I can honestly say I chose Rebecca and not the hotel. The reason I say that is that we looked everywhere for venues and I was not feeling the energy of a few of the wedding coordinators. We happened to pass by the Sheraton and decided to just stop by and take a look. From the second we met her, I loved her energy! She is so positive and has an awesome can-do personality. My wedding was a half American style wedding and half traditional from my home country, she worked around the fact that we would be bringing in our own cultural food and it worked out great. The only things that I would say that didn't make it to 5 stars has nothing to do with Rebecca but the process. I am missing two cake servers, one which doesn't really matter all that much I got it off of Amazon, but the other one was given to us by my sister in law and we really wanted to keep it. Also, we have not heard back on where the top of our cake is, we were going to freeze it and eat it on our one year anniversary. Lastly, I would of loved the final bill a little sooner as some of us don't like to have it hanging over our heads on what the final numbers look like. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family, mainly because they will get to work with Rebecca!

The Sheraton was the best possible place we could have picked for our wedding reception! Everyone was incredibly easy to work with and all of our requests were met perfectly - even last minute changes. Our guests loved the hotel and the convenience of being able to stay in the same place after the reception. The food and food service was excellent. We even had to communicate mostly through email since we live in CO and were having our wedding in IA, but that wasn't a problem at all and response time was excellent. We're so glad we did our wedding reception at the Sheraton.

Rebecca was a pleasure with whom to work! The hotel and staff were accommodating, communicative, and professional. They helped our reception to be the hit that it was! I have not heard one complaint against the venue from any of our 300+ guests, and I can give it my thanks and recommendation without any reservations.

Overall, we loved doing our wedding reception at the Sheraton. It was a beautiful setup, great service, and we had many comments about how wonderful the reception was. Although everything turned out well, we did have a few mishaps throughout our process. When first meeting, we were told that we could have a room block and it could be extended to however many we would need. After the hotel realized it was during the ISF, we were then told if we wanted more rooms in our block we would need to contract rooms out (this was added stress in the fact we were unsure of how many we actually needed and did not want to pay for any not used). We also had a few problems with our guests being turned away when trying to get rooms because they were told our contracted block was full when in fact it was not. Rebecca and Mollie helped to fix this but was more added stress that we shouldn't have had to deal with, again. Our bridal party all stayed together the night before our wedding so we could get ready in the hotel room the day of. As the ladies were beginning their makeup and hair, painters on a scaffolding stopped right outside the window, not the background for pictures that was wanted. Once we notified the front desk, they were very willing to move us, but this should have never been a problem! The hotel knew we were the wedding party for that day and placed us in this room. This could have been easily prevented!! We also discovered a mishap that occurred with our cake topper. When we brought our totes of things to be setup for the day of, they were nicely labeled and everything was where it should have been. The day of, we went to cut our cake and our topper was nowhere to be found. We let it go the day of as to not ruin a fun night also thinking it had just been left in a tote and forgot about. The next day we went to pack our stuff up and it was still nowhere to be found. I then emailed Rebecca a couple weeks later after looking through our stuff and double checking on our part, to see where it could possibly be, or if we had missed it while packing up. She stated they had just found it on a cart they used. We would have loved to have this added piece join us the day of. Although these things happened, they were minor things that SHOULD have been prevented but wasn't something that completely ruined our day. We enjoyed their help with questions and their efforts for setting up and tearing down. My suggestion would be to make sure things are completely clear and if something does happen make sure to bring it up and let them fix their mistakes without it ruining your special day!

The entire staff was so amazing to work with and have many options to keep you under budget! We were able to meet several time before the wedding to make sure everything was perfect! The best part is all you have to do is show up, they set up and clean up! It is the best. The only thing I wasn't completely pleased with was the food we had served, it seemed like it had been cooked hours before and kept under a light. Other than that, they were amazing! Highly recommend!

It truly was the best day of our lives and we can honestly say that we have a wonderful hotel and property to thank for this. The staff was amazing -- absolutely everything went off without a hitch! Props to Sheraton WDSM!

Amazing! Absolutely amazing!! They were so easy to work with, the food was delicious and our day was perfect! If you want less stress on your special day I would highly recommend working with the Sheraton.
