Andrea, Sally and the Sequoyah team are incredible. From start to finish, they were supportive, accommodating, professional, with incredible quality. During the planning process, I don't know how many emails, calls and texts I sent their way and every time they got back to me quickly and provided me all information, help and suggestions I asked for. The food was fantastic. Our tasting was exceptional and I went into our wedding confident that our guests would be served delicious quality food, and boy did they deliver.On the day itself, my coordinator was a disaster, and there were a few moments where I thought I might lose it. But their team stepped up and several of the staff members went out of their way to correct the mistakes and ensure my vision became a reality. I can't say enough wonderful things about the team.Stunning, classic venue with gorgeous photo spots and a powerhouse team. They were worth every penny.

If you are looking for a venue with green, rolling hills, tall trees, and a view of the Bay, this venue is for you. The Sequoyah Country Club is a beautiful little secret, tucked away in the Oakland Hills. The setup and floor plan is unique in that each activity you have planned on your wedding day timeline can be in different rooms that flow with each other. We had no problem with moving our guests from happy hour, to banquet, to the dance floor. Your guests will enjoy the classic ambiance while chowing down on their amazing food! We still have guests talking about the tender and juicy prime rib and the savory salmon. Because we wanted to add a traditional, Filipino dish, they were able to make us a lechon, or a roasted pig. Our guests LOVED the special touch!I gave 4 stars because while we were planning our wedding, they had transitioned to different catering and events managers. The contact person who we started with decided to change jobs. For a while we were without a wedding venue coordinator, and the venue was in the middle of hiring a new manager. While in limbo, the general manager answered any questions we did have. However, I felt he was disconnected as he was not from Oakland, let alone the Bay Area. Luckily, they re-hired their previous events and catering manager, so she was very familiar with the venue and picked up where we left off.Looking back on out day, we were so happy and pleased with the way everything turned out

The Sequoyah Country Club is PERFECTION. Take one look at this place, and I guarantee, you'll fall in love. The club's view from the top of the Oakland Hills is absolutely breathtaking. The grounds are well kept, green and beautiful. The inside of the club itself is absolutely dreamy. My wedding was held at Sequoyah this past Saturday, and it was everything I dreamt of and more. The staff there were absolutely wonderful! Patricia and Sally, who assisted with all of the planning, orders, etc. were friendly, communicative, helpful and so very kind. The catering staff and bartenders were such professionals! And the food was divine - everyone raved about it! The Seqouyah Country Club was absolutely perfect. I recommend this wedding venue to anyone and everyone getting married in the SF Bay Area.

During our first visit to Sequoyah, we both already knew this was the place where we wanted to get married. We wanted a classic and romantic style for the ceremony and reception, and Sequoyah's golf course and club house were both beautiful and matched our style perfectly. Everyone we worked with were also amazing - they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed before the wedding and made sure that the day went by seamlessly.

I'm not sure how I stumbled across this venue, but I'm so glad that I did. Sequoyah’s event coordinators, Amy and Brian were fantastic to work with. The clubhouse, built in 1913, is gorgeous and large enough for a big wedding, it accommodated 120 easily, with room to spare. While it is a country club, membership is not necessary to rent the venue, neither is member sponsorship. We had our ceremony and reception at this venue.\r\r \rAs I have said previously, Amy and Brian were great to work with and very flexible and responsive. The catering options are incredibly comprehensive, with almost too many choices! It was important to us to have a vegan entree, since a number of our friends and family members are vegetarian and vegan. While there were no vegan options on their sample menus, they easily accommodated this request, by adjusting one of their regular vegetarian entrees, and our guests were thrilled (the vegetable napoleon with portobello mushrooms, it was delicious)! My parents have told me that their friends keep telling them that the food at our wedding was the best they've ever had at a wedding, which I think definitely says something!\r\rI don’t really know what else to say, my family, friends, husband, and I had the most wonderful time at our wedding, everything flowed really well and the food and atmosphere were fabulous!\r

Our wedding was perfect. Even with small hiccups along the way the staff at Sequoyah made sure none of the guests knew what was happening and that everything went smoothly. The food was amazing and the service was awesome!

Sequoyah Country Club is top notch. We were absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our experience with them. We met with the catering director a few months before our wedding date, she had many suggestions, and pictures to show us, and with the rest of the staff executed everything perfectly. The chef prepared food that was exquisite, and our guests were extremely impressed. I would recommend Sequoyah Country Club to anyone and everyone. It is a magical place.

Sequoyah Country Club is perfect for a wedding ceremony and reception! It's beautiful, has an older country club feel and is huge. THere is a beautiful view of the bay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The price for everything is so affordable. I absolutely loved having my wedding there and would not have changed a thing. The food was amazing as well!
