is beautiful and covered (but you still get the \"outside\" feel). Despite my less than perfect experience, I would still recommend Scotland Run.

I do not even know where to begin. My wedding day was PERFECT and it is because of Alex, Marlo and Michael. I owe it all to them. From the moment my husband and I pulled up to take a tour of the venue, I knew that I was a going to get married here. The venue is gorgeous, the price is great and the people there are phenomenal! I never once was stressed about planning or the day of the wedding because Alex was so reassuring and was also there to answer my questions. So many of my guests complimented me on the venue, the food, the hospitality and the overall wedding. My wedding day was flawless and I am so happy that I chose Scotland Run for my wedding day.

Our day was so amazing here and we would not change it for the world!!! All the guests kept raving about the landscaping, the parachuting, the gardens, and the greenery. The size was perfect, the food was served with LARGE portions and the NY strip steak was to die for. The entire planning process was so easy, FUN, and stress-free with Marlo and Alessandra. They worked with us in every way and were so flexible with exactly what we wanted. There were only a few minor things that we wish went more smoothly but it didn't make or break anything. My guests are raving about the food, they have a wonderful eye for decoration that I didn't have to worry about a thing, and they took such great care of me on my wedding day.

The space was so perfect that it didn't need much! Cocktail hour has a new large perfect space, again so many avenues for creative design. Reception/Ball Room again such large space and so much room for designs and themes. Even if you don't have many details for your wedding the venue speaks for itself and is perfect. *** The View (the wow factor) I liked that it feels separate as well from the restaurant, you truly get a part of the venue to yourself for your wedding. Food is five star and the options are incredible, you can really create a menu that is traditional wedding or go in a completely different direction with non traditional dishes or even have a food station wedding. The Dream Team MVPS are Marlo, Alex and Michael. They were so amazing to work with, they really love what they do and you feel it. They were a tremendous help throughout all the planning and the day was a dream come true thanks to these three people... I wouldn't have changed one thing... maybe the weather (rained like crazy) but regardless... It was magic and dream come true.

We got married on a record breaking -10 degree day and the day before they were calling me to double and triple check that everything would go as planned. Your Dream Day Comes With the Dream Team!I could not have dreamed up a more perfect wedding and am incredibly grateful to Marlo at Scotland Run and her A+ team. I looked at 4 venues and knew that SR was the one for me. First of all, the entire year plus of planning, Marlo made me feel like I was her only Bride. She answered every single question of my endless emails without any inkling of trouble. Even in some of my tours, I felt like questions I was asking were annoying to some of the vendors, one even chuckled when I asked about Saturdays in October! Theres a high chance that if you're planning a wedding, you're doing this once, so having a coordinator that is patient with you (you've never done this before) is key. After booking, I visited the venue countless times and not once did I feel like this was problematic. The venue itself is gorgeous, the cocktail space has beautiful high ceilings, dark wood floors and fire places, along with huge windows overlooking the lush green course adorned with beautiful flowers of the season. The ceremony space is classy looking and also makes perfect pictures. They recently got a stunning window piece for the backdrop along with string lights that make for a dreamy view. People raved about the food and I can agree that everything we ate was delicious. Even the wedding cake that was included from Stella! Fun options for cocktail hour food such as a macaroni and cheese bar, french fry bar and of course all the delicious passed foods. Anything I asked for, SR never said No. Something for Brides to know that I did not, and I feel it's important to highlight. They will set up everything for you. I brought in everything the day before with a list of what goes where, and they took care of EVERYTHING. I wish I had known just how much they would do, how on top of it they were, because I asked questions when I didn't need to. Overall, I felt very stress free, but the day of you literally have nothing to worry about. And if you do feel the itch to find out \"but wait did you guys put the one frame out..\"-just ask, and you will be reassured all is well :) Day of wedding, I didn't know this, but you and your girls will come into the bridal suite to get ready and they will bring Champagne, juice and snacks while you get ready! Brides, you will have someone with you all day getting whatever you need. My girl (I think her name was Megan) was on the ball all night, making suggestions to pull me in from cocktail hour to get my dress bustled, and thank goodness she was there because she helped figure that out in a big way! She also snuck me a tray of food from cocktail hour so I could try everything without getting mobbed. My suggestion here would be make sure she grabs your groom too, My husband sadly only ate one fry from cocktail hour while I was snacking in the bridal suite!SR team also works seamlessly with other vendors. Seriously, everyone went above and beyond without hesitation. I'm sad i'm not going to have email check ins with Marlo anymore! She was warm, friendly, attentive, responsive, and so many more wonderful things. She made our wedding the day of our dreams. The venue itself is literally a gem: the new cocktail room is STUNNING, the reception hall and ceremony area are perfect, and the grounds couldn't be more beautiful. There were so many great places for pictures! The food was so delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing it all was! Marlo made every day leading up to the wedding so easy - she was so accommodating and answered my million questions almost immediately. On the day of the wedding we had almost an entire table not show, and her team was SO flexible and accommodating about rearranging the dining room (During cocktail hour, no less) to fulfill our wishes. I wish there were more stars to give! My wedding was incredible. I received so many compliments on how great the food was. I was extremely particular about my decor and the girls executed my vision perfectly. I would reccommend Scotland run to anyone and everyone!

Where do I even begin?! I could not recommend this venue or the team that works there highly enough. In my opinion the venue is the most beautiful in the area... the flower garden/arbor area, golf greenery, brand new cocktail room and balcony made for stunning pictures. The food was delicious and I can't even count how many guests have raved to me about the service from the wait staff. We had over 220 people and everyone was made to feel so special and well attended to. The real thing that made our day so perfect is the people that work there. Throughout the 2 years we were engaged, I had so many questions/changes/strange requests and Alex was there for us every step of the way. She was beyond accommodating and flexible and is just generally a really nice person to talk to. I didn't hire a wedding planner and there is just no way I could have done it without her. Marlo was also so helpful and generous to us and we were lucky enough to have Meghan as our Maitre'd who was there for everything we needed on the night and helped it run smoothly. I agree with the other reviews that these are people you can really trust and make you feel that they are personally invested in your day. I am honesty still speechless about the amazing job they did and am so thankful!!

My husband and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Marlo and Alex at Scotland Run Golf Club! They went above and beyond to ensure our day was nothing short of perfection. Marlo, Alex and the entire Scotland Run staff worked tirelessly the day of our wedding to make sure things ran smoothly, that we were treated with the highest quality of customer service and professionalism, and that my husband and I were well taken care of (fed, hydrated and happy). Leading up to the wedding, Marlo provided prompt responses, whether it be to offer ideas, resources or confirmation emails. She listened to our needs, be it budget or adding that personal touch, and made it work. The hall itself was everything we could have asked for. It offered us the affordable outdoor rustic feel we had been striving for with an overhang in case of rain, a brand new cocktail space, and an air conditioned indoor ballroom complete with uplighting and a wrap around balcony with an exquisite view of the entire golf course. We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was, not to mention how delicious the endless amounts of food was. We couldn't have picked a better venue or asked for a more memorable day! It was absolutely stunning and beyond anything I could have dreamt of. Our highest recommendations for Scotland Run!!

The club is gorgeous and is great for pictures! It is affordable too! The food and cake were delicious! The staff, especially Marlo, was amazing! They had no problems answering a nervous bride's million questions. The day of the wedding it rained and I still was able to get amazing pictures! During the whole reception, the staff made sure my new husband and I had enough drinks and food to eat while we walked around saying hi to everyone! We felt so catered to on our special day! I felt they went above and beyond to make sure our day went beatifully! I couldn't have picked a better place to have our afterparty at!

If I could give this venue and its staff 10 stars, I would!!! I am absolutely thrilled that I chose Scotland Run as the venue for my wedding. The ceremony and reception space were just what I had been promised - spectacular!! I cannot say enough about the staff - specifically, Alex and Marlo. I truly felt as though they were both personally invested in my wedding and I was so confident in their abilities that it helped me to stay surprisingly calm throughout the day. To our benefit, renovations were made just in time for our wedding and the new space is absolutely gorgeous. It eased my fears of the rain ruining my cocktail hour because of how beautiful the enclosed area is. The scenery is unbelievable, including the staircase that my bridesmaids and I walked down to reach the ceremony pavilion. Marlo helped me with my signature drink and I heard from my guests that it was \"sold out\" early on because of how good it tasted!! (The bartenders offered to make a modified version after!) Alex wrote on all of the signs and chalkboards that I had brought for extra decor and they turned out better than I had even imagined. The food was magnificent, as everybody I had talked to who had experienced it prior had told me. Alex and Marlo also made it a point to find me at the end of the night to congratulate me again and say goodbye. I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue and its staff (our maitre'd, MariKate, was AMAZING as well)!! I highly recommend Scotland Run for your wedding venue if you are looking for a beautiful space with quality service :)

Scotland Run truly cared that my husband and I had the wedding we imagined. They frequently sent us emails and kept our wedding planning on track. They were more than willing to accommodate all of my diy decorations and they worked very well with my vendors. The reception area was more beautiful than I pictured it would. Our guests are still raving about how much food there was and how good it all was. We felt taken care of the entire night and we had so much fun. I hope I get invited to a wedding there in the future so I can enjoy it all over again :)

We couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding on 6/27/15. Alex, the event coordinator, is one of the best, most organized people I have ever met. Everything was perfectly set up the day of the wedding. Alex even took the reins and designed the cupcake tower for us! Tons of compliments. The staff was absolutely amazing and made sure I was okay ALL night (shout out specifically to Margo and Drew). I don't have one negative thing to say about Scotland Run. I just want to say that Scotland Run was the most amazing venue I could have had!! The food was absolutely delicious from cocktail hour to the entrees we selected. The pavilion for the ceremony was beautifully landscaped and the gardens were gorgeous. Alex and the rest of the staff worked so tirelessly to make sure everything was just perfect for us. My husband and I only looked at one place for our wedding...Scotland Run. We met with Joann and made up our minds before we even left that night. My fiancé and I looked at about ten venues. I really wanted to have an outdoor ceremony, but was concerned about inclement weather. Scotland Run has a covered outdoor pavilion, so that in the event that it rains it is still possible to have the ceremony held outdoors. Fortunately we did not have that problem! The landscaping is lovely and we did minimal decorating for the ceremony because it was so beautifully decorated on its own!\r\rFrom the moment we set foot in the building, JoAnn made us feel comfortable. We were even able to view the ballroom set up for a wedding. The food tasting was fantastic. We were able to bring four family members along with us. We were able to select two of each for chicken, fish, and beef to try. It was a seated tasting with wine service. It was amazing to sit down to a \"dinner\" and experience what your wedding would feel like for your guests. \r\rThe service the day of the wedding was phenomenal. The bridesmaids had the bridal suite to ourselves and we were provided a cheese plate and champagne. Every bartender and member of the wait staff made the evening run smoothly and on time. \r\rI had brought more than a few things to have set up on the escort table: escort cards, guest book, and pictures of our relatives' weddings. I was afraid it might be too much and look cramped, but the table was large enough and JoAnn set it up so beautifully!\r\rTo be honest, every wedding venue you go to will cost roughly the same price per person. Scotland Run had the best service, food, and ceremony space for the money. We had a truly beautiful wedding that I'm sure people will be talking about for years to come.
