Located in Geneseo, IL, in the Quad City area, Shadow Lake is a stunning wedding venue situated on a private, romantic plot of land. With more than 140 acres of sprawling countryside and a 90-acre lake, there is plenty to explore here. It is the ideal choice for couples looking to experience their wedding day in nature. A picturesque ceremony can be held by the water's edge, before guests journey to the reception to dance under the stars. Should soon-to-be-weds wish for some cover from the elements, there is also a high-end tent on the property, which can house up to 275 people. The tent has an open-plan layout, clean white drapery, and sides that can be rolled up or down. When it comes to the services and amenities available at Shadow Lake, couples will be able to avail themselves of a variety of handy options. There is space and electricity enough to accommodate any choice of caterer or DJ, there are onsite bathrooms, and couples can even invite food trucks onsite. Shadow Lake will also provide all the drinks and alcohol required on the day. Additionally, the venue is wheelchair accessible for maximum convenience.

I recently had my wedding at Shadow Lake. They were so wonderful and accommodating and did such great job making my big day so special. The venue is gorgeous and they went above and beyond to make my vision everything I hoped it would be! The bartenders were on it and kept our guests happy all night. I cannot recommend this venue enough! 15/10

I could not say enough amazing things about shadow lake. The venue is beautiful and the owners are amazing! They made sure the venue was finished in the small time frame we had and our wedding day was more than anything i could have dreamed of! I would 10/10 recommend them 100 times over!

Tracey and her husband are very personable. They go up and beyond on making the customer feel comfortable explaining every detail that they can accommodate at their venue. They took the time to show us every detail available and was quick to respond to any questions we had. It was easy on making the decision to book my daughters wedding at their lovely venue. The venue is amazing with a lake, arbor for a ceremony, fire pit, barn and trees. All will make for a beautiful atmosphere and lovely pictures. The wedding tent itself has lovely rustic chandeliers and drapes from the ceiling with sides to open up as well as a large bar area. They also give choices on how many nights for rental and the pricing is reasonable. A plus is the quick and short drive from the Quad City area. We can’t wait for September 2024!
