We used the Sea Crest Hotel for travel/sleep accommodations for our guests for our wedding . Lauren, Assistant Director of Sales at the Sea Crest, was very kind and helpful during the entire planning process. She was able to provide us with a room block for our wedding guests for a 2 night stay at a great price. I couldnât recommend the sea crest enough for your special day! This was the best decision I made in regard to my wedding. From the location, to the staff, to the food, to the weekend activities, every single person raved about it being the best wedding theyâve been to. The weekend was incredibly fun from the welcome party bonfire on Friday to the night of the wedding and the beach day the following day. The best part is that everything is on site and all of your guests can enjoy the weekend all together! You are able to get married on the beach, the courtyard, or in the ballroom with the cocktail hour in the courtyard snd reception in the beautiful oceanfront ballroom. In this location you get the amazing sunset on the west side of falmouth that you really canât get at other cape venues. THE FOOD was amazing! Every single one of my guests said that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding, which was a top priority to me! Best part about it is that it is much more affordable than other cape venues. It truly was a âwedding weekendâ that everyone is still talking about! Reviewed on 28-08-2023

In fact, we were so sure that it was the first and last venue we looked at! We immediately fell in love with the scenery and the elegant yet casual beach environment that Sea Crest provided, and knew it would provide a gorgeous location for our fall wedding. We planned our wedding all the way from Maryland, so having Jennifer, our coordinator, there to answer our questions and ease the planning process was much appreciated. The day of the wedding was perfect. My parents, who took over responsibilities and check-ins day of, raved of the staff and how attentive, kind and organized they were. There were a few minor mishaps, but those were attended to appropriately and as a priority among the staff. Everyone was very cordial to my husband and I as well, making us feel like a King and Queen day of. We were married in the courtyard during golden hour. It was absolutely beautiful. The sun was setting during our cocktail hour, providing a perfect background for guest photos. At the reception, the large picturesque windows along the Ocean View room allowed our guests to witness the final moments of the sunset as they were finding their seats. Our photographer was also able to capture the perfect photos of my husband and I during this time, so perfect that they almost look unreal. My only complaint is that I wish Jennifer stayed through dinner. Her work was done after the ceremony and cocktail hour, as the reception was already set up and running, but there were a few questions or things that we wish Jennifer was there for to attend to during our reception, especially regarding our timeline with toasts/dinner/dancing. No complaints and mishaps with the food though- my guests absolutely raved about it! Also having the cake be included in the wedding package was ideal, my husband and I barely thought about it after our tasting and it was a beautiful surprise to see sitting in the reception room- also very delicious! To all future brides- I would recommend getting a suite for the bridal party to get ready in. Our suite had a large window looking right out at the ocean, a beautiful serene background for some of my final moments before the wedding- great natural light for makeup too!Overall, I would choose Sea Crest as our venue again and again. I could not have asked for a more perfect place with THE BEST coordinator in the whole world. This was not a hard choice when I ever saw the oceanview room I couldn't even fathom looking anywhere else. For one of the biggest days of our life, this was the spot. Julie on the other hand, I seriously do not know what I would have done without her. Every single detail was amazingly perfect because of her. I had an extremely long weird engagement that seemed to take forever to get to the most perfect day ever but we finally had that day lol! Anything we needed at anytime Julie was on it. When we got closer to the day we exchanged cell #'s that came in handy a few times. Julie this Julie that within seconds it was either resolved or a solution to anything was there from her personally or someone she sent on the mission. Now for the food. HOLY COW Chef created the most perfect cocktail hour apps (out on the courtyard) to the perfectly shaped garden salad no one wanted to cut into because it was a masterpiece to the meal itself (we chose the filet and the chicken). I think I almost licked my plate as well as anyone else who got the filet (which was about 75% of the guests!!). I can say this from going to many different weddings the past few years at various places (I was hopeful the food would be as good as it was at the tasting but also in the back of my head thinking there is no way with that big of quantity, quality being there). Boy was I wrong!! All across the entire board, 135 guests being served synchronized per table, the food cooked so perfectly delicious and absolutely beautifully! We could not asked for better service. We finished the night with an after-hour snack type bar with pizzas and french fries. This really completed our perfect evening. The guests were so happy to find comfort food especially after drinking all night lol! One of the bridal captains overheard me saying I was going to change and she came right over and said if you are go now so you can grab some food so I whispered back can you steal me a cheese pizza to bring back and boy that is what she did! Tucked me away an absolutely delicious veggie and cheese pizza that I munched on on the way back to my room haha! As far as our wedding day and night suite went (HOLY COW!) amazing. We had a first floor walk right out to the beach suite that we all got ready in that morning. The rooms are beautifully updated with all the amenities needed. 2 bathrooms and a living space, it was perfect and suggested by Julie to book that one. I am so glad she did as they were brand new and just came out on the website. All in all if you are looking for the all wrapped up perfect Cape Cod beach wedding venue with the most incredible sunsets no matter the rain or shine this is the spot. Katie Reynolds(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-05-2019 The Sea Crest is an absolutely beautiful venue and did a wonderful job day of! The staff was helpful and polite! The only reason I feel I canât give the venue 5 stars is due to poor communication. We had a very hard time with our room block and later found out another wedding (not held at the venue but reserving a block as well) was the reason. I feel we should have had priority due to actually holding our wedding there. A big reason we chose the Sea Crest was the fact they only do one wedding a weekend...so there being another bridal party there was disappointing. We also had to change where we were taking pictures due to this other party. In my opinion Jen should have handled this situation better. However, none of this hindered our day and we didnât have any other worries. I donât think we could have picked a prettier location, the sunsets at the Sea Crest canât be beat! Reviewed on 04-06-2019
Kelly Salois(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-07-2018 We absolutely fell in love with the scenery of the venue and every promise made at our initial tour of Sea Crest Beach. Unfortunately, this took a downward spiral as our big day approached. It started with our room block. As soon as invitations were delivered to our guests, the trouble really started. We had guests turned away because they were told there werenât any rooms available even though Jennifer assured me there were plenty of rooms. Some guests were told there was no room block under our name or room block code and so they ended up paying full price for a room. Jennifer said there was a miscommunication with reception because they arenât housed in Falmouth, but said she would take care of it. We continued to have guests turned away throughout the entire process. We were disappointed to learn that our rehearsal dinner room (Shutters) was given away without notice because we failed to sign a contract we were never given or made aware of. Jennifer said she apologized âifâ she failed to mention it. Due to this error, we we provided a complimentary bon fire and 10 percent off the rehearsal dinner food bill. We were promised this would be the only hiccup. We were hopeful things would get better, but sadly things only got worse. The night of our rehearsal, we were served the wrong rehearsal dinner menu. They served a more expensive meal. We were told there was nothing they could do and wouldnât even provide us the difference in meal price. Jennifer told us because she provided us 10 percent off the bill (due to the earlier mentioned error on her part), there was nothing more she could give. On the day of our wedding I was hopeful things would get better, but they didnât. We paid extra to have a lemonade and water station on the boardwalk for guests while being seated for the ceremony. The station did not come out until after all guests were seated and 2 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. The bridal lounge was clearly under construction. It smelled musty, didnât have full length mirrors, and had a maintenance man walking in and out. They prepared the wrong signature drink. It was corrected, but because they were not prepared for sangria, they ran out early in the evening. Jennifer left early without letting the bride or groom know. When I mentioned this to her she apologized that âwe didnât hear herâ tell us she was leaving. We made a request to have the leftover cookies/rice krispie treats brought to the late night snack area, but that didnât happen. Overall, we truly loved the beauty of the venue. We had a wonderful day and didnât let these errors ruin our day. The weather was perfect and our guests raved about the food. If I could do it all over, I would hire a personal wedding planner to make sure every detail was right. Jennifer simply did not show she was qualified to tend to the details of the wedding. Maybe she was spread too thin? Maybe she wears too many hats? Regardless, we spent a lot of money, way too much for the amount of errors that occurred.I was hopeful that Jennifer would make things right. I was hopeful for a sincere apology. I didnât receive either. Jennifer put blame on everyone, but herself (including the bride and groom). At minimum I should have a refund of the lemonade station and refund on the difference of rehearsal dinner menus. I brought this to the attention of the GM, Clark but never received any response.Thinking of getting married at the Seacrest? Hire your own wedding planner! Reviewed on 03-12-2018

They host a lot of functions, which is great for efficiency and level of service from the staff, but don't expect to feel like the most important thing to them that day. Reviewed on 07-07-2018

We fell in love with the scenery and backdrop and everyone was raving about the sunset out the back window and the picture-perfect day. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the courtyard and the reception in the OceanView Ballroom. The service during our reception was so attentive and prompt and our vision was beyond what we could have imagined. I felt very confident working with Jennifer that she would help my day run smoothly and go as I planned it to. The only thing we wished we could have changed was the location of the cake during the reception. It was off to the side and most of our guests missed when we cut it, but I'm sure we could have asked to move it if we wanted. All in all, the Sea Crest staff is responsive, friendly, and so helpful, including the day after when it took us forever to pack up all our flowers and DIY things. Absolutely highly recommend the Sea Crest for your wedding! Beautiful and so much fun! Everyone loved it! Reviewed on 31-07-2017

The locaton was breathtakingly beautiful and my guests could not stop talking about how they have never been to a more gorgeous wedding. It's also dog friendly by the way, which was perfect because we got to have our two dogs with us and in our wedding! I had my ceremony on the beach, my cocktail hour on the courtyard overlooking the beach, and the reception in the ocean ballroom. Everything was such a dream and the perfect backdrop! Jennifer was my coordinator and was so kind, professional, and easy to work with. Planning with her was so easy! The entire team at the Sea Crest supporting my wedding were also unbelievable with their service level. Every person working was truly working to give us the best day ever! They were so attentive and even set food aside after the wedding for my now husband and I knowing that with talking to our guests we would not have much time to eat which was just so sweet. After the wedding, team members even went onto the beach to set up chairs for a private after party. The food by the way- top notch! Just as good if not better than our tasting. We had a stationed dinner that was excellent - especially the pasta station! Our guests all told us they've never eaten more or had better food at a wedding before. We even had pizza brought out at the end of the night that was just the perfect ending. Our wedding turned into a weekend away for our guests and it was amazing to have the beach bar and pool for a vacation feel. The morning after our wedding, we hosted a breakfast buffet for our guests that was also fantastic. I would highly recommend the Sea Crest to anyone looking for a beautiful, Cape Cod destination wedding. I had my wedding at this venue and it ended up being a nightmare. I have no idea how this place only had good reviews. It must be because we are practical people and had a small wedding and didn't spend thousands. The event planner was horrible and could of cared less. The courtyard is the perfect setting for your ceremony. Our reception was in the Ocean View room. We had issues with the set up as it was not correct but there wasn't anything that could be done about it by the time we knew (as we were being introduced). This threw off our seating chart big time. Our guests raved about the food and view. The catering dept on site was very responsive through the entire planning process. Caroline Cahill(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-05-2015 The Sea Crest Beach Hotel provided the perfect location for our summer wedding. All of our guests stayed at the hotel and we had a full weekend planned around the venue. Friday evening my in-laws hosted an incredible lobster and clam bake on the beach. The Sea Crest set up a gorgeous tent on the sand and we hosted over 200 people for dinner and drinks. Afterwards we all piled into Red's. \rThe next day we hosted our cocktail hour outside on the patio. It was beautiful. We had tons of high top tables and we could see the ocean without being blown away by the wind. \rThe reception was held in several of the ballrooms and the staff at Sea Crest had done an amazing job with the set up. We had a very large wedding (250 on the dot) but they helped make sure the space didn't feel cramped. Their Ops guy even added extra space to the dance floor beforehand. The dinner was delicious and they accommodated our large crowd with 3 bars. \rAfter the reception, we closed out Red's and then discovered that the Sea Crest had set up a bunch of chairs out on the beach for us and our friends to continue the party. It allowed us to keep the fun going without disturbing the other guests (which we were very conscious of). \rThe next morning we hosted a brunch at the same ballroom from the night before. The light was beautiful and the food delicious (and perfect to help hangovers). \rWhile the beauty of the Sea Crest is an obvious selling point, its staff is truly second-to-none. Everyone was so helpful, thoughtful and professional. From the people greeting us at the entrance, to the staff at the bar, to the special waitresses assigned specifically to the bride, groom and our parents, everyone made our weekend absolutely perfect and carefree. We would be remiss to mention Caitlin, the on-site coordinator, who answered all of our questions in the year leading up to the day and made sure everything ran smoothly. She runs a tight ship and does so with a smile. \rThe Sea Crest was such a perfect place to get married that I'm hoping more of my friends will follow suit so I can attend as a guest! She make everything super easy and always had a smile on her face. It was truly like she could read my mind and was always a step ahead of me. \rThe venue itself is perfect. We had the rehearsal dinner in Shutters, a beach ceremony (barefoot of course!), cocktail hour with steel drums in the courtyard, and then a reception with 120 guests in the Ocean View Room. All weekend, our guests were commenting how perfect the venue was and how it felt like they were on a vacation- in fact, many guests booked extra nights and make a holiday for themselves!\rOur young nieces and nephews loved the pools. It helped tire them out enough before the wedding! The beach, outdoor bars, and activities were a perfect way for our guests to kill time before our ceremony. The groom was out paddle boarding with his groomsmen while I was getting ready!\rThe food, service, and the cake package (through Montilios) were all amazing! Our guests kept commenting on how good the food was. I have a gluten-allergy and the Chef took special care of all guests with allergies. We had cookies and milk, an ice cream bar, and brick-oven pizza brought out towards the end of the reception. Everybody was too busy dancing to eat all the foot so they boxed up the pizza and cookies for guests to take back to their rooms!\rAfter the wedding, we went across the hall to the bar at Red's for the after-party. Once we closed Red's, the younger crowd went out to the beach for the after-after party. A staff member told us we could use the beach chairs and handed us a sleeve of plastic cups and told us just make sure there is no glass on the beach, to clean up, and to have fun!\rI would book with the Sea Crest again in a heartbeat and wouldn't change a thing. Ching(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-05-2014 From the moment we toured Sea Crest Beach Hotel and met Jennifer, we knew she was the right person for the job and that the Sea Crest was the right place for our wedding weekend. Jennifer proved that all to be true through her exceptional communication and extra efforts she made along the way to make sure we were happy and well taken care of! \r\rHere are some highlights from our experience with Jennifer:\râ˘\tJenniferâs communication style was outstanding. Even when she didn't have the answers, she made sure that she kept us in the loop with updates and delivered a reasonable response or alternative solutions in a timely manner. As a bride that was so important to me! \râ˘\tHer attention to detail was outstanding. She helped us maximize our budget and helped us select things that were powerfully impactful on our guests. The little touches like adding the chowder to dinner and the late night snacks made such a huge difference and she had such tact in catching things before they turned into a catastrophic issue. She was also outstanding at explaining things from the staff perspective so that it made sense to us and so we could further appreciate all of the efforts being made from all angles. \râ˘\tJenniferâs thoughtfulness was the calm to my storm. There were moments I was about to melt down and she would come through in the most amazing ways. It really showed us that she was more than our coordinator- but truly cared about who we were as people and what we were experiencing as we navigated the crazy process of getting married! \râ˘\tJennifer is a person who I would probably be great friends with if we lived closer! Her personality is genuine, she didn't sugar coat anything for us, and she helped us call the shots with our feet firm on the ground. Even when 80% rain was threatening to wash our beach ceremony dream away, she managed to steer us toward the positive- and it paid off. Our day was absolutely stunning - complete with the fairy-tale sunset we dreamed of! \r\rHere are some highlights from our experience with the Venue:\râ˘\tThe staff were outstanding! From all the way at the top with Clark the General Manager to Chris at the front desk, to Nancy our banquet manager, to all the outstanding people who work at Redâs and helped us celebrate for 5 days! ALL of them went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and VERY well taken care of! They truly encompass the philosophy of outstanding customer service!\râ˘\tThe venue is naturally beautiful â but itâs also meticulously taken care of. From super clean restrooms, to amazing maid services to even the sand on the beach- the place is STUNNING! Worth way more than youâll pay for in just the experience alone!\râ˘\tThe food is to die for; Chef Daniel Kenney takes great pride in his menu and met with us personally to walk us through the items. This is truly beautiful food and our guests were blown away with both cocktail hour and their meals! The salads were a work or art, the clam chowder is the BEST youâll ever have and the entrees will leave you full and satisfied!\r\rIf you really want to see your money go far (especially on Cape Cod) and be treated like youâre the most important person in the world â then Sea Crest is the place for you! Lindsay Member(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-09-2013 I would not suggest having your wedding here. If you are going to spend this kind of money on a beach wedding, go to Ocean Edge instead where they are professional. Initially the packages look a little cheaper but they nickel and dime you for every small detail.\r I had my wedding here in September and the resort was beautiful but I was extremely disappointed with the execution of my wedding. I was made so many false promises that they never followed through with. You can tell the catering sales staff works off commission because they will hit you up for every penny possible. it is very hard to have anything custom and if you do, they will upcharge you so much. If you have your wedding here, don't plan on having anything elaborate (signature cocktails, larger dance floor, specific menu items) because they will charge you an outrageous amount of money.\rMy husband and I were 26 and 27 so we were a younger crowd and we were all having a great time and at one point in the night they told us that we were too loud. It was a wedding, with a DJ!!! I don't understand what they expected, we were all just dancing and singing it was nothing out of control. On top of that, the dance floor was so small that people were dancing on the rug because there wasn't enough room. \rThe day after my wedding, the wedding coordinator called me to tell me they wanted to charge me $3.00 more per person for the cake after I was already charged 3.00 per person and we signed a contract. We refused to pay it but that was some nerve they had after we spent over $25,000 in food and beverage alone.\rThey had put the top of our cake in the freezer and the next day my mom went down to get it and they \"couldn't find it!\" How do you just lose the top of someone's cake!? My guess is that they threw it away since we refused to pay an extra $3.00 per person for the cake the day after the wedding. Very professional of them. Reviewed on 07-10-2013

S.C. beat out the other 2 venues we looked at by a mile.\r\rKathleen was our coordinator (who just recently retired), she was incredible. She booked the courtyard outside for the ceremony & the ocean view room for the reception. Our rehearsal dinner was held somewhere else.\r\rThe look, the feel of S.C. is so relaxing and beautiful. Kathleen went over every detail with us throughout the planning the process. She made sure to cover everything w/ us: the food, lodging, the ceremony, the reception, and brunch the following day.\r\rFirst - the food. AMAZING. Our tasting was incredible. Private room, at sunset, with her and the chef. We tried 4 entrees, soup, and salad. For the wedding, we decided on a variety of hors d'ouvres and a plated dinner w/ 2 entree choices. My husband and I were assigned 2 waiters for the wedding who made sure we got hors d'ouvres & made sure we sat down & ate our dinner. They were amazing. Our guests (100ppl) told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had!\r\rLodging - incredible. I booked an oceanfront suite so my bridal party would have a place to stay the night before the wedding & have space to get ready on the wedding day. Worked out perfectly. Lodging at S.C. definitely is a little pricey, but worth it. We had numerous guests stay there at a 10% disc. rate & they loved it. The new rooms are to die for and you get access to the beach, pools, etc. during your stay. We relaxed in the hot tub the morning of the wedding & jumped in the ocean! The staff at S.C. were so friendly and took care of any request we had (e.g. tidying up the suite during the wedding, ordering my bridal party & I lunch on the wedding day & delivering it to us). The S.C. is a great, relaxing stay...they also gave us a welcome gift basket!\r\rThe Ceremony - breath taking. Kathleen worked w/ us on every detail. The rehearsal went so smoothly b/c she made sure we all listened. The set-up in the courtyard made me want to cry (ok, it did make me cry). It's the perfect setting for a sunny day, right at the beach. My husband made a Chuppah for us for the wedding & S.C. let us store it at the back of the courtyard all weekend. S.C. worked so well with our vendors & it was picture perfect! \r\rThe Reception - Awesome! Food was the best, service was the best, set-up was the best. We dropped our supplies off the night before & everything was set-up as we wanted. They even gave us more room at no extra cost! We found the placement of the welcome table to be a little weird (not at the entrance), but it worked out great. We had an open bar the whole night w/ the plated dinner - the staff was amazing, making sure to check w/ us on certain things, etc. At the end of the night, they did a great job packing up things for us!\r\rThe brunch - loved it all my life. Kathleen reserved tables for my family & some friends the morning after. Brunch was delicious, service let us hang around as the closed it up so we could continue to mingle.\r\rAll of the staff at S.C. are awesome. We had some difficulty w/ reservations at times, but overall - esp. the head staff, so amazing. On our wedding day, everyone congratulated us, helped us, etc. We loved them!\r\rThe Sea Crest is definitely recommended...it made for the perfect Cape Cod venue!! Reviewed on 12-10-2012

The hotel staff did an excellent job keeping the beach clear and not letting beach guests use the boardwalk just in front of the courtyard. The staff that stayed with the wedding party was very attentive and professional, along with the servers at the reception. I would recommend the hotel be sure to go over all your details in advance, so there is no confusion. They do not have a day of wedding planner, but do have their catering manager available to assist. I hired my own wedding planner through Plan on Forever Events and highly recommend hiring a day of planner. She took care of all the details and I didn't have to worry. My guests loved the outside cocktail hour and the beautiful view from the Ocean View Dining room (where the reception was held). We made a long weekend for ourselves and our guests and they loved it! We signed a contract with the Sea Crest in May of 11 and then they changed their prices for 2012 and wouldn't honor the 2011 prices for which we originally booked. The other advice I have about this hotel and any other when booking your room block is make sure you understand the EXACT information that your guests will nee dto get the discounted rate because we didn't know our guests had to book online or thourgh the front desk at the hotel (not the 1800 #) and we had some difficulty there. But I have to say that all in all this was an awesome place to have a wedding.
