We got married at The Sheraton in Oct, 2019. We chose this venue due to the fact of inclusions, central location, cost and quality. The ballrooms were gorgeous, the terrace was amazing. our suite was spacious, clean and well maintained. however, what truely made our wedding spectacular was their staff. Deanna, and her team were nothing short of amazing. From planning to day of, everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the drinks, especially my signature drink, which Troy came up with was perfect. From set-up to teardown, everything went off w/o a hitch. i was blown away with how beautiful everything was. The icing on the cake was their flambe show..... our guests are still talking about how epic it was..... so unique and what a way to set the tone for your reception. we truly want to thank every single member of their staff from catering, housekeeping, front desk, service, culinary and event planning. each of you made our day truly all we could imagine and then some. cannot recommend this venue enough!!! xoxo katie and todd Uberroth

Our 5/12/18 wedding reception at the Sheraton was absolutely beautiful!! However, as a bride, you do ALOT of planning to make sure things go as expected and the Sheraton dropped the ball. In some aspects, I feel as though the Sheraton did not execute things as discussed prior to the day of our wedding. To start off, the staff switched to a cash bar without our permission. The only reason it went back to an open bar was because I personally saw the cash bar sign and requested it be taken down. My sister also requested a projector for her speech because she had pictures that needed to be presented and it didn’t work.When I pointed out these blunders in my survey, I got an email back from the wedding coordinator, simply stating the issues “would be addressed”. That’s great that they’ll be addressed, but it doesn’t change the fact that it altered the expectations of my wedding day and inconvenienced some guests. To make up for it, they offered us a free night stay in the hotel with complimentary breakfast, which we declined. To me, that doesn’t make up for the fact that they went against our wishes and cost some of our guests money as well as ruining part of my sister’s MOH speech. The way the Sheraton handled the aftermath of the situation was very poor. They were very focused on how things “should have been”. I’m very dissatisfied with the way our complaints were handled and we do not plan on returning to this hotel. As I previously said our reception was beautiful but the level of accountability the Sheraton has is very poor. Not a good way to handle business. Please keep in mind, everything written is 100% true. This review was taken down from another weeding website as it was disputed by the hotel.

This was the perfect place to have our reception. Andrea was so helpful and amazing. She worked so hard to create the perfect day for us. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and professional. I could not recommend more!

I cannot say enough about the Sheraton! Andrea and the catering team were FANTASTIC! We chose this venue as they were willing to work within our budget which other venues were unwilling to do. I just had my wedding (50ppl) in the Ballroom of the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey! Andrea Stroble was our contact, she was GREAT! Friendly, funny, punctual with emails! She helps you with everything, any questions i had even non hotel related, she helped with! They set everything up and then boxed it back up when it was over. Food was excellent! Staff was beyond friendly! The room anf everything was more than i ever imagined! I would definetely recommend the Sheraton for a wedding venue!!!!!

My sister was married and had her reception this past weekend at Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey. It was AMAZING! The best wedding I've been to since I got married here 10 years ago. Everything was seamless--from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. The food was delicious! The grilled cheese shooters and chicken cordon bleu bites at cocktail hour were the best. All the servers at dinner were efficient and friendly, and you 100% can't beat the flambe dessert show! So much fun, and something I've never seen anywhere else! We all also stayed in the hotel. The rooms were very clean and nice and every associate we ran into said hi and was friendly. My son took advantage of the indoor pool, which looked well taken care of. The morning after the wedding, we went to the breakfast buffet at the Dog and Pony inside the hotel. This is definitely a one stop shop. The rehearsal dinner was in a smaller downstairs room Friday night with more DELICIOUS food. Reception in one ballroom, cocktail hour outside of the reception, reception in another ballroom. We had no need to leave the hotel for anything, which was awesome because it was raining. The staff was great with keeping everything running smoothly and making sure my family had all our guests had everything we needed to have a wonderful wedding weekend. We highly recommend this venue!

We are so thankful we chose the Sheraton for our wedding room block! They were wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day as well. Katie and her team always kept us informed of the guests that had booked rooms, and were so helpful and professional along the way. They were so easy to work with on dropping off the welcome bags the day before our wedding and were so accommodating in the time I needed to drop them off beforehand. We also received a beautiful room on the night of our wedding with a bottle of champagne and hand written note from Katie. It was all the little details that they paid attention to that made our day even more special. Thank you Katie! We can't recommend this hotel enough for your room block for your wedding.

The Sheraton was amazing! How they worked with my bride and I, and were so polite to us as well as our guest, was second to none. We originally booked another venue, however, we were unhappy with the service and the amenities they provided. We were so excited to have booked the Sheraton as their package was so much better. The Sheraton was also very organized. The Sheraton even had a change in coordinators, and the change could not have gone more smoothly. We still continue to engage with the staff when we go to other events held at the Sheraton. The only criticism that I have was when the Sheraton underwent transformation in their ballrooms (the chandeliers). In fact, that was the reason we ultimately went with the Sheraton was because they informed us that they would be getting new chandeliers. Unfortunately, during that time it became very stressful as the coordinator as well as the staff could not give us a direct answer as to when the project would be completed. However, ultimately everything turned out okay and the chandeliers were installed before our wedding date.

We worked with Lori and she was absolutely AMAZING! She was very professional and responsive, often replying to my many emails within a few minutes! She has coordinated many weddings at the Sheraton and so knew what worked and what was popular with some of the details I hadn't even thought of.The Sheraton has a wedding package that was really a great deal and made our planning much easier. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was so helpful. I gave them my decorations and they set it up even better than I had pictured in my head. I'm so happy to have had my wedding there!

Wonderful all around! The entire staff catered to our wishes down to every detail. They gave suggestions and ideas and respected all of our specific requests. And they SMILED while doing it, even through all those last minute changes. Lori directed us to the vendors and made this huge celebration unbelievably easy with all that was involved! I would highly recommend the Sheraton for a wedding to my friends and family. The food was excellent and the staff 5 star, very personable and created a \"happy\" atmosphere that added to the celebration. I would do it all over again knowing what I know now.

Jessica and her staff did an amazing job setting up the ballroom. Their attention to detail with our decorations were amazing. Jessica was super flexible and accommodating with our requests. We had a cookie table and family and guests were bringing cookies at all times, even right to the reception. They made sure they all got included and looked great. The package came with so many extras and was incredibly priced. The best part was that they set up and torn down everything and we didn't need to worry about a thing. They really did make sure our day was stress free. The only non-fabulous thing about the day was that the crab stuffed shrimp we ordered as part of the dinner was not exactly what we tried at the tasting. It was okay, but just not the same quality or taste. All in all, we'd definitely recommend the Sheraton.

The staff and facility was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for better. I originally didn't want to have my reception at a hotel but after seeing the value of the Sheraton's wedding package, I had to give it a chance. I met with one of the event coordinators there and knew that I had found the perfect place. I didn't need to visit anywhere else. The food was AMAZING and all my guests raved about it. The atmosphere was perfect the staff was very attentive and personable, both in the planning process and at the reception itself. I'm recommending the Sheraton to anyone I know who is getting married in the near future. There wasn't a single thing I can't think of that was negative about them. They made the day perfect.

I highly recommend having your wedding reception at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey hands down. Megan was amazing and worked with me every step of the way. She was not only my wedding coordinator but a friend that cared which to me you do not find often in sales. Other people just want your money and get paid. Megan stuck with me every step of the way. I had to change my date due to husband military schedule, my father passed away one week before my wedding and I found out that I was 4 months pregnant. This is a Real life story. Megan always had a solution for me and was a listening ear too. There were many options available for venue in the Harrisburg PA area but when I met Megan we just connected and I knew my wedding had to be at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey. I live in Nashville TN and work for Loews Hotels in management, so I am very knowledgeable about the Hotel World. Planning a wedding from Nashville could seem very difficult but I was not all thanks to Megan. All things were in order when I arrived and dealing with the death of my father, it was refresh and a huge relief. I literally was the Bride and felt like the Bride and if there was something that went wrong, I didn’t know about it. The food was amazing, fire show placed that unique touch to the wedding, the complimentary Suite for our night as Husband and Wife was spacious and the late night snack surprisingly needed. I can go on and on for days about the A+ service I received but I would take all day. Book with the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey you will not be disappointed.

I had both my ceremony and the reception at the Sheraton and had an amazing experience!\r\rMegan, the wedding coordinator was fantastic. She was attentive to all my needs, professional and thorough while being warm and caring as well. I felt safe knowing that my wedding would be a success.\r\rIndeed, it was. The ceremony and reception set up were physically beautiful. The food was delicious. I had both my ceremony and the reception at the Sheraton and had an amazing experience!\r\rMegan, the wedding coordinator was fantastic. She was attentive to all my needs, professional and thorough while being warm and caring as well. I felt safe knowing that my wedding would be a success.\r\rIndeed, it was. The ceremony and reception set up were physically beautiful. The food was delicious. We were SO happy with our wedding venue choice at the Sheraton!! Megan and the whole banquet team was wonderful to work with - so quick to respond with all our questions and all meetings went so smoothly. She handled everything that day and I never worried about anything. I trusted she'd make everything beautiful and have it all organized and it was! We received so many great comments on the food, including from ourselves. Everything was delicious!! All of the servers were also so attentive - they always made sure my husband and I were taken care of, which we greatly appreciated. Many thanks to the Sheraton team for making our first day as husband and wife so memorable!!! Oh, and Megan had a piece of cake, with milk and champagne ready up in our room for after - so perfect!!! Especially since we were most excited about our cake, but of course, both only took 1 bite during the reception. Loved it!!!! :)

Hello everyone, I just had my wedding at the Sheraton on August 30, 2014 and all I'm saying it was simply amazing! We got the Opportunity to work with Megan Stoner and she was absolutely amazing with everything we asked for. The wedding reception and cocktail hour were great as well. I have not heard any complaints about anything about that night. We even had our own separate bridal party room for cocktail hour. Jose and Ida were amazing to work with as well. Anything the bride, groom, bridal party and the parents tables need or wanted that helped in every way possible. Jose did an amazing flambé show that I would highly recommend to do at your wedding reception. Overall there is nothing bad to say about the Sheraton! I would recommend them to anyone for any event!

We visited multiple vendors before visiting the Sheraton in our search for a reception venue. When we walked into the Sheraton we both had this feeling that this was the place. It was clean, classy, and everyone was polite and welcoming. We met with Megan Stoner and were blown away by her demeanor and the Commonwealth Room. Megan is amazing to work with. She always has a smile on her face, is very professional, knows what she is doing, and most importantly is calm and easy going. She also did a fabulous job working and communicating with all our vendors so that the day went smoothly. The most important thing for me was not having to make a decision or have to deal with anything on our wedding day. I asked Megan that question and she confidently said she would take care of everything and she did. Megan and the Sheraton staff were excellent and did everything in their power to make our day amazing. They are very accommodating and willing to work with you to make your wedding dreams a reality. Their rates are comparable with other establishments, but the service, food, and hotel are a cut above the rest! We had a sit down dinner and the food was amazing! After the reception, our guests could not stop raving about how much fun they had at the reception and how great the food was at the cocktail hour and reception. \rThe banquet staff, including Jose and Ida, were the best we had ever seen for a wedding, and we've been in many bridal parties for many weddings. Jose always made a concerted effort to seek you out to make sure that you were taking care of. Plus, he did an excellent job with the Flambé show which is included in the wedding package; it was simply amazing and our guests loved it! We would highly recommend the Sheraton to any one of our friends or family members who would be interested in getting married locally. We had an amazing time!

I was more than satisfied with my choice of the Sheraton for my wedding reception. \r\rThe communication with the coordinator Megan Stoner was great. \r\rThe food was cooked perfectly, and on my wedding day the food tasted exactly like it did on the food testing day. I had three food choices, beef chicken and vegetarian and all were exquisite! \r\rI had cocktail hour on their chic terrace which was decorated beautifully with lights. I didn't even have to worry about any set up either. I just gave my decorations a couple of days before and the staff decorated the entire ballroom how I wanted it. \r\rMonths have passed and I still have friends and family telling me how beautiful my wedding was.\r\rThe coordinator was there the entire night making sure that everything was running smoothly, and even accommodated quickly to some last minute guests. \r\rThey are willing to work with you and be flexible with whatever they can do to make your wedding dreams come true.\r\rI couldn't have chosen a better place!

We just celebrated our son's marriage at this hotel and it was great. The pricing, the staff, the food and drink, made planning the event with such ease. I was married this past October 2013. From the moment I showed interest in having my reception at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel, my stress level dropped. I had the pleasure of working with event coordinator, Megan Stoner. She was my ANGEL throughout it all! ANYTHING I needed at ANY point in time, she was there! Megan EXCEEDED my expectations. I'd like to mention, I was also an expecting bride, which we all know can be hard to handle at times :) NOT for Megan! She gave me relief in knowing what she said would get done correctly and promptly. The staff at the hotel made our experience even more memorable. From the Dog and Pony restaurant staff, the hotel lobby and the catering staff, they all were truly genuine in making my husband and I feel as comfortable as possible. My family and friends are still talking about how accomadatihg they were. THANK YOU Megan Stoner and the rest of the staff at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel, if was a remarkable time and a weekend I could only dream about having again :)

I worked with Megan Stoner from the Harrisburg Hershey Sheraton for my wedding reception. There are still people calling us and telling us how remarkable the reception was...everything from the great selection of music the band played, to how beautiful the ballroom was decorated, to the great food and dessert from our Venetian hour! Our biggest concern was that the food be excellent, and this goal was accomplished with an Italian chef from the Bronx who made sure the steaks weren't well done! You know the staff is excellent when the bride thinks out loud and says, \"I need hair spray!\" as her veil comes off, and an attendant walks in to the bridal parlor with a bottle of Suave and a smile! The staff ensured our personal items were taken care of and locked up during the reception, and we were told exactly how to get our belongings the next day after we slept in! Jose's fire show stole the audience who wasn't expecting fire in a ballroom, and Ida led the staff in serving a large amount of people (262) in a short period of time! I think the one thing that made my parents and I happy was that even last minute problems were solved by Megan and her staff. When guests didn't quite make the deadline for the hotel rate, Megan did her best to get them the best rate possible. When the cake couldn't be stored in a fridge but needed a cool space, a space was found. When Irish coffee was requested for dessert at the last second, it was served! You can't get service like that just anywhere, and I highly recommend the Harrisburg Hershey Sheraton to anyone who wants a phenomenal wedding reception!

Our engagement was pretty long (a year and a half) and Megan was awesome from start to finish in terms of helping us with the planning. The venue was beautiful and they are very, very easy to work with. There are a lot of little details that other venues will try and nickel and dime you for, but I didn't feel that way with the Sheraton.\r\rThey promised excellent service on the day of the wedding, and that's exactly what we received. Dinner was served flawlessly and the food was excellent. Everyone was very impressed with the portion size of the NY Strip steaks they received and dinner service didn't drag on, unnecessarily. With a larger wedding, that is one key detail that effects the entire evening and we were very happy with dinner service.\r\rThe cocktails were perfect as well. I've been to a lot of weddings with open bar and by the end of the night you're drinking very light drinks out of plastic cups (because they're light on the liquor and run out of glasses), but that wasn't the case for us. The cocktails were amazing and the presentation was the same from the beginning of the night until the end.\r\rThere are just so many compliments to give the Sheraton so instead of babbling on and on I'll keep it short and sweet. Thank you for helping us have the most perfect wedding reception we could've ever dreamed of!

Megan took care of everything. She was quick in responding to my emails and \"sure, no problem, and absolutely\" were always the responses we got to our questions. She made everything so stress free. The food was delicious at the cocktail hour and the reception. Most of our guests came from out of town and stayed at the Sheraton. The room discounts were great, our guests were really pleased. We have heard so much positive feedback since the wedding. I really don't have enough good things to say about Megan and the Sheraton. They were really so great to work with. I also need to mention that what you get for the money is incredible. I think it is a great value and with so much included, you only need to deal with one person, instead of multiple vendors. I highly recommend the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey.

While we were looking for a venue for the reception the only reason we visited the Sheraton was because it was across the street from another venue we looked at. When we walked into the lobby it instantly made us want to have our reception there. The atmosphere was awesome and it looked expensive but in reality the price was the best of any of the other venues we had looked at. We started out working with one event planner and unfortunately she moved onto another position, but the Sheraton didn't let anything slip and made sure our event went extremely well. The food was awesome, the ballroom looked amazing when we walked in, and both of our families said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Choosing The Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey for my New Years Eve wedding was the best decision I made. I learned quickly that the staff at the hotel does not know the word \"no!\" They bent over backwards to give me everything I wanted to make my wedding perfect. We worked with Megan Stoner and she made the experience wonderful. Her attention to detail and overall class put us at complete ease before our wedding. She thought of things we never would have addressed, and made the ballroom more beautiful than we could have imagined. Megan went on maternity leave while we were planning our wedding, and still didn't miss a beat! We had a short, 7 month engagement, and I didn't think we would be able to get everything done in time, but Megan made it so easy for us. They food was outstanding. The presentation was first class. The decorations for Christmas and our New Years theme looked awesome! Everyone was impressed by our wedding and we owe everything to Megan and the staff at The Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey. They even helped us host a breakfast the next morning for all of our guests. Choosing The Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey for my New Years Eve wedding was the best decision I made. I learned quickly that the staff at the hotel does not know the word \"no!\" They bent over backwards to give me everything I wanted to make my wedding perfect. We worked with Megan Stoner and she made the experience wonderful. Her attention to detail and overall class put us at complete ease before our wedding. She thought of things we never would have addressed, and made the ballroom more beautiful than we could have imagined. Megan went on maternity leave while we were planning our wedding, and still didn't miss a beat! We had a short, 7 month engagement, and I didn't think we would be able to get everything done in time, but Megan made it so easy for us. They food was outstanding. The presentation was first class. Working with the Sheraton was very easy and they worked hard to accomodate all of our needs. We worked with Megan and Darcy and both were great! The venue and hotel rooms were beautiful and clean. The bar was a great atmosphere and was fun to hang out in after the rehearsal dinner and receptoin. The food was very good. The fire show was oversold, we could barely hear the music to go with the fire, but it was something different. We also had to pay for a room for the groom friday night, thought that could have been provided(they did include a room Sat night after the wedding for us in our package). Overall we had a great experience and would use them again.

\r My wife and I selected the Sheraton Harrisburg- Hershey for our wedding and reception because of the location,appearence, and staff. We were not disappointed, to say the least. The decorating was ideal.\rThe food was delicious, and the staff was very professional. Jose had a wonderful flambe' show. He was helpful from the tasting to the night of the reception. Megan and Shirley did everything they could to make sure no stone was left unturned for us to have a perfect wedding. The staff treated our guests almost like they were family. We had over 160 people from all over the country share our wonderful day, and had nothing but complements about the hotel and staff.\r

I'm not only talking about the great package you get for the price but I got way more than I ever expected with the staff!!! Darby was absolutely the best to work with!!! She made me feel so calm and confident that everything was going to be perfect the day of the wedding. She gained my trust from the first meeting and she knew exactly what I wanted. The quality of the staff didn't stop there. Jose made sure the reception went off without a hitch from the firey flambé that had my guests in awe, to the morning after breakfast we had for our guests from out of town was exceptional!!!! Megan was great at helping me cut cost in any way to keep things within my budget! The Caesar Salad, London broil and Honey Dijon Chicken were Delicious! The Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey was an excellent venue for my July 31st wedding. We had a lot of out of town guests, so the proximity to the airport and the highway was ideal. The staff, particularly Marsha who was the event manager we dealt with, were fantastic. Marsha offered expertise, suggestions, and accommodations for all our needs. We decided it was easiest and most cost effective to do everything there--the pre-wedding dinner, the wedding ceremony, the reception, and the post-wedding brunch. We were pleased with everything! \r\rThe pool at the hotel and the proximity to Hershey offered great options for out-of-town guests. The food was great. The staff was professional. \r\rThe only things that weren't ideal were the bride's and grooms rooms to get dressed and to spend some time after the ceremony. Also, the bridal suite was just an executive room with nothing done to make it really bridal. The bridal party got dressed in the room we would sleep in that night. It was far from the ceremony. The groom didn't really have a place to dress, so he used that room first. Then there was a lovely set-up of food in the meeting room we had used before the ceremony, but that room didn't have a mirror, which would have been nice. And it didn't really feel very intimate or special. \r\rMy husband is a photographer, so outdoor photos were important to him. We managed to get amazing shots right outside the hotel, even though it didn't look like it was much of a garden! \r\rFinally, my parents got the Starwood points for having paid for a wedding there, and they used them to pay for a hotel in Amsterdam on their way to visit us in Africa...what an added bonus!\r\rWe were really pleased. By doing our event \"off season\" we were able to get a really good deal. Marsha knows vendors and was able to give us good advice. She also managed to do things we wanted that she had never seen done before...she just rolled with the punches and all was perfect!

We had our wedding reception at the Sheraton in October 2010. Marcia was incredible to work with and accomodating in every way. The food was fantastic and so was the staff at the hotel. We had an amazing reception and didn't have to worry about a thing.

The Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel hosted our wedding reception. The did a fantastic job of decorating (even adding beautiful touches of lighting and a fountain)...the food was delicious...and the evening was perfect! They were very easy to work with and the hotel staff are wonderful!
