HIRE THEM!! Tracey & SERG are absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! We hired SERG for catering + event coordinating and I truly cannot recommend them enough. Not only was the food and flow of the day absolutely perfect, but Tracey made the lead up so much smoother than I could have imagined. Honestly, as I'm sitting here writing this, I'm realizing it's actually hard to even list all of the places that Tracey jumped in that we're truly above and `beyond. She not only had a way of making things feel less stressful and reassuring you that the day would be amazing, but also like you were family from the first conversation, which is truly makes such a difference for such a personal day. And for catering, they were all so nice & accommodating when we met for a tasting – and the food amazing of course!- but after that Tracey was so on it, that I’ll have to admit that I didn’t have to handle one more conversation with the catering team! I couldn’t have imagined the day being any better or stress-free. It’s been almost a year since having my wedding and my husband and I, along with our family are STILL talking about how wonderful of an event it was. From the food (biggest compliment we got all night from guest) to the energy, it couldn’t have been as amazing without the help of Tracey, SERG catering and the rest of their team. The Beaufort Inn was my dream venue but I didn’t think it would be in budget while also meeting my stylistic vision. After months of searching for other venues and teams, I found my way back to SERG & the Beaufort Inn and I’m so glad I did. My husband and I hosted a welcome reception for 94 people the night before our son’s wedding. I can not say enough good things about Signature Catering, especially Susan and Delaney. Susan really listened to my ideas for the evening and was considerate of our budget - we decided on a Carolina BBQ with all the fixings, everyone raved about the food , everything was delicious!! Delaney was our event coordinator- I had many questions along the way since I was planning this event long distance from NJ, my phone calls were always answered with a cheery voice on the other end with a quick answer or solution- she even came out to the venue the day of the party to help us with some set up logistics. The staff that night was very professional, friendly and helpful - they used some of my decorations as requested to carry my theme throughout the buffet stations along with pretty floral touches of their own so the food tables looked beautiful and inviting - the service was top notch. I highly recommend Signature Catering, everything from start to finish was fantastic. We felt like Susan and Delaney really cared about us and wanted our event to be special and it was!! THE PERFECT WEDDING! Hands down this was the best experience for myself (mother of the bride) and my daughter!! Tracey Mancini and the staff at Signature Catering and Events are the absolute best event and catering company in the Lowcountry! Our event was absolutely perfect, We had a 1:00 pm wedding with a strolling reception for about 185 people under a tent. The way that Tracey designed the layout of the tent could not have been better. We had plenty of space and everything flowed smoothly. I literally had nothing to worry about and was able to just have fun and enjoy the day. The space was BEAUTIFUL and I was so impressed at how easily they put it all together. The team at Signature worked together so well and you could tell they were happy to be there and were enjoying being a part of our day. Tracey worked with us ahead of time to make sure she had every detail of our day planned out and she nailed them all perfectly. The food was incredible too and presented so beautifully. Our Chef's and his staff were so friendly and professional and just a joy to be around. If I could give them 10 stars I would, it was that perfect. Look no further!!! If you are a couple looking for an overall extraordinary experience, Serg Catering & Events is your go to! I live in PA so planning for a \"destination\" wedding can be stressful to say the least, but all of the staff working for Serg was amazing. Especially, Tracey Mancini...words can't begin to express the gratitude I have for this woman. She is truly WONDERFUL! From the moment you meet her you feel like she is a part of your family. She is organized, responsive, caring, organized, loving, and well respected among the many vendors on the island. She also helped us work within our budget to create our dream wedding. She had suggestions for vendors who were great and truly made us feel stress free as we were planning from miles and miles away. If I needed her she was always a phone call away! I had family members and various vendors that she was working with, which can be a lot, but Tracey worked with them seamlessly. Everyone who I talked to that had an interaction with her thought she was just amazing..which SHE IS!! As far as the wedding goes, I was blown away from the organization and presentation. Our venue looked amazing thanks to her, our vendors, and the staff! They worked with exactly what we wanted including our take on a food menu and it was AMAZING!! So delicious! Not only did our guests rave about the food (which was delicious btw!) they also raved about the exceptional service provided by the staff. they went above and beyond to make our day extra special. We were able to customize our menu and set up to get exactly what we wanted. They worked with us diligently and provided suggested as needed. and, the pricing was quite reasonable.Additionally, do yourself a favor and HIRE TRACEY. she is the wedding \"coordinator\" but should be more aptly named Wedding Specialist Extraordinaire. seriously... she absolutely made our wedding perfect. SERG provided the catering, wait staff, servers, and beyond for our wedding on HHI. They served a fantastic buffet meal, late night snacks, appetizers during cocktail hour, and served all beverages. Not only is their food incredible (I had so many guests raving to me about the food), but their service is at the highest level. Tracey and Kris went above and beyond to make our day perfect and we are extremely grateful for them. They carried out everything we had discussed to a T and then even handled things for us that were beyond their specific duties. Our day would not have been the day it was without them. Each and every staff member was a joy to be around. They remembered specific guests and their drink orders which impressed our guests greatly. They served food and cleared dishes with smiles on their faces. They even incorporated the vibe of our decorations into their bar and buffet tables to make the entire venue look seamless. They are the definition of professional and caring. I owe them so much for making our day absolutely perfect. They cared about our wedding as if it was one of their family member’s weddings. From start to finish, I felt I could trust Tracey, Molly, and SERG with everything. From planning the buffet menu and staff numbers at the very beginning of the planning process, to carrying it all out on the day of (in pouring rain and high winds), they handled everything with grace and dedication. She and her team were remarkable, wonderful, supportive, understanding, reassuring and all sorts of other caring adjectives resulting in a culinary experience which was beyond equal. In the calmness of an early evening in the beautiful low country, Tracy and her team ensured that the post-wedding ceremony proceedings went like clockwork with the food tasting as if each plate was cooked individually. The servers were even more attentive than our wedding coordinator. They ensured we received appetizers during cocktail hour. The potatoes did taste slightly different from the tasting and we were looking forward to them but everything can't be perfect, right? They worked with us to bring the linens and china sets as well. Working with them was so easy considering all the issues we had with other caterers either not being able to handle gluten allergies or just plain ghosting us.Would recommend 100% for any catering needs. Molly Kennedy was born and raised in Orchard Park, New York and graduated from Paul Smith College with a degree is Hospitality Management. She moved to Hilton Head Island in October of 1996 and has been running the largest catering & event planning company in the Low Country since that time.
