Julie Allias(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-05-2018 My groom and I are SO glad we went with the Sheraton. Our wedding reception was picture perfect and exactly how we wanted it. Neil, the wedding coordinator, is extremely helpful and makes planning a breeze. The food was delicious. I can’t even tell you how many of our guests told us it was the best filet they have had. Not only that, but the service was fantastic. Everybody was treated like royalty. I still can’t get over that there is not a single detail that was overlooked. If I had to do everything all over again, I would pick the Sheraton Pittsburgh airport every single time. Reviewed on 15-07-2018
Katie Sinagoga(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-05-2018 One word: Neil. He was the very best person to work with and one of the main reasons we chose this venue. He was kind, attentive, professional, and accommodating. He made our wedding day everything we imagined it would be. Every question was answered, every fear dispelled, and every decoration placed perfectly. In addition, all of the staff at the Sheraton was extremely kind. Our guests loved that we had both the ceremony and reception at the same venue and raved about the food. We couldn't have been happier with our choice! Reviewed on 29-05-2018
Can S(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-04-2018 The venue itself was perfect and the planning process was easy. Neil was great to work with and very responsive. The food was great, the space was perfect & decor was spot on. Vicky, part of the catering staff, was amazing. She was very attentive and friendly- we were so happy to have her help. There were a few things that took away the last star. The wedding package stated the night of the wedding, we were to get a bottle of champagne & chocolate covered strawberries and breakfast for 2 in the morning -- for the bride & groom. None of that was offered or given. We we're too tired to ask about it. Not a big deal, but it did state it in the package. Had a few other hotel hiccups, but I'm not gonna make a laundry list.Lastly, the person the hotel contracted the cake with, although she was pleasant and sweet, our cake was not designed how we discussed. It was a nice cake, but not what we were looking forward to. I almost wanted to cry when I seen it, and then asked my husband \"who's cake is that\"? The cake was still good.Overall, still a pleasant experience and glad we were able to work with Neil. He was very accommodating and took a lot of stress out of planning. Reviewed on 22-05-2018
Jillian Swisher(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-11-2017 Oh my gosh, where do I even begin to explain how wonderful having my wedding reception at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel was?! Our decision to have our reception at the Sheraton was so easy because their wedding package is comprehensive and easy to understand, their prices are very reasonable, we loved the layout and aesthetic of the ballroom, and most notably, Neil Rogers (Director of Catering) is absolutely FANTASTIC. He took what could be a stressful and overwhelming process and made it so enjoyable and stress free. During the year leading up to our wedding, Neil was so organized and explained what I needed to be doing every step of the way, he responded to all of my calls and emails quickly, and he accommodated every little request we made. We brought in an unusual amount of our own decor for the reception (100+ heavy glass vases for floating candles), and the Sheraton's staff set it all up beautifully without even batting an eye. On the day of our reception, the staff members were so incredibly accommodating to me and my family.... the woman who set up our cookie table was a joy, the bartender was fantastic, the day-of coordinator could not have been more helpful, everyone was phenomenal. And as far as how our reception went, the ballroom was ten times more beautiful than I even imagined it would be, the event flowed perfectly, the food was delicious, the bar was excellent (I got so many compliments on how good the drinks were), the cookie table was set up perfectly - not one thing went wrong all night! My expectations for our reception were very high and very specific, and Neil and his staff executed my vision perfectly. And just to give one example of how Neil and the staff went above and beyond for us, after our reception they packed all of our 100+ glass vases into boxes so that we wouldn't have to pack them up ourselves the morning after the reception. They truly made our wedding a dream come true, and I wholeheartedly recommend the Sheraton to future brides! Reviewed on 24-01-2018
Elizabeth Korn(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-11-2017 My husband and I were married on November 4, 2017. We currently live up around Cleveland. The great thing about The Sheraton was that the price included the wedding cake and the centerpieces. That was especially good for me because I didn't have to search the area for a bakery or florist. Neil Rogers was fantastic to work with. He would answer all our questions and was very prompt when I would e-mail him. The day of the wedding, I got so many compliments on the room and the food. Everything came together very nicely and the staff there were extremely nice and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. I highly recommend The Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel! Lea Petersen(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-10-2017 Neil Rodgers, the coordinator, completely sold my husband and I when we were looking for a reception venue. He is organized, attentive, completely reliable. Neil made our night perfect, even with a few hang-ups from outside vendors. My husband and I are from out of town and that did not cause any problems with working with Neil. He was always happy to meet with us when our schedules allowed. Reviewed on 06-11-2017

It was a dream come true, from start to finish. The moment we met Neil Rogers and the rest of the staff and saw the beautiful ballroom, we knew we were making the right decision. In the early stages of planning, we were treated with respect and professionalism. It was clear that they were going to make our dream wedding a reality, and they did! The day of the reception was just that! A dream wedding! All of the decorations we brought in were set up to perfection. Our cookie table and donut table were plated and displayed beautifully! The food was outstanding and the bar service was great as well! All of our guests raved about how wonderful everything was, and we credit that largely to the Sheraton and their talented staff! Dana Kelly(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-03-2015 The Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel was amazing! We got married on March 21, 2015 and I couldn’t imagine a better reception venue. Neil was very helpful every step of the way. My (now) husband and I are from Pittsburgh but live in Nashville and Neil made sure we didn’t miss anything along the way. \r\rThe hotel is beautiful inside—no casino style carpeting here (which I ran into at quite a few other hotels). The prices were extremely reasonable, the food was delicious—there were many different options and a lot of it, a new dance floor, up-lighting is available (which adds a wonderful extra touch).\r \rAll staff treated us like royalty—which is what you want on your wedding day! They all really went the extra mile to make sure myself, my husband, our party, and our parents had everything we wanted and needed that evening. There was even another event going on in the ballroom that ended an hour before mine was to start (I was aware of it prior to booking) and my DJ told me they had the room flipped and ready for my reception in 20 minutes! \r\rThis hotel was incredible and Neil has really put together a fabulous team to make your wedding day as amazing and memorable as you can imagine! I hope I get to go back soon for someone else’s wedding—I know I will be telling everyone I know about them!\r Reviewed on 07-04-2015
Heather Carr(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-12-2012 This was a wonderful place to have our wedding. The special events planner, Neil, was easy to work with, the food was delicious and it was much more reasonably priced to similar venues closer to town. Tracy Anderson(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2012 Our contact person changed twice without any notification. No one ever called us to follow up on anything. We were told they would send us hotel cards to insert into invitations that we never received even though we called twice to remind them. So we made our own. Salesperson only offered a verbal apology. Offered two complimentary round trip shuttles but would not accommodate the specific times that we requested. One of our guests checked in, walked into his room and there were other guests (of ours) in the room already. \r\rThey somehow had a room booked on Sunday for us that we did not need and never asked for. When my husband asked to change it to Saturday night the front desk clerk could not comprehend what we were asking for. He literally was trying to explain that we wanted to CHANGE a Sunday booking to Saturday and they couldn't understand what we were asking for. He got so frustrated, gave up, and cancelled the room. \r\rThe pricing and location was the best deal for us in the whole area. The rooms were nice enough. Reviewed on 14-10-2012
Megan Losasso(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-09-2012 As the mother of the bride, when looking for a site for the wedding reception, I wanted something with class, beautiful, and someone easy to work with. I got all three at the Crowne Plaza. My daughter and I couldn't ask for any one more helpful and concerned to make sure the wedding went the way we wanted, than Neil. From the minute we met him, he made the whole process so easy. He is so organized and prepared for every part of the wedding. He has great ideas and lots of experience to make sure your wedding goes perfectly. He is very receptive to any ideas you have for your wedding. People always say something will go wrong with your wedding but don't worry about it, no one will notice. Well, I can honestly say, nothing went wrong and everything was perfect. The only thing that is disappointing is that it is over. The room was beautiful, the cake, delicious, and the centerpieces, lovely. This was the only site that offered all that and they were all what we wanted. I can not recommend this hotel or especially, Neil, highly enough for your wedding. You cannot go wrong. My other daughter is getting married next year but it will be in South Carolina and I wish I could take Neil with us to plan that wedding! Reviewed on 11-09-2012
Anitre Bell(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-07-2012 The Crown plaza was an ok hotel. It is a bit pricey for just an ok experience. Rachelle Speary-Murin(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-04-2012 We used this venue for my shower, our rehearsal dinner, our reception, breakfast the following morning, as well as accomodations for out of town guests. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. We had a few very minor issues but they where quickly corrected. Everything was beautiful and the food was amazing. Nobody had any complaints, which is almost unheard of. You know there's always 1 in the group that usually complaints about something. We had around 211 people and for everyone to be happy with the service and food is a great accomplishment. We had a block of rooms reserved for guests. The breakfast buffet was included in the price of \rthe rooms. It had a great selection as well as a chef to make them pretty much anything they wanted. They provided a seperate space for our cocktail hour. The refresher room that they had for the bridal party was packed full of everything that was at cocktail hour, plus an order of cheese sticks for my husband ( his 1 and only \rrequest). We thought it would be easier to have hair and makeup done at the hotel, since most of the bridal party was staying there. They gladly provided a meeting room for us to use for hair & makeup and had coffee, tea, juice and fresh fruit for us when we straggled in. It was very early and the coffee was greatly appreciated! The hotel kindly gave my husband and I a fabulous suite for the entire weekend. I can't say enough about this place, the kindness of the staff and the fabulous memories that we will always \rhave. We really wanted to make the weekend fun and hassle free for them. The Crowne Plaza helped us do just that. \rThey provided a free shuttle to/from the airport, and two free roundtrip shuttles to/from the reception for us. Also, they gave us a complimentary suite on our wedding night. This was a huge cost savings for us. \rThe hotel bar was open til 1:30 am on our wedding night. Shannon Riley(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-11-2010 This is the hotel my friends, family, husband and I stayed at after our reception. The hotel is beautiful, first off. Our suite was pretty. But I have to say, even at the discounted block rate, the rooms were expensive. I reserved a block of rooms for my guests, but the hotel never notified me when my block filled up, which caused problems. A relative of mine would book a room but be charged the full price because our block was full without my knowledge. If they would have contacted me I would have gladly added more rooms to my block, but alas, no. Also, the breakfast buffet was waaaaaaay too expensive for the quality/selection.
