Since the 19th century, Silver Springs has been one of Florida’s most treasured landscapes. As one of the largest
artesian springs ever discovered, people have long been drawn to the springs’ natural beauty and vibrant clarity. In
fact, Silver Springs is Florida’s first commercial tourist attraction, opening to visitors in 1878. The park is renowned for the Glass Bottom Boat tours: guided boat rides where guests could travel around the spring on a vessel with a clear bottom in order to view life underwater.
Today, visitors still enjoy the Glass Bottom Boat tours on top of the same crystal springs that have been inviting admirers for decades. Designated as a National Natural Landmark in 1971, Silver Springs State Park offers a naturally beautiful location for your event. With both modern, well equipped indoor venues and natural outdoor options to choose from, it is the ideal location for weddings, corporate functions, and
family reunions.
From the unique venue,glass-bottom boat rides, kayak and canoe trips to the creative culture and romantic appeal, the springs are an ideal place to host your special event.
Lauren Boothe was an absolute joy to work with. She was great on communication, she was there every step of the way assisting with anything we needed so that my husband and I could enjoy our day. Her and her staff were an absolute joy to work with. Silver Springs State Park is not only a wonderful site to see but also the most beautiful venue we could have asked for. All our guests kept complimenting on how gorgeous everything was. Reviewed on 10-10-2023

Amy P(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-04-2019 Silver Springs State Park is a gorgeous venue. It's very scenic, the natural beauty is gorgeous. It's also very affordable! But be prepared to have a backup indoors, thanks to Florida weather. I had my heart set on an outdoor ceremony and 45 minutes before, the ceremony got moved in the ballroom due to lightning and hail. Also be prepared: since it's a state park, you can't have the flower girl drop petals, lavender, etc, your send off has to be bubbles, glow sticks, or wands (no sparklers), and if they end up doing renovations it will take a while (I was supposed to have my cocktail hour out on the deck-absolutely gorgeous- however they were redoing the decking and were supposed to be done several weeks before my wedding. They weren't even half done on my wedding day so cocktail hour had to get moved as well.) we had the reception in the ballroom, which has almost floor to ceiling windows. We had to use their catering vendor (one less decision for me to make) but there was no tasting beforehand. I was nervous about that, however I should not have worried, everything was great. In fact, many people told me afterwards how delicious the crab dip was. Like they went out of their way to tell us how good it was. So I would highly recommend thE crab dip. So even though there were several things I wish could have been different (outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour on the deck, flower girl drop petals, lantern send off) would I change the venue? Absolutely not. I am so happy we got married at Silver Springs. Reviewed on 01-05-2019

She decorated the tables, put some of my favors together anything I needed or wanted she did. They provided food and a full bar so I didn't have to find a caterer and everyone loved the food. They have everything you need there. She also had some great ideas to help with putting the decorations together. Absolutely nothing went wrong, I didn't have any issues at all. I would recommend everyone who is looking for a beautiful place to get married at, do it at Silver Springs Nature Park.\rPam was great. It was a beautiful wedding. Reviewed on 12-05-2011
Hilary Knott(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-06-2004 The ability to get married by the water but not have to deal with the logistics of a beach wedding was fantastic. The facilities are perfect for an outdoor wedding, and the grounds are beautiful for the guests to stroll, and for the bride and groom to use as photo backgrounds.;The food provided is fair, but nothing special.
