The Preserve at Silver Spring, formerly Silver Spring Golf Club, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, is a wedding venue under new ownership with exciting updates. We have a gorgeous combination of rustic beauty and contemporary accommodations with robust packages, amazing food, and stunning views. Here at the Preserve, we believe it is your day your way and we would be honored to host your event. The Preserve at Silver Spring is a full-service event center and beautiful 18-hole golf course with floor to ceiling windows overlooking rolling green fairways and beautiful oak trees. We can accommodate up to 300 guests and have two beautiful reception areas and a tented rooftop ceremony space with incredible views. Included in that is the use of our newly remodeled bridal suite and grooms' room we even have an in-house floral studio to add less stress and more beauty to your day. Our chef-created menu, fun and friendly staff, outdoor games, gorgeous onsite photo opportunities, and custom room layouts all add up to a perfect laid-back, stress-free event for you and your guests.

Booked this venue, early last summer for spring of 2024, signed a contract with in house catering which was a big one we were specifically looking for, and roof top ceremony under their white tent. Got a e-mail in September that they changed all of that no in house anymore and No roof top ceremony 2 things i fell in love with. They (Alexis B)told us minor changes were going to be made but NONE were going to affect decisions that were made and thus ultimately led to us signing the contract and paying our down payment. Immediately upon reading that email we contacted them and was upset they were not holing up to the contract, my fiance said he would discuss with me further as i was at work. We decided we did not want to go with them as we chose them for the in house catering and now we would have to outsource and find a catering company and we wanted roof top, they refused to refund us bc in the contract it says no refunds for cancelation unless someone else books that date. They breached and ultimately terminated the contract by voiding everything but yet we don't get a refund for changes they made without our permission..i would highly suggest not going with this place due to management issues as others also noted.

Overall, it was a beautiful location and our wedding turned out just fine. However, I should have known when I was first contacting venues and they weren't getting back to me that there was going to be a communication problem. Days leading to our wedding I had a hard time reaching the manager which added stress to an already stressful situation. But you get what you pay for... And sometimes you don't get what you pay for! We did not get our late night pizza though we were refunded for that. The menu choices were fine but the veggies they use are frozen and not very flavorful. They did work with us well on last minute changes with guest numbers. Overall, I felt like more advice could have been offered in decision making and there could have been a lot better communication.

We loved having our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at Silver Spring. Alexis was communicative, organized, and genuinely seemed happy for me and my husband. She was a HUGE help in coordinating our day and making sure everything went smoothly. Silver Spring is a gorgeous venue. We had our ceremony on the rooftop overlooking the rolling green hills and trees. The indoor spaces for the rehearsal and reception are beautiful and simple elegance. The grounds are gorgeous with the greenery and creek. All of the staff is so kind and helpful. The food was delicious. Our guests loved the putt putt and bags and golf carts to take pictures with. We loved getting married here and absolutely recommend this venue for your event!

We loved having our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at Silver Spring. Alexis was communicative, organized, and genuinely seemed happy for me and my husband. She was a HUGE help in coordinating our day and making sure everything went smoothly. Silver Spring is a gorgeous venue. We had our ceremony on the rooftop overlooking the rolling green hills and trees. The indoor spaces for the rehearsal and reception are beautiful and simple elegance. The grounds are gorgeous with the greenery and creek. All of the staff is so kind and helpful. The food was delicious. Our guests loved the putt putt and bags and golf carts to take pictures with. We loved getting married here and absolutely recommend this venue for your event!

My husband and I booked this venue almost two years ago. Something that really sparked our attention was the roof top ceremony, and their package deals/pricing. When we booked a lot of things were uncertain-if the roof top needed repair, if the pricing was going to change. The venue went through two management people until we got to Alexis. Alexis was nothing but helpful and beyond patient with not only me but also my husband. There was a lot of confusion in the begining of our time working with Alexis from previous management, once Alexis got things cleared up and we were reviewing the venue-we were beyond excited for the day of. Alexis was available by email, throught the knot and by text for all the minor panics (do I need to buy my own isle runner), and bigger concerns like food accomdations for food allergies. My husband and I were inlove with the fact that this venue is pretty all inclusive. The bridal suites are available for you the morning of which is SO convient. We had our rehersal dinner at the venue the night before, which we were able to set up and decorate the night before for our wedding the following day which eased a lot of stress and worry for the day of. Our ceremony and reception were held here, food and drinks were all included. One of the best parts of this venue was the on site florist. Carrie deserves her own shout out and raving review because I was absolutely in awe and obsessed with ALL of our wedding flowers. Carrie to was always available for reassurance, reminders to stay off pintrest and support. Carrie is so talented, I showed her my inspiration and my color schemes and she gave me exactly what I wanted and so much more. I was shocked because Alexis was there and attentive to all of my needs not only on the rehersal dinner day, but also the wedding day. I got to the venue at 7am, and Alexis was there ready for the day. She helped many times with my veil, offering water on our hot wedding day, she reminded us about the time and also was comforting to me prior to walking down the aisle. The only iffy part of our experince with this venue was feeling left out of the loop at times. The venue changed their name, and we had no idea (only important for our wedding invites at the time). We were unsure until a few months prior where our ceremony would be held. I am a planner, so that did not help me in any way shape or form where as my husband is a bit more relaxed. Overall, Silver Spring is absolutely beautiful. The food was very good, the drinks were good and the service was great. We recently had had our wedding here. Everything was beautiful from the suite to the rooftop to the reception room. The food was a great variety and the taste was delicious . Bar was competitively priced and the drinks were quick and tasty. The flowers were very beautiful she definitely knows what she’s doing The place has very unique places to take pictures that you would want to last a lifetime. All in all we have nothing but good things to say about this place. This is our new go to place for events.

We are very happy that we chose Silver Spring as our wedding venue! For starters, you can't go wrong with the prices and packages they offer. We had our ceremony on-site on the rooftop and our reception in the element room. Both spaces have a lot of character, making decorating very easy and minimal. The food was delicious and hot, including the late night pizzas! Our bartneder Abby was very atrentive, super friendly, and kept everyone happy! Yes, they have gone through a few event managers, but Alexis was amazing! She walked us through everything for the recpetion and was with us all day of the event making sure we were all comfortable, had what we needed, and were aware of the timelines. And there is even a florist on site- Carrie did such an amazing job with our flowers! I know absolutely nothing about flowers. We talked for a few minutes in which time she 100% understood my style and theme and ran with it. They were BEAUTIFUL. Everyone had a wonderful time, pictures turned out great with the use of the golf course, and we all left happy with no complaints! Will definitely use again for future events.

We booked silver spring because of their all inclusive package and we weren't looking to spend an arm and a leg for just one night. It's a very pretty venue, escpesicallg four our Christmas theme wedding! We went through several coordinator which got annoying but it is what it is. Everything was great, besides the food. Our tasting was terrible. Cold meats and frozen veggies. We went into our wedding knowing that food was going to be the biggest complaint from our guests and it definitely was. We had beef burgundy as an option and only a handful of guests got beef on their plate, so that was the talk of the night. Everyone loved the appetizers though! It's a great venue for those trying to stay on a budget but the food, eeeeh I'd pass on the venue for that reason!

Do not book this venue for any formal event. I booked this venue for my wedding over a year ago. The venue has been through THREE event managers since I booked. I just got married last week and my experience and wedding was an absolute nightmare. Sabrina is the current event manager and the last one that ended up taking over for my wedding. Not only was she absolutely rude to deal with she does not know how to talk to people. She blamed us for not knowing that the buffet style dinner was not an actual buffet. She then insisted that we get a head count of what my guests want for their protein option TWO WEEKS before my wedding. Instead, we eneded up paying more per person (which we were willing to do), but that solution wasn't given to us until my wedding planner went back and forth with her. I found out TWO DAYS before my wedding that there was a less expensive rate/different food option for kids. When confirming other final details she had said to me \"I just wanted to make sure you guys weren't doing this to me again?\" At my rehearsal dinner, one of the nice staff members let us know that the food from these events get reheated and served to golfers, which is disgusting. If this is true, then why did we pay extra per person to have a true buffet at my wedding and how do I know that the food is fresh? Also, why am I paying for the golfers to eat? Right before my wedding, my husband's aunt fell and got seriously hurt. (We found out later she fractured her ankle on one side and sprained the other. Sabrina was grossly under-prepaired. You would think they would have a first aid kit or an ice pack for these kinds of accidents. She had to grab her keys from her office and putz around with unlocking doors and had absolutely no sense of urgency with helping this situation. Right after my ceremony Sabrina was absolutely nasty with my guests to the point of my other vendors noticing. My aunt asked for a chair to be brought over from another table and her response was \"No I can't do that. I don't know if the bride and groom are doing assigned seating.\" She absolutely knew. We stressed to her multiple times that we did not want assigned seating and that was the whole reason why we chose the buffet dinner. Everything from where tables were going to be placed to wanting to have a recession line after my wedding, she had some kind of problem with it. The only nice manager at this venue is Devin. He went above and beyond with making sure the marquee was taken care of with the message we wanted. That wasn't even his job. Please save yourself the stress and heart ache. The beautiful venue and some of the nice staff is not worth it.

We couldn't be happier that we chose Silver Spring as our wedding venue! It is the perfect space if you want a \"one stop shop\" venue. We had our ceremony on-site on the rooftop. We took all photos at the venue (the golf course/colors were beautiful for our fall wedding). The bridal suite was big enough for my 11 bridesmaids to get ready in. And there is even a florist on site- Carrie did such an amazing job with our flowers! The staff was amazing and took care of everything for our big day- we have no complaints.

We found Silver Spring at a wedding show and Megan the coordinator was helpful from the first moment we met her! The venue is so nice, with a beautiful stone wall and open beamed ceiling, complete with Edison lights. So much room for a giant party or room to spread out during covid. The way they set up pricing made our life so much easier for planning. There is even an onsite florist who transforms the venue to exactly what you had in mind, with the ease of her shop being in the lower level. Would 100% recommend working with Megan and Silver Spring. The food was flawless and we got so many compliments on our dinner (salmon and twin tenderloins).

SSGC was amazing for our ceremony and reception. We got married on October 31, 2020. With everything going on this year with having to postpone and reschedule everything Megan was a breeze to work with. Everything went so smoothly! Megan couldn't be there day of but her assistant Calla was also amazing to work with. Overall we were very impressed with the event staff and everyone LOVED our bartender! SSGC was amazing for our ceremony and reception. We got married on October 31, 2020. With everything going on this year with having to postpone and reschedule everything Megan was a breeze to work with. Everything went so smoothly! Megan couldn't be there day of but her assistant Calla was also amazing to work with. Overall we were very impressed with the event staff and everyone LOVED our bartender! The food blew us away and I couldn't recommend SSGC more as a venue to have your wedding.

Our wedding reception was on November 2, 2019 at Silver Spring. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue with the wonderful snow coming down. Katie helped with so much during the planning process and Megan made sure every last detail was ready to go day of. It made the day run smoothly and minimized our anxiety knowing Megan was right there supporting us. It couldn’t have gone better. The Element room has the most beautiful decor, patio and views overlooking the golf course. The wrap-around bar easily accommodated our guests with plenty of space to mingle. All the staff were incredibly helpful and willing to do and help with anything and everything. We are so glad we decided on Silver Spring!

From the moment we arrived to the time that we left the staff was checking up on us to make sure that we had everything that we needed and making sure that our drinks were full at all times. We received so many compliments on how amazing the food and drinks were along with how beautiful the venue was. Silver Spring really is the perfect venue and I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with them! We had our ceremony on the rooftop and our reception was in the Tremont room and both spaces were beyond beautiful. If you're thinking about choosing Silver Spring as your venue I would highly recommend it!

They also accommodated my aunt who is gluten free in the catering process. I forgot to mention the bartenders and waiters were great as well. My husband and I got married on September 29, 2018 and had our reception at the Silver Spring Golf & Banquet Center. We could not be happier with our experience with Katie Jensen and the staff at Silver Spring. From the beginning of our reception selection process to our wedding day, Katie Jensen was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful. She helped to ease the tension that every bride and their family go through during the wedding prep and planning process. Any time we had a question relating to the wedding, we emailed Katie and she consistently responded in a timely and professional manner. She reminded us when payments were due and explained the breakdown of each payment and made sure to ask us how we wanted the remainder of our minimum to be spent. Katie also worked with all of our vendors both before the wedding and the day of to insure that everything was displayed and served, as we wanted them. Katie was there the day we got to set up for the rehearsal. She answered questions and got us additional tables or items as needed. We met with her a couple months ahead of time and she had everything planned out before we even arrived to set up. The night of our wedding reception Katie made sure to check in with us just enough to make sure that things were running as we hoped, but we also felt like none of our guests even knew she was there helping coordinate all of our moving parts. She worked with our photographers to bring us out to the golf course and get some of our favorite photos from the day. I cannot say enough to describe how happy we are to have chosen Silver Spring for our wedding reception venue. We had an unforgettable day and none of this would have been possible without Katie taking the lead on our special night. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Katie Jensen and the Silver Spring Golf Club tasks for all of the time energy you put into exceeding our expectations.

We had a good sized guest list (300) when we started looking for venues, and Silver Spring was one of the few venues in the area that fell into that category. I had never been there before our tour, but when I mentioned the venue a lot of our friends had good things to say. Let me start with our contact, Katie. She gave us our tour when we initially visited, and was there on our wedding night. We booked the venue about 1.5 years in advance, and regardless of the time frame she was always extremely responsive to my questions, and willing to let me stop in to see the venue. The food was awesome. We did a group tasting and got to sample many of the options. So many of our guests raved about the food, from allergy accommodations to promptness to taste. We chose the Bliss package and had everything included for one price. Silver Spring set up the items I had for decor and everything was perfect! I would absolutely recommend them over and over again!

We had booked Silver Spring in 2016 for our April 2018 wedding. We had to book early bc my husband is a Marine and we would be living overseas until then. Katie was wonderful with answering any questions I had and was very prompt at responding to emails. I returned home a few months ahead to get all the details done and everything went so smooth. They have 3 packages to choose from and it really made things easy for me. I had to pick out my linens, my dinner choices, and the flavors I wanted for the late night pizza. Katie asked all the questions for the details I might not have thought of so by the time the day came up I wasn't stressed at all, just excited. Everything on the day was wonderful! We got so many compliments on the food plus all the servers and bartenders were excellent! I feel super lucky to have planned for this wonderful night and actually get my wish of nothing going wrong. I didn't have to worry about a thing! I would highly recommend Silver Spring for your next event, I couldn't be happier!

We truly enjoyed our experience with Silver Spring Golf Club and their amazing staff! Throughout the process Katie was fantastic. She very capably handled all of my questions, even the ones I had already asked, and was always pleasant to work with. Our wedding had 125 confirmed guests and we used the Tremont room that held everyone comfortably and allowed space to walk between the tables. The one recurring theme that I've heard after our reception is that the food was wonderful. Even my picky father-in-law loved the chef carved prime rib and the waiter-passed bacon wrapped water chestnuts. When the wedding party arrived, we were greeted by Katie who took all of bags and brought over the DJ so we could remain unseen for the grand march. This place is spectacular, especially for the off-season price, and I would absolutely recommend it. We truly enjoyed our experience with Silver Spring Golf Club and their amazing staff! Throughout the process Katie was fantastic. She very capably handled all of my questions, even the ones I had already asked, and was always pleasant to work with. Our wedding had 125 confirmed guests and we used the Tremont room that held everyone comfortably and allowed space to walk between the tables. The one recurring theme that I've heard after our reception is that the food was wonderful. Even my picky father-in-law loved the chef carved prime rib and the waiter-passed bacon wrapped water chestnuts. When the wedding party arrived, we were greeted by Katie who took all of bags and brought over the DJ so we could remain unseen for the grand march. This place is spectacular, especially for the off-season price, and I would absolutely recommend it. I hope other brides seek them out at the Wonderful World of Weddings bridal show at State Fair Park in Milwaukee.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Silver Spring Golf Club, and we were so incredibly happy with the service. Our ceremony was off-site, but our reception was in the Tremont room. We utilized the whole Tremont room for our 220 guests. There was plenty of room for guests to sit and move around comfortably. The moment my husband and I stepped in Silver Spring Golf Club for a tour we knew it was the place for us. The Tremont room is beautiful! It has a rustic yet classic look. We loved the floor to ceiling windows and lighted, wooden ceiling beams. From the moment we toured the venue to the night of our reception, the service was phenomenal. Katie was absolutely amazing to work with! She was very responsive to any questions I had. She made the last few very stressful weeks leading up to the wedding very easy. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness, advice, and patience. On the night of our reception, I was impressed with how Katie and the other manager on duty approached my husband and I multiple times to ask how everything was going. We had no complaints because the night was perfect. The room was set up exactly how we wanted and no problems occurred. In addition to the great service, I also have to compliment the food. It was delicious! We received many compliments on the food. I am so happy with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Silver Spring Golf to any engaged couple looking for a venue.

My husband and I just had our reception at Silver Spring and we couldn't be happier! Katie was our main contact from day one and worked through everything with us from beginning to end. I wish the manager would have stayed on a little longer to help chorale more of the guests back inside to watch the first dances and whatnot. Overall, it was our perfect day, and the location is gorgeous. I would recommend it.

We got married at SSCC just under two weeks ago and I couldn't have found a better venue to use! The space was gorgeous! The rooftop ceremony was comfortable and quaint for a family ceremony and the Tremont room was large enough for us to invite more guests to celebrate. Katie was our wedding coordinator and she exceeded our expectations! She was patient, kind, and informative with all my back and forth decisions (I'm super indecisive). Her email responses were within a timely manner, she answered all of my questions (probably more than once), and she laid the wedding day out so simply that we had nothing to worry about, it went off without a hitch (just kidding, I got hitched)! Katie and their staff helped make it the best day ever!!!

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because they switched our on site coordinator the week before the wedding so it didn't go quite as smoothly as I had hoped. The only thing that didn't go off super smoothe was the food, it was delicious but getting it to the tables looked a little chaotic.

Our wedding was at Silver Spring Golf Club in September of 2016 and we couldn't say enough nice things about the venue and their staff! Every interaction or meeting we had with their staff was friendly and professional. We started our experience off with a different wedding planner for the first few months of planning. Around the time of our food tasting we were surprised to find out that she quit. It did not take long for Silver Spring to find a new wedding planner so shortly after that we found out that Bethany would be taking her place. After meeting with her for the first time we were blown away by her excitement and ability to make us feel comfortable. We immediately felt confident in her ability to run the show on the day of our wedding and she did not disappoint when that day came. We also had our rehearsal dinner at Silver Spring the night before our wedding and Bethany accommodated our request to use the smaller of the banquet halls despite the crazy schedule she had that day. It was a relief to hand off the decorations for our wedding to her that night because I knew she would do a great job. I neatly organized our decorations and had written instructions explaining where certain decorations should go and she did everything exactly the way I would have. Bethany also did an amazing job working with all of our vendors. At our wedding the food was outstanding, the staff was polite and efficient, and clean up was a breeze despite having to get our decorations out the night of. Our wedding was perfect and Silver Spring had a huge part in that! I would definitely recommend this venue!

Had some challenges with organization beforehand (reminding them to send me a bill, repeatedly emailing/calling for information leading up to the wedding) BUT everything came together beautifully. They were a great support the day before setting up, and ran everything very smoothly the evening of with the onsite wedding coordinator. Our guests loved the roof top patio cocktail hour, and everyone loved the room set up. It was great to have guests be able to filter outside through the patio doors in the later evening too. The late night pizza was a big hit!

We originally looked at Silver Spring because of the reasonable price and how much was included, but once we saw the Element Room, there was no going back! It is almost all windows, with a gorgeous backdrop, so it felt natural and beautiful - exactly what we wanted, as opposed to a stuffy hotel ballroom. They have recently had renovations, which was a nice improvement as well. All of our guests raved about the food (I had multiple family members trying to get the stuffed mushroom recipe from wait staff!) Heidi was great to work with, and made everything easy for us. We would recommend Silver Spring to anyone!

We held our wedding in the La Par room. It was very special to us because of the wonderful views. We wish we could have taken photos on the greens but that wasn't allowed. No beverage package that we wanted which then got a little pricey. The chicken was very good the fish was a little over cooked. Very easy and friendly event planning staff. We weren't able to decorate when early in the morning of the evening before which caused some stress but if you have an event planner or friends then it should be fine. I just did everything myself so it caused me stress because when I would be able to decorate I needed to be other places getting ready for the day.

The room was beautiful, the food was great, and the golf course is a great backdrop (particularly for the La Par Room with windows on 3 sides and beautiful weather).

We picked the La Par restaurant at the SSCG because it was warm, inviting and had amazing views of the turning autumn leaves. I didn't want to spend a lot on decorations so I wanted a good looking space. I also wanted a real bar, not a banquet bar on wheels. I seemed to have some communication issues the week before the wedding which was a little frustrating but when I met with JR on Thursday he put all my concerns to rest. JR and his staff were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond and were generally fun to have around. Since we had our ceremony there as well, they included the rehearsal dinner in our contract which was fantastic. Everyone said the food was really good. We had a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres for the reception and the food was a hit again. We're even thinking about booking our Thanksgiving dinner there!
