We looked at a lot of venues in Indianapolis and Scottish Rite and Sarah blew us away! The venue itself is beautiful, they were so easy to work with, great communicators, and having everything in one place was great! I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Sarah, the venue coordinator. She helped us run the day and made everything so smooth, we had the best time ever on our day thanks to the team!

We looked at a lot of venues in Indianapolis and Scottish Rite and Sarah blew us away! The venue itself is beautiful, they were so easy to work with, great communicators, and having everything in one place was great! I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Sarah, the venue coordinator. She helped us run the day and made everything so smooth, we had the best time ever on our day thanks to the team!

I’ll preface this by saying that the Scottish Rite Cathedral is a beautiful place to host an event! We were blown away by the building and architecture. However, when booking the Scottish Rite, I was booking under the condition that no other event take place the day of my wedding. I had a feeling what could occur if that did happen. I was told that they would do that for me and was reassured that they would not book any other event that day. So I went ahead and booked my wedding venue. I was also told there would not be any Christmas decorations. My husband and I spent a fortune on decorating the place Christmas themed for our wedding. Two weeks before my wedding I did a walk through of the cathedral and there was Christmas decorations everywhere!!! I asked if they were staying up and they said yes, if you would like them to! How convenient after we spent all of that money. Anyway a week before my wedding I was told that an event was booked at the Scottish Rite the same day as my wedding and that I would have to be quiet when entering the Tiler’s room when taking photos. Fast forward to my wedding day after ceremony my bridal party and I were going towards the Tiler’s room (front entrance of cathedral) to take our main photos when I was told I did not have access to that room and could not take photos there!!! That is where my photos with my children were going to be as well as bridal party photos. I got none of the photos I dreamed of due to their selfishness! I later found out that they knew about this other event 3 months prior to my wedding. But I was only told one week before that I still had access to the room but would have to be quiet. On my wedding day I was told I couldn’t even go in there!! They walked myself and my bridal party outside in the cold around the building and along the street to take photos in front of the building. Despite all this, the wedding was amazing and the venue was incredible. The treatment we received on the day of the wedding was not.

We could not ask for a more beautiful, stunning venue for our daughter's wedding. This place is incredible!! We cannot say enough good things about our experience with The Scottish Rite. From the very first correspondence all the way through to our event we dealt with a profession team that truly cares about their client's experience. The planning process was efficient and detail-oriented making sure we were covering all our bases, but also making sure we were spending our time effectively. Grace and the rest of the team are excellent at their jobs and made sure we had the absolute perfect wedding experience. This venue speak for itself. All of my guests were asking \"How did you find this place?\". My absolute favorite part of doing the first dance on the main floor with all of the guests over-looking on the balcony, truly magical. Could not have imagined a more elegant venue. Thank you for all the great work you did leading up to and during our special day!!!

One of the most beautiful venues in town! If you are looking for an elegant setting for your reception, the Scottish Rite is it. Nothing can top being on the balcony and seeing your son or daughter share their first dance with their new spouse. Grace, the event manager a the Scottish Rite, is outstanding. She wants your event to be exceptional and her service is exceptional. She is quick to respond and helped us navigate adjusting our daughter's reception for COVID-19 safety precautions.

One of the most beautiful venues in town! If you are looking for an elegant setting for your reception, the Scottish Rite is it. Nothing can top being on the balcony and seeing your son or daughter share their first dance with their new spouse. Grace, the event manager a the Scottish Rite, is outstanding. We just had our wedding at the SRC and everything was AMAZING! We chose this venue because it stands alone. It is beautiful on its own and does not need a lot of decoration. We had and are still having so many people say that it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to before. When we booked the SRC over a year ago they started going through a lot of changes after we signed the contract. We were very nervous about it as they changed caterers, and some of the staff we had originally met with. However, we are SO glad these changes occurred. It was all so much better than it was before and the food was perfect. Grace who now works with the SRC is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable! They should not let her go! It was a perfect, perfect day.

I set up a meeting and went to look at the venue, go over pricing, seating, etc. I was told the person doing our tour would be on vacation after our showing was done and to email or call them with any questions while she was away. I was waiting on a new list for catering to finalize things and I was told I would have it that following Monday. I called twice and left messages and even emailed three times with no response ever. I had to choose a different venue!

We used the Scottish Rite Cathedral (the theater room) for our ceremony. From day one, our event planner was kind, helpful, and accommodating. She took a lot of stress off of me during the planning! The venue was completely beautiful, all of our guests LOVED it and thought we spent MUCH more than we did to have our ceremony there. One of the great things was that there was so much going on aesthetically in the theater that we didn't have to do much extra decorating (we added candles, an aisle runner, & 2 floral arrangements at the altar) to make it beautiful. I would absolutely use this venue again; A+ for service and location!!

We worked with Katie and it was effortless. She took care of everything so promptly! We only had our ceremony at this location because it is a little pricey, but well worth every penny. The Scottish Rite is an absolutely beautiful venue! Katie is also very wonderful to work with. Each time we went in to see her – it was like she was only planning our wedding. The SRC was simply a perfect wedding venue for us. The price was surprisingly reasonable compared to other venues. The interior is beautiful and the staff are incredibly helpful and tentative. Would highly recommend!!

The venue was beautiful and historic, the staff was friendly and helpful from the beginning and most importantly on the day of when I didn't have to worry about a thing, and the food was absolutely delicious! While a beautiful facility, we had to deal with several last minute problems related to other events at the facility for the same date. All issues can be attributed to the exclusive caterer, but you should be aware of such issues moving forward with the facility.

I only had my wedding there. It was very pretty. There was also a reception there the same day and even though I booked first they seemed to care about the reception more than helping to make sure my wedding was taken care of.
