Silver Fox Lavender Farm LLC is a French-style country event barn located in historic Nellysford, just 30 miles southwest of Charlottesville,Va., set in the mountainous serenity of the beautiful Rockfish Valley. The event barn is surrounded by gorgeously kept grounds, lavender fields and blooming trees. This rustic barn venue offers an ideal location to host a private wedding ceremony and reception. This newly-constructed post and beam barn was finalized in the Fall of 2021 and has since hosted many spectacular celebrations at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. For a magical celebration that provides privacy and serenity among the fairytale backdrop of Virginia's natural landscapes, look no further than Silver Fox Lavender Farm LLC. Offering exclusive use of their venue, you and your guests can enjoy an intimate celebration for up to three days access at Silver Fox Lavender Farm LLC. They are also licensed to host wedding ceremonies so you can spend your entire day in one breathtaking location. Their venue offers two outdoor ceremony spaces, the Mountain View and our most popular Pond & mountain View, where you and your loved ones can celebrate your momentous occasion overlooking the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. After your ceremony, you can begin the festivities in their spacious barn which boasts a rustic wooden interior, iron chandeliers, and a hand-carved gas fireplace. This area can host 75 seated guests or, using their outdoor covered porch space 150 guests in total. For seating, they can provide five hand-built farm tables, 9 5ft Round tables, 4 cocktail tables, a sweetheart table, and two square matching tables. A get-ready space is also available for those all-important wedding preparations before the big day begins. Silver Fox Lavender Farm LLC prides itself on offering a completely bespoke venue service, allowing you to choose your own preferred vendors for your truly personalized event. To ensure that your celebration comes together seamlessly, they provide a range of facilities, including a beautiful and relaxing bridal suite complete with a slipper soaking tub, a rustic groomsmen cottage, a chef inspired catering kitchen, a large movable bar, two-barrel bars, one sweetheart table and ample space for parking.

Suzie and Steve, the owners, and Erin the manager were so welcoming and lovely. They made every aspect of the day fantastic-- Steve even set up a bistro light setup for a weird ceremony spot that I asked for! I would 100% recommend them to those looking for a venue-- the inside of the barn is also lovely and needs very little decor and smells like freshly cut wood and lavender.

This is the most beautiful, special place. We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. The owners, Suzi and Steve, and site manager, Erin, are the nicest, easiest people to work with. The barn is stunning - a stone fireplace, beautiful bridal suite upstairs, and a full catering kitchen. The outside is somehow even better! Great views of the mountains, fields of lavender, a pond, and a just beautiful setting for wedding photos. Highly recommend Silver Fox Lavender Farm for your special day!

Silver Fox Lavender Farm is an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue. The owners, Suzi and Steve, are incredibly warm and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. The lavender fields were in bloom for our early June wedding, and the mountain views were gorgeous. The barn, which Steve built himself, is super charming and so many of our guests complimented the setting. Suzi was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process. She was always available to answer our questions and make sure that we were happy with everything. We would absolutely recommend Silver Fox Lavender Farm to anyone looking for a beautiful and unique wedding venue. Suzi and Steve are incredible, and the venue is stunning.

We had a 120 person wedding at Silver Fox Lavender Farm in May. We could not have been more thrilled with our weekend there! Beautiful space built by the owner himself that was made beautifully inside and out, feeling equally modern and rustic. We were very DIY with all our decorations, but thankfully the space was beautiful enough that we didn't have to do too much! The owners are so accommodating and generous and were highly receptive to our ideas. We were able to bring food trucks and set up a buffet. Having 120 people seated for dinner felt very cozy, and though it was very doable, I probably wouldn't recommend trying to squeeze much more than that. Overall, this was such an awesome spot!!

My wife and I had to schedule our wedding in 2 months. When I called SFLF, they were just getting started, but they still agreed to show us around. They were very laid back and told us they just wanted us to have a good event. The offered a very fair price compared to local competitors and they worked with our schedule. The vendors were kind and courteous throughout the entire process. We remained friends with them afterwords.

Lavender and love, what more could you ask for?!?My husband and I got married at Silver Fox Lavender Farm on June 4th, 2022. The venue is amazingly beautiful. We had our ceremony at the pond on-site with the most stunning Blue Ridge Mountain views. Our reception was inside the gorgeous French country barn. The bridal suite is awesome too. I felt like a princess! The entire lavender farm was beautiful and made for lots of gorgeous pictures and backdrops. The owners, Steve and Suzi are down to earth and willing to accommodate any specific requests you may have. The catering kitchen is appropriately appointed for any catering needs whether you go with a plated or buffet style dinner. The courtyard and covered deck space is very versatile. If you’re looking for a memorable venue for your special day, this is it!

Erin Kinsey (Manager) Welcome to Silver Fox! I have been involved with the Farm since Suzi and Steve started building the Event Barn a few years ago. Once the barn was completed in the Fall of 2021, they brought me on as Site Manager to help conduct tours and show couples how beautiful their weddings can be here at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
