About This Vendor

Use of the 1869 Shaker Tavern, the grounds and public areas on the first floor. The Shaker Tavern will seat up to 60 guests in the dining rooms and 15-20 guests on the grand porch. There are 18 acres surrounding the Shaker Tavern, allowing space for parking, pictures, and a wonderful time! Tent rental and setup to accommodate guests is possible on the lawn adjacent to the Tavern. Rental of the tent is not part of this agreement and must be arranged by the party.

Overall, we had a great experience with this venue. There were a couple things that didn't go as planned. The grass wasn't cut shorter as requested and the attendant on duty was not around when needed. Neither of these issues permanently effected my opinion of the venue, though having the grass shorter would have been nice. The venue is only suitable for outdoor weddings, they do not allow pictures inside the buildings nor do they allow a wedding to take place inside. It was a beautiful venue, expansive property, nice museum attendants, and good price for the area and what you get.
