Our experience with Sherwood Country Club and Kendall was amazing from start to finish! Not only are the venue and the views amazing, the service by the entire catering staff at Sherwood was impeccable. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding truly memorable. So many of our guests commented on the quality of the food, the amazing atmosphere and the beautiful grounds. We loved every minute of our reception and the wonderful staff who took care of us, especially Kendall, whose attention to detail and communication were amazing throughout. Thank you again!

Our experience with Sherwood Country Club and Kendall was amazing from start to finish! Not only are the venue and the views amazing, the service by the entire catering staff at Sherwood was impeccable. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding truly memorable. Sherwood Country Club was the perfect place to have our wedding. We live in NYC but knew we wanted to get married in the LA area near where we met. We didn’t consider a country club initially because we didn’t know if it fit our vision, but upon finding Sherwood on Wedding Wire we were hooked. Our planning process spanned two years, and Kendall was with us the whole time. She was absolutely incredible! Working with Kendall on our wedding was instrumental in ensuring that our day was nothing less than perfect. From answering a million questions about details like signature drinks (she let us add a third signature drink that was nonalcoholic and served at the bar) to allowing us to schedule our visit on the one day that we had free time while visiting LA for a wedding to working with us on ensuring no nuts were present due to a friend attending with a severe allergy, Kendall was so gracious and accommodating. We must have sent over 1,000 emails back and forth during our time planning - no joke! Sherwood itself is a dream come true. Upon arriving at the gates for the first time we knew that it was the place we wanted to celebrate our love story. The venue is ABSOLUTELY stunning. No pictures will truly show how beautiful the property is, and the renovation they just completed earlier this year simply adds to that beauty. It’s a classic, modern, and incredibly upscale venue, and six months later, our guests are still talking about it! When we were looking at venues we wanted to ensure that wherever we chose had incredible food and Sherwood did not disappoint. I cannot stress enough how delicious the food is! After our tasting we couldn’t wait for our guests to try it - and to eat again ourselves. We hosted our rehearsal brunch at Sherwood the day before our wedding as well, and we’re so happy we did. That brunch was the best we’ve ever had and the level of service and detail was incredible (think cream puffs in the shape of swans). To this day we’re still dreaming about that brunch and cannot wait to have another event at Sherwood one day. In addition to the cocktail hour and dinner food and incredible drinks (people commented that they were some of the best drinks they’d had and our Vegan friends said the food was the best they’d had at any wedding outside of their own), we also had late night bites which were delicious. The fish tacos went quickly!EVERYTHING was incredible on our wedding day. Every staff member was SO nice and SO sweet and helpful. Kendall was phenomenal on the day of and everything truly went off without a hitch. We cannot stress enough how amazing Sherwood is and how it is truly THE BEST place to have your wedding (I mean, we flew from NYC to get married there). Major thanks to Kendall, Chef, and the entire Sherwood staff for everything they did to make our wedding day the best day of our lives.

If you are looking to have the best wedding ever, Sherwood Country Club is the venue you need! To start, Kendall Newman was the best Catering Manger ever! She was so kind to us and answered every question we had. She never made us feel silly for any question and she was so fast to respond. It felt like we had been friends forever! Our wedding could not have been better, and that is largely due to the months of meticulous planning and service from Sherwood and specifically Kendall Newman. Kendall is the sweetest person ever and made us feel like we were her family members, that’s how much genuine excitement and support we felt from her. Everything was planned and executed perfectly. On the wedding day, the staff was courteous, attentive, and fun. We had the best experience ever and we will remember it forever. We HIGHLY recommend Sherwood and Kendall!!

Our wedding could not have been better, and that is largely due to the months of meticulous planning and service from Sherwood and specifically Kendall Newman. Kendall is the sweetest person ever and made us feel like we were her family members, that’s how much genuine excitement and support we felt from her. Everything was planned and executed perfectly. On the wedding day, the staff was courteous, attentive, and fun. We had the best experience ever and we will remember it forever. We HIGHLY recommend Sherwood and Kendall!!

To say this venue is spectacular would not do it justice. This is an incredibly beautiful venue that was exactly what we were looking for. Offered plenty of space, privacy for our party, and stunning views and ballroom. All of our guests were blown away. Kendall was also great to work with. She was extremely attentive to all our needs from our first visit to after the wedding. She was professional, insightful, and provided all the help we needed to make our wedding day magical. The staff at the Sherwood were also all great and we received several compliments on the service. Food was also fantastic! All in all, can’t say enough about this venue and staff.

I had an excellent overall experience with Sherwood. From the first meeting to the very end of the wedding, Sherwood provided excellent services. Kendall, in particular, was very responsive to my many questions, helpful every step of the way, and flexible when I changed my mind about things and when the weather kept changing. The day of the wedding Sherwood’s extensive staff took care of everything. It is a beautiful venue whether you chose indoors, outdoors, or a combination of both. Although we brought outside catering in, I have had the catering at Sherwood and it is top notch. I would highly recommend Sherwood - it was worth every penny!

Kendall was incredible to work with and we had such an amazing experience having our wedding at Sherwood. The grounds are absolutely stunning and even though we had to move our January wedding indoors because of rain, everything was still gorgeous and we had a fantastic evening. Our guests raved about the food and many said it was the best they have had at a wedding. The wait staff was incredible and shout out to Tomas for always making sure my wife and I had full waters and our cocktail of choice at all times.

Kendall was incredible to work with and we had such an amazing experience having our wedding at Sherwood. We got married in November but were engaged in February. I knew Sherwood was where I wanted to be married from work experience in photography. Once I reached out to them it was easy booking a time to go to location, contracts, getting our name on guard gate. Kendall helped us from the start and answered all questions that I had. Everything went smooth on our special day and we couldn't have done it without her and her staff. She was the last person I saw before I walked down the aisle and helped with my dress, truly grateful for making my day amazing.

From how well kept the grounds are, quality of food, and of course customer service are all very large factors for when I am looking for a venue for my couples. I had the pleasure working with Sherwood Country Club this month and must say from start to finish I was extremely impressed. We had a lot of small details for this wedding and Kendall seriously noted every bit of them, her team executed it all to perfection as well. Not only was their team exquisite, the food...oh my goodness the FOOD...was fantastic! Not only did our couple completely have their plates cleaned, but guests were raving about the food (along with the vendor team). Drinks were served quickly, dinner service went smooth, and overall was just a 5-star experience. Very excited to go back and work with such a stellar team soon!

Sherwood Country Club exceed my already very high expectations! A year later, my guests are still commenting on how beautiful my wedding was. Everyone at Sherwood was friendly, easy to work with (I enjoyed working with Allie) and extremely professional. They also accommodated outside vendors with ease. The venue is classy, the food is incredible and the views are breathtaking. It is the perfect one-stop-shop if you want to have your wedding and reception at one location. And when it comes to pictures... OMG! There are so many beautiful locations on the property (the waterfall is a must). If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose Sherwood. Trust me; you will not be disappointed!

We got married at Sherwood Country Club a couple of years ago and it was the perfect venue for us! We received so many compliments from guests on how beautiful the ceremony was (we got married married outside on the terrace), and how amazing the reception hall was. Given unpredictability of weather, we wanted to be able to get married outdoors but have the reception indoors in case it got cold. Also, the food was soooooo yummy! Everyone raved about it! It was nice to have a great venue with food and drinks in a one-stop shop so we did not have to go out and find other vendors.The staff was amazing to work with as well and always quick at responding to any questions. They made the process so easy which was nice for my husband and I :) If I could give this place 6 stars I would!

AMAZING PLACE!!! Natural beauty. Understated elegance. Classy, but welcoming. Can’t imagine a more perfect wedding venue than Sherwood Country Club! It’s not as expensive as you’d think — much less then some other places we looked at. What can I say...our wedding at Sherwood Country Club was the wedding of our dreams. We could not have asked for a more beautiful location and helpful staff. We had friends and family fly to LA from all over the country and they were all blown away by how gorgeous this venue was. Ali was also a dream to work with! I still dream about having another event at Sherwood because it was just that memorable. I highly recommend this venue for any of you special occassions. It's a gem!

What can I say...our wedding at Sherwood Country Club was the wedding of our dreams. We could not have asked for a more beautiful location and helpful staff. We had friends and family fly to LA from all over the country and they were all blown away by how gorgeous this venue was. Ali was also a dream to work with! I still dream about having another event at Sherwood because it was just that memorable. I highly recommend this venue for any of you special occassions. It's a gem!

We just had our wedding at Sherwood and it was magical! Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how beautiful everything was. The location alone sets the scene for a perfect day. It’s so beautiful and elegant and the views are amazing. Working with heather and Allie was wonderful. They are SO helpful, respond to emails promptly and are always polite and friendly. They have the answers to EVERY question and if they don’t, they find the answer. The only thing worth noting is that the ballroom is narrow and long BUT that didn’t get in the way of anything just something a little different that the typical ballroom. Also, some people mentioned it was pricey but I will say it’s no more pricey than any other venue in la, and you really can’t beat the beauty of the views and the drive up there (but I might be biased) :)

I can honestly say I felt a liiiiitle jealous of my guests at our wedding but just a little :). The views are breathtaking and the venue itself exudes class at a pretty good value. The service was top notch, everyone who works here is extremely helpful and friendly. We felt the food offerings included in the package we chose was a great value! We were able to have steak and fish w/o exceeding our budget! One thing to note: it does get a little hot in the reception room ( this was an observation from one of our guests, not the bride and groom who were working the room :))

We just had our wedding at Sherwood Country Club and it was amazing. The catering coordinator, Heather, was a joy to work with! All of the staff was helpful and professional the day of the wedding. Also, Sherwood Country Club is a beautiful place to have a wedding. It has amazing views and a beautiful interior. So much so that you can keep decorations to a minimum because all of the work has been done for you.

Sherwood was really perfect. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that it is quite expensive with the upgrades that do need to be made to in-house silverware, linens, etc. The food ended up being amazing, and I love the staff. (My family lives in Sherwood, so we are familiar with everyone.)

Sherwood Country Club is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I really wanted to find a location where we could be married outside and honestly, with the beautiful, rolling green hills, the crisp white buildings, clean red pavers, old California oaks....walking down the aisle I felt like I was in a dream. Working with Heather was great - she was very responsive and professional, and really worked with us to create our dream day within our budget. Pretty cool to say my wedding venue is in Bridesmaids too! A couple of reasons I don't give Sherwood 5 stars...the security gate is kind of a nightmare - we were stuck there a couple of times and if you're not lucky you could get a rude guard. On our wedding day we had a super loud golf cart engine revving (brifely) during our vows and there were two full strings of lights that did not light for the duration of our reception. But honestly, if I had to do it all over again I would totally use Sherwood again. Our pictures are incredible, and the day was positively magical. I know our guests from out of state and out of the country were all very impressed with the gorgeous venue. I definitely recomment it!

Everyone bride should be lucky enought to get married in a venue that is as beautiful as Sherwood. The staff and Catering Manager made the evening amazing. Unfortunatly, we were forced to hire a wedding coordinator as part of our contract and she was the worst and useless. Sherwood stepped up to the plate and basically served as the coordinator.

Absolutely beautiful location. There are a lot of rules that are put forth by the members of the club but I suppose that is what you get when booking your wedding at a country club. All of our Guests talked about how wonderful/beautiful our location was...it definately does impress! The food was delicious and we still are hearing from our guests about how much they loved the food. The privacy and exclusivity really create a perfect wedding day. Sherwood does get on the expensive side.
