Serendipity Reviews
Heather Gelsinger(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-04-2014 When people ask me how my wedding went, I say \"I wouldn't change a thing about it!\" Serendipity is a wonderful full-service wedding venue that accommodated all of our needs on a budget. The owners are willing to create a truly unique experience for their clients. They did a good job of listening to what I wanted but also letting me know what was traditional and what would really enhance our big day. I really appreciated their input and guidance because I wasn't sure of every detail I wanted to include in our big day (you have to make a lot of decisions!). They literally say \"You're the boss\" with a smile on their face if you want something specific.\r\rI hired Jenny (one of the co-owners) to be my wedding planner and everything went incredibly well. The venue is well-sized (we had about 100 guests) and decorations really aren't necessary. I really like how the ceiling glows when the mini-chandeliers are lit. There was a full bar available (we bought a couple of kegs and had a signature drink which went over really well with guests). A security guard is a part of the venue fee which was nice because everyone felt very safe. A cleaning service is also a part of the venue fee so at the end of the night, everyone that came to the wedding left without having to clean a thing (trust me: no one wants to clean up anything at the end of the night so this was a must!).\r\rMy advice on what brides should seriously consider:\r\rHire Jenny as your wedding planner (her fee isn't that expensive for the effort she gives you)\r\rGet the party bus vendor at Serendipity to take you and your wedding party around town to take pictures (it was hot and windy on our wedding day, we NEVER could have gone to as many places as we did without the party bus, we also used the bus to take guests back to their hotel at the end of the night, we got A LOT of value from this service without breaking the bank. Tip: bring beverages so everyone can have fun)\r\rUse Chinell's florals (I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she created the most beautiful arrangement for my bouquet that I have ever seen)\r\rHire DJ Dreux from dUBL-d Entertainment (I gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear and he filled in gaps with other music really well, he kept the party going, he was the MC and did a great job keeping things organized and moving smoothly)\r\rUse NOTO Burrito for food (we love Mexican food and they did a great job, everyone loved the food, it came at a good price point, we were very happy with them, their store is next to the venue so you can try out their food a bunch of times beforehand and it's nice that we can go there anytime we want and relive a part of our big day)\r\rHire Red Barn Photography (they took a lot of pictures of us and in unique locations which is exactly what I wanted, they also give you the rights to the pictures as a part of their fee which is a really good deal because you can print your pictures anywhere)\r\rI can't say enough nice things about Serendipity. Everything went very smoothly. I'm very appreciative of all our vendors and the hard work they put into our big day. When I say \"I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding,\" I really mean it. Audrey Thompson(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-01-2014 This venue works well for wedding receptions and it's beautiful. Very little extra decorations needed aside from table decor. Reviewed on 26-02-2014
Jessica Emerson(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2012 We recently had our wedding reception at Serendipity and loved it! The only decorating we had to do was center pieces for the tables because the whole building has a beautiful vintage chic decor of its own! The tables are round with black table cloths and black chairs which we really liked. And the ceiling has cool tin tiles with awesome chandeliers. You are allowed to bring in your own catering which was perfect for us, and they have a full bar on one side of the building. Reviewed on 14-09-2012
