Pop into the New Year with savings from SKYLIGHT! Come in & tour SKYLIGHT for a chance to participate in our champagne pull and win some epic discounts! Located in the heart of the Santa Fe Arts District in Denver, Colorado, SKYLIGHT is an industrial-chic, blank-canvas venue full of possibilities. SKYLIGHT can host up to 200 for a seated celebration, and many more for a cocktail-style reception. With white brick walls and a massive skylight, the venue has a stunning ambiance that needs very little, if any, decor. Outside, the recently updated courtyard is ideal for photos, cocktail hour, and your favorite food truck. Couples are invited to begin their day in the comfort of SKYLIGHT’s client suite. You and your wedding party will have ample space to relax and enjoy a pampering session before walking down the aisle. Once you have made your way down the aisle and your vows have been exchanged, the venue can be transformed for dinner and dancing. SKYLIGHT welcomes you to choose your own vendors and can provide you with a list of recommended partners. SKYLIGHT offers 24 hour rentals so that you can have access to the venue from 10am on the day of your event to 10am the following day, allowing you plenty of time to set-up and celebrate. Couples can also choose from a range of decor and services to elevate their celebration – from a photo booth, draping, to a mylar dance floor and more. Included with the space rental are tables and chairs for 200 of your favorite people, cocktail tables, an outdoor courtyard and a client ready room. Plus, SKYLIGHT is pet-friendly so your favorite fur friend can be part of the celebration as well. The team at SKYLIGHT understands how much work goes into a wedding and will strive to create a seamless experience in the lead-up to your big day. You will be provided with a concierge to answer all of your questions about the venue. SKYLIGHT also offers a range of planning packages, from month-of coordination to full service, to help ease the planning process.

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Skylight in November 2023 and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Our Skylight Team -- Erin, Jill, Clay -- were all incredible and made our day perfect. Everything felt organized and timely from day 1, resulting in zero hiccups or hurdles throughout our entire process. Skylight also has great relationships with so many vendors in the Denver area, which made it super easy for us to find food, lighting, audio, etc vendors for the big day. Finally (and arguably most importantly), Skylight built a new custom bar in their venue and it looks incredible. Clay helped us with all our beverage ordering needs and made it effortless. All our guests loved the layout of Skylight and how easy it was to grab a drink and have a good time. Thanks so much to Skylight, for everything!

We loved having Skylight as our wedding venue. The staff was helpful and courteous throughout the process, and leading up to the wedding day. Skylight has a great vibe, which was exactly what we were looking for - An elevated, modern industrial elegant blank slate that we customized to our style. Our guests raved about the venue and how they loved it as well. We were able to have tons of flexibility in picking our vendors, which was a huge highlight. The ability to pick our own catering and other vendors made such a difference to our wedding and how personal it felt. They also provided additional decor items that we rented out, which was helpful to not have to find elsewhere. We would definitely recommend Skylight, and if I had to do everything over I would pick Skylight as our venue every time!!

We had our Spring 2023 wedding here and I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better venue. They made sure we barely had to worry about anything and the space is so open that we were able to really make it our own! Staff was amazing, the new bar set up is GORGEOUS, and the outside area was absolutely crucial! Would definitely recommend!!!

We had our Spring 2023 wedding here and I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better venue. The staff was terrific to work with - between the walk through/pre-planning and the bar they made everything straight-forward and easy. Staff is amazing! Perfect wedding venue. You can truly make it your own. My husband and I got married at Skylight in May of 2023 and it was the most perfect day. We loved the planning services offered, we opted for partial planning and it was the perfect level of support for us. We highly recommend Skylight. It was easy making our wedding unique to us and our coordinator Erin was so helpful in making vendor and décor recommendations. We were extremely happy that we decided to book Skylight and have our wedding here. Skylight allows you to customize their space in any way you see fit. We utilized Erin for planning and day of coordination and she did a fantastic job helping us through the planning process as well as executing our vision on the day of the wedding. The venue itself looked fantastic, communication and execution with our vendors was seamless and everyone had a fantastic time helping us celebrate the big day. We appreciated that there were no surprises, hidden costs, or strings- everything was transparent and straight forward. We loved being able to choose all of our vendors (while still having a great starting place/inspo with Skylight's Epic vendor list).What really sets Skylight apart as a venue is the team. We worked with Jill and Erin, and they were both incredible at every step of the process. We had to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID, and they were kind, responsive, and reasonable. As you can imagine, this was ultra stressful for us, and we really appreciated that they were willing to work with us. We added month-of coordination and it was some of the best money we spent. Erin is amazing and has so much vision. We 100% would have died with out her.Every single person we interacted with from the Skylight team were kind, funny, and fun- that matters a tonnnn when you're deciding who to work with for your wedding!

And just the venue itself, so beautiful and a great blank canvas for the wedding/event theme you envision. We dropped off all our decor the morning of (we had mostly DIY decor). When we arrived before the ceremony, we were just in awe of how everything was set up. It was beyond what we ever imagined. The staff did an outstanding job. Our family and friends are still raving about how perfect everything was that night. We can’t thank you enough!!!

We are so happy we decided to have our wedding at Skylight this past September. We loved that Skylight offers a 24-hour rental for a great price. Jill and Erin were very helpful in the planning process and answered our questions quickly. We were glad we added the month-of planning on to our rental. Erin kept everything organized leading up to the wedding and made sure things ran smoothly the day-of. The event space is beautiful, versatile, and made for amazing photographs. Our guests are still commenting on what an impressive space it is. This was the perfect place for a downtown Denver wedding.

I mean the beautiful venue speaks for itself, but I want to emphasize that the team at SKYLIGHT was absolutely amazing! I was basically born to plan a wedding, but once my time came, I knew I was going to need help. Erin and Jill were wonderful helping me plan every detail from the table decor to the tastings to the timeline. I could not have done it without them. Our wedding was beautiful, fun, and just plain perfect thanks to the team at SKYLIGHT. Highly recommend!

Before booking, I loved their incentives to support black-owned and LGTBQ-owned businesses and it really drew me to wanting to work with them. From the day we booked to our wedding day, it was completely smooth sailing. Erin went above and beyond to make sure the room looked absolutely stunning on our day. All of our guests were treated to the best hospitality. I would recommend Skylight 100 times over.

Knowing we wanted a city wedding, but we also wanted to do it our way, SKYLIGHT was hands down the best choice. Another plus about this location is that you get the venue from 10am on wedding day to 10am the following day, which helped for preparation/breakdown. We threw an absolute party, which is all we wanted. If you're looking for a city vibe for your wedding, but want the ability to customize it and make it your own, you've probably found your venue!

My husband and I got engaged and were immediately interested in SKYLIGHT as a venue. We loved the flexibility that SKYLIGHT offered through the entire process. We could pick any of the vendors we wanted and they had some referrals for where to start. We had a laidback wedding with video games in place of dancing and SKYLIGHT accommodated our unique setup. We also added the 8 week coordination package. Even when we planned our whole wedding and had to postpone 5 months, even when we also had an elopement at SKYLIGHT on our original day, and even when the party actually came and I had all my own DIY decor, Jill was right there with us and helping everything work seamlessly the entire time. Our wedding would not have been the same without her. 150% worth every penny. Thank you, Jill!

If you do book this venue, I highly recommend adding the coordination. Our coordinator Melissa was AMAZING! Skylight was the perfect venue to host our wedding! We loved the open floor plan, exposed brick and of course the skylights and string lights that line the ceiling of this venue. It was the perfect back drop to host our fabulous wedding! Because of the large windows, garage door to the back courtyard and skylights, the lighting was breathtaking from start to finish as the evening progressed from sunshine to sunset to stars. The urban setting was also an awesome backdrop for our wedding pictures! Skylight and the Santa Fe Art District are beautiful settings for wedding pictures! We loved every moment of our wedding and that was largely because of Skylight! Melissa was our wedding coordinator and I cannot say enough good things about her and how hard she worked to make our day perfect for us. She was organized and supported us throughout the entire process. She was there to recommend the best vendors, answer any questions at all hours of the day, and extra flexible with our requests. She made sure our day was flawless and ran smoothly. She decorated the venue with all of our DIY decor and supported all of the vendors so that I did not have to worry about any details day of. When the big day came, Melissa was there every step of the way making sure my husband and me and all of our guests had a wonderful time. My dress had a little mishap right before the ceremony but Melissa was right there with her sewing kit to fix it and within minutes I was able to breathe and enjoy the evening! Not sure what I would have done without her in this moment, it was really reassuring to have a wedding coordinator day of. She also went above and beyond to make sure my husband’s grandparents were comfortable and having a good time. Clay and the bar staff did a wonderful job too and our guest really enjoyed their hospitality! Clay helped us stay within budget while making sure everyone attending our wedding could have what they wanted to drink and enjoy themselves on our big day. We will forever be grateful to Skylight and their staff for making our wedding so perfect. We really loved having our wedding at SKYLIGHT, not only because they are so close to our house, but the people we worked with were wonderful. Melissa was our contact throughout, and she was great. So quick to respond and was very helpful when we needed her. We loved the blank slate and the venue without anything at all is a beautiful space. It was really nice to be able to have the place for 24 hours (10am-10am) in order to get set up and tear down with little stress. Clay with the Skylight bar was super easy to work with, as well. We requested a couple of specialty drinks, one that required muddled blueberries and his bartenders delivered. I never saw a large line at the bar, ever. Anything we asked of Clay, he delivered. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Skylight is like the cool mom of the wedding venue world. You can do whatever you want within reason. The space is beautiful on it's own, but it's also like a blank canvas. If you have a vision, you can make it look fantastic at Skylight. It has great natural lighting inside and a great courtyard in the back that feels private and cozy even in the middle of the city. Hiring Melissa to be our coordinator was the best decision we made. She had tons of great suggestions and hooked us up with the best vendors. She worked hard to understand our vision and was passionate about making it a reality. It's obvious that she loves her job. We feel so fortunate to have had her on our side through an experience that can be notoriously stressful. Thank you for giving us a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

We LOVED the look that SKYLIGHT offered for our wedding. We wanted a location that was beautiful on its own so it wouldn't cost a fortune to decorate. We also wanted to party all night and this was the only venue we found that gave us the space for a full 24hrs! Clay, the service/bar manager, went above and beyond to meet our beverage and staffing needs. Melissa, the event coordinator, was so sweet and allowed me to visit the venue a number of times and answered all my needy emails. The only negatives of the venue were the small prep kitchen which caused some initial issues with catering and upper management's last minute changes. They really put their workers in a tight spot by changing the liquor license and requirements multiple times before our wedding. We had to jump through quite a few hoops because of the owners' choices. The staff deserve a huge shout out for helping us work through management's poor decision timing. In the end, our wedding was what we wanted and the venue was beautiful; I just wish it wasn't as stressful.

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at SKYLIGHT, and it worked better than we could have imagined. We had plenty of space, and they flipped the room for us so easily. Trust me when I say this: BOOK HERE NOW, YOU WON'T REGRET IT! Everyone says their wedding day is the best day ever, but when you have yours at Skylight, it couldn't be more true. We booked before any events had taken place, while it was still under construction, and yet we were never nervous about how things would turn out. The owners, the staff, THE COORDINATION TEAM, THE BAR SERVICE - they were all so wonderful to work with and I am not exaggerating when I say we couldn't have done it without them. While I like to think my husband and I are very creative people, we weren't sure how exactly to execute our ideas (simplistic nature inspired) with such a big, blank canvass. Then comes Jill, Coordinator Extraordinaire, who saw our vision and gave us suggestions that guided us towards creation. With Jill's help, my husband and I had a stress-free planning process. How many couples who are funding, crafting and organizing their wedding on their own can say that?! Jill (and the whole 828 Coordination team) was communicative, resourceful and enthusiastic from booking to even after our wedding was over! Each one of our vendors loved working with Skylight and Jill - the day couldn't have been more smooth!Skylight helped to throw the best party for us by creating the BEST open bar package and tending service. We were able to request specific types of beers and wines based on our crowd, along with liquors and garnishes for an affordable price. And when we drank the bar out of vodka at 10pm, they went and got more vodka without us having to ask or incur extra charges! How accommodating is that?! Our guests loved the bar tenders and friendly service they provided.And last but not least, THE VENUE! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception here and it was absolutely perfect. Not only is the space beautiful, but with most of our guests traveling into Colorado for our big day, it allowed for everyone to enjoy themselves instead of having to change locations between events and worry about a timeline. Additionally, Skylight is centrally located in Denver, surrounded by artwork, hotels, easy transportation, bars, restaurants, tourists activities, etc., so it's especially great for those who are visiting the Mile High City for you and your significant other! Our guests and us loved everything about Skylight. We joke about getting married again just so we can party there and hang with the team all over again. So if you're thinking of having your once-in-a-lifetime day in Denver, do yourself a favor and have it at Skylight.

I honestly cannot put into words how perfect SKYLIGHT was for our wedding. My dream venue was just a big customizable room where I could throw a party, and SKYLIGHT absolutely fit the bill. The clean simplicity of the inside and outside areas were perfect for our city wedding, and we were able to make everything look and feel just how we wanted. Jill, Clay, Blake, Ashleigh and the rest of the team really went out of there way to make sure everything went smoothly, and honestly it was flawless. I would absolutely recommend SKYLIGHT to anyone getting married or throwing any sort of big event.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience at SKYLIGHT. Jill Sanger was our wedding coordinator and she did nothing but put us at ease, was on top of every detail and willing to communicate at any moment needed. My now husband and I had just come from a contract falling through with a different venue after 4 months of planning, stress and already telling our guests the date of our wedding. We found SKYLIGHT the next weekend and knew it was more perfect that what we had originally planned and had the date we needed available. The VENUE IS STUNNING! Our wedding guests could not compliment it enough. We had a smaller wedding group (90 people) and thought the venue could look empty, Jill did such a great job on organizing the flow of the space to make it fill full and inviting! I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom who want the opportunity to make the wedding their own, work with an incredible professional and experience staff! With SKYLIGHT I was able to wake up on the day of my wedding and knew it was going to be everything I dreamed of.

The beauty of SKYLIGHT is that is really is a blank canvas. It is not a cookie cutter, basic venue. Your wedding is free to be as creative as you want it to be! The space is so beautiful and simple that anything you add to it will just make it that much more beautiful. We got so many compliments and we’re so happy with how our wedding looked and felt. Every time we talked to the staff they were so helpful and willing to make our ideas come true. We loved the area around SKYLIGHT and the space itself.

I had a hard time settling on a venue that was both affordable and in line with the aesthetic that we were going for on our wedding day until I found SKYLIGHT! Skylight was an amazing venue! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our special day. The skylight coordinators were extremely helpful and provided world class service. The hanging overhead lights gave the venue the perfect touch. We were pleased with every aspect of the venue. Our only concern was the photobooth which was rented through the venue, the booth needed some extra lights to brighten up the pictures. Other than this minor concern we loved having our wedding reception at Skylight:)

Skylight was an amazing venue! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our special day. The skylight coordinators were extremely helpful and provided world class service. \"What a great venue that was\" - all of our guests. Seriously, everyone kept talking about how beautiful or cool or interesting or unique Skylight was. From our perspective, we couldn't have asked for more. My biggest recommendation would be to add on their coordinator. Jill and her team were the biggest blessing and hands down the best money we spent our whole wedding. From negotiating and coordinating contracts, to using her industry knowledge to get us the most bang for our buck, she made our entire wedding planning process so seamless. The day of also couldn't have gone smoother. I can't tell you how nice it is to know that you have someone batting for you all day. To not have to worry about being at the venue for set up, and walking into the space of your dreams before your ceremony - it makes the day magical. Even if you don't hire their coordination services, the venue is still the stuff dreams are made of. It's a blank canvas AND having the venue for 24 hours is something you won't find anywhere else. It was nice to leave our party and not have to leave with all of our stuff. Being able to wrap things up the next morning was a gift. I could gush about Skylight all day. Their bride room is the perfect size, the bathrooms are nice, the outside area is great, the interior transforms easily. You should probably get married here.

I have so many good things to say but the take home message is this: Skylight made our wedding dreams come true, and we will forever be grateful to the beautiful people who worked to make it so. First off, we won our wedding through Skylight (still cant believe it). As part of recently opening, they offered off a free wedding and we were selected. Now, while this totally meant that they could have asserted themselves with what they wanted since they were footing the bill, or they could have totally cut corners and planned on a budget, but they were so warm and accommodating, and seriously pulled out all the stops. They gave us the gift that we never would have been able to have provided for ourselves. The people- Ashleigh Glod is the wedding planner that coordinated our wedding who works for the 828 venue company. Let me tell you, that woman is a wedding fairy god mother. She is the perfect blend of calm and getting shit done. She never showed that she was stressed, even though I saw her schedule and to do list and it made me panic. She was always available to me, even though I know she was still having to attend to all the other weddings and parties she was planning. I was super overwhelmed and Ashleigh provided the perfect amount of support. She was always there to say \"I'll take it from here, no problem.\" She was completely reliable, and I really never worried about much of anything, all you brides know what a gift that is. Ashleigh is made to be a wedding planner, she is a therapist, dreamer, visionary, and friend. Tim and Louise, who own 828 venues, were so amazing and kind. Tim was on the front lines helping to set up and take down. He is this wonderfully tall and kind person who you can tell just enjoys seeing clients happy. Louise is his wife, but also was our photographer. I may be biased, but she is one fantastic photographer. I swear I have no idea how she managed to capture our \"best sides\" the whole day through. She perfectly managed to navigate our blended family and dynamics, without hurting anyone's feelings. She was 100% there for me, for us. She even offered to do engagement photos for us, free of charge, which in no way benefitted the venue, but was just out of the goodness of her heart. The venue- it's just beautiful. White walls make everything pop, allowing for any decor to be brought in to bring someone's vision to life. The venue was able to seamlessly transition from our ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the party all in the same place at the same time. They were a well oiled machine, no one even noticed when they were taking decor down. The best part about 828's philosophy is that they are truly there for their customers. They believe that a customer should be able to bring in their own vendors, allowing for wedding planning/party planning to be more affordable, something that has gotten wildly rare in the business. They give you access to the venue for 24 hours, to do whatever you want for how ever long you want. That is a company that truly represents the couple, not their own interests. Even before we had won our wedding, I was seriously considering using their venues because I love their philosophy so much. In short, this team of beautiful people walked into our lives and will forever be a part of not only our wedding, but our lives. They gave us the greatest gift, there are not enough words to thank them. I wish every bride could get the gift of a life time, being able to enjoy their wedding.

Jill was attentive to all questions and worked well with the vendors we brought in. The blank canvas of the room itself is a real positive when a lot of venues can look very dated. It is a lot of space to decorate but we added a large center chandelier and it was stunning. With uplighting on walls and other touches, the large room becomes elegant and intimate. Because it is a blank slate, absolutely everything had to be brought in, down to the garbage cans and coat racks! It all makes for a large bill for rentals and decor, but we were able to make it just what we wanted it to be. Skylight made our daughter's vision for her reception a reality.
