The Shupe homestead is the absolute best place to hold a wedding. It is stunning and the owner Darla, and the coordinator Jim went above anything I could've imagined for our wedding day. Every aspect went smooth and perfect. If I could give them more stars I would.

We had the perfect wedding. And a huge part of that was Shupe Homestead. The scenery is amazing but beyond that Jim and Darla are so great and processional to work with which made the day go flawlessly. I will recommend this venue to everyone!

Shupe Homestead was more than we could ever ask for, for our wedding! The staff was wonderful to work with and made everything flow so easily from the very initial planning all the way up to the end of our wedding night. It is such a beautiful venue and we couldn’t be happier we having our wedding there!

If you're thinking of booking Shupe for any event, do it now. Shupe Homestead is everything my husband and I DREAMED of. They were professional, punctual, kind, and Jim, the event planner, was INCREDIBLE. I planned my wedding working three jobs in a different state, while my husband worked several jobs. Jim made sure we didn't miss a single thing, and he and his staff made the evening the wedding of my dreams. The weather was crummy, but Jim had a plan for everything. The service was unparalleled- they even ran out to purchase something our caterer forgot! Shupe was the only place we found that didn't nickel and dime us for everything or require us to use all their vendors. I could sing the praises of Shupe all day long, but I will stick with this review.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this venue! It's easily within budget, includes a wedding coordinator team, and Darla is great to work with! The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't set up the day before or earlier in the day. My bridal party was running around trying to get everything set up and it went into our picture time which was really unfortunate. I didn't get all of the bridal party pictures that I wanted. Other than that, it was amazing! Highly recommend!!!

Shupe Homestead is absolutely amazing! I can not recommend this beautiful place enough. Not only is the place like heaven, so SO beautiful with every aspect. The mountain views are to die for and so is everything else they have on their homestead. This place has ample photo opportunities, which is one reason why I picked it. The staff you get to work with there is absolutely amazing too, especially Jim. Jim makes you feel like your day is above and beyond your special day and he makes sure it is 100% how you want it. He rocks at his job!! I could not imagine my wedding day to be anywhere but at the lovely Shupe Homestead which will forever have a special place in my heart. ❤️

Shupe was the perfect venue for our wedding and we would recommend it to any couple! Jim and Darla were so helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process and worked seamlessly with our wedding planner. The best advice I got when picking a venue was to find a space that you didn't have to change very much to make it was you envisioned. That is exactly what we got at Shupe. The grounds are so beautiful, our guests loved the mountain views and the reception space was perfect for our 80 guests. We had the most unforgettable wedding day and would choose Shupe 100 times over again. Thank you Darla and Jim!

They are so well prepared that during our rehearsal, they told our groomsmen where to place their hands during the ceremony. Our wedding day was beautiful and we got so many compliments about how smooth the day went and the location, but all of that credit goes to Shupe Homestead!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Darla and Jim. The venue is absolutely beautiful! The landscape and views are stunning and it has a warm, inviting feel. Darla and Jim were with us every step of the way. We had plenty of help planning and got lots of guidance and suggestions when we asked for it. It felt like everyone was just as invested in our wedding as we were. On top of that, all of the rentals are included in the venue price and there were extra decorations we were able to use (for example, a card box and sign). Jim has an amazing ability to talk you through the stressful moments and was super communicative leading up to the big day. On the day of, we were wed, fed, hydrated, and happy. People just appeared with food and drinks without us having to ask for it. Even though things were shifting constantly, I did not feel any stress and it seemed like any \"problem\" that arose was an easy fix. Our day was truly perfect, everything we dreamed of, because of Darla and Jim.

Then we met Darla and she is so sweet and kind and we knew that we needed to book this amazing venue! The day of our wedding went so smoothly! Between Darla and Jim and the event staff we worried about nothing! All our guest are still talking about how beautiful and fun our wedding was! They can’t stop talking about this gorgeous venue! I’d highly recommend it to anyone! It truly is a beautiful beautiful place!

Darla and Jim were phenomenal and made our wedding truly memorable. From start to finish it was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better site, team, or planner for our wedding. Shupe Homestead takes care of nearly everything for you so that all you need to worry about is saying \"I DO!\" and celebrating afterwards. Darla generously opens her home up to provide a personal place for the bride to get ready and stay out of the groom's site prior to the ceremony. She takes pride in her property and organizing the ceremony so that it is flawless! She truly is gracious and welcoming in hosting your wedding. Jim is a lifesaver! As wedding planners go, you couldn't find someone better. He helps you plan the details from start to finish and then delivers! It was fantastic to be able to sit back the week prior to the wedding and trust that Jim had everything under control. The day of the wedding was even better than promised thanks to Jim. He handled the staff, details, and any issues that arose with ease and made it so we had the PERFECT day. Unbelievably talented planner!Shupe Homestead is a gorgeous place that treats you like family. If you need a ceremony and reception site that is hassle free and feels like home, this is it! Shupe Homestead is an amazing complete package of a wedding venue. The setting is idyllic and so perfectly Colorado, the feel is home-grown and intimate, and the service is the best of the best. My husband and I were looking for a wedding venue that not only provided a great experience for our guests, but also represented us and everything we wanted out of a wedding venue. Shupe was able to provide just that. We loved the size of the property and everything that was provided on-site - tables & chairs, linens, and planning coordination and event service staff (including bartenders). Darla and her staff went above-and-beyond day-of to make sure our event went above and beyond our expectations. When the day was colder than expected, the entire At Your Service event staff got to work making apple cider for our guests, and making sure everyone knew where our blankets were located. The decorations were placed perfectly, and guests were never left wondering where they should go or what they should do next. The event timeline went off without a snag, and our wedding day was literally perfect. Thank you SO much from the bottom of our hearts for literally making our wedding the best day ever!

It has a country feel with fantastic mountain views. Minimal additional flowers and decor is needed since the venue is naturally set up with flowers and country decor. You can also bring in your own food and alcohol which cuts down on the price since most venues require you to purchase from them. This venue was worth every penny and an affordable price ( I would even say great price for what is included including the scenery). Our guests have complimented how beautiful the venue was and that they have never heard of this place before. Hidden treasure :)

Almost all of our guests came up to one us at some point and commented on what a picturesque location we had. I would HIGHLY recommend Shupe Homestead to anyone.

So beautiful, helpful, organized, and just amazing!! We had planned on an outdoor wedding, but due to the weather we had our ceremony inside, but I believe it was even more beautiful! You cannot go wrong at Shupe!!

I recently got married at Shupe and got so many compliments on the venue and how naturally beautiful it is. Darla answered all of my questions when I had them and was wonderful throughout the wedding. We were one of the last weddings she was doing without providing tablecloths, servers, etc. so I think the next weddings there will have much less work than we did- we did literally everything ourselves, down to the tablecloths. Wonderful place!

The Shupe Homestead was an amazing rustic county venue with beautiful indoor and our door options. The owner was amazing. She was incredibly gracious and patient with us. She acted as a wedding planner, coordinator, decorator and many other roles. \r\rI cannot give Shupe Homestead enough good feedback. We had about 200 people involved in our wedding so we can confidently give 400 thumbs up!

Driving up to go see the venue 11 months before our wedding, my husband and I knew this place would be hard to say no to. Surrounded by gorgeous scenery, pastures, and the foothills, you would never know you were only 15 minutes from Longmont. The grounds are kept beautifully and the indoor space was the perfect size for our 120 guests.\rDarla and Ken were so helpful answering all questions and making sure things ran smoothly with all the vendors. All of our guests asked us how we found such a gorgeous place and had a wonderful time.

Shupe Homestead is a beautiful venue for a wedding and reception or just one or the other. My husband and I had our reception there and it was perfect. This is a great location if you are looking for a true \"Colorado\" wedding. The inside of the hall is spacious with a beautiful bar. I definitely recommend this venue!
