Shady Hollow Country Club is a gorgeous venue located in Massillon, Ohio. This classically luxurious country club features a plethora of activities and amenities for couples and their guests. Shady Hollow is located just 10 minutes from the Akron-Canton Airport and is only an hour away from Cleveland. Facilities and Capacity The stunning Shady Hollow Country Club has the space to fit up to 250 of your friends and family. Couples can host their ceremony outdoors on the lush green lawn against a backdrop of vibrant Ohio woodland or on one of the two patios with the same amazing view. After the ceremony, head into to the ballroom for a reception. This elegant ballroom features polished hardwood flooring, a welcoming fireplace, and a breathtaking chandelier made of gold and crystals. Services Offered Shady Hollow Country Club provides the space and services for bridal showers, elopements, wedding ceremonies, engagement parties, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. The venue can also provide a dance floor, chairs, tables, chair covers, all flatware, china and lighting upon request. In-house catering is also available, with serving styles that include buffet, hors d'oeuvres, plated meals, stations, and family-style meals, as well as servers, tastings, and desserts. Shady Hollow Country Club was so easy to work with for our wedding ceremony and reception. They helped us have a great wedding and their Event Coordinator, Courtney, worked so hard to make everything perfect. We were able to decorate the day before the wedding, and Courtney helped with all the last minute things like setting up our cookie table. The venue is beautiful inside and outside too!!

The venue was GORGEOUS, Courtney was very sweet the first time we met, but it seemed like every time after that she was kind of annoyed/ short with us. Granted she was very accommodating when it came to the planning but the day of the wedding she was literally no where to be found. I got ready at the venue (in the locker room) and half expected her to just pop in and ask how everything was going, but no one could even find her. The staff were amazing and helped my girls find things and set things up as needed. When I finally saw her (towards the end of the night) it seemed like she had seen a ghost. I hope it was just a bad day and she’s doing better now. when I asked her if I needed a day-of coordinator, she told me that would be her job; not to worry about it. Thankfully I had a ton of family and really good friends that did what I feel a day-of coordinator should be doing. Everything went off without a hitch thankfully and we were able to get it all done on our own. I really loved the venue! It was absolutely wonderful, we got complements from all the guests about how beautiful everything was. But if you book here I STRONGLY suggest hiring a day-of coordinator regardless of what you are told. Worst case scenario; Courtney will be your coordinator also and you’ll just have two instead of one. All in all the venue was totally worth it!

Shady Hollow Country Club was an excellent choice! Not only was the venue absolutely gorgeous (inside and out), but the food and staff were wonderful! Also very affordable!

Gorgeous renovated ballroom, deck and bar areas that provided some great picture opportunities. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Affordable and very convenient location with hotels in the Belden Village area just a few minutes away.
