The Seacoast Science Center was the absolute perfect location for my sister's wedding! She had very specific requests for her wedding vision; on the ocean, under a tent, in October, and SSC delivered and then some! It was the perfect blank slate that truly was a magical fairytale! Huge thanks to Hollie & the entire SSC team that were so kind, caring, and supportive throughout the entire process! SSC will forever hold a special place in our hearts! Reviewed on 16-10-2023
Kary Pardy(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-08-2021 What a beautiful location! We instantly fell in love with the views at the SSC and loved that we could also offer our guests access to the museum. The staff was fantastic and so helpful, and they were pros at hosting weddings. The location also comes with a nice tent, which is great, and you can reserve getting -ready rooms in the museum which makes the whole experience quite charming. They also had plenty of parking if you need it and are so convenient to Rye and Portsmouth. We would recommend them to anyone. Thank you SSC! Reviewed on 21-09-2021
Brigid B.(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-10-2018 My wife and I got married at the SSC last month. Can't beat those ocean views! We loved having the freedom to choose own vendors, which made it the wedding that WE wanted! Choosing our vendors gave us some price flexibility which was helpful, and also all of the vendors (food, alcohol, etc.) seem to have worked there before, so it was fairly seamless. There was some staff turnover during our planning process, so some paperwork and details slipped through the cracks in the transition. However, Andrew (no longer with SSC) and Fletcher were both very nice and easy to work with, and the day of worked out just fine. All in all, we had a beautiful, fun wedding. SSC was easy to book (just do it early!) and stay in contact with, and the tent was great. Reviewed on 19-11-2018

Isabelle MacDonald(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-06-2018 We are beach obsessed and knew that we wanted to be close to the water for our wedding day. Seacoast Science Center was the first place we visited and we left there with a date booked for 2018. Though it was a hassle hiring all of our own vendors (in fact, this is where most of our stress came from...catering, bartending, rentals, setup/cleanup), the views, feels, and atmosphere made all the trouble completely and totally worth it. Andrew was patient with us as we navigated these vendors and was available when we needed him. Our photos came out absolutely beautiful because the backdrop to our day was simply breathtaking. Having a venue where people are outside, there is room to move around, there is a salty air breeze, and there is magic hour sunlight on the water is THE BEST. Reviewed on 08-07-2018
Elisabeth Holden(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-08-2017 The Seacoast Science Center was an absolutely stunning location for our September wedding. The day-of staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and we couldn't have been happier. There was some staff turnover during our planning process, and it seemed that some paperwork and details slipped through the cracks in the transition, but Andrew, the coordinator we ended up working with, quickly got on top of everything. While it was a lot of work to have to rent all chairs, tables, etc., and make sure that we had covered all the details ourselves, it let us completely customize the experience we wanted our guests to have. The SSC also worked seamlessly with their preferred vendors, and it was clear they had all worked together a lot. If you're willing to cover the details yourself, I can't say enough about what a unique and beautiful location the Seacoast Science Center was. Reviewed on 14-01-2018

Laura Mafera(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-09-2015 We were looking for a seaside venue for our wedding. My husband and I fell in love with the venue as soon as we saw it. You can beat the back drop! Amanda was incredibly helpful throughout our planning process. There is at least one person on site to help the day of the event. It is a little on the pricey side, but it was well worth it! Reviewed on 16-10-2015

My husband and I got married at the Seacoast Science Center on July 31st. The weather was beautiful and it was the most picturesque scene for the ceremony.
