If you are looking for an urban venue with a more modern feel in Omaha this is your place! We had our wedding reception here with Jerica as our reception coordinator and it was nothing short of amazing. They prepared our reception for us even better than we imagined it. The staff here handled everything a couple might worry about, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. I lost count of the number of rave reviews for how good the food was. They also have an alcohol vendor that does inventory buy back of anything unused which took away the anxiety of ordering too much. Our guests loved having fun places nearby in Aksarben to go to in between the ceremony and reception and were able to have a stress-free fun time because their hotels were a short walk away. The Scott Center really checks all the boxes for an Omaha wedding.

Jerrica and her team are amazing! Jerrica was wonderful to work with and is so organized. They did a beautiful job decorating and the food was delicious. It was so nice to just drop off the decorations the day before and pick them up the next week. Jerrica - thank you so much - everything was perfect!

Absolutely recommend! They are the most amazing people I have ever met! You can tell they have a passion for their job when they helped us first start our booking, I honestly had the best time planning my wedding through them because they made it fun, not stressful. The wedding packages they have are amazingly priced and doable. The food is also to die for! My husband and I both agreed that we want to renew our vows even sooner then planned so we can go with SCC again

They are very personable, accommodating, and extremely helpful. We felt they went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. They kept in contact through the whole process and they helped make sure everything went smooth on our big day. It was so fantastic because they handle the set up for both the ceremony and reception, all the clean up, and coordinated with our other vendors. They helped make the planning process so less stressful which was great. The food was AMAZING! We received so many compliments on the delicious food, which we chose a buffet style dinner. We would highly recommend them!! We are so glad we chose them over all the other venues we looked at.

The Scott Conference Center and staff were absolutely AMAZING!! They were very patient with us, helped us plan, and went above and beyond. They were amazing with helping set up and take down. Other venues were not as helpful or flexible. Jerrica and staff were so kind and helped keep me calm when it felt like I had a lot to do-they did it all! The reception space was perfect for over 300 people and the dance floor was plenty big. I can not thank them enough for all their help in making our day so special. I would highly recommend the Scott conference center for a wedding reception. They have great service and affordable!

Scott Conference Center is the most wonderful vendor to work with! Great with communication and so willing to make your wants/desires possible. We got married in November and used Scott Conference Center for our venue. They were so easy to work with and so kind to let us literally transform the space to make our dreams and visions come to life. All the staff was very courteous and on the ball in regards to timeliness and running the reception smoothly. The food here is GREAT too which is an added bonus. We had 450 people and they got everyone through the lines in 20 minutes!! 10/10 recommend. Thank you!!

They were so easy to work with and so kind to let us literally transform the space to make our dreams and visions come to life. All the staff was very courteous and on the ball in regards to timeliness and running the reception smoothly. The food here is GREAT too which is an added bonus. Absolutely amazing to work with! Megan came in part-way through the planning process and the transition was absolutely seamless. Throughout the entire planning, she responded quickly to emails, answered all of my questions, and most importantly, settled any of my concerns. In the days leading up to and the day of the wedding, she had everything lined up and ready to go. The staff was fantastic and made the day so special! We didn’t have to worry about a single thing the day of the wedding, which is a huge plus! The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere exactly what we were envisioning, and so much more. The food served was delicious and I was told so from many, many guests. Even the kids’ meals were good and the kids ate practically everything on their plates! Even though we had a buffet-style dinner, the kids’ meals were plated and delivered, which was a very nice touch. Overall, it was amazing and I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and family! They 100% earned their top ratings from The Knot.

I could not have asked for a better wedding venue. From the beginning of our planning with the coordinator to the end they were helpful, honest, and on top of everything! They made sure things were planned out effectively and followed through. The food was absolutely amazing. I have the pleasure of going to times before the wedding to taste the food then at the wedding was served the same amazing quality. Samantha made sure everything was put out for decorations and they looked beautiful. They also were very good at contacting me and me getting in touch with them. They made sure the day was perfect. I would not recommend a better venue.

Having our wedding reception at the Scott Center was truly the best decision we could have made. Working with Samantha made for an easy and carefree day when it came to decorations, food, and lighting.We had a few requests for the day, we wanted to play a video during dinner that we had created prior to the wedding day and it played exactly when we wanted it to- it was displayed on all 6 screens and the sound was loud enough for everyone to hear.I also wanted a few items displayed throughout the venue as well as bathroom baskets with toiletries and Samantha went to work to ensure both of those things got done.Let’s talk about the food for a minute... wow! We chose to do appetizers, dinner, as well as a late night snack.We had chips with guacamole, queso, and salsa as well as a variety of wings for appetizers. My husband and I did not get to try the appetizers since we weren’t at the venue yet, but our guests said the guacamole and wings were amazing.For dinner we had herb chicken (highly recommend) and flank steak (absolutely delicious)! All in all, the reception went off without a hitch (as far as I know, which I’m okay with). Samantha is wonderful to work with. She is very laid back, easy going, and does what she says she will do for you.We are very impressed with our choice and wish we could go back and do it again!!Maybe in 10 years.Thanks for everything Scott Center and Samantha!!!

Having our wedding reception at the Scott Center was truly the best decision we could have made. The Scott Conference Center was amazing. We couldn't have asked for better! Sam, the coordinator we worked with, made the planning really easy, and we received a lot of compliments on the food. This venue made all of our dreams come true. We are still getting comments about how great the food was and they did all the heavy lifting so i could just enjoy that day. They do all of the set up and tear down and are all hands on deck so if something goes wrong they are prepared! Samantha was great to work with and so helpful every step of the way!

Scott Conference Center was the best decision! We toured a handful of reception halls and we are so glad we celebrated at SCC. Our guests continue to rave about how nice it looked and how great the food was. They offer so many options for your menu including special dietary needs. The hall looked absolutely beautiful. They are very flexible for party size, meal selections, lighting, room layout, etc. Samantha, the kitchen staff, and hall staff were so good to work with. We didn't have to worry about a thing and the night was perfect! I highly recommend SCC and would hold future events there without hesitation!

WOW! Our daughter's wedding was held in April and it was absolutely perfect! The staff at Scott Conference Center went above and beyond to make the venue exactly how we wanted it. We had 420 guests and served breakfast food and a carving station. The display of food was so appealing and everything was piping hot. We were amazed at how quickly the staff got our guests through the food lines. Comments from our guests included \"the food was fantastic and the service was second to none!\"The staff was so easy and fun to work with and very reasonably priced and so accomodating. This also includes the bar staff of 1316 Jones Beverage Catering Company. Kudos to Megan, Darrin, Trina and Mary! They are an amazing team and we highly recommend Scott Conference Center!!!

100% would recommend to anyone. Food is to die for and staff is beyond helpful! I was so glad I chose this location. Was worth the price. There is tons of parking and easy drop-off right out front for older guests. Dance floor is just large enough and they have plenty of room to make your wedding feel cozy but not cramped. I appreciate that my bridezilla moments were handled with calm concern and that everything looked stunning upon arrival that day. They have room for you to change, allowed us to drop things off and prepare the night before and were the people who set up for us the day of. They can also be your backup space for inclement weather.

If there was an option to give 6 stars I would do it! Megan did a fantastic job of working with us and making our wedding reception absolutely perfect. My husband and I live in Boston and Megan was quite responsive on emails. Any urgent questions were answered within 24 hours and we got through to her within the same day every time we called. She also did a great job of arranging times to meet with my parents to go over things they wanted to do in person. She also arranged us to have our own tasting since my husband and I weren't able to attend the main one in the spring. We ran into some issues with construction which were out of Megan's hands and she went above and beyond to compensate for us. She was upfront about the changes that were being made and explained to us how it would effect our previous plans and how we would make a new plan to still fulfill everything we initially agreed upon. She arranged for my parents to see a wedding reception being set up with the new changes to get a better idea of what to expect and eased our minds that everything would be just fine. We were able to meet with her the week before the wedding just to talk about setting up and even though there was another event taking place she got us a table to do a mock set up and we were able to show her what we were expecting in case we weren't able to finish setting up on Friday in the time allowed. We were fortunate that there wasn't an event on Friday afternoon and we were able to get everything looking the way we wanted on the tables. Megan was there as well and helped us rearrange our selection of guest book table arrangement and things like that. Of course not all of the lighting and draping were set up at that time so when we walked in during our grand entrance we were amazed at how the venue we thought looked perfect the night before somehow looked 10 times more amazing. Megan also did a great job with coordinating with our DJ from Complete Music and with the bar to make sure everything ran smoothly. She was there to the very end of our night helping to clear off the tables and make sure everything was properly taken care of. There was not one thing we asked for that was not followed through with and so many things we didn't even think of Megan asked us about or had covered herself. The food was great as well! We got many compliments on how good it was and there were many varieties available for dietary restrictions. We were able to have our 3 guests with Celiac have their meals plated separately to avoid contamination and there was a vegan option and the vegetarian option was so good people wished we had it on the buffet line for everyone to enjoy. I do not have a single negative comment on our night or the process of working with Megan, her staff or the conference center itself!

I lived out of state while planning my wedding and had my heart set on a downtown venue but when my mom suggested looking at Scott Conference Center a week before my trip home to visit venues I humored her. It was our first tour and after we saw Scott Conference with Megan Van Sant, none of the other venues could compare. I had a vision of being up on a stage and a chandelier over the dance floor and they had it. Every vision I had, Megan so easily made it happen. I was never told I couldn't make my dream wedding vision come true. Everything went so well and we only met twice before the day - though I probably filled her email with questions :) Megan was out of the office on the day of our actual wedding so someone stood in for her and I didn't even notice a difference. Everything went so smoothly and the food was AMAZING. I got so many compliments on how good the food was and how it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The wait staff was great and I only heard good things from our guests.Seriously such an amazing experience - they made our wedding perfect. I cannot thank Megan & the rest of the staff for everything they did - much of it, I'm sure was behind the scenes that I didn't notice.Thank you!!!! :)

Megan Van Sant was amazing to work with and knows her stuff! She ran our entire reception and completed the set-up/tear down of all of our decorations! If you have ever been involved with a wedding, you know how ridiculously tedious it is to set up a reception hall for hours and Megan and her staff were the MVPs because I didn't have to burden any of my loved ones to set up! Instead all of my loved ones got to feel like guests instead of workers and that's something I truly appreciated! Prices are very reasonable compared to other places in Omaha and the food was amazing! Highly recommend to future brides!

The SCC did a WONDERFUL job with our wedding reception on 2/25/17. Everything from all the pre-reception meetings, adjusting the contract, working with me and reassuring me in regards to the event happening before ours, to making everything look PERFECT the night of - Megan Van Sant and her team did amazing work! I have had 5 siblings get married before me, and all of us agree that Megan was by far the best reception manager/coordinator to work with! I just cannot say enough good things, the night went so smoothly and everything was beautifully arranged! Also, the food was incredible and very well presented, we got so many compliments on how tasty everything was! And cannot leave out the security, both of the officers/security guards were so nice and friendly! Everything about the SCC is professional and the people there are honest and so great to to work with. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Loved having my reception at Scott conference center! Their staff was extremely helpful, professional and very organized. They made it very simple including all the tables, linens, catering, bar service, set up and take down. It's a one stop shop! Not to mention the food is so delicious. I had so many compliments about the catering and food. Highly recommend! I would use them again for other events in a heartbeat.

With only 3 months before our big day, we found ourselves needing to relocate our reception, and somehow Scott Conference Center was available! With limited time and options, we quickly chose this venue and I'm so glad we did! Our ceremony was at Memorial Park and our guests stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott right across the street from SCC so this location was perfect for us! Megan was helpful and implemented my ideas very well. I would have preferred to be more hands on when it came to decorating the venue, but because they had other events scheduled, I wasn't able to do any of that myself. That being said, it looked great! And I didn't have the stress of trying to get it done! I received many compliments on the reception, and would recommend this location! The food was great and even though initially it seemed strange to work with an outside source for alcohol, it was actually quite easy to coordinate with 1316 Jones and they were terrific to work with as well. Overall, a great experience at Scott Conference Center!

We had our wedding reception on 8/27/2016 at SCC and it was amazing. Megan is super easy to work with and quick with communication. The lights and venue make decorating easy. The food is amazing. You can cater in booze with makes it affordable (recommend 1316 Jones Beverage company). Hotels and other bars within walking distance. Close parking. Professional staff. So great!

Megan the wedding coordinator is fantastic to work with. She really knows how to make your day special and how you imagined it would be! She made the planning process really easy and made the venue look just the way we wanted it too. The venue was amazing with the decorations and the set up was just how we wanted it to be. The food was also fantastic, the best food we have ever had at a wedding. They even made special accommodations for my niece who has allergies. We still have people telling us how great the food was and our wedding was a month ago. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone it is just all around great!

The staff was so friendly and everything was so beautiful. I couldn't believe how good the food was- I had to go up for seconds! I can only hope I get invited to another wedding there!

seriously can't say enough positive things about this venue. our wedding was in March and our guests still talk about how much they loved the food and loved the venue. Anytime anyone asks me reception locations I always say Scott Conference! Megan made everything so easy. I literally dropped the things off in tubs that I wanted for decorations early in the week and didn't have to do anything else! They set up everything for you and tell all your vendors where you want everything. Megan truly makes your wedding day as worry free as possible!

This is not a rotating staff-they retain their employees and it shows! There are so many important behind the scene factors that go into a successful reception I feel it necessary to let you know this competent team will handle all the details! Let's talk about the FOOD. Best Ever! (they even have gluten-free) Make sure you go back for seconds because you'll find yourself wanting more later! You can chose a quick moving two-sided buffet or have the meal plated and served by a respectful staff. The food is prepared on site and not cooked hours ahead of time and carted across town to be reheated. Working with the SCC staff takes away all anxieties and Megan with the help of a mighty team will go over & beyond, with a smile, to make it the night of your dreams. The cost is an untouchable value when you factor in the delicious food, quality venue, peace of mind, included amenities, and desire to please. Not to mention a hotel within walking distance! We're having wedding #2 this spring and I wish the SCC was in KC but, this hidden gem can only be found in Omaha,NE! \rKaren R.

Megan was extremely helpful with set-up for the band, which we had hired to play music. She suggested where to put the stage in relation to the head table and dance floor. In addition, the venue easily accommodated the band's requirements for space and electrical outlets. The venue also provided screens for the picture slide show and this made the night extra special! The screens were large and placed throughout the venue (I believe there were three) so everyone could see the slide show, which played during dinner. I cannot think of a single thing that I would change about the night!

Loved working with the people at this venue especially Megan. This place had the best food I have ever had at a wedding when I went to a friend's wedding, which was what led me to them for my own. I would suggest that you tell your DJ to say last call on food because they remove the food rather quickly when I know people would have had seconds. Coordinate DJ with the food service. Other than that it was just awesome! You do have to dress this venue up more than some others so we found that we spent more money than we thought. Uplighting from a private contractor made the HUGEST difference and was $1,200. The whole hall is an unusual green color but you would never have known because of the uplighting we did. I would highly recommend this venue :)

I would suggest that you tell your DJ to say last call on food because they remove the food rather quickly when I know people would have had seconds. Coordinate DJ with the food service. Other than that it was just awesome! You do have to dress this venue up more than some others so we found that we spent more money than we thought. Uplighting from a private contractor made the HUGEST difference and was $1,200. The whole hall is an unusual green color but you would never have known because of the uplighting we did. I would highly recommend this venue :)

She sets up the entire room exactly as you want it so you don't have to do ANYTHING. The food is wonderful-they cook everything at the venue. We got compliments for weeks after our wedding about how good the food was. They have a big dance floor and just an overall great set up. We are so so glad we chose the Scott Conference for our wedding and would recommend this venue to anybody. The price is also very afforadable compared to other Omaha venues.

Scott Conference Center was perfect for our ceremony and reception and well within our budget. And can we talk about the FOOD! SO GOOD, plenty of choices and our guests are still talking about it months later. The space was available for our tiny, quick ceremony as well as our huge party of a reception. The set up, availability before the event, as well as the ease of cleanup were all seamless. The staff made it easy to work with our outside vendors and we had everything that we needed for the night. It was only difficult to get our guests to leave we were having so much fun!

Before we were even engaged, my wife and I had a pretty good vision of what we wanted our wedding day and our reception to look like. We got married nearby and started looking for venues that could handle the size and style of wedding we wanted. Once we looked at the Scott Conference Center, no where else could compare and our decision was made. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and had no problem with us routinely coming up with more questions for them as the day drew near and we ironed out details.\rA few weeks prior to our wedding, we gave SCC our vendors contact info and they arranged everything for us so we didn't have to go there for anything except to drop off our own decorations. While this sounds like a pretty small thing, the week of your wedding the last thing you want to personally deal with is your vendors calling you trying to arrange schedules for your reception. \rThe day of wedding was perfect. SCC set up our reception exactly like we wanted and the only surprise for us was how beautifully everything came together. The staff took excellent care of all our guests, made sure we were taken care of and everything was how we wanted it. We could not imagine having our reception anywhere else and absolutely recommend the Scott Conference Center.

The SCC was a wonderful venue for my wedding. I loved that the dance floor was in the middle of a narrower room with bars and buffet lines on both sides for quick and easy access for all guests. The natural colors and decor of the room matched my wedding colors. Megan VanSant, the coordinator, was easy to work with and made sure all of my requests were handled correctly. I was frustrated that we weren't able to get in to decorate until noon the day of my 5:30 wedding because my family was doing ALL of the decorating, centerpieces, etc. ourselves and it was hard to juggle setting up with pictures. They also had the tables all set with the wrong colored linens, but quickly changed that once it was pointed out. \r\rThe food was amazing!! I am still having guests tell me about how great the food was compared to other weddings they've attended. Guests had the option of chicken florentine, roast beef, caeser salad, fresh fruit, baby red potatoes, roll, green beans, and glazed carrots for only $18/person, which we found was VERY reasonable compared to other venues. \r\rThey also offer discounts for UNO/UNL students and for Friday weddings!

The Scott Conference Center in Aksarben Village is an amazing wedding reception venue. They have an 'in house' caterer that supplies a diverse menu for a very reasonable price. They are one of the only venues that we looked at that offers the same price per head for a plated or buffet dinner style. \rThe venue is well known to other wedding vendors in the community, which made it easy to arrange decoration, alcohol, and music. The Scott had previously worked with all of our outside vendors which made it completely painless to arrange.\rAlso, a lot of the services the Scott provides in house are things that might be considered 'extra costs' somewhere else. Our wedding coordinator Megan was very helpful and offered to both set up our tables for the reception and box up what was left for us at the end of the night. The venue also offers a cake cutting service that was included in our cost.\rOne of my favorite things about the Scott is that every year in March, they offer a 'food tasting event'. This allows all couples who have booked their wedding reception at the Scott to come in and taste everything on the menu. Other vendors also come and set up tables, which helps to get an idea of what the venue looks like set up for a wedding reception and is very useful for ideas on what styles are available. We went to this event twice and loved going both times.\rI would definitely recommend the Scott Conference Center to any couple looking for somewhere to have their reception. It is especially a great location to have if you have a lot of guests from out of town. There are a lot of hotels in very close proximity and Aksarben Village offers a lot of 'down time' entertainment.

The venue was perfect! Alot of space and great service. The food was awesome and all of our guests commented on how good it was. The staff was very accomodating to all of our needs and helped to make the night perfect!

Great venue at a great price. I compared a lot of venues in Omaha, and this really was the best value I could find for a large wedding (~300 people). Staff is very friendly to work with and will bend over backwards for you. Food was delicious as well as many of my guests were sure to mention!
